[00:00:00] Welcome to Puny Pod's Monthly Bugle for October 2024. My name is Ryan and my co-host as always is David. David, how are we doing this October evening?

[00:00:12] We are doing great. We are taking a little break from postseason baseball to record a show. How are you doing?

[00:00:20] Uh, yeah, postseason baseball. That's a thing. Yeah, I'm nervous, but I also missed the first couple innings of the Dodgers game tonight, so we're recording. You guys will hear this next Tuesday. I promise I'm actually going to release it on time this time. I'm sorry, guys, for the last couple releases, but you'll hear this next Tuesday, so you'll know how the whole series has played out.

[00:00:47] Well, I'll give you a little timely update. Top of the seventh, two outs, Padres, Willie Peralta pitching, Evan Phillips. I'm kidding. Stop.

[00:00:58] So, yeah, I think I saw 6-0 last I saw. I'm trying not to watch because I turned it on and the Padres got their first hit of the game.

[00:01:10] And even though I know that there is absolutely nothing that the little pixels in my phone are doing to influence the actual things going on in San Diego, I don't know.

[00:01:23] It makes my brain feel happier if I can have deniability.

[00:01:28] Could it have, like, some sort of, like, electronic glimmer that blinded the left fielder, let it drop in front for a blooper?

[00:01:35] Yeah, it's the butterfly effect. I turn on my phone here.

[00:01:40] You know, that changes the ambient temperature a little bit.

[00:01:44] It causes a gust of wind that, I don't know, changes the trajectory of the ball.

[00:01:51] I don't know. I'm pulling...

[00:01:52] Language! Language!

[00:01:54] Oh, that's a language.

[00:01:55] I was going to say, it's a double.

[00:01:57] Yeah, I was going to say, I think my seeing Madam Web in the theater is what Jinx did as well.

[00:02:02] So I share your similar viewpoint.

[00:02:07] All righty.

[00:02:08] Well, we are here.

[00:02:10] We are in October.

[00:02:12] So we do have a little...

[00:02:15] A few things to go over here.

[00:02:17] So we have some current content.

[00:02:18] We've got Agatha all along going on.

[00:02:20] I will insert a tag here.

[00:02:25] Hey guys, Ryan in the editing bay here.

[00:02:28] I am just checking in real quick.

[00:02:30] There's actually way, way more that we're going to talk about that is not spoilery.

[00:02:35] So please hold on.

[00:02:36] I will jump right back in at the spoiler point to give you your mark.

[00:02:41] So hang out.

[00:02:42] Listen to us chat for a minute.

[00:02:44] And then I will see you guys after our quick chat here.

[00:02:48] To tell you where to jump to.

[00:02:51] So when I go back and edit it, I'll throw in a tag to tell you what timestamp to go to to avoid Agatha spoilers.

[00:02:58] We will be covering episodes one through four.

[00:03:02] We are recording this on the night that five released, but neither of us had time to watch it.

[00:03:07] So we're covering episodes one through four.

[00:03:10] We'll cover the rest of the series next month on the bugle.

[00:03:14] Don't put the spoiler warnings in.

[00:03:15] It's been out since the 18th.

[00:03:17] It's on you people.

[00:03:18] By the time it's come out, they'll be out a month.

[00:03:19] Come on now.

[00:03:21] Go watch it.

[00:03:21] It's free.

[00:03:24] And then we have a little bit of news.

[00:03:26] Not too much news.

[00:03:27] It's kind of slow right now, which is frankly kind of good.

[00:03:32] I think that this is kind of one of those times where no news is good news.

[00:03:37] They're just kind of steadily working on stuff, which is good stuff.

[00:03:44] And then we're actually going to do a special feature for spooky season.

[00:03:48] We're in October, so we might as well do something fun with October.

[00:03:51] We're going to do a little bit of a Halloween themed special feature.

[00:03:59] Some fun things to do for spooky season that are Marvel related.

[00:04:03] And we do get to visit the trailer park this month.

[00:04:07] So we'll get the trailer park at the end as well.

[00:04:10] And if you rate or review us, we will deliver you Halloween candy.

[00:04:14] There you go.

[00:04:16] Yeah.

[00:04:18] I'm a full-size bar kind of guy, so make sure you do that.

[00:04:24] I'm just going to leave that there.

[00:04:26] We'll let that speak for itself.

[00:04:28] All right.

[00:04:28] All right.

[00:04:29] Yeah.

[00:04:29] Well, let's jump head first into some Agatha all along, shall we?

[00:04:35] All right, guys.

[00:04:36] So, yeah.

[00:04:37] Before we jump in, as I mentioned, I wanted to give a quick spoiler warning.

[00:04:42] So if you jump forward to 35 minutes and 4 seconds, you will avoid all of the Agatha conversation.

[00:04:51] Everything that we have that's spoilery about Agatha, all of that is before 35 minutes and 4 seconds.

[00:04:59] Again, that's 3504.

[00:05:02] So jump ahead over to 3504.

[00:05:05] I gave myself a minute here, so I am filling that whole minute for you.

[00:05:11] Agatha's really good.

[00:05:13] So spoiler alert.

[00:05:14] I'm not giving any spoilers other than saying it's really good.

[00:05:18] Go watch it.

[00:05:19] Go watch it now.

[00:05:20] If you didn't like the first episode, watch the first episode.

[00:05:25] Watch the second episode, rather.

[00:05:27] And enjoy a little bit of some spooky season Marvel goodness.

[00:05:33] Anyway, I am just about out of time, so I'll see you after the break.

[00:05:37] So, again, we are going to be going through this.

[00:05:41] We'll, you know, there are going to be spoilers for Agatha.

[00:05:44] So just know.

[00:05:48] So episode number one title, Seekest Thou the Road.

[00:05:53] All the titles are various parts of The Witch's Ballad, which is a main kind of center point for this series.

[00:06:00] So season or so episode number one starts with a crime noir television series titled Agnes of Westview, where Agnes O'Connor is a police detective in Westview fixated on a Jane Doe murder case.

[00:06:20] One night, a teenager breaks into Agnes's house looking for, quote, the road.

[00:06:29] Agnes believes he is tied to the murder case and arrests him.

[00:06:33] Rio Vidal, who is an FBI agent, comes to Agnes and helps her realize that the Jane Doe she is seeing is actually Wanda Maximoff's body.

[00:06:47] And that Agnes is actually the witch, Agatha Harkness, who was trapped under the witch's spell for three years.

[00:06:55] Waking up from the spell, Agatha realizes that her powers are gone and that Rio, a fellow witch with whom Agatha has a history, is there to kill her.

[00:07:06] Agatha convinces Rio to spare her until she gets her powers back.

[00:07:10] But Rio warns Agatha that Salem, the Salem Seven will soon come after her after Rio leaves.

[00:07:17] Agatha is unsure what to do about the teen whom she actually kidnapped under the influence of Wanda's spell.

[00:07:25] I like the dramatic reading.

[00:07:27] It's like, OK, Teddy, let's tell you what happened to Agatha.

[00:07:32] You're way too young to watch it because it's super creepy.

[00:07:35] Yeah.

[00:07:36] So I like this episode.

[00:07:38] I did, too.

[00:07:39] I liked it a lot.

[00:07:40] I will say I've heard a lot of people who didn't like this episode.

[00:07:47] One thing I will note is that that I didn't recognize because I didn't see the original source material.

[00:07:53] This is almost shot for shot in some places, a parody of Mare of Easttown.

[00:08:00] Yeah, I heard the same thing.

[00:08:01] I liked it.

[00:08:02] It gave me true detective vibes.

[00:08:04] I think what I mentioned to you before.

[00:08:05] Yeah.

[00:08:06] And I liked that you don't quite understand what's going on, where you are, who's who.

[00:08:12] I liked it.

[00:08:13] And they kind of quickly resolve it.

[00:08:15] Yeah.

[00:08:16] And I it was definitely like a little bit of a.

[00:08:21] It was a risk to kind of do a misdirect in the first episode, right?

[00:08:24] The this first episode is not like the rest of the series.

[00:08:27] The rest of the series is very different.

[00:08:28] Right.

[00:08:29] Um.

[00:08:30] And so I do like that they took that risk.

[00:08:33] I was listening to some interviews with the cast and writers and directors, and they were

[00:08:40] talking about how.

[00:08:42] This first episode really ultimately what it's supposed to convey is like Agatha.

[00:08:48] Well, yes, she is now free of.

[00:08:52] Of Wanda's spell because Wanda's dead.

[00:08:56] Um.

[00:08:58] She's kind of going back into the spell because that's where it's comfortable.

[00:09:02] It's kind of a trauma response for for Agatha, like going back into the spell and doing a

[00:09:08] movie or doing a TV show parody is is like comfortable for her.

[00:09:12] So that's where she kind of retreats to.

[00:09:14] Yeah.

[00:09:15] Um.

[00:09:15] Which I didn't pick up in watching it, but hearing that explained, it totally clicked

[00:09:20] for me.

[00:09:20] Yeah.

[00:09:21] I think this is one that I'll watch a week to week, but I think when it's over, it would

[00:09:26] be good to binge and like see them all sequential.

[00:09:29] I think it's it it will help to aid the story for folks because I talked to one person about

[00:09:35] it and after the first episode, they felt like, oh, they're kind of confused.

[00:09:39] It's a little slow, but there was a lot that happened.

[00:09:42] Right.

[00:09:42] Yeah.

[00:09:43] Yeah.

[00:09:44] Episode two circle sewn with fate.

[00:09:47] Unlock thy hidden gate.

[00:09:49] I will not sing the song, but that thing has been stuck in my mind so long.

