[00:00:00] Welcome to Puny Pod's Monthly Bugle for December of 2023. My name is Ryan and my co-host as always is David. David, how are you doing today? I am doing very well. I am excited to talk about and finally get some new content.
[00:00:19] I am excited not to report on labor strikes anymore. I am happy just to focus on the content. I am also very happy and lifting, lifting the curtain a little bit. We just recorded our
[00:00:34] Antman episode so if we do more of our time warp stuff it's just because we passed through the Quantum Realm and we forgot what time we came out in. I shrunk down so small. I can't push the recording button. I am really happy.
[00:00:51] David, well this monthly bugle as we kind of shaped up the content that we have for it here and we looked at it. We started thinking about stuff. Really what this one kind of became was
[00:01:03] a what's to come in the future as well as what I am going to call Ryan's Marvel Holiday Guide Things to Do which just a couple quick pieces of content. I have something to give you something fun to listen to here as you are wrapping your Christmas
[00:01:21] presents or celebrating. Hopefully I get this out on Tuesday so Hannaka will also be relevant for us here but hopefully you all can listen to this while you're dealing with or while you're with family. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
[00:01:47] In the end, let's talk about kind of what's coming up for Marvel in the future. What's on the slate going forward? David why don't you take it away? Sure. Yeah, so as the aforementioned writers and actors strikes really as we talked about
[00:02:08] before and won't get into it again but really delayed and impacted schedules for all scripted, US movies, TV shows etc. So what we're looking at right now in terms of Marvel content and we're going to include we're going to cheat a little bit and include some Marvel content
[00:02:27] which are not being produced by the Disney MCU. So we've met him web which is coming out February 14th, 2024 that is a Sony property. We have Deadpool 3 which is an MCU property that's going to be coming out as we mentioned before
[00:02:46] July 26th, 2024 so hopefully that'll be a big summertime banger. We have Venom 3 coming out November 8, 2024. I'm the Sony property because that is Spider-Man as is Craven the Hunter and that will come out August 30th, 2024 that is a Sony property and then Spider-Man behind the spider
[00:03:08] verse the sequel to the last spider verse movie is TV day and I for one cannot wait for that TV day because I cannot wait to see that movie. That's honestly those animated spider verse movies are the best Marvel content on this
[00:03:26] on the slate in the last I would say two three years. Yeah, yeah my wife who is not a Marvel fan said that was I think she said it was like the best film she saw last year just visually just how amazing it was so great.
[00:03:42] Couple of those have trailers so Craven the Hunter I know it's trailer came out a while back and we get to see quick silver is Craven the Hunter. The actor yes, yes. The actor who famously said Thomas Anderson I think is last name.
[00:04:03] And then he was worried about getting like roped into like doing like super hero movies for a long period time and here he is roped into doing super movies. Yeah, Aaron Taylor Taylor Johnson doing his super hero movies and then the other one that we just
[00:04:17] got a trailer for was Madem Webb so we just got that trailer at recording I think we just got that trailer a couple weeks ago Dakota Johnson plays Madem Webb and we're going to get the the spider women showing up which is kind of cool.
[00:04:36] I really like that they're expanding the spider verse pretty pretty extensively on to film because I think that's something that has happened in the comics a lot but most people only really know about spider man and arguably all of their abilities are pretty derivative of spider
[00:04:57] spider man like ultimately it's just a lot of like kind of the same thing but it's really cool to see different characters takes on those power sets. There are some different power sets in there right spider woman famously does not have
[00:05:12] web shooting abilities and all that good stuff she has like poison bites and that sort of stuff and a lot of people that that's like the how you saws out of fake comic fan is if they think that spider
[00:05:24] spider woman is just a woman version of spider man but you know it is it is cool to see Sony developed that spider verse and at the end of in or no way home we did get that universe crossing over right because we saw Tom Hardy
[00:05:51] as Eddie Brock at a bar and he left behind some venom symbiote in the MCU so really cool to I hope that that gets across over more and it's cool to see you know another
[00:06:07] marvel property develop without Iron Man without Captain America without the Avengers like they're developing their own universe in a really cool way over there. Yeah yeah I wasn't mad in web I just wasn't on my radar I completely missed it if you will
[00:06:24] watch the trailer and madam one has psychic abilities so to let the incredible answer and press the stuff like that and sound the one funny part of it were like someone says she's like I could see the future some of those rocker and I didn't see that Yeah.
