[00:00:02] It's time for the show that brings the magic right to your speakers. Ears Up! What's up everybody? Welcome to EarzUp Presented by PunyPod, the podcast that brings you the latest news and reviews from all things Disney. I'm Ryan and I'm here with my co-host,

[00:00:25] Ashure and David. Hey, but munches. What's up Disney nerds? Today we are talking about Guardians of the Galaxy mission breakout, the thrilling attraction at Disney's California Adventure. I love this ride. Same here and I'm not scared to go on it at all because I'm a big boy. The

[00:00:48] guardians are such a fun group of characters and this ride really brings them to life. For those who haven't been on the ride yet, Ashure, can you give a brief description of what it's like?

[00:00:59] Sure. So, you enter the collector's fortress, which is filled with all kinds of artifacts and treasures from the Marvel Universe. The Enraki Racklund shows up and explains that the Guardians of the Galaxy have been captured in our being held inside the fortress. Just like my Canadian

[00:01:16] girlfriend who I've kissed like a thousand times. And that's where you come in. Rocket needs your help to break out of the Guardians so he takes you on a wild ride to the fortress, dodging obstacles

[00:01:27] and fighting off enemies along the way. In the right itself, it's a trap tower, right? That's right. There are six different drop sequences so you never know exactly how higher low you go. And they're all in the dark which totally doesn't scare me. And the

[00:01:45] officer had perfectly timed with the pop music and the action on the screen so it really feels like your part of the adventure. I have to say I was a little skeptical when they announced that they

[00:01:55] were replacing Tower of Terror, which is such a classic ride with this ride. But after going on in a few times I'm a total convert. Same here. I love Tower of Terror, but mission break out is just

[00:02:08] so much fun. And the theming is amazing. It's a great ride. I love all the little details as you wait for hours in the queue. Like the crates label with reference to other Marvel movies and lots of

[00:02:21] the collectors relics. And the music, music is just so good. The ride has an awesome soundtrack featuring classic rock hits from the 60s and 70s. And the whole thing is just so energetic and

[00:02:35] upbeat. You can't help but feel pumped up after riding it. Just like how I feel after drinking today's sponsor, purple stuff. Purple stuff definitely. I think Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Break out is a great example of how Disney can take an existing property.

[00:02:52] Spend a lot of money, refurbish it and then turn it into a better attraction that appeals to fans and non-fans alike. And the Guardians of the Galaxy being such a big part of the MCU,

[00:03:04] which you can hear about more on punypot. I think this ride will continue to be popular for years to come. Well, let's say thanks to all the listeners for yet another episode of The Eres Up

[00:03:25] Main Show, Ryan Asher and I will be back next week as always with more Disney news and reviews. See you in the parks! You see Jason that's how you do a show in under 15 minutes. For a spiked.