[00:09:54] Um, so the teen who has the sigil, which prevents him from, um, you know, saying his

[00:10:01] own name says he freed Agatha from the spell and he wants to go on the witch's road as well.

[00:10:08] And the witch's road rewards any witch who survives its trial with what they want most.

[00:10:13] In Agatha's case, she wants her powers back.

[00:10:16] So Agatha also realized magic is preventing her from leave, learning any personal information

[00:10:21] about the teen, including his name.

[00:10:23] We can hypothesize who that is.

[00:10:26] So she needs a coven to open up the portal.

[00:10:28] So she recruits, uh, Lilia, Caldrew, Jennifer, Jen, Kale, and Alice, who Gulliver, who all

[00:10:37] have reasons to walk the road as well.

[00:10:40] This is fun.

[00:10:41] Kind of like ragtag group of witches that are in their own, you know, private worlds.

[00:10:47] One is selling like basically it's like a send up of goop.

[00:10:51] I think a little tiny bit, uh, right.

[00:10:54] Um, uh, uh, one work, one, uh, works in the musician store.

[00:10:58] Another one, right.

[00:10:59] She was a musician.

[00:11:00] Wait, which one was, uh, what is she?

[00:11:02] Where did Jen work?

[00:11:03] She worked at a mall and then hot topic.

[00:11:06] Yeah.

[00:11:06] Yeah.

[00:11:06] And then the other, which, uh, was a mind reader.

[00:11:10] Yeah.

[00:11:10] So, uh, so, but they need a green witch.

[00:11:14] So they don't want to invite, she doesn't want to invite Rio who we see in the first

[00:11:17] episode.

[00:11:17] They obviously have some sort of, you know, preexisting connection or relationship.

[00:11:22] So she instead turns to Westview resident, Sharon Davis was great to see again.

[00:11:28] You know, she calls her.

[00:11:29] I can't remember, uh, what was the, what Sharon Davis was her real name, but what did,

[00:11:34] what was the name that she's called?

[00:11:35] Mrs. Hart.

[00:11:35] Mrs. Hart.

[00:11:36] She's like, although through, I was like, who's Sharon Davis?

[00:11:39] Um, and who's a gardener.

[00:11:41] And so she like recruits her to a party, which is kind of like a little bait and switch.

[00:11:47] Uh, and it's, so, um, they, they go down to the basement.

[00:11:51] The teen is kind of watching the upstairs, kind of the doors blown, been blown off.

[00:11:56] And so they go downstairs, they perform the ritual open the gate to the road.

[00:12:02] The seven witches of Salem, I think it's called appear.

[00:12:05] And like teens freaking out.

[00:12:07] You're downstairs.

[00:12:08] They're singing this song, which will get stuck in your head when you watch the episode.

[00:12:12] I, my favorite part of Sharon Davis is just kind of like looking around and kind of, you

[00:12:16] can just tell like when people are singing a song, you don't song, you kind of like lip

[00:12:19] sync.

[00:12:20] It's sort of, she's just not into it.

[00:12:21] Um, but it's pretty talented musical group.

[00:12:24] Actually.

[00:12:25] Uh, they removed their footwear.

[00:12:27] I'm sorry.

[00:12:28] They, there's the door, which opens up in the ground.

[00:12:30] They open up the door.

[00:12:32] You know, they hear the screams upstairs.

[00:12:33] They, they enter the, um, enter the escape to evade the Salem seven is the name.

[00:12:41] And it seals up above them.

[00:12:43] They go down to the ground, followed the yellow brick road.

[00:12:46] They take off their shoes for some reason and head off on the road.

[00:12:50] What'd you think?

[00:12:52] I thought it was really, really fun.

[00:12:54] I liked the like gathering of the coven.

[00:12:56] It was, it was fun to see kitty back.

[00:12:59] Um, kitty Foreman.

[00:13:02] Uh, I can't think Mrs.

[00:13:04] Hart.

[00:13:05] Um, but yeah, I thought it was, it was really, really fun.

[00:13:09] I will also mention all, all the coven members are all pulled from comics.

[00:13:16] Um, so Lily Calderoo, who is portrayed in the show by, um, how, of course I drop her

[00:13:26] name literally.

[00:13:27] LaPayne.

[00:13:28] No, it's not LaPayne.

[00:13:30] It's, um, um, I need to talk about the most famous actor of all of them.

[00:13:36] Uh, uh, Patty LuPone.

[00:13:43] Patty LuPone is who is Lilia, um, who is actually also Sicilian and the, the character is Sicilian,

[00:13:50] which is kind of cool.

[00:13:51] They, they use their, um, in the comics, she's a very short lived character.

[00:13:57] She literally was introduced and died in the same comic, uh, back in 1973.

[00:14:03] Um, she was the witch queen of the gypsies.

[00:14:07] Um, Jennifer Kale is also a comic character.

[00:14:14] Um, she is, and, and that's who's kind of the potions witch, if you will, in the show.

[00:14:21] Um, she was introduced back in 1972 and still is in the comics to this day.

[00:14:32] Um, and then Alice Gulliver, um, whose alias in the comics is The Woo, uh, was introduced

[00:14:41] in 2016.

[00:14:43] Um, and so, uh, all, all of these are, are like pulled from comics, which is pretty fun.

[00:14:51] Um, but yeah, I, I thought the, the episode was really fun and it really set us off towards

[00:14:57] the rest of the actual series, right?

[00:14:59] Where the first episode was a little bit of a misdirect.

[00:15:01] It was a little bit of like, oh, we're doing the WandaVision thing again with TV parodies

[00:15:08] and whatever.

[00:15:08] Uh, this one was a little bit more.

[00:15:12] Now here, here's what our, here's what we're going to do.

[00:15:16] Um, the teen thing is kind of a little bit lost on me because Marvel did a really dumb

[00:15:23] thing in the way that they advertise or the way that they did, um, media on this.

[00:15:28] And early on they were naming the team, the teen.

[00:15:34] Um, I'm going to give myself 30 seconds to spoil it.

[00:15:38] So if you don't want to know who the teen was, or if you don't wait, is this a double

[00:15:43] spoiler warning?

[00:15:44] This is so, so this, this is, uh, it's conjecture.

[00:15:49] You don't know.

[00:15:49] It's just, well, it was, well, it was announced that see this is Marvel announced it and then

[00:15:56] deleted all of those mentions and, and like there are the, this is kind of a weird thing.

[00:16:04] And that's why I do want to say, if you want to keep yourself in the dark on who the teen

[00:16:10] is or who Marvel announced the teen to be skip ahead 30 seconds.

[00:16:15] Okay.

[00:16:15] Let me put my sigil spell on you right now.

[00:16:19] Go.

[00:16:20] Go.

[00:16:20] So, so in early press about this, they were naming the teen.

[00:16:27] It's Billy.

[00:16:28] It's, it's Wiccan.

[00:16:31] Um, but they, they now, they, they, they're now going back and doing this sigil thing.

[00:16:38] And so it's supposed to be a mystery in the show.

[00:16:43] It's, I think people, this is kind of one of the easier, who is this person?

[00:16:48] You either had to guess it was either Billy or her son, like one of the two, but the timing

[00:16:54] doesn't make sense.

[00:16:55] Billy makes perfect sense.

[00:16:56] I think there was even, I was kidding you a little bit before about the double secret

[00:17:02] warning, but, uh, I want to say in like IMDB, like there was like a body double or something

[00:17:08] and it says, you know, body double for Billy or something.

[00:17:11] So it was like, it's not a huge secret.

[00:17:15] Um, but yeah, by the way, real quick, uh, um, we, we neglected to mention that actors

[00:17:23] names, uh, um, Ali on, she plays Alice Wu Gulliver.

[00:17:31] And then the, um, actress who plays, let me get the character name real quick.

[00:17:39] I had it in front of me.

[00:17:41] Why do I click?

[00:17:42] Uh, Jen Kale.

[00:17:43] Thank you.

[00:17:44] Um, she is played by, um, Sashir Zamata.

[00:17:49] So thank you.

[00:17:50] Thank you.

[00:17:50] Yeah.

[00:17:51] And I, I think they're all really fun.

[00:17:53] Like there is, there is very much touches of goop with Jen Kale's storyline, which is hilarious.

[00:18:01] Given that Gwyneth Paltrow is in the MCU.

[00:18:04] Mm-hmm.

[00:18:06] Um, what did you, uh, so when I watched the first two episodes for our last bugle and,

[00:18:12] um, you were saying, I don't know if I'm gonna watch this with my son.

[00:18:16] And I said, well, I don't know how you feel about like witchcraft and tasteful nudity, but

[00:18:22] just FYI, get ready for it.

[00:18:25] Like, were you surprised at the...

[00:18:26] I was a little bit.

[00:18:28] We, we got some, I was, I was surprised they left the button, you know, after, after the

[00:18:34] like infamous Disney plus censorship is way too abused of a word these days, but kind of

[00:18:43] clean up that they did like famously in, um, the movie Splash, they digitally altered the

[00:18:52] Daryl Hannah's hair.

[00:18:53] So you don't see her butt, uh, in that movie, um, when it went to Disney plus.

[00:19:00] And so I was a little bit surprised that we saw Catherine Han's butt in, uh, in a Disney

[00:19:09] plus original show.

[00:19:10] Yeah.

[00:19:10] It's the, uh, she's in Westview.

[00:19:13] She's just, is it Herb?

[00:19:14] I can't remember the main character.

[00:19:16] Yeah.

[00:19:17] And he's just like, what is going on here?

[00:19:19] Uh, you see a flash for, but although they didn't have a problem with MODOK.

[00:19:23] Like maybe it's kind of like one for one, right?

