We have fully evolved into a Harry Potter Podcast. Don't know when it happened, but it did.
Think about it, Cinderella 3 has magic, wands, fairies, an evil person who you can't say their name (mostly cause they don't have one) and Audrey and Jimmy happen to know a lot about HP.
Anyway, this movie is a masterpiece. I don't care what Dan says.
Listen as Dan, Jimmy and Audrey explore the themes and details of this 2007 straight to video (and our hearts) moovee

[00:00:00] This is Amy Poehler. My new movie, Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2, is coming to theaters June 14th
[00:00:05] And it's making me feel joy and sadness and anger
[00:00:09] Definitely some disgust. And I think a little fear
[00:00:12] But I'm also feeling these new emotions like anxiety, embarrassment, envy and ennui
[00:00:18] It's what you call the boredom
[00:00:20] Okay that one was weird. It's gonna be the feel everything movie of the summer
[00:00:24] Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 rated PG, parental guidance suggested
[00:00:27] Only in theaters June 14th. Get tickets now!
[00:01:03] From the ashes smeared all over Cinderella's dirty dirty face and fingers
[00:01:08] Cause that's where she got her name from
[00:01:11] It's Scraping The Vault
[00:01:13] I get it. I see what you did. That was Jimmy
[00:01:15] And Audrey is over there. Hold on. There it is
[00:01:19] This is the podcast where we watch straight to video Disney sequels
[00:01:24] And we talk about them and Jimmy likes them slightly less now that he's not drinking anymore
[00:01:29] And that's really what he likes to do
[00:01:35] And yeah, let's wait for that beautiful sound and we start the show
[00:01:41] There you go
[00:01:42] So Dan, did we talk about this last time? And the answer is you don't remember
[00:01:48] Cinderella is a nickname. Not unlike ET
[00:01:53] It's the extra terrestrial
[00:01:55] People call it ET ET
[00:01:57] Extraterrestrial
[00:01:58] Cinderella is a nickname given by her wicked evil stepmother
[00:02:03] Oh, by the way
[00:02:04] It's a mean nickname too
[00:02:06] What's her real name?
[00:02:08] It's like Stephanie or something French
[00:02:15] Anyway, so it's her nickname and they call her that
[00:02:19] I have to say this because I'll forget
[00:02:22] I think True Nod Dan and perhaps Audrey
[00:02:27] The actress who played the evil stepmother in the original 1950 Cinderella
[00:02:33] The same actress who played Maleficent who is being Beauty's evil wicked queen
[00:02:39] Did not her playing with magic in the wand in this movie
[00:02:46] Different actions she's dead
[00:02:48] But her with the green stuff and all that
[00:02:51] Was it not an homage to Maleficent? Was it just me?
[00:02:54] I think you're giving them too much credit to assume that there was any intention behind it
[00:03:00] That would be an homage
[00:03:02] However, Daniel and Audrey
[00:03:06] Yes
[00:03:07] I'll have you know the actor who played the prince
[00:03:10] Cinderella's prince
[00:03:12] Same guy from the 50s
[00:03:13] Same guy who's also dead
[00:03:16] The same guy who played Prince Eric from the 1989 Little Mermaid
[00:03:21] How can you have, do you think it's the same prince?
[00:03:26] No
[00:03:27] Again I think the man's well-bead
[00:03:30] Because think of it this way
[00:03:32] Watch this, wait, wait, hold on
[00:03:34] In the movie
[00:03:35] Cinderella gets banished to another kingdom
[00:03:38] Right
[00:03:39] On a boat
[00:03:40] Did that boat not look identical to Prince Eric's boat?
[00:03:43] Hey, yeah I have a question about that
[00:03:45] What time period is this movie in?
[00:03:47] In 1962
[00:03:52] Speaking of years
[00:03:53] Cinderella 3 was released in 2007
[00:03:58] And this is where I talk about what was happening
[00:04:03] In the world at the time
[00:04:05] Oh
[00:04:09] That's a good song
[00:04:12] What?
[00:04:13] Oh, yes
[00:04:16] Let's see, top six new stories
[00:04:18] According to Czech GPT, the paid version
[00:04:21] So it's actually thinking about things
[00:04:23] Virginia Tech Massacre
[00:04:26] This was rewritten
[00:04:29] I asked it to rewrite
[00:04:31] The stories in the form of how like a Disney princess would say it
[00:04:36] So let's see
[00:04:37] Oh dear friends, a most sorrowful event befell us
[00:04:40] On April 16th, 2007
[00:04:43] A terrible bill and caused great harm
[00:04:46] Does it work?
[00:04:47] Taking the...
[00:04:48] Okay, hold on, I have something else
[00:04:50] Oh no, this music is too...
[00:04:52] It's appropriate, had a bad day
[00:04:56] Massacre of Virginia Tech
[00:04:58] We're gonna go with Landslide
[00:04:59] Has nothing to do with 2007
[00:05:01] But it's a nice way for me to plug
[00:05:04] Bowie's planning
[00:05:05] It's a podcast I'm doing with Eric
[00:05:07] This isn't even Bowie
[00:05:08] If you like the weirdness of this show
[00:05:10] You'll enjoy Bowie's planning
[00:05:13] Anyway, oh dear friends
[00:05:14] The most sorrowful event befell us
[00:05:16] On April 16th, 2007
[00:05:18] A terrible bill and caused great harm
[00:05:20] At Virginia Tech
[00:05:21] Taking lives as 32 innocent souls
[00:05:23] And wounding 17 others
[00:05:25] This tragic day reminded us
[00:05:27] Of the importance of kindness
[00:05:29] And the need to protect our cherished homes
[00:05:31] And loved ones
[00:05:32] The launch of my iPhone
[00:05:33] Oh, how magical it was
[00:05:35] When Apple unveiled a wondrous device
[00:05:38] The iPhone
[00:05:40] A delightful combination of a mobile phone
[00:05:42] Music player and internet device
[00:05:44] Enchanted the world
[00:05:46] And changed the way we communicate
[00:05:48] And share our dreams
[00:05:50] The global financial crisis beginning
[00:05:52] Once upon a time in 2007
[00:05:54] Dark clouds gathered over the kingdom's economy
[00:05:57] The housing market falter
[00:06:00] And many good people faced hardships
[00:06:02] As financial institutions began to crumble
[00:06:05] But not the banks
[00:06:07] Because they just printed themselves
[00:06:09] Out of the problem
[00:06:11] Inflation
[00:06:13] And you know, I don't know if you did it on purpose
[00:06:15] But my single least favorite form of communication
[00:06:18] Is that
[00:06:20] Like, it's a Disney mom
[00:06:22] With their response
[00:06:24] I'm so magically excited
[00:06:26] That you're having a wonderful vacation
[00:06:28] To the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida
[00:06:30] Just say hello
[00:06:32] I'm gonna engage with that
[00:06:33] But by the way, I know Landslide isn't Bowie
[00:06:35] But there's a connection to it in the Diamond Dogs
[00:06:38] Stay tuned
[00:06:40] Yeah, Diamond Dogs episode
[00:06:42] Anyway, yes, I completely agree with you
[00:06:44] And when I was at Disneyland last weekend
[00:06:47] I was trying to get like
[00:06:50] A question answered
[00:06:52] And I forget what the question was
[00:06:54] It was something...
[00:06:55] I was indy down right now
[00:06:56] No, it was like a reasonable question
[00:06:58] And I think it was like
[00:07:00] I went to the
[00:07:02] Boardwalk bar over at the Lamplight
[00:07:05] And I was like, hey, maybe there's like
[00:07:07] Just an open seat at the bar
[00:07:09] Because I'm just one person, you know
[00:07:11] And I went to them and I'm just like
[00:07:13] Hey, what are the odds that like
[00:07:15] If there's a seat that opens up at the bar
[00:07:17] That like a person could go there
[00:07:19] And they gave...
[00:07:20] They said like
[00:07:21] Unfortunately, the Lamplight lounge
[00:07:23] Is reserved seating only
[00:07:25] And if you would like to join our waiting list
[00:07:27] You can look at the My Disney Experience app
[00:07:30] Like, you know, that canned customer service answer
[00:07:33] And I was just like
[00:07:35] Okay, so
[00:07:38] The way I'm understanding that answer
[00:07:40] Is that it's not...
[00:07:42] It's just not possible
[00:07:43] And I'm fine with this
[00:07:44] I'm just trying to get clarity
[00:07:46] It's just not a possibility for just a single person
[00:07:49] If there's an open seat to just like
[00:07:51] Go in
[00:07:53] And they're like
[00:07:54] Unfortunately, it's reserved seating only
[00:07:56] And they're just like, oh my god
[00:07:58] Can you not just answer a question
[00:08:00] Like I'm not being combative
[00:08:02] I'm not upset
[00:08:04] Just say like
[00:08:05] Yeah, you understood that correctly
[00:08:07] You know, like
[00:08:11] Yikes
[00:08:12] Yeah, I get it
[00:08:13] You know, like I appreciate
[00:08:15] Story and I appreciate the escape
[00:08:17] Like, hey
[00:08:18] When is the ride coming back on
[00:08:20] Well, Indiana Jones is fighting some
[00:08:22] Whatever
[00:08:23] Right
[00:08:24] I appreciate that
[00:08:25] But when it comes to something as simple
[00:08:27] As can I get a damn seat
[00:08:28] Like
[00:08:29] Right
[00:08:30] Sorry
[00:08:31] You can go to the app
[00:08:32] Or just like
[00:08:34] Or maybe an answer could be
[00:08:36] Like, yeah, I know we've done that before
[00:08:38] But we changed it and you can't do that anymore
[00:08:40] And I'm really sorry
[00:08:41] You know
[00:08:42] Downtown Disney has plenty of open seats
[00:08:44] You're drunk
[00:08:49] Here's the number for 34
[00:08:51] Well, Jimmy, if you like story
[00:08:54] You must have really hated this
[00:09:04] Yeah
[00:09:05] Audrey, what do you think is going to happen
[00:09:07] Let me tell you
[00:09:09] Alright
[00:09:10] Cinderella 3
[00:09:12] Cindy becomes jaded
[00:09:14] By living with Prince Charming
[00:09:16] And needs to go back to her roots
[00:09:18] She's still Cindy from the Cinder block
[00:09:21] Get it
[00:09:22] Cindy from the block
[00:09:24] I love it
[00:09:25] She uncovers that the kingdom has been exploiting people
[00:09:27] And creating laws just to find them guilty
[00:09:29] Like, from
[00:09:30] I just finished reading Alice's Shrugged
[00:09:32] And
[00:09:34] I'm sorry
[00:09:35] The biggest line
[00:09:37] The biggest line in that book is like
[00:09:39] I will break the motor of this world
[00:09:41] So the Prince says
[00:09:43] Or Cindy says
[00:09:44] I'm not quite sure who's going to say
[00:09:46] The pivotal line
[00:09:48] But the line is
[00:09:49] I will break the glass slipper of this world
[00:09:55] Yeah
[00:09:56] It's going to be so good, you guys
[00:09:57] We're going to cast
[00:09:58] Who's going to play the Prince?
[00:10:02] I don't know yet
[00:10:04] But the Princess will be played by Ariana Grande
[00:10:08] Yeah, that's right
[00:10:10] I'm so...
[00:10:12] I'm just...
[00:10:16] I'm so sorry
[00:10:21] Yeah
[00:10:24] Pretty good, I was close
[00:10:26] It's good, I think you were
[00:10:29] Dan?
[00:10:30] Yeah
[00:10:31] This... Let's just set the tone, frame
[00:10:34] Whatever for everybody
[00:10:36] This movie, ultimately, for me
[00:10:38] Is the catalyst for this podcast
[00:10:42] This is sort of...
[00:10:44] It is kind of the catalyst for this podcast
[00:10:46] So to me, everything has been building up
[00:10:48] To this movie
[00:10:49] And for our...
[00:10:51] If I remember correctly
[00:10:52] Sorry, I stepped on you
[00:10:53] But if I remember correctly
[00:10:55] When we were talking about
[00:10:57] Doing the show originally
[00:10:59] You and I were like
[00:11:01] Well, I don't know
[00:11:03] I mean, it's a cute idea
[00:11:04] I don't know how ridiculous does it get
[00:11:06] And then I think it was you
[00:11:08] That said like
[00:11:09] There's a movie about time travel
[00:11:13] It was like, okay, I'm in
[00:11:15] Possibly more than one
[00:11:16] But we saw this movie together
[00:11:18] I do not remember one frame of this movie
[00:11:21] At all
[00:11:22] We actually saw Cinderella 2 together
[00:11:24] Did we?
[00:11:25] We did
[00:11:26] So maybe I've never seen this
[00:11:28] But it is sort of the catalyst for the podcast
[00:11:30] And to my mind, everything's been leading up
[00:11:32] To this episode, this movie
[00:11:34] Now that being said
[00:11:36] Because this is, for all intents and purposes
[00:11:38] The end of scraping the vault as we know it
[00:11:41] Outside of the Tinkerverse
[00:11:42] Outside of the Tinkerverse
[00:11:43] Everything else is just Tinkerbell
[00:11:45] It's sort of just tacked on
[00:11:47] Because technically...
[00:11:49] Well anyway, so this is kind of
[00:11:51] The end of the scraping the vault origin story
[00:11:54] Our finale episode?
[00:11:56] Well, I have an idea
[00:11:59] I have an idea for Tinkerverse
[00:12:01] That I want to cover at the end of this episode
[00:12:03] Tinkerverse and then Audrey
[00:12:05] We are going to the
[00:12:07] Live remakes
[00:12:09] Oh no
[00:12:11] Original animation
[00:12:13] We already did 101 Dalmatians
[00:12:15] Uh huh
[00:12:16] And then we're gonna go to all the live remakes
[00:12:18] The Jungle Books, the Lion Kings, etc, etc
[00:12:21] Oh no
[00:12:23] All those live animals and the Lion King
[00:12:27] That's right
[00:12:28] Because this was the last movie
[00:12:31] That got released on VHS, is that why?
[00:12:34] No, it's because the rest of the straight to video
[00:12:37] Sequels quote unquote are all Tinkerbell
[00:12:39] And then after that they're done
[00:12:41] Now they don't do straight to video sequels anymore
[00:12:43] They go straight to theaters
[00:12:45] And then straight to streaming
[00:12:47] Yeah
[00:12:48] I think Tinkerbell gets by on a technicality
[00:12:51] Because it really is just a cash in
[00:12:54] But technically it's a sequel
[00:12:57] But we're gonna watch Tinkerbell
[00:13:00] I'm excited
[00:13:01] I'm gonna make sure you don't forget
[00:13:04] The clock has struck 12
[00:13:06] On the scraping the vault
[00:13:08] That's right
[00:13:09] Story
[00:13:10] As you know it
[00:13:11] Just this chapter
[00:13:14] Bibbidi-bobbidi book closed
[00:13:17] Oh by the way, back to that whole annoyance thing
[00:13:20] Every time I get a confirmation from a concierge client
[00:13:24] From Disney
[00:13:25] It says Bibbidi-bobbidi booked
[00:13:27] Oh my gosh
[00:13:30] At some point you can just say things
[00:13:34] Reservation confirmed
[00:13:36] Right
[00:13:37] I would almost, I kind of respect the magic and story
[00:13:42] A little bit more if it's just like
[00:13:44] Yeah, okay cool
[00:13:45] When you get here it will be magic
[00:13:47] But right now your credit card has been approved
[00:13:52] It's like a welcome home thing
[00:13:54] Like welcome home
[00:13:55] Like at the vacation clubs and stuff
[00:13:57] Like I don't know
[00:13:58] I appreciate it, I'm whatever anyway
[00:14:01] Dan
[00:14:02] I appreciate the idea it feels empty to me
[00:14:04] Have a magical day
[00:14:07] So okay
[00:14:09] This movie
[00:14:12] Was it the best straight to videos sequel?