[00:06:43] Side of me hopefully it'll be in a similar vein as spider man which is okay a little bit more grounded because we're not talking about like cosmic gods but
[00:06:53] sense of humor light should be I'm hoping it'll be funny and yeah look forward to it for sure for sure Dead on the Deadpool free three front well earlier early this week we saw some more spoiler images come out from
[00:07:12] sat I because of the second part of what I'm about to say I'm not going to share who was in those images because and if you want to go look for it look for yourself there's definitely out there there's tons of
[00:07:27] spoiler content for Deadpool three but what's funny is Ryan Reynolds who plays Deadpool then later this week posted something that was basically like hey guys stop taking pictures of our sets put your telephoto lens away it ruins the magic for everybody and he's like here's some
[00:07:49] here's some official spoiler images for you and it was poorly edited but it had things like there's a shot of Deadpool and Wolverine fighting the predator from the predator franchise there's a shot of Deadpool walking away with big ol bags of money walking away from Mickey Mouse
[00:08:12] there's a shot of there's kind of a now famous spoiler shot that's been pretty passed around so I'm comfortable talking about this one where you see the 20th century fox logo in the background but they edited it so it was the
[00:08:27] quibi logo from the short live streaming service quibi so definitely really funny you can check out Ryan Reynolds Facebook page for more of those like spoiled quote on quote spoiler images that he shared to kind of riff on what people are doing out there yeah there's
[00:08:47] another about you know quote the leak pictures right like he's the best he's great fantastic fantastic well David outside of the movies what do we got going on so we have a number of MCU TV shows and many of these are some of them are animated summer
[00:09:13] of live action so we have what if which is launching here in a couple weeks starts December 22nd which I am really looking forward to and which we saw a trailer for and running a you saw the trailer probably watched it like the supporter film
[00:09:30] well your thoughts of the trailer trailer looks really fun I think so the release strategy for this was was announced in the trailer they're going daily from the 20 second and then running for nine episodes
[00:09:46] from there daily the episodes that they are showing you know it I don't know if these are like confirmed but looks to be a what if Nebula joined the Nova Corps so Nebula goes good and hangs out with Nova what if Peter Quill attacked earth's
[00:10:04] media Avengers which will be interesting I believe that'll probably be a continuation type story in the first season of what if there were a couple of episodes that were
[00:10:13] like back to back where they did kind of the same thing so I imagine Nebula will join the Nova Corps and then have to figure out Peter Quill attacking the Avengers what if happy Hogan
[00:10:24] safe Christmas that one comes out on Christmas of course that one looks pretty fun there's some like dead some die hard references and stuff in the trailer that we see there
[00:10:36] what if Iron Man crashed into the grandmaster which this one in the trailer looks to be kind of death racie and very reminiscent of like Mad Max or death race 2000 that kind of aesthetic
[00:10:49] this is actually a scrap storyline from phase or from the first season that actually had some toys that was going to be like what if Iron Man got stuck on the other side of the portal
[00:11:04] during the battle of New York and then ended up on Sakaar and kind of built his suits there which there actually were toys released of that but due to COVID they didn't actually
[00:11:18] make that episode so this is kind of what looks to be a reconfiguring lot of the toys that were released at least the images in this trailer don't look like the toys that were really so I think it's probably going to be they reworked it a little bit
[00:11:34] what if Captain Carter fought the hydrostomper which that plays into our after credit sting from the first season of what if what if the Avengers assembled in 19 I'm sorry in 1602 which that is actually a pole from the comics it was an arc written by Neil
[00:11:57] Gamin pretty big sci-fi writer I'm sure most a lot of our listeners know that name well so hero a an arc of comics that was set in 1602 and was about the Avengers similar to Ben
[00:12:13] what if hell of found the ten rings which that oh my goodness that's going to be crazy and then what if Corey which if that name sounds familiar to you you are really obsessed with
[00:12:28] Marvel because the only reason we know Corey is from this press she is a indigenous American hero that is being developed specifically for what if she does not have a comic