[00:19:26] Cheap for cheek.

[00:19:27] Right.

[00:19:27] Oh, turning on the cheek.

[00:19:29] Hey, yo.

[00:19:29] Sorry.

[00:19:30] That was terrible.

[00:19:30] You know what?

[00:19:31] I quit the show.

[00:19:32] This stuff is awful.

[00:19:34] Um, so yeah, I, I thought this was a fun kind of gather, gather everybody.

[00:19:41] Um, and, uh, get everybody set up.

[00:19:46] Uh, so then we move on to episode three, uh, through many miles of tricks and trials.

[00:19:53] Oh, we should have also probably have mentioned who, who wrote and, uh, directed these.

[00:19:59] Uh, so episode one was written and directed both by Jack Schaefer.

[00:20:05] Uh, episode two was directed by Jack Schaefer, but written by Laura Donnie.

[00:20:09] And then episode three here is, uh, directed by Rachel Goldberg, written by Cameron Squires.

[00:20:19] Um, and, um, she is a screenwriter known for, do you remember what else she did?

[00:20:27] Rachel Goldberg?

[00:20:28] No, Jack Schaefer.

[00:20:30] No.

[00:20:31] Oh, Jack Schaefer.

[00:20:31] No.

[00:20:32] She, uh, wrote the story for Black Widow.

[00:20:36] Oh.

[00:20:37] And she also did a little work for WandaVision.

[00:20:40] She was a writer and she did a work, some work for Captain Marvel.

[00:20:44] She was uncredited as a writer.

[00:20:45] Oh, nice.

[00:20:46] Yeah.

[00:20:47] Nice, nice.

[00:20:48] So yeah, episode three here, um, to reach the end of the road, the coven must, will face trials,

[00:20:55] uh, that focus on the different branches of witchcraft.

[00:21:00] They also realize that the teen sigil prevents any witch from learning of his identity.

[00:21:05] At the first trial, the coven stands in a coastal house with a bottle of wine that everyone but the teen drinks.

[00:21:13] Jen privately warns the teen not to trust Agatha, who is said to have traded her child for the Darkhold.

[00:21:22] A timer starts counting down and Jen realizes that the wine was poisoned as Sharon faints.

[00:21:29] They gather the ingredients to create an antidote.

[00:21:33] The witches hallucinate.

[00:21:34] Lilia sees her younger self in the maestra and her maestra from the Renaissance era.

[00:21:43] Jen hallucinates, a doctor forcing her underwater.

[00:21:46] Alice sees her mother, Lorna Wu, about to commit suicide.

[00:21:51] And Agatha sees a crib containing the Darkhold.

[00:21:55] As they prepare the antidote, the house is brought underwater, threatening to drown them.

[00:22:01] With a few seconds left, they finish the antidote, drink it, and feed it to Sharon.

[00:22:06] The water pours in, but a tunnel appears in the oven.

[00:22:10] And the coven escapes through it back to the road.

[00:22:13] As they discover, or as they recover, the teen discovers that Sharon is dead.

[00:22:22] Bye-bye, Mrs. Hart.

[00:22:24] Womp womp.

[00:22:25] Did you think she was still alive?

[00:22:29] I was surprised they killed her this early.

[00:22:34] My actual thought was that she was going to actually be a green witch.

[00:22:37] That that was going to be kind of like a happy accident.

[00:22:41] I guess she actually picked a green witch or something.

[00:22:47] So I was a little surprised they killed her, but I did not think she was alive, I would say.

[00:22:54] Yeah.

[00:22:58] I enjoyed this episode as well.

[00:23:00] That house is amazing.

[00:23:03] I love the one little nit I had is that bottle of wine, if you watch them pour it, it's like a magical bottle.

[00:23:16] And the reason I say that is because they give some to Sharon Davis.

[00:23:23] She gulps down two glasses.

[00:23:25] And these are full pours.

[00:23:26] These are like, Papa's had a rough day at work.

[00:23:30] I need a glass and a half of Bordeaux.

[00:23:33] And they poured for everyone else.

[00:23:35] And then it's magically filled again, which I thought was kind of, I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I think maybe it was.

[00:23:41] Yeah.

[00:23:43] But it was a good episode.

[00:23:44] Go ahead.

[00:23:45] Oh, I was going to say the other thing I did like about this episode was they you can only hear it in the background.

[00:23:51] But they reference because there is still that touch of the WandaVision.

[00:23:56] We're going to parody other TV or other media.

[00:24:00] And this one was kind of parodying.

[00:24:02] It was parodying Big Little Lies.

[00:24:05] And in the background, you hear one of the characters say something about this house looks just like the one from huge, tiny dishonesty or something like that.

[00:24:20] Which I'm like, well played.

[00:24:22] That's pretty funny.

[00:24:23] That's pretty funny.

[00:24:24] The other things.

[00:24:26] Yeah.

[00:24:26] When they escape from the water, they kind of go through the oven.

[00:24:31] And it's just this weird.

[00:24:32] I don't know.

[00:24:33] Just the.

[00:24:34] I can imagine the writers from like just coming up with all these ideas.

[00:24:38] I thought that was kind of fun.

[00:24:40] Very different.

[00:24:42] The Agatha seeing the dark hold in the crib.

[00:24:45] I mean, let's.

[00:24:47] So she obviously.

[00:24:49] Traded it.

[00:24:51] For her child, right?

[00:24:53] Right.

[00:24:53] Yeah.

[00:24:54] She traded her child at the end of the.

[00:24:56] The.

[00:24:57] As far as we know in the story or in the like show so far, she traded her.

[00:25:03] Child for the dark hold at the end of the road.

[00:25:06] I think.

[00:25:08] Yeah.

[00:25:09] Tough beat.

[00:25:12] Tough beat.

[00:25:13] Yeah.

[00:25:13] No.

[00:25:14] Good episode.

[00:25:15] Leads us to four.

[00:25:16] If I can't reach you, let my song teach you.

[00:25:20] If by now it didn't.

[00:25:21] You didn't realize.

[00:25:23] Every episode is one.

[00:25:25] Like a line from the song.

[00:25:28] Don't think about too long.

[00:25:29] Otherwise the song pops in your head as it is for me right.

[00:25:32] Now.

[00:25:34] Directed by.

[00:25:36] Directed by.

[00:25:38] Rachel Goldberg.

[00:25:39] And written by Giovanna.

[00:25:41] So.

[00:25:43] So.

[00:25:44] They bury Sharon.

[00:25:45] The.

[00:25:46] They got to get a replacement Greenwich.

[00:25:48] They can't go on without.

[00:25:50] And.

[00:25:51] Rio.

[00:25:51] Emergence from Sharon's grave.

[00:25:53] And it's like.

[00:25:54] This.

[00:25:55] This was like.

[00:25:56] There are a lot of little elements of horror.

[00:25:58] In.

[00:25:59] The show.

[00:25:59] And this is one of them.

[00:26:00] You're like.

[00:26:01] Oh my God.

[00:26:01] What's coming out?

[00:26:02] Yeah.

[00:26:03] Yeah.

[00:26:03] Yeah.

[00:26:05] Yeah.

[00:26:05] They.

[00:26:05] Uh.

[00:26:06] And.

[00:26:07] Then they encounter house.

[00:26:08] With.

[00:26:09] This very kind of 1970s aesthetic.

[00:26:12] Which was right down my alleyway.

[00:26:14] And.

[00:26:15] They.

[00:26:16] You know.

[00:26:17] Express feelings of grief.

[00:26:18] For Alice.

[00:26:19] Alice.

[00:26:19] Um.

[00:26:21] As it turns out.

[00:26:21] This is actually the.

[00:26:23] Recording studio.

[00:26:24] For Lorna.

[00:26:25] So.

[00:26:26] Just as Rio.

[00:26:27] Playfully suggested.

[00:26:28] Agatha.

[00:26:29] That they betray the others.

[00:26:30] Which is overheard by everyone.

[00:26:32] She does a little flip.

[00:26:32] A little microphone.

[00:26:34] Like.

[00:26:34] I thought it was pretty funny.

[00:26:36] Um.

[00:26:37] And.

[00:26:38] The.

[00:26:39] Uh.

[00:26:39] Teen actually plays a record backwards.

[00:26:42] Which summons a demon.

[00:26:43] Which.

[00:26:43] Bad move.

[00:26:44] That turns out to be the source of the curse.

[00:26:46] In Alice's family.

[00:26:47] So.

[00:26:47] In order to fight it.

[00:26:48] The group plays Lorna's version.

[00:26:50] Of the ballad.

[00:26:51] Which is revealed to be a protective spell.

[00:26:54] And Alice is able to kill the demon.

[00:26:56] As the coven leave the house.

[00:26:57] They notice the teen had been severely wounded by the demon.

[00:27:00] Still alive.

[00:27:01] Back on the road.

[00:27:01] They tend to the wound.

[00:27:02] Jen is able to heal it.

[00:27:04] Saves the teen's life.

[00:27:05] Later on.

[00:27:06] Lilia.

[00:27:06] Alice.

[00:27:07] And Jen.

[00:27:07] Bond with each other.

[00:27:08] While Rio alludes to her story with Agatha.

[00:27:11] The teen asks Agatha.

[00:27:12] What happened to her son.

[00:27:13] But she does not answer.

[00:27:15] Until later.

[00:27:15] As Agatha tries to kiss Rio.

[00:27:18] As rebuffed.

[00:27:19] She tells Agatha.

[00:27:20] The teen is not her son.

[00:27:20] So a lot of stuff going on in this episode.

[00:27:23] I'd say the three things.

[00:27:25] In no particular order.

[00:27:26] We really see.