[00:14:16] I thought it was fairly good
[00:14:18] I think it was the best
[00:14:21] I had no notes
[00:14:23] I have no notes
[00:14:24] I think you're both crazy
[00:14:26] Listen Dan
[00:14:27] Let's take Princess Mononoke
[00:14:30] Let's take Princess Mononoke out of it
[00:14:32] Let's take your David Lynch, Steven Lynch
[00:14:34] I still think about it
[00:14:35] Whatever it is Lynch
[00:14:37] Take Mulholland Madness out of this
[00:14:40] Of all the movie sequels
[00:14:43] We used to rank them by the way a long time ago
[00:14:45] I think this is the best
[00:14:47] Okay return to the Jafar may be the best
[00:14:51] This is top
[00:14:53] This is up there for me
[00:14:56] It kept my attention
[00:14:58] That's what I'm saying
[00:15:00] It has schlock value
[00:15:01] I'll get at that
[00:15:03] They have voice talent
[00:15:05] Good animation quality
[00:15:07] They did a good job trying to mimic the 1950
[00:15:09] Did you watch the first part of this movie?
[00:15:11] Not good animation
[00:15:13] They did a good job trying to imitate the 1950 classic
[00:15:19] Compared to the rest
[00:15:21] It was consistent style wise with the old one
[00:15:24] Yeah for sure
[00:15:25] That's what I'm saying
[00:15:28] I'm just saying
[00:15:29] I mean sure
[00:15:31] The voice talent was really good
[00:15:33] They did a good job
[00:15:34] The voice talent is fine
[00:15:35] I think that
[00:15:36] Okay yeah I guess we can give it a pass
[00:15:39] In that animation style
[00:15:42] They probably looked at it and they're like
[00:15:44] Hey you look how like smushed
[00:15:46] And flat everything looks
[00:15:48] That's as cheap as hell
[00:15:49] We could totally do that
[00:15:51] Was it hand drawn?
[00:15:53] No probably
[00:15:55] I don't know who knows
[00:15:57] I feel like some
[00:15:58] Especially towards the beginning
[00:16:00] I will be fair
[00:16:01] When the animation looks good
[00:16:03] It looks very good
[00:16:04] But there are moments where it's just like
[00:16:07] I think I'm watching
[00:16:09] Like
[00:16:10] Something through as a cable filter on another
[00:16:13] Like it just doesn't look good
[00:16:15] There are frames that are skipped
[00:16:18] It's like
[00:16:20] The quality is bad
[00:16:22] Okay but it wasn't the Australian studio anymore
[00:16:24] Australian studio
[00:16:27] Well for a long time
[00:16:28] When these movies were made in Australia
[00:16:30] Wow crikey
[00:16:32] I bet our friends Cheryl and Sheila
[00:16:35] Would have something to say about this
[00:16:37] You sound cool
[00:16:38] One of them
[00:16:39] I've been working on my accent
[00:16:43] So okay one criticism
[00:16:45] If you're gonna make a musical
[00:16:47] Make a f***ing musical
[00:16:50] Yeah
[00:16:51] Where's the big numbers
[00:16:55] It starts with a musical number
[00:16:57] Which was not a bad song
[00:16:58] But if you're gonna make a musical
[00:17:00] You too much Cinderella 3
[00:17:02] Yeah
[00:17:04] On Disney Plus
[00:17:06] Twisted time
[00:17:08] Were you high?
[00:17:09] When you watched it
[00:17:10] No I was fairly caffeinated
[00:17:13] But that doesn't
[00:17:16] I had just dropped my family off
[00:17:18] For four days so I was feeling pretty good
[00:17:20] That expanded
[00:17:21] That's it
[00:17:22] Emotionally high
[00:17:27] The time
[00:17:29] Time travel
[00:17:32] Okay first of all
[00:17:33] No it's not time travel Dan
[00:17:35] It's magic
[00:17:36] Dumber
[00:17:37] Yeah okay
[00:17:38] When you have magic that can like
[00:17:40] Alter time and space
[00:17:43] You just turn your daughter into a princess
[00:17:45] And you make that movie
[00:17:47] Because that's funnier and more interesting
[00:17:49] She did
[00:17:50] Good point
[00:17:51] No
[00:17:52] In the most indirect way
[00:17:54] Here's the thing
[00:17:55] This movie could have been
[00:17:57] Hilarious and wonderful
[00:17:59] And really like
[00:18:01] Embrace the idea of
[00:18:03] What a Disney sequel could be
[00:18:05] If they would only stop at some point
[00:18:07] In the writer's room and go
[00:18:09] Okay hold on
[00:18:10] Mrs. Tremaine
[00:18:11] Madame Tremaine
[00:18:12] Whatever her name is
[00:18:13] If that's even her name
[00:18:14] Lady Tremaine
[00:18:15] No Lady Tremaine
[00:18:16] No Lady Tremaine
[00:18:17] According to me
[00:18:18] She's only
[00:18:20] Her daughters don't care about the prince
[00:18:22] She doesn't care about the prince
[00:18:24] They just want the status
[00:18:26] They want the cloud
[00:18:27] So wouldn't it be great if
[00:18:29] Okay and I'm not even getting into
[00:18:31] The problem with it just being
[00:18:33] The wand yet
[00:18:34] I'm going to
[00:18:35] But
[00:18:36] They get this
[00:18:37] Access to the
[00:18:38] Great magical power
[00:18:40] So instead of
[00:18:43] Doing this roundabout
[00:18:45] Crap where it's just like
[00:18:47] And then he's going to fall in love with you
[00:18:49] And we're going to manipulate
[00:18:50] All these different things
[00:18:51] Just make her a princess
[00:18:53] And make the entire sequel
[00:18:55] Ascend up on Disney princesses
[00:18:57] With this disgusting family
[00:18:59] Who has no class
[00:19:01] And no ethics
[00:19:02] And just show what
[00:19:04] Like the inverse of a Disney princess movie
[00:19:06] Would be through the lens
[00:19:08] Of this conceit
[00:19:11] Better movie
[00:19:12] Well okay so
[00:19:13] Little mermaid
[00:19:14] Right
[00:19:15] The witch
[00:19:17] Ursula
[00:19:18] The sea witch turns herself into a princess
[00:19:20] And hypnotizes the prince
[00:19:22] Same actor
[00:19:23] You don't even need the prince
[00:19:25] Just like in fact
[00:19:27] Turn this family
[00:19:29] Like have this be this like
[00:19:31] Parallel princess universe
[00:19:33] Cinderella is still a princess
[00:19:35] But like whatever
[00:19:36] We have access to magic now
[00:19:38] We can make our family
[00:19:40] A princess royal family
[00:19:42] And let's see how that goes
[00:19:43] Let's see how this
[00:19:44] Observe family
[00:19:46] You gotta have Cinderella though
[00:19:47] You gotta have the mice
[00:19:48] Yeah she's still there
[00:19:49] She's still there
[00:19:50] Like you could tell a parallel story
[00:19:52] Of like here's this normal
[00:19:54] Princess life
[00:19:56] And then cut to
[00:19:58] Okay now here's princess Anastasia
[00:20:00] Who's like throwing stuff
[00:20:01] Against the wall constantly
[00:20:03] And they and they
[00:20:05] What would a prince be in that world
[00:20:07] Just this big ass doofus
[00:20:10] Their lady
[00:20:11] Remains whole thing as she's vindictive
[00:20:13] That the reason that she wouldn't just
[00:20:15] Poof themselves into royalties
[00:20:17] Because they want to make
[00:20:19] Cinderella's life a living hell
[00:20:21] But they can embarrass her
[00:20:23] By like doing being
[00:20:25] A Disney princess better
[00:20:27] Without actually saying those words
[00:20:29] But that's kind of
[00:20:30] That would be the joke
[00:20:32] But they kind of did
[00:20:34] She turned her daughter into a princess
[00:20:36] No idea what you people are talking about
[00:20:38] She turned her daughter into a princess
[00:20:40] By hypnotizing the prince
[00:20:41] It worked in little mermaid again
[00:20:43] The same actor was hypnotized by a witch
[00:20:47] Who was posing as this girl
[00:20:50] He thought he was in love with
[00:20:51] Wait a minute
[00:20:52] This is just little mermaid again
[00:20:54] Uh huh
[00:20:55] Same actor
[00:20:56] A witch of sorts
[00:20:58] Uses magic to confuse this guy
[00:21:01] Into being the person that he thought
[00:21:03] He thought he was in love with
[00:21:05] Whoa
[00:21:06] Everyone's a whole lot
[00:21:07] This movie is terrible
[00:21:09] Alright from Wikipedia Dan
[00:21:11] Wikipedia
[00:21:12] Ready?
[00:21:13] Cinderella 3 at Twist in Time
[00:21:14] Was released direct to video
[00:21:15] On February 6, 2007
[00:21:17] Unlike most of Disney's
[00:21:18] Direct to video sequels
[00:21:19] It received generally positive reviews
[00:21:21] From critics
[00:21:22] Who deemed it a vast improvement
[00:21:24] This is just bad movies
[00:21:26] A vast improvement
[00:21:27] Over its immediate predecessor
[00:21:29] And praised the character developments
[00:21:31] In Cinderella the Prince
[00:21:32] In Anastasia Cinderella
[00:21:33] 3 at Twist in Time
[00:21:34] Has grossed nearly $93 million
[00:21:36] Okay look
[00:21:37] As a show of good faith
[00:21:38] That I'm not just doing the thing
[00:21:41] That people think I do
[00:21:42] By the way
[00:21:43] Yeah I'm
[00:21:44] This is a character
[00:21:45] I love the Beatles
[00:21:46] Okay whatever
[00:21:47] Wait what?
[00:21:49] Dan
[00:21:50] It's something I always say
[00:21:52] You love the Beatles?
[00:21:54] Okay here we go
[00:21:57] This is the thing that bothers me
[00:22:00] About reactions to
[00:22:02] My reactions to these things
[00:22:04] Is people automatically think
[00:22:06] He just hates everything
[00:22:08] And there's no possible way
[00:22:10] A person could have any kind of standard
[00:22:13] Or whatever
[00:22:14] Or a strong opinion
[00:22:15] Just like
[00:22:16] Oh how
[00:22:17] Yeah it's so funny
[00:22:18] You hate Boba
[00:22:19] It's like
[00:22:20] No this is
[00:22:21] It's not even like
[00:22:22] Anger or hatred
[00:22:23] It's disappointment
[00:22:24] This company can do better
[00:22:27] And they have
[00:22:29] What standard are you holding it against?
[00:22:32] Their own standard
[00:22:34] The
[00:22:35] What
[00:22:36] Yeah don't make the
[00:22:38] Sequels
[00:22:39] Under the conceit that they're making the sequels
[00:22:42] Can't you look at it under that lens?
[00:22:44] I refuse to give into that conceit
[00:22:46] Because that is a cheapening of
[00:22:49] The standard of the thing
[00:22:51] That shouldn't have been cheapened in the first place
[00:22:54] That's my whole point
[00:22:55] I have a quote from one Mr. Dan
[00:22:58] Yes
[00:22:59] I have C. Linklidder
[00:23:01] I have so many thoughts
[00:23:02] Some of them aren't negative
[00:23:04] Here we go
[00:23:05] And here is my good faith
[00:23:08] Offer to show that
[00:23:10] I'm not just trying to hate these movies
[00:23:12] Second half when things start taking a turn
[00:23:15] And like they have the potential
[00:23:17] To get really dark
[00:23:18] I kind of liked that
[00:23:20] And I thought it was interesting
[00:23:21] And I thought that the turn of
[00:23:24] The Anastasia's character
[00:23:26] And having agency somewhere towards the end
[00:23:28] Got really interesting
[00:23:30] And I thought it was even
[00:23:32] Kind of moving and touching
[00:23:34] However, do they tie it up
[00:23:36] By giving her a love interest at the end
[00:23:38] When they clearly should have and could have
[00:23:40] And there was an opening for it
[00:23:42] Why does a woman need to have a love interest Dan?
[00:23:44] Why does she need to have a man
[00:23:46] Because who is she going to cook for?
[00:23:48] And
[00:23:51] Women and women be compliment each other
[00:23:54] Because how else are they going to raise children?
[00:23:59] Here's what I thought
[00:24:01] That I kind of did it for
[00:24:02] Don't even write in
[00:24:03] I was a joke
[00:24:06] Here's what I kind of want to ding it for a little bit
[00:24:08] I thought it would have been interesting
[00:24:10] As long as we're in the conceit of
[00:24:12] I can wave my wand
[00:24:14] By the way, come up with a different magic word
[00:24:16] Why does it always have to be bbbbdbbbb
[00:24:18] Anyway
[00:24:19] And by the way, that reduces
[00:24:21] The fairy godmother to it
[00:24:24] Yeah, she could be anybody
[00:24:25] As long as she has a stick
[00:24:26] Right?
[00:24:27] So stupid
[00:24:28] Okay
[00:24:29] Alright, but if Lady Tremaine
[00:24:31] Like she does the thing
[00:24:32] Reverse it everything
[00:24:34] It's a reverse, right?
[00:24:35] Back in time, fine
[00:24:36] Accepted
[00:24:37] Just kill Cinderella
[00:24:39] Well, okay, fine
[00:24:40] Let's not go that dark
[00:24:41] But what I was going to say was
[00:24:43] If you have the thing
[00:24:45] And then it like she
[00:24:46] Big cake
[00:24:47] And there's mess everywhere
[00:24:49] And she makes a mistake
[00:24:50] I'll do it again
[00:24:51] Like Groundhog Day this
[00:24:53] Right?
[00:24:54] Like, oh let me try that again
[00:24:55] That would have been interesting
[00:24:56] To make the different choices
[00:24:57] That would have been funny
[00:24:58] You know, I'm in funny
[00:24:59] Like, oh crap, not again
[00:25:00] And you go back and kind of reboot
[00:25:02] Yeah, there were several places
[00:25:04] Where this could have been
[00:25:06] Actually a very funny
[00:25:08] Interesting, clever movie
[00:25:10] They're not going for funny
[00:25:11] This is a masterpiece
[00:25:12] Why not?
[00:25:13] Well, it's a sacred
[00:25:15] They're not going for funny
[00:25:16] It's a sacred masterpiece
[00:25:18] Of Cinderella
[00:25:19] Cinderella
[00:25:20] They have a mouse
[00:25:21] That makes a Tarzan sound
[00:25:22] As he swings along on hot dogs
[00:25:24] Fine
[00:25:25] Okay, wait
[00:25:26] I missed that part
[00:25:27] Let's let Audrey talk
[00:25:28] I feel like they made it
[00:25:30] It's a funny movie
[00:25:31] They made it too funny
[00:25:32] Because I think the original
[00:25:33] Cinderella is even more romantic
[00:25:35] There's a lot
[00:25:36] And there's like some
[00:25:37] There's some humor
[00:25:38] But not like the whole
[00:25:39] Injoki thing
[00:25:40] Like, oh nice musical number
[00:25:42] By the way
[00:25:44] Wink
[00:25:45] And movies just get
[00:25:46] More and more like that
[00:25:48] As they as we get closer
[00:25:50] Self-referential
[00:25:51] Modern times
[00:25:52] Yeah, there's nothing just
[00:25:54] Yeah
[00:25:56] This is like
[00:25:57] 2007 was the start of it
[00:25:59] Where they just started
[00:26:00] Even more like
[00:26:01] Oh, some marmy in-joke
[00:26:04] You know
[00:26:06] When you have it
[00:26:07] Yes, and I agree Audrey
[00:26:08] And when you have a 60 minute
[00:26:09] Run time
[00:26:10] It feels like everything
[00:26:11] You're doing
[00:26:13] Is taking a lot of time
[00:26:14] And I noticed
[00:26:15] Like there's some Tom and Jerry
[00:26:16] Moments with like
[00:26:18] Lucifer and the mice
[00:26:19] And they're circling around
[00:26:20] And then one gets pulled in
[00:26:21] And pull that
[00:26:22] So it's like
[00:26:23] You're just wasting time
[00:26:24] We're not continuing the plot
[00:26:25] Anyway
[00:26:26] What are you trying to do here?