[00:27:26] Okay.

[00:27:27] You know.

[00:27:28] It's been.

[00:27:29] It's been alluded to.

[00:27:29] Hinted all the time.

[00:27:30] There's a certain chemistry.

[00:27:31] There's a certain friction.

[00:27:33] Between.

[00:27:34] And Rio.

[00:27:34] And Agatha.

[00:27:35] We can tell they've had a relationship of sorts before.

[00:27:38] Probably lovers.

[00:27:39] We don't really know.

[00:27:41] We hear.

[00:27:43] The thing.

[00:27:44] The aesthetic I like.

[00:27:45] Is they all dress up.

[00:27:46] And they're all kind of very 70s theme.

[00:27:48] Oh yeah.

[00:27:50] Capone looks like Liza Minnelli.

[00:27:52] And.

[00:27:53] Aubrey Plaza looks like Cher.

[00:27:55] This is fun.

[00:27:56] So.

[00:27:56] You know.

[00:27:56] In rewatch.

[00:27:57] You're just like.

[00:27:58] Oh.

[00:27:58] That's a fun little vibe.

[00:27:59] They go.

[00:27:59] They walk through.

[00:28:00] And they've got like.

[00:28:02] There's a poster board for.

[00:28:04] A concert from the 70s.

[00:28:06] From the Warfield Theater in San Francisco.

[00:28:08] So they're definitely going for this kind of hate Ashbury.

[00:28:10] Kind of like.

[00:28:11] Vibe.

[00:28:11] If you will.

[00:28:12] But the big thing.

[00:28:14] Which.

[00:28:14] Again.

[00:28:15] I don't want to.

[00:28:16] Pat myself on the back.

[00:28:17] Because.

[00:28:17] I don't want to hurt my shoulder.

[00:28:18] But.

[00:28:19] We see Mephisto.

[00:28:21] Like.

[00:28:21] We hear the name Mephisto.

[00:28:22] Referenced.

[00:28:24] You know.

[00:28:25] We.

[00:28:25] I jokingly.

[00:28:26] Said.

[00:28:27] Hey.

[00:28:27] I think we'll see Mephisto in this.

[00:28:28] It.

[00:28:29] From a serious perspective.

[00:28:30] It does make sense.

[00:28:31] For.

[00:28:32] The MCU.

[00:28:33] I think it would be.

[00:28:33] Pretty bright of them.

[00:28:34] To insert a villain.

[00:28:37] In this series.

[00:28:38] To kind of introduce them.

[00:28:39] Yeah.

[00:28:40] I think it'd be kind of weak.

[00:28:41] If you wait till the very end.

[00:28:42] And all of a sudden.

[00:28:43] Like.

[00:28:43] Out from behind a curtain.

[00:28:45] Appears Mephisto.

[00:28:46] That could do that.

[00:28:48] Sacha Baron Cohen.

[00:28:49] Has already.

[00:28:50] Been announced.

[00:28:51] To play.

[00:28:52] Mephisto.

[00:28:53] It was believed.

[00:28:54] He would show an iron heart.

[00:28:56] But.

[00:28:56] I've also read things.

[00:28:58] Which suggested.

[00:28:59] That he was.

[00:28:59] He'd agreed to appear.

[00:29:00] In a Disney plus show.

[00:29:02] So.

[00:29:03] Could be this one.

[00:29:04] So.

[00:29:05] Yeah.

[00:29:06] It would be really.

[00:29:06] Interesting.

[00:29:07] And I.

[00:29:07] Like.

[00:29:08] Mephisto plays really well.

[00:29:09] Into a lot of things.

[00:29:10] That Marvel's working on.

[00:29:11] He's obviously part of the.

[00:29:12] Supernatural side of.

[00:29:14] Of everything.

[00:29:16] Um.

[00:29:17] He also.

[00:29:19] Has some pretty serious.

[00:29:21] Tie-ins with some.

[00:29:23] Mutants.

[00:29:24] So like.

[00:29:25] The mutant magic.

[00:29:26] Who is Colossus's sister.

[00:29:28] Um.

[00:29:29] She.

[00:29:30] She.

[00:29:31] Ends up in hell.

[00:29:32] And has to.

[00:29:34] Has to.

[00:29:35] Like.

[00:29:35] Fight against Mephisto.

[00:29:37] So like.

[00:29:37] There's some tie-ins there.

[00:29:39] Where they're headed towards mutants.

[00:29:41] Mephisto is frequently.

[00:29:42] Interacting with the X-Men.

[00:29:44] And so.

[00:29:45] I think like.

[00:29:46] It makes sense to.

[00:29:48] Bring him up now.

[00:29:50] And let him.

[00:29:51] Let him kind of.

[00:29:52] Simmer in the background.

[00:29:54] While you get through.

[00:29:55] Some of the more.

[00:29:58] Mainline superhero type stuff.

[00:29:59] And then.

[00:30:00] You know.

[00:30:00] Maybe in the mutant saga.

[00:30:02] He.

[00:30:02] Makes his way into movies.

[00:30:04] I think.

[00:30:05] Um.

[00:30:05] It's one of three things.

[00:30:07] It's either.

[00:30:09] Shows up.

[00:30:10] Like the very.

[00:30:11] Very end.

[00:30:12] Makes a little sneak appearance.

[00:30:14] Um.

[00:30:15] I can be kind of lame.

[00:30:16] Gets introduced.

[00:30:17] Maybe.

[00:30:19] Penultimate episode.

[00:30:20] Maybe one before.

[00:30:21] Has a little bit of a moment.

[00:30:22] Builds him up.

[00:30:23] I agree.

[00:30:24] Like.

[00:30:25] Can feed him to the mutant side.

[00:30:26] Can like.

[00:30:27] I mean.

[00:30:27] Just.

[00:30:28] He's been.

[00:30:28] Very.

[00:30:29] Mephisto has been very prevalent in comics.

[00:30:31] Or.

[00:30:32] Alternative three is.

[00:30:33] This is just a throwaway.

[00:30:35] You know.

[00:30:35] Fun line for the fans.

[00:30:36] And you're never going to see.

[00:30:37] Mephisto again.

[00:30:39] Which should be a bummer.

[00:30:40] I mean.

[00:30:40] The fun part with him being a demon is.

[00:30:43] You're going to.

[00:30:44] You generally banish demons.

[00:30:45] You don't kill them.

[00:30:47] And so.

[00:30:49] You banish him to his realm and.

[00:30:53] Who knows when he's going to show back up.

[00:30:55] Right.

[00:30:55] If.

[00:30:55] If they do end up fighting him in this show.

[00:30:58] You banish him and then he shows back up.

[00:31:00] Yeah.

[00:31:01] If I were to guess.

[00:31:02] Like.

[00:31:03] I think.

[00:31:03] They're just going to see Mephisto at the end of the road again.

[00:31:05] And so the question is.

[00:31:06] What does Agatha offer.

[00:31:08] Proffer.

[00:31:09] To get her powers back.

[00:31:10] That's where I kind of.

[00:31:11] I'm guessing where we're going.

[00:31:12] But I.

[00:31:14] Pure.

[00:31:15] Idle.

[00:31:15] Speculation.

[00:31:17] Yeah.

[00:31:17] I did love this episode.

[00:31:18] Very satanic panic feeling.

[00:31:21] Lots of like.

[00:31:22] 70s.

[00:31:22] Hard rock.

[00:31:23] They're influenced by the devil.

[00:31:25] Kind of.

[00:31:28] That.

[00:31:28] That would be.

[00:31:29] Where I would say.

[00:31:30] This really took its inspiration.

[00:31:31] Was from the satanic panic.

[00:31:33] Um.

[00:31:35] I loved the costumes.

[00:31:37] They were super fun.

[00:31:39] Aubrey Plaza.

[00:31:40] Is.

[00:31:41] Fantastic.

[00:31:42] As Rio.

[00:31:43] Like.

[00:31:44] Oh my gosh.

[00:31:45] I.

[00:31:46] Like.

[00:31:47] This.

[00:31:47] This show is.

[00:31:48] Just like.

[00:31:50] It's such a treat to watch.

[00:31:52] With all the actors.

[00:31:53] That they have.

[00:31:53] And.

[00:31:54] And who would have guessed.

[00:31:55] That like.

[00:31:55] The likes of Patti LuPone.

[00:31:57] Would be.

[00:31:59] You know.

[00:31:59] Your C.

[00:32:00] Or greater.

[00:32:01] Your C.

[00:32:02] Or.

[00:32:03] Or.

[00:32:03] Or lesser.

[00:32:04] Tier.

[00:32:05] For this.

[00:32:06] You know.

[00:32:06] For the actors.

[00:32:07] That are in this.

[00:32:08] This film.

[00:32:08] Or in this show.

[00:32:10] Um.

[00:32:11] Not saying.

[00:32:12] She's doing a bad job.

[00:32:13] But like.

[00:32:13] That's a legendary actor.

[00:32:15] And.

[00:32:16] Definitely.

[00:32:17] There.

[00:32:17] There are so many good.

[00:32:19] Uh.

[00:32:20] Actors in this.

[00:32:21] In this.

[00:32:21] It would.

[00:32:22] It would be like.

[00:32:23] Lin-Manuel Miranda.

[00:32:24] Showing up.

[00:32:24] And you're like.

[00:32:25] Wait.

[00:32:26] He's.

[00:32:26] Can do this bit part.

[00:32:27] What the hell's going on here.

[00:32:28] Right.

[00:32:28] Right.

[00:32:29] Right.

[00:32:31] Um.

[00:32:32] So.

[00:32:33] So yeah.

[00:32:33] I really liked it.

[00:32:34] I did like.

[00:32:35] You know.

[00:32:35] They.

[00:32:35] They shot it in a 70s style as well.

[00:32:37] They did some of those like.

[00:32:39] Zoom cuts to faces.

[00:32:41] And.

[00:32:42] And things like that.

[00:32:43] That.

[00:32:43] That were very reminiscent of movies.

[00:32:45] Like The Shining.

[00:32:46] Or.

[00:32:46] Um.

[00:32:47] Kind of movies of that era.

[00:32:48] Where you kind of zoom into a face.

[00:32:50] Or you do side by side shots.

[00:32:52] Or.

[00:32:53] That sort of thing.

[00:32:54] Um.

[00:32:55] So I.

[00:32:55] I did like that.

[00:32:56] The other thing I will mention.

[00:32:57] And I don't think that this is intentional at all.

[00:33:00] Um.

[00:33:01] But.

[00:33:02] Lorna Wu.

[00:33:04] Her band.

[00:33:05] Is the Coral Shore.

[00:33:06] So it's Lorna Wu and the Coral Shore.

[00:33:09] Which.

[00:33:11] I.

[00:33:12] I am a.

[00:33:14] A metal fan.

[00:33:15] Not a metal fan.

[00:33:17] But I like.

[00:33:17] I like heavier music.

[00:33:19] And there's a band called Lorna Shore.

[00:33:22] Which.

[00:33:23] Every time.

[00:33:24] That they make reference to Lorna Wu.

[00:33:26] And the Coral Shore.

[00:33:28] I'm like.

[00:33:28] Wait.

[00:33:29] That's.

[00:33:29] Wait.

[00:33:30] Lorna Shore.

[00:33:31] That's.

[00:33:31] That's a different band.

[00:33:32] It's just.

[00:33:32] It's really funny to me.

[00:33:33] That's too funny.

[00:33:35] Um.

[00:33:36] But yeah.

[00:33:36] So.

[00:33:37] So.

[00:33:37] So far.

[00:33:38] Four episodes in.

[00:33:39] I'm loving it.

[00:33:40] I'm telling everybody who will listen to me.

[00:33:44] Watch two episodes.

[00:33:45] Like.

[00:33:46] Don't.

[00:33:46] Don't watch one episode.

[00:33:47] And.

[00:33:49] Get turned off by the first episode.

[00:33:51] Or whatever.

[00:33:52] Give it two episodes.

[00:33:55] And.

[00:33:55] And.

[00:33:56] You know.

[00:33:57] I.

[00:33:57] I think.

[00:33:58] Uh.

[00:33:59] For a lot of people there.

[00:34:00] I.

[00:34:00] I have heard.

[00:34:01] A fairly resounding.

[00:34:05] Sentiment from a lot of people.

[00:34:06] Of like.

[00:34:07] I didn't like the first episode.

[00:34:08] So I stopped watching.

[00:34:09] Or something like that.

[00:34:10] And I'm.

[00:34:11] I'm.

[00:34:11] Really.

[00:34:11] I.

[00:34:12] I really encourage anyone to.

[00:34:14] At least go through two episodes.

[00:34:16] Just.

[00:34:17] Give it those two.

[00:34:18] If they.

[00:34:19] If at that point.

[00:34:20] You're like.

[00:34:20] Ah.

[00:34:20] That's not my.

[00:34:21] My bag.

[00:34:22] Cool.

[00:34:23] Move on with life.

[00:34:25] But.

[00:34:25] Um.

[00:34:26] I would.

[00:34:27] Definitely.

[00:34:27] Definitely.

[00:34:28] Definitely.

[00:34:29] Definitely.

[00:34:29] Encourage.

[00:34:30] Everybody.

[00:34:31] To go watch.

[00:34:32] Um.

[00:34:33] At least.

[00:34:34] The first two episodes.

[00:34:35] I think that that's.

[00:34:36] The.

[00:34:37] That.

[00:34:38] That's the proper way.

[00:34:39] To try and get into it.

[00:34:43] Um.

[00:34:44] Yeah.

[00:34:44] Anything else to add David?

[00:34:45] No.

[00:34:46] It was good.

[00:34:46] I enjoyed it.

[00:34:47] I.

[00:34:47] It's a fun watch.

[00:34:48] It's a quick watch.

[00:34:50] Some of it's a little trippy.

[00:34:52] You know.

[00:34:52] It's.

[00:34:53] It's.

[00:34:53] But I think if you just commit yourself to watch it.

[00:34:55] I think you'll go.

[00:34:56] You'll enjoy it.

[00:34:56] You appreciate the performances.

[00:34:59] I think if you.

[00:34:59] Especially if you nerd out.

[00:35:00] And you watch more of the ones.

[00:35:01] You start to pick up more and more things.

[00:35:04] Thanks for visiting the TVA.

[00:35:07] And that's our mark.

[00:35:08] So we are back with news.

[00:35:11] We are.

[00:35:12] Now.

[00:35:13] Back to being spoiler free about Agatha.

[00:35:16] Um.

[00:35:16] Other than the fact that Agatha dies in episode one.

[00:35:19] So.

[00:35:20] There you go.

[00:35:21] Sorry.

[00:35:21] Sorry.

[00:35:22] People who are avoiding spoiler warnings.

[00:35:24] Um.

[00:35:25] No.

[00:35:25] I'm kidding.

[00:35:26] Good God.

[00:35:28] Um.

[00:35:29] So yeah.

[00:35:29] Let's talk a little bit.

[00:35:30] Uh.

[00:35:31] Like I said.

[00:35:33] Thin Newsweek this week.

[00:35:34] Folks.

[00:35:35] Uh.

[00:35:36] Or this month.

[00:35:37] So.

[00:35:38] I'm going to go ahead.

[00:35:39] And I'm going to.

[00:35:41] Uh.

[00:35:41] Cover one news story that I saw about the future of the MCU.

[00:35:45] Um.

[00:35:46] So.

[00:35:46] There was a.

[00:35:48] So Sony had a placeholder on the.

[00:35:52] Uh.

[00:35:53] Release date of.

[00:35:54] July 27th.

[00:35:55] 2025.

[00:35:57] Insiders to Sony were saying that's when Spider-Man 4 was.

[00:36:00] Was slated for.

[00:36:02] Uh.

[00:36:02] Uh.

[00:36:02] So that would be.

[00:36:04] Next July.

[00:36:06] Now.

[00:36:07] They have.

[00:36:08] Uh.

[00:36:09] Released.

[00:36:10] That.

[00:36:11] That.

[00:36:12] That hold.

[00:36:13] So.

[00:36:13] Sony has said they're not going to release anything that weekend.

[00:36:17] Realistically.

[00:36:18] This makes a lot of sense.

[00:36:20] That.

[00:36:20] This would.

[00:36:22] Honestly.

[00:36:23] This would have conflicted.

[00:36:24] If they had released.

[00:36:26] Spider-Man.

[00:36:26] Literally next July.

[00:36:29] One.

[00:36:29] I would be surprised.

[00:36:30] That they haven't already started filming.

[00:36:33] Two.

[00:36:35] Um.

[00:36:36] It would be like.

[00:36:37] Right.

[00:36:38] In there.

[00:36:39] I think July is also.

[00:36:40] When they're releasing.

[00:36:41] Fantastic.

[00:36:42] Four.

[00:36:43] If memory serves.

[00:36:45] So.

[00:36:46] It would have conflicted.

[00:36:47] With.

[00:36:47] Fantastic.

[00:36:48] Four.

[00:36:49] It.

[00:36:50] It.

[00:36:50] It does not.

[00:36:51] It would not have made sense for.

[00:36:53] Spider-Man to release next July.

[00:36:55] You.

[00:36:56] From a production perspective.

[00:36:59] Yeah.

[00:36:59] You would have had.

[00:37:00] To release in July.

[00:37:01] You would have had to have lined up.

[00:37:03] Directors.

[00:37:03] Writers.

[00:37:05] Filming starts a year before.

[00:37:07] That takes a couple months.

[00:37:08] You do post production.

[00:37:10] You do CGI.

[00:37:11] Do reshoots.

[00:37:11] And then.

[00:37:12] You kind of go from there.

[00:37:13] Market distribution.

[00:37:14] Like.

[00:37:14] There's.

[00:37:15] There's no way.

[00:37:16] Right.

[00:37:16] Yeah.

[00:37:17] That would have actually.

[00:37:18] I just looked it up.

[00:37:19] This.

[00:37:19] The.

[00:37:19] If they had released.

[00:37:21] Then.

[00:37:21] It would be the same exact date.

[00:37:24] That.

[00:37:25] Fantastic.

[00:37:26] Four.

[00:37:26] Is.

[00:37:27] Is set to release.

[00:37:28] Yeah.

[00:37:29] That's.

[00:37:29] They were not going to do that.

[00:37:30] No.

[00:37:32] So.

[00:37:32] They have released that.

[00:37:34] But.

[00:37:34] They.

[00:37:35] The new rumor is.

[00:37:36] They just pushed it back a year.

[00:37:37] So.

[00:37:38] The new rumor is.

[00:37:40] Sometime in July.

[00:37:41] Twenty.

[00:37:41] Twenty.

[00:37:41] Six.

[00:37:42] Which.

[00:37:42] This would make sense.

[00:37:43] Right.

[00:37:44] This is a.

[00:37:45] This is a release slot.

[00:37:46] That makes a lot of sense.

[00:37:47] For this movie.

[00:37:48] That places it.

[00:37:49] Between.

[00:37:50] Doomsday.

[00:37:51] And.

[00:37:53] Which is coming out in May.

[00:37:54] Of.

[00:37:54] Twenty.