[00:26:28] I mean, I appeal to children
[00:26:29] But what I want to say
[00:26:31] As an overall thesis
[00:26:32] Of this story Dan
[00:26:34] Is the point they're trying
[00:26:35] To make
[00:26:36] I think probably
[00:26:37] Not as effective
[00:26:38] As they should
[00:26:40] This love
[00:26:42] Was meant to be
[00:26:43] Doesn't matter what you do
[00:26:44] Use magic
[00:26:45] Change time
[00:26:46] Whatever this thing was meant to be
[00:26:48] That's what they're trying to do
[00:26:49] Love is the most powerful
[00:26:50] Magic of all
[00:26:51] We all know this
[00:26:52] Yeah, it's seashells, etc
[00:26:54] It's not that I didn't get that
[00:26:56] It's just
[00:26:59] The movie sucks
[00:27:00] Okay, so
[00:27:01] But back to the point
[00:27:03] If we're trying to make the point
[00:27:05] That this love is going to be
[00:27:06] No matter what
[00:27:08] Then going back
[00:27:09] And groundhog daying the thing
[00:27:11] Trying to make it
[00:27:12] And then
[00:27:13] Yeah, and then at the end
[00:27:14] They still end up together
[00:27:15] Doesn't matter what you do
[00:27:16] They're going to end up together
[00:27:17] Honestly, if they
[00:27:18] If they made that movie
[00:27:20] I would probably love it
[00:27:22] Sorry, Audrey
[00:27:23] I talked over you again
[00:27:24] I'm doing that a lot
[00:27:25] This episode
[00:27:26] That's okay
[00:27:28] So did you skip right to
[00:27:30] Medieval times or?
[00:27:31] Yeah, let's go
[00:27:32] Let's go
[00:27:33] Let's go over the plot
[00:27:35] Alright, here we go
[00:27:37] I've recently acquired
[00:27:38] A new movie
[00:27:39] I've recently acquired
[00:27:40] A gestures costume
[00:27:41] Should I wear that to medieval times?
[00:27:43] Yes, yes
[00:27:45] You're not allowed
[00:27:46] Unless you do
[00:27:48] Backstory listener
[00:27:49] We are going to medieval times
[00:27:51] Together and we are going to
[00:27:52] Not in the same day
[00:27:54] That same day
[00:27:55] And we're going to get
[00:27:56] All you can eat
[00:27:57] And we're going to get
[00:27:58] Front of the line
[00:28:00] I just transferred
[00:28:01] Some drinks
[00:28:02] Drinking money
[00:28:03] That I saved
[00:28:04] That I've been saving
[00:28:05] Transferred over
[00:28:06] So I could spend like
[00:28:07] A drunk
[00:28:08] That I want
[00:28:09] Okay, so guys
[00:28:10] Here's the thing
[00:28:11] It's been a year
[00:28:13] Since Cinderella
[00:28:15] Married her royal prince
[00:28:18] Both of them
[00:28:19] Head to the forest
[00:28:20] They're singing a lovely song
[00:28:21] It's a perfectly perfect day
[00:28:23] How did she not get pregnant already?
[00:28:25] Like shouldn't they have
[00:28:26] Consummated the marriage
[00:28:28] Audrey, it's been a year
[00:28:29] Their child is three months old
[00:28:32] Okay, where's the kid though
[00:28:33] We don't see it
[00:28:35] Audrey, Audrey
[00:28:36] They're rich
[00:28:37] Somebody's taking care of it
[00:28:38] Okay, well the kingdom needs an heir
[00:28:40] All right
[00:28:41] And if you're going to get married
[00:28:42] To the prince
[00:28:43] You have royal duties
[00:28:44] And that is producing offspring
[00:28:47] Well come on Cinderella
[00:28:48] Chop chop
[00:28:49] Everyone's watching
[00:28:51] Shush
[00:28:54] Okay, so
[00:28:55] It's the song is perfectly perfect
[00:28:58] Having a perfectly perfect life
[00:29:00] I did not like this
[00:29:02] It was too perfect
[00:29:03] I thought it was perfect
[00:29:04] It was too perfect
[00:29:05] I thought it was a nice place
[00:29:08] A table setting
[00:29:09] I guess so
[00:29:10] And I found it ironic
[00:29:12] That they were singing this
[00:29:13] Perfectly perfect song
[00:29:15] Whether it's like
[00:29:16] Hannah Barbera as animation
[00:29:18] Right in front of me
[00:29:20] But perfectly perfect
[00:29:22] It is an overture of sorts
[00:29:24] And it's explaining
[00:29:25] It's been a year
[00:29:26] It's been a great year
[00:29:28] So basically we're saying
[00:29:29] Hey, it's been a year
[00:29:30] It's our anniversary
[00:29:31] And during that song
[00:29:32] Along comes Anastasia
[00:29:33] And Drizella
[00:29:34] Who are singing now
[00:29:35] They've taken over Cinderella's duties
[00:29:39] Cleaning there in the new Cinderella's
[00:29:42] They don't like it
[00:29:43] Somehow more messy
[00:29:45] Yes
[00:29:46] Lady Tremay has a lot of dishes
[00:29:47] She is awful
[00:29:48] There are so many dishes
[00:29:50] There are dishes piled up
[00:29:51] All around the kitchen
[00:29:53] Like there's so many
[00:29:54] And there's only three of them
[00:29:55] In that house
[00:29:57] As far as we know
[00:29:59] As someone who runs
[00:30:00] A dishwashing Instagram account
[00:30:03] I can totally understand why
[00:30:04] There are so many dishes
[00:30:06] You have to
[00:30:07] So many people keep
[00:30:09] Anyway, I don't actually run this account
[00:30:11] Yet
[00:30:12] But I get it
[00:30:13] I get why there's so many dishes
[00:30:14] But how does Lady Tremay get this way?
[00:30:16] You're one person
[00:30:17] And imagine how many dishes you make
[00:30:19] Imagine if you have three people
[00:30:20] That's triple the dishes
[00:30:22] Jesus
[00:30:26] Why don't they make a Cruella
[00:30:29] But call it Tremay
[00:30:30] And cast Emma Stone as Lady Tremay
[00:30:33] Like how did she get to be so
[00:30:35] Truly awful
[00:30:36] Angry
[00:30:38] Because she is the descendant
[00:30:39] Of Maleficent, duh
[00:30:41] No
[00:30:42] But I just threw that out there
[00:30:43] Maleficent
[00:30:44] I think there was
[00:30:46] Haven't seen it
[00:30:47] Is it good?
[00:30:48] Maleficent
[00:30:49] The movie is no
[00:30:50] No, it's awful
[00:30:51] It's again
[00:30:52] It's one of those things
[00:30:53] That this either it's
[00:30:54] Disney or Generation
[00:30:55] Or the Disney
[00:30:56] Or the Disney
[00:30:57] Or the Disney
[00:30:58] Or the Disney
[00:30:59] Or it's Disney or Generationally
[00:31:00] Whatever
[00:31:01] It is
[00:31:02] It's basically saying that
[00:31:03] The fairy godmothers from Sleeping Beauty
[00:31:05] Were morons
[00:31:07] And it was actually Maleficent
[00:31:08] Who raised Sleeping Beauty
[00:31:10] But played the villain like Wicked
[00:31:13] The musical Wicked
[00:31:15] Or the Wicked Step
[00:31:16] Or the Wicked Witch of the East
[00:31:17] Is actually the good one
[00:31:20] And plays the role
[00:31:21] Of the bad one
[00:31:23] You know
[00:31:24] Anyway
[00:31:25] Wicked comes out this fall
[00:31:27] It looks pretty bad
[00:31:28] Anyway, so
[00:31:29] Yenestasia
[00:31:31] Somehow manages to
[00:31:32] Follow the prince in Cinderella
[00:31:34] Into the woods
[00:31:36] And the fairy godmother
[00:31:37] And the rats
[00:31:38] And everybody
[00:31:39] They're throwing them a big
[00:31:40] One year anniversary
[00:31:41] It's grandmother
[00:31:42] It is
[00:31:46] Fairy godmother is just
[00:31:48] An employee at this point
[00:31:50] That's right
[00:31:51] Just like
[00:31:52] Yeah
[00:31:53] I'll make you another cake
[00:31:54] Because that's what I do
[00:31:56] She's part of the story
[00:31:58] Forget that I was the symbolic
[00:32:02] Gesture of hope
[00:32:03] And a hopeless story
[00:32:04] That like
[00:32:05] You had no maternal figure at all
[00:32:08] And you had to imagine one
[00:32:09] And that's who I was
[00:32:11] It's like the genie
[00:32:12] Like this is her fairy godmother
[00:32:14] And that just
[00:32:15] Is her employee now
[00:32:17] Yeah
[00:32:18] But
[00:32:19] They're both blue
[00:32:21] See
[00:32:22] The fairy godmother
[00:32:23] Is the genie
[00:32:25] Yep
[00:32:27] Yeah
[00:32:28] But the genie wasn't like
[00:32:30] A stand in narratively
[00:32:32] For like
[00:32:33] A resolution to the neglect
[00:32:35] That our main character
[00:32:37] Has felt their entire lives
[00:32:39] Yeah, that's true
[00:32:40] Anyway, so she's an employee
[00:32:42] But the thing is as we had
[00:32:44] The aforementioned or how
[00:32:46] We intimated before
[00:32:47] Is that she's just a
[00:32:48] Rube with a stick
[00:32:50] Anybody can be a fairy godmother
[00:32:52] If they have the magic wand
[00:32:53] Which again is
[00:32:55] Slightly damaging to the impacts
[00:32:57] The narrative impact that the character had
[00:32:59] In the original story
[00:33:01] In which they, you know
[00:33:02] Symbolize the hope
[00:33:04] And everything that
[00:33:06] The main character was denied
[00:33:08] Their entire lives
[00:33:10] Well good news Dan
[00:33:11] She goes away for the rest of the movie
[00:33:12] Go ahead
[00:33:13] I'll get to this
[00:33:14] When we get to Lady Tremaine
[00:33:17] Obtaining the wand
[00:33:19] Okay
[00:33:20] Alright so we're there
[00:33:21] Anastasia returned home
[00:33:23] Quickly with the wand
[00:33:24] The fairy godmother dropped
[00:33:25] When she was doing the happily ever after
[00:33:27] And she shows it to her mom and sister
[00:33:29] And both of them think
[00:33:31] It's like hey what are you
[00:33:32] It's a stick
[00:33:33] Whatever
[00:33:34] Whatever
[00:33:35] You've lost your mind
[00:33:36] And the fairy godmother then
[00:33:38] Hey she comes
[00:33:39] She's like hey I want my wand back
[00:33:41] And accidentally
[00:33:43] Because without it
[00:33:44] I serve no purpose
[00:33:45] I have no purpose
[00:33:46] I have no function
[00:33:47] Can't do anything without a wand
[00:33:48] And Anastasia is like
[00:33:50] The wand score is closed
[00:33:52] Well
[00:33:53] All Xander
[00:33:55] All Xander is
[00:33:56] He's probably dead by now
[00:33:57] Anyway
[00:33:59] So
[00:34:00] Anastasia turns the fairy godmother
[00:34:02] Into a statue
[00:34:03] By accident
[00:34:06] Right
[00:34:07] And Lady Tremaine is like
[00:34:08] Ooh that's all it takes
[00:34:10] And then she's like
[00:34:11] I'm gonna
[00:34:12] Return back time
[00:34:14] And Cher comes out
[00:34:17] Yeah
[00:34:18] And some do Cinderella's happily ever after
[00:34:20] Go ahead Audrey
[00:34:21] I don't think that she would
[00:34:24] She'd say something like
[00:34:25] That's poppycock
[00:34:27] No one can do magic
[00:34:28] This is stupid
[00:34:30] I'm a muggle
[00:34:32] I can't
[00:34:33] I don't believe in magic
[00:34:34] Thank you
[00:34:35] Thank you Audrey for going there
[00:34:36] Like
[00:34:38] How
[00:34:39] Yeah
[00:34:40] Tremaine
[00:34:41] Oh she went right there
[00:34:42] Because she's an ancestor
[00:34:43] Of Maleficent
[00:34:44] Duh
[00:34:45] Ah
[00:34:46] Okay
[00:34:47] She knows magic exists
[00:34:50] Same actress
[00:34:51] Anyway
[00:34:52] I agree
[00:34:53] I think it would
[00:34:54] Okay
[00:34:55] Assuming we go with the trajectory
[00:34:57] That the movie already has
[00:34:58] Which is stupid
[00:35:01] I think that it would have been
[00:35:02] More interesting
[00:35:03] If Lady Tremaine has
[00:35:05] At least like
[00:35:07] Three hours
[00:35:08] To consider whether it's
[00:35:10] Whether this magic thing is actually
[00:35:12] No this is mere seconds
[00:35:13] Mere seconds
[00:35:14] Mere seconds
[00:35:15] Because she sees her
[00:35:16] Stupid ass daughter
[00:35:17] Turn this
[00:35:18] Magical being into a statue
[00:35:20] With a flick of the wrist
[00:35:21] So it's like
[00:35:22] Yeah I can do that
[00:35:23] And her first thing is
[00:35:25] Go ahead Dan
[00:35:26] Yeah the very first thing she does
[00:35:27] Is not
[00:35:29] I'm gonna give myself a bunch of money
[00:35:31] Let's see how this works
[00:35:32] What kind of
[00:35:33] What kind of she does
[00:35:34] She's like hey
[00:35:35] I'm gonna make
[00:35:36] Indirectly miserable again
[00:35:37] What's impossible
[00:35:38] Yeah
[00:35:39] But you would think like
[00:35:40] Okay well
[00:35:41] What if I made
[00:35:42] My ugly daughter
[00:35:43] Slightly less ugly
[00:35:44] What about that
[00:35:45] Let's try that
[00:35:46] Or what
[00:35:47] If I
[00:35:48] Hey
[00:35:49] Let's try like
[00:35:51] Turning
[00:35:52] What if I turn this
[00:35:53] That rat into
[00:35:54] Like a bigger rat
[00:35:55] Or something
[00:35:56] Like you could
[00:35:57] Just to test it out
[00:35:58] Yeah test it out
[00:35:59] Baby steps
[00:36:00] And then like
[00:36:01] Instead she turned
[00:36:02] Back on
[00:36:03] Yes she twist the entire
[00:36:06] She did what
[00:36:07] Time Dan
[00:36:08] I'm not gonna say it
[00:36:11] It was a twisted time
[00:36:12] That's true
[00:36:13] She did the thing
[00:36:14] That is in the title of the movie
[00:36:17] Yes she's so evil
[00:36:19] The first thing she thought was
[00:36:21] Cinderella's too happy
[00:36:22] I am going to take that away
[00:36:23] Let's reverse
[00:36:24] Let's take away her happily ever after
[00:36:26] Turn back time
[00:36:27] They end up back in the living room
[00:36:29] They're in the forest
[00:36:30] You might say evil
[00:36:32] I would say one dimensional
[00:36:33] Man
[00:36:34] And then one dimension is evil
[00:36:36] So how many other magic wands
[00:36:38] Are out there
[00:36:40] Is it
[00:36:43] Gregorovich makes some
[00:36:44] Just
[00:36:46] Ollivander
[00:36:48] Ollivander Gregorovich
[00:36:49] That's about it
[00:36:50] Yeah
[00:36:51] Like
[00:36:52] Anyway
[00:36:53] I don't
[00:36:54] And the mice aren't affected by this
[00:36:56] They go back with them
[00:36:57] Well mice are already magic
[00:37:00] What
[00:37:01] Yeah this magic system
[00:37:02] Doesn't make a lot of sense
[00:37:03] But
[00:37:04] No they don't
[00:37:05] Go back a lot
[00:37:06] Well
[00:37:07] The mice will go back in time
[00:37:08] The mice figure it out
[00:37:09] With Cinderella
[00:37:10] Cinderella figures it out
[00:37:11] She's like wait a minute
[00:37:12] No the mice figure it out
[00:37:13] And then they tell Cinderella
[00:37:14] Yeah
[00:37:15] And the mice don't actually talk
[00:37:17] They symbolize Cinderella's loneliness
[00:37:20] And despair
[00:37:21] Because she has no one to communicate with
[00:37:23] Other than the person in the movie
[00:37:25] Prince Eric can hear him too
[00:37:26] That's another problem with this movie
[00:37:28] Is that
[00:37:29] I guess they just talk
[00:37:31] And they talk in full sentences and words
[00:37:33] Occasionally when it fits them
[00:37:34] But other times
[00:37:35] They call her Cinderella
[00:37:37] And they talk in full sentences
[00:37:39] And they talk in full sentences
[00:37:40] And they talk in full sentences
[00:37:41] And other times
[00:37:42] They call her Cinderella
[00:37:43] And then he falls over there
[00:37:44] And says
[00:37:45] And that's a major point
[00:37:46] She's like
[00:37:47] Oh that's so cute
[00:37:48] I'm not Cinderella
[00:37:50] By the way
[00:37:51] Please don't call me Cinderella
[00:37:52] Because that's a really offensive name
[00:37:54] Call me ET
[00:37:56] Yeah
[00:37:57] Call me vacuum
[00:37:58] Okay so the witch
[00:37:59] She turns back time
[00:38:00] They end up in their living room
[00:38:02] Right at the time that the grand duke
[00:38:04] Is coming to do the fitting
[00:38:05] Right we all remember this
[00:38:06] In the movie
[00:38:07] And Cinderella's locked in her cupboard
[00:38:09] Upstairs
[00:38:10] And
[00:38:12] In the movie
[00:38:14] They try to shoe on
[00:38:15] Anastasia Drizella
[00:38:16] They don't fit
[00:38:17] Comic whatever
[00:38:19] And Sus
[00:38:20] Cinderella comes down with the other slipper
[00:38:22] Is like hey the other one broke
[00:38:23] Here's mine
[00:38:24] That's what happened
[00:38:25] This time
[00:38:26] The wicked queen
[00:38:28] Maleficent
[00:38:29] She
[00:38:30] Lady of Charmaine
[00:38:31] Shrinks
[00:38:32] Lady of Charmaine
[00:38:33] Lady of Maleficent
[00:38:34] Shrinks
[00:38:35] Anastasia's foot
[00:38:36] To fit into the glass
[00:38:38] She makes
[00:38:39] The glass slipper grow
[00:38:41] Bigger okay
[00:38:42] Yeah
[00:38:43] So the shoe fits
[00:38:44] And if the shoe fits
[00:38:46] I had it in every color
[00:38:47] You're the princess
[00:38:48] You're gonna marry it
[00:38:50] That's right
[00:38:51] If the shoe fits
[00:38:52] You're gonna get married to the prince
[00:38:54] I think it would have been
[00:38:55] She uses her magic wand
[00:38:56] If she just
[00:38:58] For like
[00:38:59] The rest of the movie
[00:39:00] Had one really small foot
[00:39:01] And one really large foot
[00:39:02] That would be funny
[00:39:03] Again
[00:39:04] There are so many opportunities
[00:39:06] That this movie is missing
[00:39:08] And speaking of opportunities
[00:39:10] I'm gonna give you the listener
[00:39:12] This opportunity
[00:39:13] The listener to this
[00:39:15] That broom-erred as much as
[00:39:18] Hey
[00:39:19] Hey
[00:39:20] Hey
[00:39:21] Hey
[00:39:22] Hey
[00:39:23] Hey
[00:39:24] Poor Cinderella
[00:39:25] She couldn't go to the ball
[00:39:26] Until she cleaned the sink
[00:39:28] Now Cinderella had it tough
[00:39:31] To have no babble made it rough
[00:39:33] She worked harder than a dog
[00:39:36] But she couldn't get rid of old Sinksmog
[00:39:39] So sad
[00:39:40] What she didn't have babbles
[00:39:41] So sad
[00:39:42] What she didn't have babbles
[00:39:44] Too bad
[00:39:45] Chica'd only wish she had
[00:39:47] Bride or client or babble
[00:39:49] Woo-hoo
[00:39:51] And then appeared a fairy queen
[00:39:53] Who said
[00:39:54] Get out to get Sinkqueen
[00:39:56] Babble with Powerpack Zuds, my dear
[00:39:58] We'll make that Sinksmog disappear
[00:40:01] Yes, Babble's Powerpack Zuds
[00:40:03] Sweeps away Sinksmog
[00:40:05] Seconds
[00:40:06] Wee
[00:40:08] No more drudgery
[00:40:09] It's Babble for me
[00:40:11] That's why
[00:40:12] So many, many, many, many
[00:40:13] Brighter, brighter, babble
[00:40:15] No Sinksmog with Babble
[00:40:18] And we're back
[00:40:20] Hello
[00:40:21] Hi
[00:40:22] So, Audrey, there were
[00:40:23] There were a couple things to your point
[00:40:26] One big foot, one small foot
[00:40:28] A lot of this movie
[00:40:30] She's wearing a glass slipper
[00:40:32] And you can hear every other step
[00:40:34] Is the glass tinkle on the ground
[00:40:36] It's funny
[00:40:37] That's hilarious
[00:40:40] Okay, so
[00:40:42] Cinderella gets weird from the mice
[00:40:44] Is that this is all happening
[00:40:46] She comes down
[00:40:48] Anastasia's now off with the Grand Duke
[00:40:50] To go marry the prince
[00:40:52] And
[00:40:53] Lady for Maine's like
[00:40:54] I don't care what you do
[00:40:55] I don't care where you go
[00:40:57] You stay away from the palace
[00:40:59] And then she breaks the glass slipper
[00:41:01] That Cinderella had
[00:41:03] Oh, she's a meanie
[00:41:05] It's the opposite of what happened
[00:41:07] In the original movie
[00:41:09] And Cinderella is very sad
[00:41:11] And she feels very
[00:41:13] Full of despair
[00:41:15] And
[00:41:17] Why does the green one
[00:41:19] Not get any attention
[00:41:21] Why does the green step
[00:41:22] She sucks
[00:41:23] That shafted
[00:41:24] They both suck
[00:41:25] Oh, Drizella
[00:41:26] Drizella
[00:41:27] Because if you remember
[00:41:28] Audrey in the sequel
[00:41:30] The sequel was about Anastasia
[00:41:32] This is actually a continuation
[00:41:34] Of sorts of that movie
[00:41:36] Oh, man
[00:41:37] Anastasia's looking for love
[00:41:38] And now she finds it
[00:41:40] Technically there's an arc
[00:41:41] Yeah, I don't remember the second movie at all
[00:41:44] I tried
[00:41:45] Not very hard
[00:41:47] So I think Drizella's supposed to be like
[00:41:52] I mean if we're going to give Anastasia
[00:41:55] Any kind of character arc
[00:41:57] We need like
[00:41:59] The foil for the villain
[00:42:01] You're gonna get embossed
[00:42:03] I mean, again
[00:42:05] I'm not saying that Drizella's choices
[00:42:07] I don't think any of these choices were good
[00:42:10] But I think that the reason to keep Drizella
[00:42:14] Awful is to make it so that
[00:42:18] It's not just Lady Maleficent
[00:42:21] Basically Drizella keeps her from being Maleficent
[00:42:24] If I'm being really honest
[00:42:26] Drizella's kind of mean
[00:42:28] I'm constantly calling her sister stupid
[00:42:31] And she's just a foil
[00:42:33] And she's jealous, ultimately
[00:42:35] Also the movie's mad
[00:42:38] So that's also amazing
[00:42:40] So Lady from Main Leaves
[00:42:42] And then Jock and Gus Gus
[00:42:44] They go to Cinderella and they sing more than a dream
[00:42:47] Which she sings it
[00:42:49] They try to cheer up
[00:42:51] I love their shapes
[00:42:53] One of them is circle and the other one is triangle
[00:42:56] Yeah, there's always a skinny one and there's always a fat one
[00:43:01] That's what happens with this idea
[00:43:03] Anastasia should have found a similarly shaped person
[00:43:07] By the end of this movie
[00:43:09] Hey, if you watch the credits
[00:43:11] There's like a little nod to that
[00:43:13] That's a big if
[00:43:15] Is there?
[00:43:16] If you make it to the post-credits scene
[00:43:19] I was waiting for it
[00:43:21] Because I thought, oh okay
[00:43:23] Now we get to see our resolution
[00:43:25] Here's a chance with all the stupid pictures
[00:43:27] But did I miss something?
[00:43:29] I mean, genuine question
[00:43:31] There was a post-credits scene
[00:43:34] What year did the Avengers come out?
[00:43:37] They put the Anastasia in the Avengers?
[00:43:40] No, not that
[00:43:42] Iron Man was 2008
[00:43:45] Audrey, 2008 was Iron Man
[00:43:47] This is before Disney owned them
[00:43:49] Hold on, did they actually include a scene after the credits of Anastasia?
[00:43:53] Nick Fury comes in Anastasia
[00:43:56] Sorry, two questions were happening at once
[00:43:58] Yes, there's a post-credits scene, Dan
[00:44:01] But it's like literally five seconds
[00:44:04] And is Anastasia possibly finding some kind of love?
[00:44:09] No
[00:44:11] You're just gonna have to watch the movie
[00:44:14] I refuse
[00:44:16] Alright, fine, back to the plot
[00:44:19] Sorry, I was going on Disney Plus to watch this post-credits scene
[00:44:24] Anyway, so the mice are like Cinderella
[00:44:27] Prince, he knows you danced with him
[00:44:29] And we're gonna go to the palace
[00:44:30] We're gonna convince him that they danced together
[00:44:32] And then we go back to the step family
[00:44:34] They're at the castle and the prince is sword fighting with his dad?
[00:44:39] Sorry
[00:44:41] Real swords, Dan
[00:44:43] Actual metal dirty
[00:44:47] Sorry, I cannot picture it now and it's hilarious
[00:44:52] Oh god, Fanner
[00:44:55] The king talks about how he was immediately smitten with his wife
[00:45:00] She died
[00:45:03] This... yeah
[00:45:06] Oh, I'm gonna continue, hold on
[00:45:08] How did she die?
[00:45:10] I'm trying to
[00:45:12] She dies because she turned into a seashell
[00:45:15] And is the prince an only child?
[00:45:18] Yes
[00:45:20] So maybe she died really young
[00:45:23] By the way, these characters have names, right?
[00:45:25] This is Prince Philip or Stephen, or King Stephen
[00:45:29] No, he does not have a name
[00:45:31] He's just Prince
[00:45:32] Prince Philip is the one from Mary Poppins, right?
[00:45:35] Oh, Sleeping Beauty
[00:45:36] No, Sleeping Beauty
[00:45:38] Snow White
[00:45:40] His name's Han Solo
[00:45:43] Snow White
[00:45:44] Who's the prince in Snow White?
[00:45:45] No, Sleeping Beauty
[00:45:47] That's Prince Charming
[00:45:49] Yeah, that's actually his name, Prince Charming
[00:45:52] And then the other sleepy movie, Sleeping Beauty
[00:45:56] He is really charming though, like what a nice prince guy
[00:46:00] He's so nice to the maid, you know Cinderella
[00:46:04] He's a gentleman
[00:46:05] He's nice to her, she's pretty
[00:46:07] What more could a woman want?
[00:46:10] Alright, hold on
[00:46:13] Here's the post-credits scene
[00:46:15] Oh, nope, that's just Mickey Mouse coming out of a red circle
[00:46:18] Jimmy
[00:46:20] This is Disney
[00:46:21] Now's not the time
[00:46:23] I don't see any post-credits
[00:46:25] Hold on
[00:46:27] You really think people who listen to this show are at this point going to be like, oh, they should have cut that
[00:46:32] I can't believe it
[00:46:33] Let us know in the comments
[00:46:36] Let me listen to Boi's playing
[00:46:38] Listen to my comments
[00:46:39] The king foreshadows some stuff
[00:46:41] So he fell in love with his wife, you know, the prince's mom
[00:46:46] And then he talks about like when
[00:46:48] She has a name, Queen
[00:46:50] Sorry, his queen, his queen by the way
[00:46:53] Very possessive
[00:46:54] Yeah
[00:46:55] She's a prince of her, she died
[00:46:57] With Anastasia writing, the prince is at first, he's like, oh yeah
[00:47:01] I can't wait to meet the girl I danced with last night
[00:47:04] And then he sees her and he's like, uh
[00:47:07] You don't look like her
[00:47:10] And then he's like, you can go home now
[00:47:14] Thanks for coming
[00:47:15] Sorry, I guess it must have fit more than one person
[00:47:17] Because the whole conceit of the first movie is
[00:47:19] There's only one person in the world that could fit this shoe
[00:47:22] Yep
[00:47:23] Not a great plan
[00:47:24] I guess more than one person
[00:47:25] No
[00:47:26] But that was the plan, the prince, the king's like, I don't care
[00:47:29] I want to marry
[00:47:30] You're marrying him
[00:47:31] You're marrying him
[00:47:32] Yeah, I don't care
[00:47:33] It's just if the shoe fits
[00:47:35] Yep
[00:47:36] Buy it in every color
[00:47:37] Um, what did you say?
[00:47:39] Buy it
[00:47:40] Buy it in
[00:47:41] Buy it in
[00:47:42] Buy it in
[00:47:43] Buy it in
[00:47:44] Buy it in
[00:47:45] Okay
[00:47:46] Um, anyway, so at that point, the prince is like, hey
[00:47:49] Peace out, sorry, you're not the one that I fell in love with last night
[00:47:53] And then the end of the movie happens
[00:47:55] And he's like, you know what, this was a silly idea
[00:47:58] In the first place, maybe I should like actually go
[00:48:02] And then Cinderella goes to the castle and she's like, hey
[00:48:06] Really weird, I, you know, I danced with the prince
[00:48:11] And apparently he was so taken by me that he's doing this kingdom-wide search
[00:48:16] Where he's like trying on, you know, slippers with all these random people
[00:48:23] He has a foot fetish
[00:48:24] I could, yeah, he's into feet
[00:48:26] I'm into feet too, they're super sweaty and gross
[00:48:29] And like, I'm Cinderella
[00:48:31] Check this, check out my feet
[00:48:33] And check out my feet
[00:48:34] And I know it sounds weird
[00:48:35] But apparently this is a really big deal
[00:48:37] So like, could you at least let him know that like the person's here
[00:48:42] If you want to bring the slipper down
[00:48:44] And we can talk, I mean, unless he has face blindness
[00:48:48] He can just like look at me and be like, yeah, that's her
[00:48:51] But I'm into the foot thing too
[00:48:54] I mean, look, you want to see my breath of history?