[00:37:56] Twenty.

[00:37:58] Secret Wars.

[00:37:58] Which comes out.

[00:37:59] In.

[00:38:01] Uh.

[00:38:01] May.

[00:38:02] Of.

[00:38:02] Twenty.

[00:38:02] Twenty.

[00:38:03] Twenty.

[00:38:03] Twenty.

[00:38:03] Twenty.

[00:38:03] Twenty.

[00:38:03] Uh.

[00:38:03] Mm.

[00:38:04] So.

[00:38:04] This would put it.

[00:38:05] Just after.

[00:38:06] Doomsday.

[00:38:06] This would be a second blockbuster.

[00:38:08] or that summer for them which they're going to use a spider-man movie for that kind of slot that

[00:38:13] makes a lot of sense um so it does put it in as i've been affectionately calling this section of

[00:38:20] the mcu where we are in our rewatch the armpit between infinity war and endgame essentially

[00:38:27] this puts spider-man in the armpit between uh doomsday and secret wars and it puts the two

[00:38:34] female focused superhero films in the armpit for phase three we got it ryan

[00:38:40] um but you're right there are principally based on prior years there's principally like four

[00:38:48] calendar months they usually release well yeah usually four it's usually february

[00:38:53] we've seen them reduce may's a big one july is a big one and then kind of like either november

[00:38:59] december yeah usually something in the holidays something the holiday season they were not going

[00:39:03] to like go up against fantastic four that would be mind bonkers because also if you remember too i

[00:39:09] think superman is supposed to release like a week before or something like that so that's not going

[00:39:14] to happen you um you forgot to mention the movie that's coming out november 7 2025 for mcu

[00:39:24] now i get to be the guy who says dude it's not coming out blade yeah which still doesn't have a

[00:39:30] director actually when you said there's not a lot of news the i looked i was looking the only news

[00:39:35] i could really find like unconfirmed substantial reports of people who are like whispered or rumored

[00:39:42] to direct blade or who completely disavow them directing blade what a mess man what a mess which which is so

[00:39:53] unfortunate because blade could be such a good project for them it could be a cheap november release

[00:40:01] that you you risk almost nothing on by releasing it and the thing the thing i would challenge you a

[00:40:11] little bit this is a slight past show correction you talked about like hey you know you can make for 60

[00:40:16] million and even it makes 300 it's still you know it's still great multiple they've never made a movie i think

[00:40:22] the lowest was like 140 million oh for sure yeah and everything in the last several years has been like

[00:40:29] 200 plus and i i think that even if you felt like oh we can get maher shali for cheap which i don't know

[00:40:36] why he would i i get the part where they're a little skittish around yeah dropping 200 million on a film

[00:40:43] that doesn't feature a bunch of avengers for sure for sure yeah i think i think realistically

[00:40:51] like i would love to see them make a hundred million dollar movie like just make a quick

[00:40:57] hundred million dollar movie and put it out um because i that that's probably the floor for where

[00:41:05] they'll go i mean depends if there if there are few special effects if you don't travel to exotic

[00:41:13] locations and if you don't have a list celebrities that will bring your cost down quite a bit

[00:41:18] but even the tv shows like how much we're um how much did the acolyte cost per episode was like 20

[00:41:26] million episodes like something like that something bonkers so it's you know it's it's tough to do so

[00:41:32] yeah um but yeah so so placing spider-man between two avengers two parts of an avengers film makes a lot

[00:41:41] of sense that's what's gonna happen i like there there is zero part of me that is surprised but

[00:41:49] cool to see it um so miles in 2027 jeez louise i sorry man we need miles so bad i i need the i need

[00:42:00] the end of that it's so bad it's so good but i know you've talked about cliffhanger and i've made

[00:42:07] the joke before like when i was young and you when i went to go see star wars original star wars

[00:42:13] in the in the theaters after empire strikes back with like a three-year wait it was like yeah

[00:42:20] and nowadays you can crank them out like infinity war came or end game came out a year after infinity

[00:42:26] war and but miles this is gonna take like four years whatever um one other piece of news in an

[00:42:35] otherwise light uh stretch of time marvel and dc are losing a trademark they have to the term

[00:42:46] superhero and superheroes so reuters reported that uh legal action was was um threatened against an

[00:42:57] author of a comic series called super babies so then they infringed on a copyright um a trademark

[00:43:03] technically speaking that um that had been in existence since the 60s it's sort of weird like

[00:43:11] so dc and marvel trade had a trademark in the term presumably to exclude others from other uh

[00:43:21] organizations other uh comic book publishers from using the term they were challenged by the creator

[00:43:28] saying that you can't really have a trademark across this like entire genre if you will yeah and

[00:43:36] basically um with with regards to the trademarks there's two trademarks and they marvel dc didn't

[00:43:45] basically didn't respond and then basically gave up the trademarks and so

[00:43:51] because it's not a trademark it's not really i mean it's a trademark but it's not

[00:43:57] it i in it in and of itself does it really have inherent value doesn't evoke anything it's not a

[00:44:02] character it's not a logo it's not and it's not like it stopped other people from making super

[00:44:07] super powered individuals yeah it just was specifically the term superhero which i i do wonder

[00:44:17] there is some part of me that wonders if that's why shows like the boys right the boys call their

[00:44:24] superhero soups their soups um could be and and so i i do wonder if some of the the indie publishers

[00:44:34] that's why they say supers or those sort of things and says saying superhero um which is really

[00:44:40] interesting and i and i think like the publishers have all kind of figured it out and they've all

[00:44:48] you know done their own thing like again it doesn't preclude them from creating those type of

[00:44:53] characters it doesn't preclude them from calling it something else i just literally is on that one

[00:45:00] term is my understanding um it's interesting i didn't know that they held this so dc and marvel held

[00:45:07] this jointly for almost 80 years um uh 57 ish it was the 60s that did it but like still like

[00:45:19] um yeah the thing i was saying is like you know you have like you can trademark like the scripted that

[00:45:25] kind of like s if you will in superman's chest it wasn't it's not even anything like that so it's just

[00:45:29] just the term superhero so yeah you know anyway get rid of this trademark yeah yeah for the people

[00:45:40] babies uh well uh let's let's talk a little bit about spooky season david so we are here we're in

[00:45:50] october it's spooky season uh we get to get a little little bit of fun here so i wanted to talk a little

[00:45:58] bit about you know if you wanted to make your spooky season also match your marvel fandom what what kind

[00:46:04] of stuff can you do so i kind of broke this down into three things we'll we'll go through each of them

[00:46:09] um so we've got a thing to watch a favorite costume and then a wild card round so david i i see your notes

[00:46:21] here the all new halloween spooktacular i the link goes to a dead wikipedia page oh that's unfortunate

[00:46:29] so i want to know what what we're talking about here you've seen it it is wandavision

[00:46:37] sixth episode ah okay and so it's the they are it this is when they're in the i think the 90s i think

[00:46:46] because you're getting towards that sounds right yep and wanda is is wanda is dressed up in her

[00:46:51] classic scarlet witch costume and visions got on his classic vision costume which i loved and they're

[00:46:57] they're basically like the kids are trick-or-treating but they're using like there's like petra's using

[00:47:03] his speed skills to like go like door to door and stuff like that so that would be uh that would be

[00:47:08] what i would watch how about you um i went with werewolf by night uh so this was released a couple

[00:47:16] years ago uh it is a marvel special presentation which means it kind of isn't related to the rest of the mcu

[00:47:24] it is based on a comic book uh of the same title werewolf by night um it also includes uh swamp thing

[00:47:34] um or no swamp i always get these guys mixed up um but it's one thing is it swamp thing okay i always get

[00:47:43] him mixed up with the dc version of him uh which i think is man thing um but anyway um

[00:47:51] the so really really fun it i say i would say watch the black and white version uh so they did

[00:47:59] release werewolf by night i was gonna ask you that very question are you drafting the black and white

[00:48:03] version of the color version because one of those choices is gonna end our friendship yeah watch watch

[00:48:08] the black and white version they actually use color like michael giacchino who who directed and i

[00:48:16] believe wrote it he actually uses color to evoke certain feelings in the black and white version

[00:48:21] you are going you get little glimmers of color or color throughout where where it's important and so

[00:48:28] i was actually really frustrated when they released the werewolf by night in color uh on disney plus i was

[00:48:34] like why that that ruins the whole thing the whole thing is like like color is a is a specifically used

[00:48:43] thing so um but it is really fun it's kind of like an old school monster film the way that it comes

[00:48:50] across it's uh you know kind of universal monsters-esque um and yeah super super fun honestly was one of our

[00:49:01] first introductions into the supernatural side of the mcu which was really cool uh and something i i hope they

[00:49:10] do more of like we've gotten a couple of these special presentations so far feige said another one's on

[00:49:16] its way we talked about that last month but um i love these special presentations i think that they are

[00:49:23] some of the best content marvel has done lately um and yeah i i think it's kind of a slept on

[00:49:33] little piece and so so go check it out definitely not for kids definitely very very scary and

[00:49:42] uh i would not watch it with teddy uh i was gonna say i am i i like you i kind of recoiled at the

[00:49:49] thought of like colorization if you will i envisioned something was kind of like wizard of oz ish where

[00:49:55] it's like you're just black and white all of a sudden like super colorful and would like take away from

[00:49:59] it but if you're saying that they

[00:50:04] softly overlay colors to evoke certain um at certain moments certain feelings and it's not just like hey

[00:50:10] let's put a super bright color palette on top i'll check it out why not yeah i don't know what the

[00:50:16] in color one is like what i'm saying is in the original one they used color because if you remember

[00:50:22] in the in the original one it's black and white for the most part but there's a couple of little color