[00:48:58] I'm into it
[00:48:59] Cause he's like, there's only one person who's going to fit this shoe
[00:49:02] And then she, and the station comes like, no, no
[00:49:04] I guess there's more than one person who can fit this shoe
[00:49:06] This is not the one I was in love with
[00:49:07] Lady Tremaine, totally Ursul is him
[00:49:11] And so this is the one you love
[00:49:13] And then he goes and meets Cinderella later
[00:49:15] Who's there as a mice wrangler
[00:49:17] Like she sneaks into the castle
[00:49:19] And she's a mice wrangler
[00:49:20] And there's this moment where Hollyn Taylor
[00:49:24] Is a really great actress
[00:49:26] She's like the head of the kitchen
[00:49:29] She's like one scene
[00:49:31] Is a really famous actress
[00:49:33] She had a prudence is her name
[00:49:35] And she, if you saw Legally Blonde
[00:49:38] She was the lady lawyer teacher
[00:49:41] I know exactly who you're talking about
[00:49:43] If you're going to let one little prick ruin your life
[00:49:47] You're not the girl I thought you were
[00:49:49] Just like her, well done
[00:49:50] Thank you
[00:49:51] Prince Charming is the name of the prince by the way
[00:49:53] That's his character
[00:49:54] He's also Prince Charming?
[00:49:55] This is his first name Char, last name Ming
[00:49:58] That's correct
[00:50:00] Oh Prince Char
[00:50:02] I thought Prince Charming was Snow White
[00:50:04] It's the same prince
[00:50:06] Anyway, Tress McNeil is in it
[00:50:07] There's a lot of the lady who plays Minnie Mouse
[00:50:10] Is she plays
[00:50:13] Stop, you're enabling this movie
[00:50:15] You're enabling this awful movie
[00:50:17] We were talking about the head of house
[00:50:20] And then we're talking about Legally Blonde
[00:50:23] And she comes in to be the mouse catcher
[00:50:26] Right?
[00:50:27] And then Anastasia and the prince now have this moment
[00:50:30] Where they dance on a waltz
[00:50:32] Wait a minute
[00:50:35] Told you
[00:50:36] Who was the Snow White prince name?
[00:50:38] Also Prince Charming
[00:50:39] What?
[00:50:40] No
[00:50:41] Also played by the county of Luzeric in Mo Merame
[00:50:44] No
[00:50:48] So, yeah anyway
[00:50:50] Prince Florian
[00:50:53] Florian?
[00:50:56] We have a lot of Harry Potter reference in this episode
[00:50:59] Sure do
[00:51:00] Also Prince Henrik
[00:51:02] Jonathan
[00:51:04] Who?
[00:51:05] I don't, this is insane
[00:51:08] Anyway, let's talk about this awful movie
[00:51:10] Alright, so Anastasia there's a moment where she gets the ring
[00:51:13] And she fumbles it
[00:51:14] That's another one of those moments like
[00:51:16] She doesn't have to fumble the ring for that long
[00:51:18] It's just wasting time
[00:51:20] She's all over the place with legs over her head
[00:51:22] There's a lot of her bloomers in this movie
[00:51:24] They're funny
[00:51:26] They're the most beloved characters at the parks
[00:51:29] Everybody knows this
[00:51:30] Everyone loves the step sisters
[00:51:32] And the wicked queen
[00:51:34] I don't mind the buffoonery
[00:51:36] Sorry, go ahead, Audrey
[00:51:38] I was gonna say if I were a cast member
[00:51:40] I'd want to be an evil step sister
[00:51:42] Or maybe one of the evil queens
[00:51:45] But I'm too tall
[00:51:46] And that's discrimination
[00:51:48] I don't mean that this is gonna
[00:51:50] Maybe just sound really awkward
[00:51:52] But you're too pretty for it too
[00:51:54] Oh, stop
[00:51:55] It's true
[00:51:56] I don't mind the buffoonery
[00:51:59] Of dropping the ring moment
[00:52:02] But it doesn't
[00:52:05] Help where the character goes
[00:52:07] In the movie
[00:52:09] Like it's
[00:52:10] Well, it shows that she's unworthy
[00:52:13] I think, I know this sounds stupid
[00:52:15] She's unworthy because she's not a graceful princess
[00:52:18] She's a buffoon
[00:52:20] And...
[00:52:21] I mean, you're not wrong
[00:52:23] But I think that
[00:52:25] Where the movie goes with this character
[00:52:28] Is so in...
[00:52:30] And I realize
[00:52:32] It's a Disney sequel, so of course
[00:52:34] But it's inconsistent
[00:52:36] And like
[00:52:37] They go in a direction
[00:52:39] That I really like with this character
[00:52:41] And they introduce this idea
[00:52:44] That like, oh, maybe she is actually
[00:52:46] A good person
[00:52:48] Who intends well and is just
[00:52:50] In this bad family
[00:52:53] And maybe she is a good egg
[00:52:55] But then it defaults to
[00:52:58] What you just said
[00:53:00] Which is like, yeah, but she's not worthy
[00:53:02] She's not, you know...
[00:53:04] Can I say it?
[00:53:06] She's not pretty enough
[00:53:08] Like that's what this movie is telling us
[00:53:11] Right, and just to be clear
[00:53:13] You're saying, just for clarification
[00:53:16] You're saying that that's what the movie is saying
[00:53:18] Not that yet
[00:53:19] That is correct
[00:53:20] That's what the movie is saying
[00:53:21] No, I agree that that is what the movie is saying
[00:53:23] And it can't just be about
[00:53:25] Look, she also has to be clumsy
[00:53:27] Right
[00:53:28] Because the whole movie is her being clumsy
[00:53:29] She's a loser
[00:53:30] Prince...
[00:53:31] Cinderella has...
[00:53:34] What qualities does she have?
[00:53:36] She has resourcefulness
[00:53:38] She has hopefulness, faith
[00:53:40] Not in this movie
[00:53:41] She has like, she's soft-spoken
[00:53:43] Like these are...
[00:53:44] She's got grace
[00:53:45] She's got thoughtful and kind
[00:53:47] She's good to all animals
[00:53:49] Knows how to keep a house
[00:53:51] Whereas like the other girls, they're lazy
[00:53:53] They're bumbling
[00:53:54] I mean, I think about it
[00:53:56] In like any partner that you want in your life
[00:53:59] Like do you want to have a liability
[00:54:01] Or do you want to have an asset?
[00:54:02] The problem is, Audrey
[00:54:04] Everything you're saying is correct
[00:54:06] But the problem with this movie
[00:54:08] Is that the prince doesn't know any of that
[00:54:10] All he knows is they touched hands
[00:54:13] And there was something that happened when they touched hands
[00:54:16] She's pretty
[00:54:17] She's a good dancer
[00:54:18] That's all he knows about her
[00:54:20] We know that she's got all those qualities
[00:54:22] That's fair
[00:54:23] He doesn't know that
[00:54:24] All he knows is this thing that happened
[00:54:27] Yeah, I don't think the original movie gives
[00:54:29] And I wrote this down in my notes too
[00:54:30] Is like we don't see any of the relationship building
[00:54:33] Between Cinderella and Prince Charming
[00:54:34] Besides their one ballroom dance
[00:54:37] Well, and their hands touched
[00:54:38] I'll give you that
[00:54:39] And that was magical
[00:54:40] And then even in this movie
[00:54:43] Like there's none of that development
[00:54:45] Of her character
[00:54:47] He just remembers this thing from this girl
[00:54:49] And Dan had a whole thing about it earlier
[00:54:51] Like why can't he just see this woman
[00:54:53] It's got to be about the shoe that fits
[00:54:55] But then he sees this other person
[00:54:58] That's not her
[00:54:59] He's like no, no, no, there's a mistake
[00:55:00] She's not that blonde girl
[00:55:02] With the big bright blue eyes
[00:55:03] You know what I mean?
[00:55:05] Just I don't know
[00:55:06] Anyway, whatever
[00:55:07] And that's the real message of the story
[00:55:10] If you're average
[00:55:11] You shouldn't expect a Prince Charming
[00:55:13] That's right
[00:55:14] It's just like if you are average
[00:55:17] And you want to say record a podcast
[00:55:21] Using average technology
[00:55:24] Say through like a spectrum cable
[00:55:28] And you can't
[00:55:31] Because it'll just keep kicking you off
[00:55:33] You're not special
[00:55:34] And then you have to go back and edit
[00:55:37] Ridiculous amounts of files
[00:55:39] In order to make it sound coherent
[00:55:41] And then because you're the way you are
[00:55:43] You talk about it so that any attempt
[00:55:47] To make it sound coherent is lost
[00:55:50] Anyway, where were we?
[00:55:51] Okay, so Anastasia's clumsy
[00:55:54] She and Drizella are fighting over the cake
[00:55:57] The Prince, she and the Prince dance
[00:55:59] And she steps all over the Prince's feet
[00:56:01] Every other step is the glass slipper
[00:56:03] And then the King calls for Anastasia
[00:56:06] Okay, and he tells this story about
[00:56:10] When he met his wife
[00:56:11] They were walking on the beach
[00:56:13] And they touched hands
[00:56:14] This is the theme of the movie
[00:56:16] If you touch someone's hand
[00:56:17] There's this magical spark
[00:56:18] And they both reached for the seashell
[00:56:20] At the same time
[00:56:21] And they touched hands
[00:56:22] And so Anastasia, as Audrey pointed out
[00:56:25] Looks a lot like Prince Charming's mom
[00:56:28] Redhead, clumsy
[00:56:30] You mean Queen
[00:56:31] God's rest her soul
[00:56:33] I forgot her name
[00:56:34] God save the Queen
[00:56:35] God save Queen
[00:56:37] Yeah, this King's got a thing for redheads
[00:56:40] Yeah, so King gives
[00:56:43] Oh, by the way, back to Harry Potter
[00:56:45] The description of Harry's mom
[00:56:47] Is the exact description of Ginny Weasley
[00:56:49] But that's beside the point
[00:56:50] Well
[00:56:51] Anyway, so the seashell of
[00:56:54] That the King saved
[00:56:56] It's her most treasured possession
[00:56:58] Is this seashell based on the story I just mentioned
[00:57:01] Anastasia's touched by this
[00:57:04] And she is starting to feel loved
[00:57:07] Regardless of what she looks like
[00:57:09] Or whether she deserves it or not
[00:57:11] Because Prince Charming is a gentleman
[00:57:13] Mm-hmm, yes
[00:57:15] I think she's starting to
[00:57:19] I don't know that it's love
[00:57:21] So much as it is
[00:57:23] Just she's starting to see
[00:57:25] What it's like to be in an environment
[00:57:27] Where she's not yelled at constantly
[00:57:30] Okay, that's her
[00:57:31] Kindness
[00:57:32] But then we cut back
[00:57:33] Yeah, sure
[00:57:34] Yeah, because she hasn't
[00:57:35] Nobody's been kind to her
[00:57:36] Arguably except Cinderella
[00:57:39] Right?
[00:57:40] Yeah
[00:57:41] And her mom is kind to her
[00:57:42] Just as a default of
[00:57:44] You know, it's all about
[00:57:45] What her mom wants
[00:57:46] And to serve her mother
[00:57:48] And she's too old to be whatever
[00:57:50] So she's got to live through her daughters
[00:57:52] Now the Prince is under a spell
[00:57:55] From Lady Maleficent
[00:57:58] And when he touched Anastasia's hand
[00:58:02] Even under a spell where he remembers
[00:58:04] Back in his mind's eye that it was Anastasia
[00:58:06] He danced with
[00:58:07] When he touched her hand
[00:58:08] He didn't feel that spark
[00:58:10] Back to the hand touching thing
[00:58:11] So he's confused
[00:58:13] Which, by the way
[00:58:14] Not a bad move for the movie
[00:58:16] I'm...
[00:58:18] If this were a worse movie
[00:58:20] Which is still bad
[00:58:21] But if it was a worse movie
[00:58:22] It would have been absolute
[00:58:25] Prince Eric has face blind lists
[00:58:27] And he's like, oh it's you
[00:58:29] You know
[00:58:30] And I'm glad they didn't go there
[00:58:33] And I'm glad that
[00:58:35] That hand touch moment
[00:58:37] He's like
[00:58:40] Yeah, something is weird
[00:58:42] He doesn't know what it is
[00:58:43] The mice see Lady Tremaine
[00:58:46] With the wand, they figure it out
[00:58:48] So they try to get it
[00:58:49] They sneak around Lucifer
[00:58:51] To try to get the key
[00:58:52] Very reminiscent of the first movie
[00:58:54] That's sticking out of her pocket
[00:58:55] To open the drawer to get the magic wand
[00:58:57] And Lucifer's tail gets caught on fire
[00:59:00] And then there's this
[00:59:01] Someone put out the cat
[00:59:03] And then like
[00:59:05] Then there's that whole
[00:59:06] Again, that Tom and Jerry thing
[00:59:08] And then the mice have the wand now
[00:59:10] And the mice turn Lucifer into
[00:59:13] A jack in the box
[00:59:15] And then the jack in the box
[00:59:16] Is chasing the mice
[00:59:17] And then into a mini size Lucifer
[00:59:19] That's where the Tom and Jerry thing comes in
[00:59:21] Then back to normal size
[00:59:23] While he's in the mouse hole
[00:59:25] I think it's funny that he still
[00:59:27] Beats them up when he's a very small cat
[00:59:30] Yes, yeah, and that was that Tom and Jerry moment
[00:59:33] Did you get to the point where the
[00:59:36] The birds put the glass slipper together
[00:59:38] Seemingly with tape that the birds
[00:59:40] Don't actually possess?
[00:59:42] I don't remember this part of the movie at all
[00:59:44] What are you talking about?
[00:59:45] I remember this part
[00:59:46] And I was like
[00:59:47] I justified it in my mind
[00:59:48] Because there's a certain type of cave swallow
[00:59:50] That like makes nests out of their spit
[00:59:53] And I assume that that is very specific
[00:59:56] Adhesive, yeah
[00:59:57] And this is actually bird nest
[00:59:59] Bird nest soup is a random delicacy
[01:00:02] In some part of the world
[01:00:04] Wow
[01:00:06] Yeah, look it up after you finish your making
[01:00:08] Of the cheesecake
[01:00:10] Put that on your list of things to cook
[01:00:14] Mouse, bird soup
[01:00:17] Bird's nest soup
[01:00:19] Bird's nest soup would just be chicken noodle
[01:00:23] That's fair
[01:00:24] So Cinderella makes it to the staircase
[01:00:26] Where the prince appears
[01:00:28] And Cinderella's attempt to break the spell on him
[01:00:30] So he would remember
[01:00:32] Who he really danced with
[01:00:34] Is cut off when the guards get to Cinderella
[01:00:37] And Lady Maleficent takes back the wand
[01:00:40] But Cinderella just manages
[01:00:42] To put her hand over the princes
[01:00:45] Which then has him shocked and now baffled
[01:00:49] Now Lady Tremaine has been ordered
[01:00:51] Or ordered Cinderella to tell him
[01:00:53] The next ship to exile, never to return again
[01:00:58] She's the only one on the ship as far as I can tell
[01:01:01] Why doesn't she just use Avada Kedavra?
[01:01:05] Yeah
[01:01:06] By the way
[01:01:08] Listener, this is a Harry Potter podcast now
[01:01:12] There's seven books in this series
[01:01:15] And there are two versions of these seven books
[01:01:19] You're all familiar with The Sorcerer's Stone
[01:01:22] Which is what we know in North America
[01:01:24] But the original is the Philosopher's Stone, right?
[01:01:26] Yeah
[01:01:27] There are audio recordings of all seven books
[01:01:31] In North America it's Jim Dale
[01:01:34] And in the rest of the world
[01:01:36] Or at least in the UK it's named Stephen Fry
[01:01:38] Two completely different audio recordings
[01:01:41] From two completely different people
[01:01:43] And only recently have I discovered
[01:01:46] That in North America you can now get the Stephen Fry version
[01:01:49] Yo, upgrade
[01:01:51] It's weird
[01:01:52] Oh really?
[01:01:54] Like his pronunciation of stuff
[01:01:56] Like Audrey
[01:01:58] I don't know how familiar you are with these books
[01:02:00] But what do they call the dead bodies
[01:02:03] Who have been animated, like animated corpses
[01:02:05] What do they call it?
[01:02:06] Inferi
[01:02:07] Zombies
[01:02:08] Inferi
[01:02:09] This guy calls him Inferi
[01:02:12] You said the killing curse which is
[01:02:14] Avada Kedavra
[01:02:16] He says Avada Kedavra
[01:02:19] Oh no
[01:02:20] Avada Kedavra
[01:02:21] He says Avada
[01:02:22] What is wrong with this guy?
[01:02:24] And why does JK Rowling not get involved
[01:02:26] And say this is how you pronounce this thing that I wrote
[01:02:28] Anyway
[01:02:29] Yeah, she has some strong opinions about other things
[01:02:32] I was waiting for it
[01:02:34] I'm a huge fan of hers actually
[01:02:37] She's a personal hero
[01:02:39] Listen
[01:02:41] What she has done with those seven books
[01:02:43] I don't know what else she's done outside of that
[01:02:45] I don't care, but just an incredible world building
[01:02:47] And I'm excited for the HBO Max show
[01:02:49] Anyway
[01:02:50] So
[01:02:51] Later that afternoon
[01:02:53] Prince is talking to his dad
[01:02:55] They're in a small fitting room
[01:02:56] Which is I guess a fun gag
[01:02:58] Because he's real short
[01:02:59] And he's got this really tall mirror
[01:03:00] He's fitting for his robes
[01:03:01] For Hogwarts of course
[01:03:03] That's right
[01:03:04] Madame Alkins is there
[01:03:05] That's right
[01:03:06] Where's the Prince's shoe collection
[01:03:08] Because it's a thing for him, right?
[01:03:10] Oh yeah
[01:03:11] He's got a foot fetish
[01:03:13] Really, it's about the feet
[01:03:16] But anyway
[01:03:17] So the mice
[01:03:19] Perform the song called At the Ball
[01:03:22] Where they explain to the Prince
[01:03:24] Who can't understand the mice by the way
[01:03:26] And he dances Cinderella
[01:03:28] And that he's under a spell
[01:03:30] Which causes him
[01:03:31] To hurry out of the room
[01:03:33] And then he confronts his father
[01:03:34] He's like you can't leave
[01:03:36] And he's like I'm leaving
[01:03:37] And the Prince is like
[01:03:38] The king's like you can't take one more step down
[01:03:40] These stairs
[01:03:41] Okay and he jumps out the window
[01:03:42] That was so fun
[01:03:43] All of a sudden the Prince is interesting
[01:03:45] Yeah
[01:03:46] Yes
[01:03:47] And by the way
[01:03:49] A wonderful opportunity was missed
[01:03:51] By the mice
[01:03:53] Where they could have said
[01:03:54] Cinderella is under a spell
[01:03:56] They did not
[01:03:58] That's so good
[01:04:00] Another kind of fun moment
[01:04:01] During that thing
[01:04:02] Where they're talking about Cinderella
[01:04:03] And who you really dance at the ball
[01:04:05] And they're speaking in mice
[01:04:07] Which he can understand
[01:04:08] But they're talking really quickly
[01:04:10] Maybe it's because he was hitting the magic
[01:04:13] Yeah
[01:04:14] So then he's like
[01:04:15] Oh I
[01:04:16] No I got nothing
[01:04:18] I think he says the words
[01:04:20] I got nothing
[01:04:22] Because he doesn't actually understand them
[01:04:24] It's funny
[01:04:26] Anyway real quick
[01:04:27] The Prince then
[01:04:29] Finds out that she's been banished
[01:04:31] The thing on the ship
[01:04:32] And so he gets on his horse
[01:04:34] And he rides his horse out of the kingdom
[01:04:36] And stuff and stuff and things
[01:04:38] Oh wait hold on
[01:04:39] You're missing the part where he
[01:04:42] Thinks it's a good idea
[01:04:45] To jump off of a cliff
[01:04:47] With his horse
[01:04:49] This was so reckless
[01:04:50] The horse shattered
[01:04:51] Nope
[01:04:52] Oh my god
[01:04:53] That horse said nope
[01:04:54] But before we get to that
[01:04:55] Lady Tremaine
[01:04:56] Like banishes Cinderella
[01:04:58] And she turns a pumpkin into a coach
[01:05:01] But a nice little juxtaposition
[01:05:03] Because she's the ancestor of Maleficent
[01:05:05] That coach is an evil pumpkin
[01:05:08] With like barbed wire vines
[01:05:10] But this is after the Prince returns to the castle
[01:05:13] With Cinderella that he's rescued from the boat
[01:05:16] She banishes Cinderella twice
[01:05:18] And in this moment
[01:05:21] She's actually getting like
[01:05:23] Sinister and doing the stuff that she should have
[01:05:26] Done at the very beginning
[01:05:28] Which is just like
[01:05:29] Alright F it I'm killing this girl
[01:05:32] And Anastasia's character is coming out
[01:05:37] Where she's like okay this is a bit much
[01:05:39] And at this moment I'm just like
[01:05:42] Oh this movie's actually like
[01:05:44] Okay first half absolutely sucked
[01:05:47] But I mean aside from like
[01:05:50] How did she know that pumpkins were a thing
[01:05:52] Okay whatever
[01:05:53] But like she goes into this really sinister place
[01:05:57] Where it's just like alright
[01:05:58] You are banished
[01:05:59] We're gonna
[01:06:00] It gets good for just enough time
[01:06:04] To give you to give me some kind of like hope
[01:06:08] That like oh wow
[01:06:10] Will this actually be one of those episodes
[01:06:12] Where I'm able to say positive things
[01:06:14] And like oh the movie redeemed itself
[01:06:16] I'm sure hoping
[01:06:18] I hear here's hoping that Anastasia
[01:06:20] Has a character turnaround
[01:06:22] And Lady Tremaine gets her come up
[01:06:24] And everything goes well
[01:06:26] And who knows maybe the fairy god
[01:06:29] Mother will like come out of nowhere
[01:06:31] And be like alright bitches I'm back
[01:06:34] And she like starts kicking ass
[01:06:36] And like bangs the two stepsisters heads together
[01:06:40] And she does like a karate pose
[01:06:42] Because you know it's Disney sequels
[01:06:44] They do like that all the time
[01:06:46] It should have like a matrix you know
[01:06:48] Slow motion shot
[01:06:50] Yeah I mean at this point
[01:06:52] Let's just do that
[01:06:54] But then like no it's just
[01:06:57] Again just a stupid movie
[01:06:59] Because it's
[01:07:00] Right and Audrey reminded me that
[01:07:03] So the first management she's on a boat
[01:07:05] Prince Eric Phillip whatever his name is
[01:07:08] Takes his horse and the horse is
[01:07:10] He's like hey don't worry don't look up
[01:07:12] Cause the drawbridge or the spiky gates
[01:07:15] Coming down and they run through the gate
[01:07:17] And they're at the top of the lighthouse
[01:07:19] To jump onto the boat off of a cliff
[01:07:21] And the horse stops
[01:07:22] And it throws the prince off
[01:07:24] And he does this whole like swashbuckling
[01:07:26] Thing where he
[01:07:28] He destroys a sailboat
[01:07:30] He uses a rope to swing and then
[01:07:32] He takes his knife and Peter Pan style
[01:07:35] Uses the knife to slow himself down
[01:07:37] That's property damage
[01:07:39] That's his property
[01:07:42] I guess so
[01:07:44] But at that point when he sees Cinderella
[01:07:46] He places his hand against hers
[01:07:49] And that's when he knows
[01:07:51] For realsies this time
[01:07:53] That it's her and that broke the spell
[01:07:56] Then they go back to the castle
[01:07:58] And they're like hey we're gonna get married
[01:08:00] In the latest termination it's like uh uh
[01:08:02] And they disappear
[01:08:04] Somehow
[01:08:06] Yeah so why didn't they
[01:08:08] Immediately boot Lady Tremaine
[01:08:10] Why is this bitch still in the castle
[01:08:13] They're going to
[01:08:14] Like well they're going to
[01:08:15] But she makes them disappear
[01:08:17] Yeah they're only in like 45 minutes
[01:08:19] In the movie they have to get it to an hour
[01:08:21] That's why
[01:08:22] Yeah I guess so
[01:08:23] And Audrey
[01:08:24] They wasted no time moving into the castle too
[01:08:26] They brought their whole house
[01:08:27] And their cats
[01:08:28] It was just like we're here now
[01:08:30] We haven't even gotten married yet
[01:08:31] And the king hilariously has had this
[01:08:34] Like up and down emotion thing
[01:08:36] The whole movie
[01:08:37] Like one moment he's screaming
[01:08:39] Red faced
[01:08:40] And then the next moment he's like
[01:08:42] This reminds me of my wife
[01:08:44] And it's like oh my gosh dude
[01:08:46] He's got blood pressure issues Audrey
[01:08:48] But I guess so
[01:08:49] After the boat thing
[01:08:50] Cinderella and the prince come back
[01:08:52] And they tell the king
[01:08:53] Well we're seeing it from Tremaine's vantage point
[01:08:56] Basically saying hey they put a spell on me
[01:08:58] And then Lady Tremaine makes them disappear
[01:09:00] With the wand
[01:09:02] And then she's like
[01:09:04] If he wants Cinderella to marry
[01:09:06] That's who he's going to get
[01:09:08] And then she turns
[01:09:11] Anastasia into Cinderella
[01:09:13] And then banishes Cinderella again
[01:09:16] Into that pumpkin
[01:09:18] Again this is a little mermaid moment
[01:09:21] And I liked that Anastasia at this point
[01:09:25] Was just like yeah you know
[01:09:28] I really want someone to love me
[01:09:31] And not I mean clearly he's in love with Cinderella
[01:09:35] And like yeah I don't love that
[01:09:37] But like this isn't cool
[01:09:40] I like how kind of disturbed she is by this
[01:09:44] Where she's like this is a bit much mom
[01:09:48] Yeah well that's fair and again she does have an arc
[01:09:51] It doesn't get well but she does have an arc
[01:09:54] And so this time like the first time
[01:09:56] I banished her out of the kingdom
[01:09:58] This time it was like I just want to straight up murder her
[01:10:00] So she says Lucifer turns him into the pumpkin
[01:10:03] Just to clarify she has an arc kind of like
[01:10:06] I don't know if any of you are listening
[01:10:09] Or any of the two of you who have ever played Angry Birds
[01:10:11] But you know how there's like that one bird
[01:10:14] That like you shoot it and yeah it has that arc
[01:10:19] But then when you hit the screen
[01:10:21] It just like shoots an egg out of its butt
[01:10:23] And goes flying up in the air
[01:10:25] That's her arc in this movie
[01:10:27] I don't understand what any of that can do
[01:10:29] With Harry Potter
[01:10:30] No Anastasia
[01:10:32] I get the reference as well
[01:10:34] Yeah her arc is like you can see it
[01:10:38] Like you pull back the thing
[01:10:40] And you see on the screen there's clearly those dotted lines
[01:10:42] Where it's like ah that's where the spark is going to go
[01:10:45] Right right you can see that
[01:10:47] You can see that there is in fact an arc
[01:10:49] But then like at some point someone hits the screen
[01:10:53] For you and it's like ah damn it the arc's gone
[01:10:57] Yeah that's fair
[01:10:59] I don't know what that has to do with Harry Potter
[01:11:01] But that's fair
[01:11:03] Owls duh
[01:11:05] They deliver the mail by owl
[01:11:08] So anyway so Cinderella
[01:11:10] The evil carriage Lucifer turns into the evil coachman
[01:11:14] They get done with that
[01:11:16] They escape using the horse that was pulling the carriage
[01:11:19] Oh yeah and water undoes the magic I guess
[01:11:23] It undoes the magic
[01:11:25] When you talk specifically about magic
[01:11:28] Yeah hold on just like in Gringots
[01:11:31] When they broke into the Bellatrix Lestrange's fault
[01:11:35] They went under the waterfall
[01:11:38] Exactly
[01:11:40] Listen to Boyce wedding Batman
[01:11:42] Okay so anyway we're back
[01:11:45] Cinderella likes to go back to the wedding
[01:11:47] We're fake Cinderella who's Anastasia
[01:11:49] She gets back just in time to witness
[01:11:51] To her surprise Anastasia
[01:11:53] Who's still using Cinderella's counterfeit appearance
[01:11:56] Says do you take this man
[01:11:59] She says I don't
[01:12:01] Gasp
[01:12:03] Hey even after all the practicing of I do
[01:12:06] Yeah what would happen if it was raining
[01:12:09] Do you think the statue fairy godmother would return to her normal self
[01:12:13] If water could solve
[01:12:15] And by the way how did she get back into the castle that statue fairy godmother
[01:12:19] I think somebody picked up a wand and undid everything
[01:12:23] Yeah Cinderella was like
[01:12:25] I understand this now
[01:12:27] But the statue was in the garden of the Tremaine house
[01:12:31] Not in the castle
[01:12:33] In the future
[01:12:34] Maybe she has like a homing device
[01:12:36] She had find my iPod on for her magic wand
[01:12:40] She was like
[01:12:41] Well you know what maybe Audrey
[01:12:43] When they brought all their stuff but you have that was the future
[01:12:46] They went back in time
[01:12:47] No I got it
[01:12:48] While Cinderella was in the evil pumpkin carriage
[01:12:52] There was also a copy of the script
[01:12:54] And she read up on her what was going on in the movie
[01:12:57] She's like I know how to fix this
[01:13:00] Exactly
[01:13:02] The one character who knows the least about what's going on is like
[01:13:06] Got it
[01:13:07] Bippity-Boppity boo bitches
[01:13:09] Bippity-Boppity done it
[01:13:11] Yeah
[01:13:12] Yeah
[01:13:13] Bippity-Boppity booked
[01:13:15] Bippity-Boppity fallen
[01:13:20] Alright so she says I don't
[01:13:23] She realizes I don't really actually love this guy
[01:13:26] I might be in love with the king and it's she-shell I don't know
[01:13:29] So furious maybe for me
[01:13:31] That's what should happen
[01:13:33] Her and the king hook up
[01:13:35] They had a lot of chemistry
[01:13:37] That's right
[01:13:38] More chemistry than the prince
[01:13:40] Uh huh
[01:13:42] Anyway so Lady Tremaine and Drizella feel themselves to confront Anastasia
[01:13:46] Who declares that she only wants to be loved for herself
[01:13:50] Not because of a magic spell
[01:13:52] And that's a good message
[01:13:54] That's a really good point
[01:13:56] She just never finds it
[01:13:58] The king orders
[01:14:00] The guards to seize Lady Tremaine
[01:14:02] Go ahead
[01:14:03] It could be true you know what
[01:14:05] You might never find the love of your life
[01:14:07] And if you accept that
[01:14:10] You might be a happier person
[01:14:12] You know you did
[01:14:16] You know what she looked like
[01:14:18] With no fear Lady Tremaine immediately uses the wand to turn all the guards into various animals
[01:14:23] As they lunge for her she proceeds to do the same with Anastasia and Drizella
[01:14:27] Telling her to turn Anastasia into a toad
[01:14:29] Determined to defend Anastasia for her honesty and save the whole kingdom
[01:14:34] Cinderella jumps in front of her and forbids her stepmother to use any more magic
[01:14:38] When an unfazed Lady Tremaine attempts to turn both Cinderella and Anastasia into toads
[01:14:44] The prince steps in uses his trusty sword to reflect the spell
[01:14:48] It hits both Lady Tremaine and Drizella causing them to disappear
[01:14:51] And repeat it in the cellar as toads
[01:14:53] All we needed this whole time was a reflective surface
[01:14:57] So he had Godric's sword?
[01:15:00] Like how did he get it from?