[00:50:27] pops yeah okay well yeah um so yeah let's talk about costume uh so talking about you know everybody's

[00:50:40] got to plan their costumes out we're we're releasing this mid-october so we're maybe getting to the last

[00:50:46] minute people gotta think about what their costumes are going to be for their upcoming uh halloween

[00:50:50] festivities i'll go ahead and get us started on this one uh so for mine it's actually a group costume

[00:50:58] and it's actually a costume my family's doing this year uh we are all doing different spiders people

[00:51:04] so spider-man has a vast spider-verse uh just about every single version of somebody with a

[00:51:13] spider on their chest and blue and red although it doesn't even have to be blue and red uh basically

[00:51:20] some sort of mask and uh spider theming is about all you really need um it's a really fun really

[00:51:30] flexible costume so like you're not something i really like about costumes like that is you're

[00:51:36] not locked in right you don't have to get it exactly right um so in my family we're going to be doing

[00:51:43] so ted my son is doing uh spidey and his amazing friends style spider-man uh which is the preschool

[00:51:51] show he's obsessed with it he asks for piety all the dang time and uh so that that's going to be his

[00:51:57] um mine is going to be peter b parker from spider-verse nice so that's the one that's the version

[00:52:06] voiced by uh um oh my gosh i just dropped his i listened to his podcast and he was in new girl

[00:52:17] uh jake johnson um and so i'm debating right now so i have the spider suit i'm debating right now if

[00:52:26] i do gray sweats and a like jacket like he did in the first movie or if i do the bathrobe and baby

[00:52:35] carrier like he did in the second spider-verse movie i think you do the latter i think you do

[00:52:39] the latter especially if take it although ted's pretty pretty good size yeah ted ted would not

[00:52:44] fit in by in a baby kid yeah um i like the idea of the family because there is a lot of spider

[00:52:53] characters you've got like gwenham you've got spider-man noir you've got like yeah lisa's doing a

[00:53:01] uh spider punk yeah so she's not doing exactly not not doing exactly uh the spider punk from the movie

[00:53:09] obviously but yeah she's doing a spider punk so it's it's really fun and it's it's super cool like

[00:53:18] you can do your own style and even if you get it a little bit wrong you're just a different variant

[00:53:24] yeah yeah you could do yeah there's a bunch of what you can even do with venom same thing

[00:53:29] i'm venom carnage i'm like well yeah that'd be fun and it's not a deadpool right like deadpool is the

[00:53:35] same thing i i am guessing right now i'm gonna go out uh trick-or-treating on uh with ted on the

[00:53:44] uh on halloween itself and you're just gonna see nothing but deadpools it's just gonna be a

[00:53:49] neighborhood full of deadpools i already know it yeah it's a good one i like it uh i on the other

[00:53:56] hand misinterpreted the question and i thought was you had to get a costume based upon a halloween

[00:54:02] themed marvel character and this was tough and so the only thing i could come up with like i remember

[00:54:08] from like 70 80s it was a there was a character villain that was um in the spider-man realm called

[00:54:13] jack-o'-lantern which had like a flamey pumpkin head but if i have to wear that as a costume dude

[00:54:19] that's gonna be way too hot there's no way so yeah flames on your head that that will heat it up a

[00:54:25] little bit and and so when you announce this little bit i was like it i i had the flashback

[00:54:32] of like oh i've got to reach into my closet and come up with a costume stat so i think what i would

[00:54:39] do is i would go as hawkeye a the no one really notices the costume itself unless you're going in

[00:54:47] the classic purple with the mask and stuff like that i'm not wearing a mask it's been 95 degrees

[00:54:52] here all all the last couple weeks walk around with a bow and arrow keeps you a little protection

[00:54:57] nighttime um simple outfits you don't have to be super yoked out you don't have to spray paint your face

[00:55:04] so that's what i would do nice nice um you want to introduce the wild card sure so the last item was

[00:55:16] a pick your own marvel halloween connected thing it didn't have to be a person it didn't have to be a place

[00:55:24] or a thing it's just something that was connected and so i am going to choose

[00:55:30] oogie boogie bash which i went to uh last week so yeah we flew down on monday went to the tuesday event

[00:55:40] and uh we had been there the year before and saw some amazing costumes we're like oh we got to go

[00:55:48] next time uh it is i looked at my apple watch a couple times the highest i saw record temperature

[00:55:57] was a thousand degrees and so we're like all right we're gonna go in costumes what are we gonna go as

[00:56:03] we couldn't quite we finally settled like we're gonna go as jedi and so i'm a little nervous one

[00:56:08] for two reasons one because it's so hot i'm like dude i can't i'm not gonna wear the pants and i'm

[00:56:14] not gonna wear some heavy boots i'm going in shorts and just comfortable tennis shoes and my son and i

[00:56:21] we built lightsabers at um uh sabi's workshop but i'm like dude i really don't want to fly these down

[00:56:28] and i don't want to drag this around to hold this in the park and i was like oh man people are

[00:56:32] gonna think we're total posers and then two we are just going to sweat non-stop but we made a

[00:56:39] brilliant pivot went at nighttime wasn't too bad like this is getting dark so i got in people like

[00:56:45] costumes but the reason why this is marvel connected is for two reasons one there were

[00:56:50] at one point in time um earlier in the day we're in the park and i saw a marvel character near

[00:56:57] avengers campus and like oh i'm gonna go take a photo and then i realized oh i don't think that's

[00:57:03] a cast member and i was like oh my god that's an amazing costume and then later on we when we were

[00:57:08] back in go see all the different villains and we saw we were in the area of dca where

[00:57:14] the inner sanctum is where um okay dr strange occasionally shows up and agatha was there

[00:57:21] and so it was very timely it was you know she was uh a lot of the characters are up there just

[00:57:27] kind of like roasting people so if you saw sid from toy story he's just it's a comedian who's

[00:57:34] just like ripping on people for like two hours it was great um but at one point in time like she's

[00:57:39] interacting with audience my son like said something and then she like shot back and roasted

[00:57:44] them it was very funny so that would be my uh that would be my rando halloween mcu how about you

[00:57:50] nice nice yeah i um for mine i went ahead i went with the midnight suns video game uh so this came out

[00:58:05] last year yeah last year last year two years ago it came out sometime recently it's all themed in that

[00:58:14] supernatural area of of the mcu um you're fighting you are fighting hydra for some of it but you're also

[00:58:22] fighting supernatural forces and it is it's super super fun it features the very first marvel

[00:58:33] customizable character to ever appear in a video game which is kind of cool um so one of your characters

[00:58:40] that you play as is your own kind of characters called the hunter um and you can fully customize

[00:58:46] him and he's not from the comics or they're not from the comics um but it features you know scarlet witch

[00:58:55] magic is nico mineru blade iron man cap uh spider-man venom uh deadpools i think in one of the dlcs

[00:59:09] it's it's it's super super fun um it it's a little bit i would say towards the nerdy rpg side of video

[00:59:19] games uh the battle system's kind of fun funky it's it's like a mix of a turn-based game with some card

[00:59:26] elements um but i would say don't let don't let the nerdiness intimidate you it's super fun full of

[00:59:35] easter eggs you like to to increase your relationship with the various characters you have

[00:59:42] to give them gifts and some of the gifts you can give them are like pivotal pivotal comic issues that

[00:59:49] their character was in um and those get those usually do the best for those characters and it's

[00:59:54] it's really really fun and and i have i have enjoyed the heck out of it i need to finish it i i kind of

[01:00:04] started playing it before ted was too much into mimicry but now he's very into like mimicking

[01:00:10] things and so try and stay away from like fighting video games when uh he's awake and that just means

[01:00:17] my video game time is very limited because uh like it's actually kind of funny i was playing the spider

[01:00:24] man video game and you know you do fight you fight bad guys and stuff in that and uh my wife was like

[01:00:31] you can't play that around ted anymore he's punched me too many times jesus christ i was like cool

[01:00:36] heard chef uh so so yeah uh but but yeah midnight sun's super super super fun like i say full of deep

[01:00:48] easter eggs and full of witchy goodness you you your your base of operations is in salem massachusetts and

[01:00:57] so you you get to see a lot of the salem stuff there's also some like history pieces that you can

[01:01:04] go hunt down and pick up and yeah it's it's a good time for sure that's fun i like yeah yeah i'm bummed

[01:01:13] you don't have a little more video game time but i completely get it especially if it means that your

[01:01:19] son is assaulting your wife while role-playing a spider-man yeah exactly uh yeah um we we just have to

[01:01:26] skip that part of spidey dad i want to be venom and all of a sudden she's like oh no no now the bridge

[01:01:33] is too far son um so so yeah let's uh let's see here anything else for spooky season you got david

[01:01:43] uh that's basically it are you and and you is trick-or-treating a big thing in your area

[01:01:49] uh we now that we're in like a neighborhood that's got kids and stuff we it's usually usually a pretty

[01:01:55] solid we get you know 20 30 kids through that's good yeah that's good so with that being said oh

[01:02:05] i was gonna say within a couple years ted just go on his own my man yeah exactly give him a bag and

[01:02:10] see in a couple hours yep so all right well i think i hear some music in the distance so let's uh let's

[01:02:19] get this play and that music can mean one thing only we're headed to the trailer park i you got me man

[01:02:58] you stumped me the whole time i'm just like what's the song what's the relevance it's trailer park boys

[01:03:04] it's the it's the theme from trailer park okay am i in a fever dream i have no idea what's going on

[01:03:11] um yeah it's it's the the theme from trailer park boys so we do have a trailer this week or this month

[01:03:20] we finally have a trailer it's been a minute since we've had a good one um so very very very excited

[01:03:28] um i was so excited when i saw this trailer come out so this the trailer we're going to talk about

[01:03:34] here is uh marvel's thunderbolts asterisk uh we don't know what the asterisk means still but uh so

[01:03:44] real quick to break down kind of the action of the trailer uh we we start off by seeing uh yelena

[01:03:52] kind of coming to red guardian's house pretty comedic scene with him you know saying i didn't

[01:04:00] i didn't doordash anything and that they they kind of have a little bit of a conversation we move over to

[01:04:07] what is clearly a mission for the well i guess we kind of cut to seeing everybody we see we kind of

[01:04:14] catch up with all the thunderbolts first uh so we see that like bucky seems to be you know very buttoned

[01:04:22] up he's appearing in some sort of court proceedings it would seem um john walker has a kid apparently

[01:04:29] uh elena is doing missions um then we we see a elena and and the rest of the thunderbolts in a

[01:04:42] underground bunker um i would say they're probably not codified as the uh thunderbolts just yet but we

[01:04:52] see elena ghost in a new costume uh we see john walker in his u.s agent costume and we see i think we

[01:05:04] also saw taskmaster in a new costume yep um and then they see bob

[01:05:15] now at first i was wondering if it's because bill pullman lewis pullman is playing bob um and i thought

[01:05:25] i was really curious if they were going to do hydra agent bob which for those who don't know there is a

[01:05:32] specific named hydra agent from he usually interacts with deadpool the most named bob he's he's hydra agent

[01:05:40] bob it does not look like that's who who lewis pullman is playing uh later in the trailer we

[01:05:48] actually see somebody pick up centuries belt buckle uh or a belt buckle with with century with a very

[01:05:55] century looking logo on it uh so i am nearly certain bob is going to be century if it's not hydra bob i'm

[01:06:05] not going to watch the movie i'm just putting it right now um so so you see all kinds of other like ensuing

[01:06:12] action you know you see bucky pull his his tissue his arm out of the dishwasher

[01:06:20] i can't be right man that's gotta fry like some circuitry inside i don't know i mean it is it's

[01:06:28] wakandan tech maybe it's rinse maybe it's just rinse well you know i bet they they had to have made it

[01:06:34] waterproof right like wild wild i'm not buying any of their premises anymore of their flying superhero

[01:06:41] anyway uh i like this i like so i'll say a couple things one it was really nice fun to see some

[01:06:48] characters we hadn't seen for a while i i really wish like properties like these i wish they could just

[01:06:55] strike a little bit quicker you know what i mean like if this could have followed up closer to

[01:07:01] um falcon the winter soldier or and black widow and closer to ant-man 2 to like because it's been a

[01:07:10] while yeah right yeah yeah it's been a couple years i think since any of these i mean i guess yelena

[01:07:18] yelena is probably the most recent and she showed up in 21 yeah in um black widow well

[01:07:28] she showed up in hawkeye yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah there's some dribs and drabs for sure but ghost was

[01:07:36] like dude that's like six years ago yeah i will say the new costumes for both ghost and taskmaster look

[01:07:43] excellent um they're super super cool um but yeah i agree i think i i do wish this was a little closer

[01:07:52] of a release um very very strong suicide squad vibes which completely that's what thunderbolts is

[01:08:01] like thunderbolts is the suicide squad of marvel um i hope that they can avoid being just a carbon copy

[01:08:09] but but it is you know it's a fun trailer i would definitely encourage anybody who hasn't watched it

[01:08:16] go out and watch it it's really really fun and it got me actually really hyped for the movie like i was

[01:08:24] already i'm gonna be excited for any marvel movie but like this trailer was like oh i want this now

[01:08:30] like i need this in my eyeballs well um as we get get close to the end of the year we preview 2025

[01:08:38] it'll be interesting to gauge our relative excitement for various properties this is one i'm really

[01:08:45] interested in seeing how it plays out i agree with you it's it's the you know cast off ragtag

[01:08:56] superheroes i guess i can use that term now without getting sued by marvel and dc

[01:09:02] that uh is similar to suicide squad but i hope they don't do a marvel suicide squad yes but you have

[01:09:11] kind of a blank canvas and none of the the advantage i think that this movie has is with the exception of

[01:09:19] bucky no one's got a really huge like background and story yeah yeah yelena is probably the second

[01:09:29] largest there just because like she appeared in what two projects um outside of that everybody's

[01:09:36] like a one and done you know yeah john walker was was falcon in the winter soldier and he was done

[01:09:42] alexi was alexi and taskmaster both were black widow and they're done ghost was ant-man and the wasp

[01:09:53] and she's done so yeah definitely really interesting and and i mean we do see val right valentina uh she

[01:10:03] she shows up in the trailer which she's going to be running the the thunderbolts it would seem

[01:10:10] um so we have but we have no idea in terms of like storyline or villain we just know it's a

[01:10:15] probably assembly movie i just yeah the the two things i would say are one

[01:10:22] this will also be a nice opportunity to kind of rehabilitate some of the characters like

[01:10:27] you know the i thought the ghost character was interesting but kind of disappeared and and

[01:10:33] wasn't really a villain more of an antagonist disappearing oh my god hey oh it's halloween

[01:10:41] well there's my costume ghost ghost anyway okay we need i need to talk to you after the show

[01:10:51] um taskmaster was kind of like not a great supervillain so it'll be interesting to see

[01:10:58] the team up um and the dynamic and then kind of go in any direction so i hope it's i hope it's

[01:11:07] kind of fun i hope it's kind of funny i think you know the the um

[01:11:15] um john walker character i think was kind of one-dimensional like yeah uber amped up bad guy

[01:11:23] like can you how can you fix his character and the other and the last thing i'll say is that because

[01:11:29] we've done it with bucky right bucky was the clear villain rehabilitator now you know brought in

[01:11:35] comedic stuff brought in like you know um emotion and is like i would say one of the more underrated

[01:11:41] marvel heroes and so this is just it'll be interesting canvas see where they go with it

[01:11:47] yeah for sure for sure so i'm super excited that's may of next year so we've got about six months here

[01:11:54] um before that one comes out so very very very very excited uh go check out that trailer

[01:12:00] um but yeah so i think that does it here for the monthly bugle here in our spooky season of october

[01:12:08] 2024 i hope everybody goes out and enjoys some of the stuff we talked about some of the the things to

[01:12:16] do if you're a marvel fan obviously we didn't talk about everything there's there's obviously other

[01:12:21] halloween stuff out there disney plus has a really nice uh halloween section and they actually have like

[01:12:28] the disney junior and disney channel stuff um you can find the specific halloween episodes so if you're

[01:12:35] looking for you know like i said my son loves spidey and his amazing friends it's got some

[01:12:40] halloween episodes they've got them curated there go check that out um enjoy enjoy halloween

[01:12:47] and we will be back our next main show will be on captain marvel with special guest dan uh so dan from

[01:13:01] supreme resort and bowie splaining um and scraping the vault he's gonna come on he's gonna join us for

[01:13:10] uh captain marvel so come check that out it should be out the first tuesday of the month um so a couple

[01:13:18] of those shows i mentioned like i said scraping the vault uh that's basically our rewatch podcast that

[01:13:25] we do except they do it about um disney straight to video sequels uh then as i mentioned dan's also on

[01:13:34] uh the supreme resort which is a land versus land ride versus ride comparison uh they're doing some

[01:13:41] pretty fun stuff right now with hotels versus hotels uh in the disney parks really really fun

[01:13:47] content over on their feed uh i also mentioned he's on bowie splaining which uh frequent guests of the

[01:13:55] show also eric is his co-host on that they go and they talk about david bowie uh albums one by one

[01:14:01] super fun super fun also on our network you have bantha milk um they talk about star warsy stuff

[01:14:09] you also have uh the the new show on the network the new guys point of vista boys uh jason from

[01:14:20] ears up and his uh and matt from uh i think it's called into oblivion is his other podcast but

[01:14:29] um the show is called bonita vista boys they're covering like the old school bonita vista live

[01:14:35] action movies it's actually a really fun show um if you like kind of the deep dives into movies that we

[01:14:42] do um they do the same thing uh they kind of deep dive into like i say those live action old school

[01:14:49] bonita vista think like hot lead cold feet or moon pilot that kind of thing um really really fun show

[01:14:57] and then the namesake show for the network ears up they just released their new episode um jeremy was

[01:15:04] back to do a spectro time segment uh that spectro time segment was pretty fun it was about ford's

[01:15:10] magic skyway um but they're you know they do disneyland content so go check them out

[01:15:17] check us out on patreon um just before sitting down to record here i actually did finish editing

[01:15:24] our ant-man and the wasp secret spoiler show or no sorry our infinity war secret spoiler show so that

[01:15:32] should be going up soon um but check out our patreon and and get that content oh i think those are oh

[01:15:44] oh oh one last show to plug uh this uh the hub crawl i actually was on the hub crawl in their most recent

[01:15:51] episode uh went out to their supporters today i think as of recording so as of release it'll be

[01:15:56] on their feed um we did talk a little bit about marvel stuff i i got to borrow uh one of the co-hosts

[01:16:03] of that show tag he's famous for getting on his soapbox i got on my soapbox about marvel stuff so

[01:16:09] go check that out it's the opinions you've you've heard a little bit of them here but i expand upon

[01:16:14] them a little bit there uh so go check that one out and i think that's all the plugs

[01:16:23] david do you have anything to plug nope just hope everyone has a happy uh halloween heck yeah guys

[01:16:30] cool well we will see you on the next monthly bugle and we will see you on our next rewatch

[01:16:38] with captain marvel until then enough said