[01:15:02] And just like with the basilisk
[01:15:04] If you use a mirror
[01:15:06] You're not looking directly into the basilisk's eyes
[01:15:08] Also on Bowie's planning we're doing a lot of comparisons between the various Tonys and David Bowie's life
[01:15:13] It's really, it's very interesting
[01:15:15] Like Tony Bennett
[01:15:16] You're gonna have to listen
[01:15:18] Well Tony DeFries and Tony Visconti are the two
[01:15:21] Sort of opposite Tonys
[01:15:23] Tony DeFries is, we call him Batman
[01:15:25] Broadway Awards
[01:15:27] No, no
[01:15:29] Okay, he probably won one, I'm sure
[01:15:31] Oh god, no
[01:15:33] Okay, almost done
[01:15:34] So Anastasia reunites Cinderella with the prince
[01:15:36] Then she picks up the wand and transforms herself back to her normal ugly appearance
[01:15:41] And she gives the wand to Cinderella who forgives her by thanking her
[01:15:44] And the two reconcile putting their animosity firmly behind them
[01:15:48] Both Cinderella and Anastasia bring back the fairy godmother from her stone state
[01:15:53] Running in her
[01:15:57] And Anastasia attempts to give the seashell back to the king believing she doesn't deserve it
[01:16:02] Only for him to let her keep it saying everyone deserves true love
[01:16:07] Unless you're Anastasia and in this movie
[01:16:10] That's right
[01:16:11] Does everyone
[01:16:13] Is there a way to love?
[01:16:15] It totally sets, it like it sets it up
[01:16:19] It does, absolutely
[01:16:20] It's like t-ball, you put that ball on the t
[01:16:23] On the t
[01:16:24] And you're like, Anastasia is going to knock this one
[01:16:27] She's at least going to lightly tap it
[01:16:30] And it will roll towards the pitcher or something
[01:16:33] No, no, no, no
[01:16:35] If she's using the indication, she sees like a reasonably good looking guard
[01:16:40] Right?
[01:16:42] She sees him from across the room and they fall in love
[01:16:44] That's just how that works
[01:16:45] Something, like they give us
[01:16:47] No, not even a little hint
[01:16:50] Not even the faintest little shard of hope
[01:16:54] That we're going to get some resolution with Anastasia
[01:16:59] Instead it's just nothing
[01:17:01] It's just here's this character who has growth
[01:17:04] Who like, yeah let's reward her by
[01:17:07] Okay maybe she finds someone who
[01:17:09] I mean, kind of an ogre too
[01:17:12] Okay cool
[01:17:13] Like she can find a shape similar to her
[01:17:16] As it often happens in these movies
[01:17:19] Because that's what love is
[01:17:20] You find somebody who is drawn in the same style that you are
[01:17:24] Correct
[01:17:25] Now to finish up, the fairy godmother's like
[01:17:29] Hey guys, do you want me to put it back to normal
[01:17:31] Like it was before and they're like what?
[01:17:33] They never knew before
[01:17:35] This was the most confusing thing ever
[01:17:39] Yeah, what's the point?
[01:17:41] Like we've got to have to be ending
[01:17:44] We've got to have to be ending
[01:17:45] It doesn't matter
[01:17:46] Should it?
[01:17:48] I don't know
[01:17:49] I mean those people spent a whole year together
[01:17:51] And they might have grown
[01:17:52] They might have had the happiest of their lives
[01:17:54] And now they've just erased it
[01:17:56] Here's the point though
[01:17:57] These two people did not know that existed
[01:18:00] These two people only have known each other for a day
[01:18:03] They didn't know they had a year
[01:18:05] They didn't know about that year
[01:18:06] It's like what are you talking about
[01:18:08] Or let's go back to normal
[01:18:09] What normal, all we've known
[01:18:12] Is that we met last night at a dance
[01:18:14] And here we are
[01:18:15] Let's just erase everything that we had together
[01:18:19] But they don't know that they had it together Dan
[01:18:22] These two people have only known each other a day
[01:18:25] Time travel, top jewelry
[01:18:27] It's not even that the point is
[01:18:29] These two are meant to be together
[01:18:31] That is the point
[01:18:32] It doesn't matter what it is
[01:18:33] If it's today, if it's a year from now
[01:18:35] Two years ago
[01:18:36] They're meant to be together
[01:18:37] That's the point of this story
[01:18:38] What's a year?
[01:18:39] What's time?
[01:18:40] What's progress?
[01:18:41] No, because they just met last night
[01:18:43] Yeah, it doesn't matter
[01:18:44] You're pretty
[01:18:45] You're hunky
[01:18:46] You got a boat
[01:18:47] I got another step sister
[01:18:48] Who's going to be alone forever
[01:18:49] Let's point and laugh at her
[01:18:50] Make fun of her
[01:18:51] We could throw rotten food at her
[01:18:53] And be like, ah
[01:18:54] Let's, let's
[01:18:55] You got any plans tonight?
[01:18:57] Just kidding, you're ugly
[01:18:59] But what do you do that for good people?
[01:19:02] The Ending Credits show several paintings
[01:19:04] Depicting the main cast
[01:19:05] Before showing the mid-credit scene
[01:19:07] That shows both Drizella
[01:19:09] And Lady Tremaine
[01:19:10] Being restored to their human forms
[01:19:12] Right
[01:19:13] But in the exact same servant dress
[01:19:14] They forced Cinderella to wear
[01:19:16] With the, and with brooms
[01:19:19] Indicating that they will now work
[01:19:20] In the palace as servants
[01:19:21] Right
[01:19:22] To their horror
[01:19:23] And does a single one of those pictures
[01:19:24] Show Anastasia being like
[01:19:26] Hey, what's up soldier
[01:19:29] Who was weirdly drawn like me
[01:19:32] Let's at least get ice cream
[01:19:34] Or something
[01:19:35] Let's have some kind of hope
[01:19:37] Let's tie up this thing
[01:19:39] That this movie halfway promised us
[01:19:41] Nope, never existed
[01:19:43] Guys
[01:19:44] They show her with the baker
[01:19:47] Do they?
[01:19:48] Yes, there's a painting of
[01:19:50] Anastasia making eyes
[01:19:53] At the baker like from the first movie
[01:19:55] Or the second movie
[01:19:56] Did you see the movie ever after?
[01:19:58] Yes
[01:20:00] That happens in that movie
[01:20:01] Same, everything that just happened
[01:20:02] I described that happened in that movie
[01:20:04] Anastasia had an arc
[01:20:05] Drizella and the stepmother
[01:20:06] End up working in the kitchen
[01:20:08] Or you know, it's maids or whatever
[01:20:10] And Anastasia falls in love with the baker
[01:20:12] So then
[01:20:14] Okay, if that happens
[01:20:15] Hold on
[01:20:16] And I'm not saying it didn't
[01:20:18] If I will
[01:20:20] I will retract
[01:20:23] 20% of my butt-hurtedness
[01:20:25] About this movie
[01:20:27] If that is in fact the case
[01:20:30] Okay, 19
[01:20:32] I know it was the case in the ever after movie
[01:20:34] With very more of the horrible, horrible accent
[01:20:36] That she had
[01:20:37] Okay, so wait
[01:20:38] But hold on
[01:20:39] Is the frog scene a post-credits scene
[01:20:42] Or a mid-credits scene
[01:20:43] Because I thought it was a post-credits scene
[01:20:45] It's a mid
[01:20:46] I think it's a mid
[01:20:47] All right, well then I was wrong
[01:20:48] And I'm sorry for misleading you guys earlier
[01:20:50] On in this episode
[01:20:53] Because there is no post-credits scene
[01:20:55] As far as I'm aware
[01:20:56] There's only the mid-credits scene
[01:20:58] Yeah, I don't think there is
[01:20:59] No, there's not
[01:21:00] Because I watched and it was just Mickey Mouse
[01:21:02] But there is a painting with Anastasia and the baker
[01:21:07] I don't know, are we know this for sure?
[01:21:09] Yeah
[01:21:10] I mean, Audrey if you say it's there
[01:21:12] I believe you
[01:21:13] It's there
[01:21:14] So at least we have that
[01:21:15] Okay
[01:21:16] Okay
[01:21:17] Then
[01:21:18] Okay, hold on
[01:21:20] I'm gonna describe what I'm seeing
[01:21:23] Here we go
[01:21:24] Okay
[01:21:25] Hold on
[01:21:27] Go for it
[01:21:28] Hold on
[01:21:30] Well, things are taking a while
[01:21:31] Okay, we're at the end credits
[01:21:33] And we see a picture
[01:21:35] A painting of the king
[01:21:37] I'm gonna turn off the music
[01:21:38] And on his shoulders are Jacques and Gus
[01:21:40] Yeah, cute
[01:21:41] The unit director was Andrew Collins
[01:21:43] Yep
[01:21:44] Good job, Andrew
[01:21:45] That's good
[01:21:46] And by the way
[01:21:48] The singer of that song
[01:21:50] Is a girl I don't remember
[01:21:52] Okay, now the next picture we have
[01:21:54] A bunch of cheese
[01:21:55] And Gus has passed out
[01:21:56] Having eaten all the cheese
[01:21:58] Cause he's fast and they're mine
[01:21:59] Cause he's fast
[01:22:00] Yep, they're mine
[01:22:01] Nice love cheese
[01:22:02] The voice casting and dialogue director
[01:22:04] Was Jamie Sinclair
[01:22:05] Jennifer Hale of Cinderella
[01:22:07] CD Barnes is the prince
[01:22:08] Also from Sarah
[01:22:09] Yep
[01:22:11] And then our next picture
[01:22:13] Is a pumpkin
[01:22:15] And the fairy godmother
[01:22:17] Who made
[01:22:18] She won first place
[01:22:20] For the world's largest pumpkin
[01:22:21] That's cheating
[01:22:22] She obviously is magic to make that grow
[01:22:25] Suzanne Blankley
[01:22:26] Maybe she didn't
[01:22:27] Yes, MacKeeley, Roussi Taylor
[01:22:28] Andres Sibyoka
[01:22:30] Paul and Taylor
[01:22:31] Rob Paulson
[01:22:32] Corey Burton
[01:22:33] Frank Welker
[01:22:34] Lucifer
[01:22:35] Thank you
[01:22:38] Alright, the next picture is
[01:22:40] Some main street silhouettes
[01:22:43] Of the prince
[01:22:46] Princess, the king, Gus and Jacques
[01:22:50] We're going along the wall
[01:22:51] With their wallpaper
[01:22:52] Original songs by Alan Zachary
[01:22:54] And Michael Weiner
[01:22:57] Hardly newer
[01:22:59] Okay, then we have a picture of Gus
[01:23:02] Dressed up as like a Duke
[01:23:05] With a feathery hat
[01:23:06] Oh, he's a boy blue
[01:23:09] Is that what it is?
[01:23:11] Yeah
[01:23:12] I like the reference that they're getting here
[01:23:14] Lisa Linders
[01:23:15] By the way, if you want to see the blue boy painting
[01:23:17] You can go to
[01:23:18] Oh, these are pictures like in the photo gallery
[01:23:20] They have a big ugly one
[01:23:22] Huntington Library
[01:23:23] My friend there
[01:23:24] In Pasadena, California
[01:23:26] Russell Eaton was the editor
[01:23:29] If you'd like to visit Pasadena, California
[01:23:31] If you'd like to visit Pasadena, California
[01:23:32] He's the associate producer
[01:23:33] You could book your trip through concierge
[01:23:35] 856, alright, next picture
[01:23:37] We have Cinderella and her prince
[01:23:39] In a heart
[01:23:41] In a frame
[01:23:42] And we cut the black
[01:23:45] Where then
[01:23:46] You see in mid credits
[01:23:48] Two frogs
[01:23:49] Who now turn into
[01:23:52] The
[01:23:53] Up there
[01:23:54] Outrage because they had to wear brooms
[01:23:56] I see no picture of bakers, Audrey
[01:23:59] What?
[01:24:01] The blatant lie
[01:24:02] No, it's like the first one
[01:24:04] It's like a picture of
[01:24:05] Oh, I missed it then
[01:24:07] Okay
[01:24:11] Am I hallucinating?
[01:24:13] Oh, why me Dan
[01:24:14] While I'm looking for this
[01:24:15] They
[01:24:16] I feel like a big gaslet
[01:24:17] While we're watching this movie
[01:24:19] While we're watching this movie
[01:24:21] You know what we're gonna drink?
[01:24:23] It's from Parliament Brewing Company
[01:24:25] You know what it's called?
[01:24:27] Cinderella
[01:24:28] Cinderella's revenge
[01:24:31] I was guessing
[01:24:32] Guess what kind of beer it is
[01:24:34] It's a blonde
[01:24:35] It's a pumpkin
[01:24:37] Of course
[01:24:38] Pumpkin, yam
[01:24:40] Cinderella famously loves her pumpkins so much
[01:24:43] By the way, could we at least
[01:24:46] At one point in one of these damn movies
[01:24:48] Have Cinderella be like
[01:24:49] Mmm, it's pumpkin
[01:24:50] You know how much I love pumpkins
[01:24:52] Like, have it actually be a thing for her
[01:24:55] Instead it's just a thing
[01:24:57] People are constantly choosing for her
[01:24:59] It's like there's so many other
[01:25:01] Like, gourd vegetables
[01:25:03] Why not a squash?
[01:25:05] You know what would be appropriate
[01:25:07] Is if the prince's name was Gordon
[01:25:09] Yeah
[01:25:10] I mean
[01:25:11] They call them gourd
[01:25:12] That's so good
[01:25:15] That's so funny
[01:25:16] Anyway, so this beer
[01:25:18] This beer is a
[01:25:21] It's got 7.5% ABV
[01:25:24] There are 42 ratings of this beer on
[01:25:27] Beer Advocate
[01:25:29] But the
[01:25:31] Beer Advocate, keep fighting for the beer
[01:25:34] Thank you
[01:25:35] This is one of the reviews
[01:25:36] Subtle spice doesn't hit you over the head
[01:25:39] Nice
[01:25:43] That's what I feel about this movie
[01:25:44] Okay, here are the credits
[01:25:45] Directed by Frank Pison
[01:25:46] First picture
[01:25:48] Audrey, first picture
[01:25:50] Is a picture
[01:25:52] Of a reasonably sized, reasonably attractive
[01:25:55] Baker holding out a cupcake
[01:25:57] I
[01:25:58] To Anastasia
[01:25:59] Who is sitting
[01:26:01] Okay
[01:26:02] With her
[01:26:03] If we were on video
[01:26:04] You could see this picture
[01:26:06] She's kind of flushing
[01:26:07] She's being presented a pink cupcake
[01:26:09] To match her dress
[01:26:10] I knew it
[01:26:11] Redeemed
[01:26:12] Redemption
[01:26:13] How did we miss that the first time
[01:26:15] You watched those
[01:26:16] Is he the same shape as her?
[01:26:18] I'm just immediately off
[01:26:20] Is he the same shape as her?
[01:26:23] He's not in the early shape
[01:26:25] He's a little more rotund
[01:26:27] But does he have a
[01:26:29] Commonly weird nose like she does
[01:26:31] Of course
[01:26:32] Then it's true
[01:26:33] He wears all blue
[01:26:35] She wears all pink
[01:26:36] Perfect
[01:26:37] She's a boy
[01:26:38] She wears blue
[01:26:39] She's a girl
[01:26:40] She wears pink
[01:26:41] Alright
[01:26:42] You guys Dan
[01:26:43] Or Audrey
[01:26:44] You tell us what we're going to eat
[01:26:45] And then Dan, the music
[01:26:46] I'm going to
[01:26:47] AFK
[01:26:48] You're not going to see it
[01:26:49] Who's hungry
[01:26:50] We're having
[01:26:51] Pansanella
[01:26:52] A twist of lime
[01:26:53] So
[01:26:54] It's going to be
[01:26:55] Chipotle
[01:26:56] Chipotle lime chicken
[01:27:04] Hint of lime
[01:27:06] Tortilla chips
[01:27:08] I unironically love those
[01:27:10] They're so good
[01:27:11] Bread salad
[01:27:12] That's what pansanella is
[01:27:14] A side of nutella
[01:27:16] And then for dessert
[01:27:17] Key lime pie
[01:27:19] Mmm
[01:27:21] Alright
[01:27:23] We're going to listen to
[01:27:26] Is Anton Weber
[01:27:29] In Concerto for Nine Instruments
[01:27:32] Woah
[01:27:33] Yeah
[01:27:35] So the reason I picked this
[01:27:38] Is
[01:27:41] Anton Weber was a dude who made music
[01:27:45] That
[01:27:46] And I'm just going to paraphrase
[01:27:49] My friend Derek who kind of introduced me to this
[01:27:52] Composer
[01:27:53] He would make music
[01:27:56] For the express intention of
[01:27:58] Drawing you in closer
[01:28:00] And closer
[01:28:01] And getting you more interested
[01:28:04] Only just to slap you with his dick
[01:28:06] And that's kind of what this
[01:28:09] So he was part of
[01:28:11] I don't know how far into this I want to get
[01:28:14] He made music that was intentionally ugly
[01:28:17] With, in the same time period that people were making music
[01:28:21] That was intentionally ugly
[01:28:24] But he did it in a way that
[01:28:27] Was actually occasionally pretty
[01:28:29] But again only to, you know,
[01:28:31] Dicks slap you
[01:28:32] Rude
[01:28:33] There's more history to it
[01:28:35] It was basically a lot of people were
[01:28:39] Up to a certain point thinking
[01:28:41] Well let's make art and music
[01:28:43] That's celebrating the glory and beauty of humanity
[01:28:46] And how glorious and virtuous we all are
[01:28:49] And then World War I happened
[01:28:51] And they were like, oh maybe
[01:28:53] Maybe we're not so great
[01:28:55] And that was a reaction to that
[01:28:57] Anyway here is, here's this
[01:29:00] Good Colin now
[01:29:02] Phil Nye's real good
[01:29:07] If anyone would like to hear some more serialism
[01:29:12] Colin, Phil Nye's your open air
[01:29:15] 8.5.6 our ears
[01:29:17] God this must be hard to play
[01:29:23] Cause like nothing makes any sense
[01:29:26] Sure is hard to listen to am I right
[01:29:28] Actually I really enjoy it
[01:29:30] Dan
[01:29:38] Why, why?
[01:29:40] What?
[01:29:42] Is that a real question?
[01:29:44] No don't answer that
[01:29:45] If that's a real question I can answer it
[01:29:48] No
[01:29:50] Okay
[01:29:54] Have we hit the beautiful part yet?
[01:29:58] Well I guess in comparison you haven't
[01:30:00] I'm not playing the other composers
[01:30:03] That were making aggressively ugly music
[01:30:12] I'm gonna just sit in a dark room after this
[01:30:16] And just weep a little I think
[01:30:20] I mean it is telling that this is considered
[01:30:23] Comparatively pretty
[01:30:28] Compared to some of the other things that were going on
[01:30:32] Yeah, I can
[01:30:34] Look I'm not gonna be that douchebag who is arguing
[01:30:37] That who's gonna argue that atonal music
[01:30:40] Is actually really lovely
[01:30:43] And everyone should love it
[01:30:45] It's not
[01:30:46] But again that's the point
[01:30:48] And I think if you
[01:30:53] I am only willing to be that douchebag
[01:30:56] For Anton Vabrin because he actually did some interesting things
[01:31:00] But having said that I completely understand
[01:31:03] That reaction of like okay what's happening
[01:31:06] This is awful
[01:31:08] And I think
[01:31:10] Just in case anyone is interested
[01:31:13] In any sort of explanation
[01:31:16] Where that
[01:31:18] Where they ended up playing
[01:31:20] These composers ended up playing with
[01:31:23] Dynamics more than notation
[01:31:25] Where the notes themselves don't matter
[01:31:27] But you could have like
[01:31:30] They are yeah yeah
[01:31:32] So like you could create
[01:31:34] You could still create a movement
[01:31:36] Or a motion
[01:31:38] Or a character arc for example
[01:31:40] I see where you're going
[01:31:42] Without using the traditional
[01:31:47] Without using the traditional tools
[01:31:49] That you would expect to hear
[01:31:51] So once you throw notation and key
[01:31:54] And tone out the window
[01:31:56] It's what do you have left
[01:31:58] Well it's just dynamics
[01:32:00] Couldn't that be the thesis statement
[01:32:04] For all of these movies
[01:32:06] This entire podcast
[01:32:09] When you throw quality and
[01:32:12] Take all the key and
[01:32:14] Yeah just throw it out
[01:32:16] And just figure out a way to
[01:32:18] Take money from the rubes
[01:32:21] That's my thing
[01:32:23] That's funny
[01:32:25] Well done
[01:32:27] Well done Dan
[01:32:28] Thank you
[01:32:29] So Dan mentioned concierge
[01:32:32] We plan vacations for people
[01:32:36] Concierge are going to be together
[01:32:38] When does this come out Dan?
[01:32:40] As soon as I can get it edited
[01:32:42] Before our trip
[01:32:44] What you're about to talk about
[01:32:45] Alright so if you're listening to this
[01:32:47] Immediately upon release
[01:32:48] Then you can find us at Disneyland
[01:32:50] On June 10th and 11th
[01:32:54] At June 12th
[01:32:56] You can find us at Knott's Berry Farm
[01:32:58] Audrey, Dan and myself
[01:32:59] Let's go
[01:33:00] And that night
[01:33:01] June 12th
[01:33:02] You can find us at Medieval Times
[01:33:04] We'll be fighting for the blue night
[01:33:08] The green night is a scoundrel
[01:33:10] Oh yeah that guy
[01:33:12] Oh that's right
[01:33:14] Tinkerverse Dan tell us about Tinkerverse
[01:33:16] Tinkerverse
[01:33:18] Here's what I am proposing
[01:33:20] How many Tinkerbell movies are there?
[01:33:23] 72
[01:33:25] What?
[01:33:27] Hold on
[01:33:29] Keep talking
[01:33:30] Okay so I'm going to have
[01:33:32] Some of a break coming up
[01:33:34] You are going to have some of a break coming up Jimmy
[01:33:36] Yes in terms of like your
[01:33:38] Well kids I don't know how much that is
[01:33:40] It's a week now man
[01:33:42] What's that?
[01:33:43] Kids have been out of school for a week
[01:33:45] That's right
[01:33:46] So and Audrey I know you
[01:33:49] Work a real job
[01:33:51] So your schedule would be the hardest one
[01:33:55] To work around with this
[01:33:57] But it's doable
[01:33:59] What if we set aside a day
[01:34:02] And we watch these movies
[01:34:04] In that day
[01:34:06] A marathon?
[01:34:07] Yeah we did talk about that
[01:34:09] We did talk about that
[01:34:10] Should we like together
[01:34:12] Or like on Zoom
[01:34:14] I mean the main thing is that we do it
[01:34:17] In one sitting
[01:34:19] If we do it on Zoom that's fine
[01:34:21] But if we do it together
[01:34:23] That would be just Jimmy you flying out to
[01:34:26] San Diego and if that's what you want to do
[01:34:28] Something I want to do
[01:34:30] Something that's feasible I'm not sure
[01:34:32] But before we do that I do have to throw a wrinkle in this
[01:34:34] Yeah
[01:34:36] We have the Little Mermaid Arrows beginning
[01:34:39] Comes before Tinkerbell
[01:34:41] And then we have Tinkerbell
[01:34:43] And then we have Tigger and Poo
[01:34:45] And a musical too
[01:34:47] And then we have Tinkerbell
[01:34:49] And the Lost Treasure
[01:34:51] And the Great Fairy Rescue
[01:34:53] Tinkerbell, Syncret of the Wings
[01:34:55] And the Great Fairy
[01:34:57] And then Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Never Feast
[01:34:59] So we have one, two, three, four, five, six
[01:35:01] Tinkerbell movies
[01:35:03] Yeah I say we do it all in one day
[01:35:05] Maybe not record
[01:35:07] And maybe not record the full episodes
[01:35:09] Or maybe we do record the full episodes
[01:35:11] Like in between each one
[01:35:13] But maybe not like
[01:35:15] As long as the episodes are
[01:35:17] Maybe we can cover like two
[01:35:19] Every two movies we record
[01:35:21] But the point is to reach
[01:35:23] Reach peak exhaustion
[01:35:25] I'm really missing on drinking
[01:35:27] And to just really
[01:35:29] Like
[01:35:31] I mean the clothes
[01:35:33] It's the closing of the chapter
[01:35:35] For the show
[01:35:37] I mean let's really punish ourselves
[01:35:39] For taking this project
[01:35:41] I mean bring it on
[01:35:43] I like
[01:35:45] I'm going to counter
[01:35:47] I do too, I'm going to counter that Dan
[01:35:49] By saying let's do Little Mermaid
[01:35:51] Ariel's beginning
[01:35:53] Right just regular
[01:35:55] Regular style
[01:35:57] And then we do Tinkerbell
[01:35:59] Regular show
[01:36:01] And then we do Tigger and Pooh in a musical too
[01:36:03] And then we do the remaining five
[01:36:05] All at once
[01:36:07] Oh because that's the release order
[01:36:09] Yes I'm all for it
[01:36:11] I like this idea because
[01:36:13] It's like suspenseful
[01:36:15] We get like this tiny little tease
[01:36:17] Of what Tinkerbell might be like
[01:36:19] Then we forget about it
[01:36:21] When we watch Pooh and then we
[01:36:23] Punish ourselves
[01:36:25] And here's another idea that we might
[01:36:27] Want to add in, we can have a different
[01:36:29] Guest for each
[01:36:31] Each of the Tinkerbell movies
[01:36:33] And that way and they will have
[01:36:35] No content so like the third
[01:36:37] Whoever the third guest is will have
[01:36:39] No context for why we are the way
[01:36:41] We are
[01:36:43] How does that work
[01:36:46] Like can you just figure it out
[01:36:48] Yeah we can figure it out
[01:36:50] But I think
[01:36:52] It'll take some planning
[01:36:54] But I think
[01:36:56] I think it's what we deserve
[01:36:58] What we deserve
[01:37:00] All the listeners
[01:37:02] Who are angry at me
[01:37:04] For apparently hating everything
[01:37:06] It's what I deserve
[01:37:08] It's what the listeners
[01:37:10] Deserve in a positive way
[01:37:14] So if I'm doing the math correctly
[01:37:16] Yeah this movie comes out in June
[01:37:18] Or this movie, episode comes out in June
[01:37:20] Right
[01:37:22] And then
[01:37:24] We can figure out that stuff
[01:37:26] Like on the back end
[01:37:28] I'm thinking about physically being there
[01:37:30] Oh I see
[01:37:32] So I'm just working the math
[01:37:34] So June is
[01:37:36] This one July is a little
[01:37:38] Mermaid August is Tinkerbell
[01:37:40] September is Tigger
[01:37:42] So we could do the October
[01:37:44] Before we get to the dealer's choices
[01:37:46] I could make it out there
[01:37:48] For October
[01:37:50] Talks marking
[01:37:52] Yeah
[01:37:54] We can totally do that
[01:37:56] So let's work on it
[01:37:58] And figure out what that means
[01:38:00] Let's take it back
[01:38:02] It's gonna be bivri-body booked
[01:38:06] Should we be kind and
[01:38:08] Do the thing
[01:38:10] Yeah we should
[01:38:12] Do we have any more things you want to talk about
[01:38:14] Who we talked about on the other podcast
[01:38:16] Also
[01:38:18] Other shows
[01:38:20] Supreme Resort
[01:38:22] Phantom Milk
[01:38:24] And also
[01:38:26] A very happy 50th birthday
[01:38:28] To Eli
[01:38:30] Happy birthday Eli
[01:38:32] Happy birthday Eli
[01:38:34] Thanks for having me at your party
[01:38:36] Thanks for lunch
[01:38:38] Count to 6
[01:38:40] Call us, email us
[01:38:42] The end
[01:38:44] And we can't see each other
[01:38:46] So we're going to do a very happy audio
[01:38:48] Ah
[01:38:50] Until next time
[01:38:52] Be kind
[01:38:54] And
[01:38:56] Be right
[01:39:00] Oh Lord the Cajun brothers
[01:39:04] It's million of us
[01:39:06] Avergusts
[01:39:08] Oh no Harry
[01:39:10] We used the time turner
[01:39:12] And now we've gone meddled
[01:39:14] With time where we shouldn't have
[01:39:16] From the ashes of your local blockbuster video
[01:39:26] It's Trab, everything by Supreme Resort
[01:39:28] T.S. R.P.S.C.Cash Grab
[01:39:30] This is the show where we
[01:39:32] Talk about, we news, we review
[01:39:34] The
[01:39:36] Straight to video Disney sequels starting with today's
[01:39:38] Movie
[01:39:40] Movie? It's a movie right
[01:39:42] The return of Jafar
[01:39:44] Also known as Aladdin 2
[01:39:46] Electric Boogaloo
[01:39:48] Not going to be the last time I make that joke
[01:39:50] With me is
[01:39:52] A familiar voice for those of you who
[01:39:54] Listen to Ears Up Network
[01:39:56] It's Jimmy
[01:39:58] Hey everybody, welcome back
[01:40:00] And we also have a new face
[01:40:02] For your ears, we have Audrey joining us
[01:40:04] Hello
[01:40:06] Welcome
[01:40:08] Thank you, so glad to be here
[01:40:10] Yeah, so return of Jafar Dan
[01:40:12] This was the very first
[01:40:14] Straight to video sequel
[01:40:16] It was made by Walt Disney
[01:40:18] Television Animation
[01:40:20] And it is very clear
[01:40:22] That it was made by television animation
[01:40:24] How many times have you watched this
[01:40:26] Movie? Once today
[01:40:28] And I've seen it before
[01:40:30] But I didn't remember any of it
[01:40:32] So that's why I wanted to start with this one
[01:40:34] Because I didn't remember a thing
[01:40:36] I even wrote down what I thought it was
[01:40:38] Going to be about and I was partially
[01:40:40] Correct but that was just kind of logic
[01:40:42] Anyway, so this was the first straight to video
[01:40:44] Sequel
[01:40:46] And that's why I wanted to start with this one
[01:40:48] But we thought Cash Grab would be a fun show
[01:40:50] To talk about these lesser known
[01:40:52] Sequels
[01:40:54] To these animated classics
[01:40:56] And we talked about our format
[01:40:58] So first what we're going to do
[01:41:00] Scrub that floor
[01:41:02] Then wax it and then if there's time
[01:41:04] You can go to the book
[01:41:06] Scrubbing, waxing
[01:41:08] Once doing the floor was hard work
[01:41:10] It became mop and glow
[01:41:12] Mop and glow cleans and shines at the same time
[01:41:14] Just damp mop and the floor is beautiful
[01:41:16] In minutes
[01:41:18] Once upon a time a beautiful floor
[01:41:20] Was hard work
[01:41:22] Now you can clean and shine with
[01:41:24] Mop and glow
[01:41:26] The next best thing to a fairy god mother
[01:41:31] Don't cry, give this a try
[01:41:33] Shippity shoppity
[01:41:35] Now you need
[01:41:37] A little more love
[01:41:39] And a prince
[01:41:41] Oh, uh
[01:41:43] No thank you
[01:41:45] I'll take the car though
[01:41:47] With the H team and Toyota certified
[01:41:49] Innings dreams to come true
[01:41:51] No!
[01:41:53] Package deal