[00:12:45] background the what if here seems to be if the test erect fell to North America rather than Norway and so this is what if Corey reshaped the world and then the last one what if strange supreme
[00:13:01] which I think that's probably going to play back into the overarching story that we saw in season one where kind of at the end of season one it stopped being these one off you know in a bubble
[00:13:17] type stories and it expanded into this big fight between old Sean empowered by the infinity stones in the watcher and all that good stuff and I think this will be you know what if strange supreme
[00:13:30] who we saw in the first season what if he kind of entered that fight is there is a particular episode the most looking forward to um I'll be curious to see the cat the happy hogan saved Christmas I think that one will be fun
[00:13:50] I'll be curious and maybe that will take part in the iron man three timeline now that I'm thinking about it yeah although as we talked about for iron man three is not a question we'll get there we'll get there that's an ex-saccharity
[00:14:06] I'm looking forward to seeing the Avengers assembling in Elizabethan times and what that will be cool I'm also I will also say as an iron man I am stoked for like iron man on secar like a different version of iron man
[00:14:24] and I love like the aesthetic of Mad Max and like death race in those sort of movies that are like very vehicular and post-apocalyptic kind of thing and so to put iron man in that those are like two of my favorite things getting married
[00:14:40] so I'm here for you. Yeah that's good the other thing is if you looked really closely at the trailer one of the several scenes teased a new roster for the Avengers and so much of his hobby was Captain Carter, Wasp, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thorne Hawkeye
[00:15:01] So for the original Avengers wait is it for it? No like iron man, Thor, Wasp, Antman and then five from the Avengers the first Avengers movie right? So Hawkeye, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, missing someone. Captain Carter well Captain Carter's a wild guard there.
[00:15:28] Yeah yeah so I'm looking I can't wait to see what if I'm gonna have to rewatch the first season kind of got a couple weeks here before watch it and then
[00:15:37] as far as other content coming out the first in 2024 is echo which is coming out on January 10 this was supposed to come out in July and then it was all going to be dumped around Thanksgiving time
[00:15:51] There were a lot of buzz around this one that it was going to might be less than fantastic but initial reviews for the two episodes of echo I get the you know when talked about it before
[00:16:02] I think they went back look at what they had reworked it and now it is dark. The first two the initial episodes were released to critics who described it as violent brutal, gritty, dark.
[00:16:19] Great sense around native America culture there were some questions around pacing and creative decisions but it's you know two episodes and we'll see how the rest of that goes. Yeah that one should be interesting the other thing I'm realizing because this week.
[00:16:34] Disney put out the beta version of Hulu on Disney plus and they're converging those apps. I actually wonder if that was behind the decision to move it to January because this is a co-release in on Disney plus and Hulu.
[00:16:48] And so I kind of and rumors are that the greater the conversion is or the convergence of those apps is going to really start in earnest in January.
[00:17:01] The kind of wonder if backing up echo was part of that too is like oh well if we're just going to make them want to app you know let's wait till they're those two apps have kind of joined together. To put this content out.
[00:17:17] Yeah I don't know I think I personally think that was not the issue as much as like the writer strike and then the actor strike and can't rewrite stuff and can't retool things and just you know you've got something there.
[00:17:30] It's like this is 60% of a series but we've got to redo 40% and we just can't do it that point in time. It does I'm actually hey because we've had a death of content for a long period of time I'm just a bit of a joke for anything.
[00:17:45] So I'm looking forward to echo will be interesting to see I think they're still are they still dropping it all at once is that right? Yeah yeah. And reminder for folks myself included to change the maturity rating on Disney plus so you can watch it.
[00:18:04] Just remember my password so everyone emailed Jason and have him reset my Disney plus patch or 40 I'm just kidding. I'm also coming out and early 2024 is X-Men 97 so animated series which should be good I get the sense it for 97.
[00:18:26] I think you and I talked about before we thought I thought I thought I was done I thought I was complete.
[00:18:32] They've done they've done press on it through like their official channels and like at com macons and stuff like that so it it feels like it's something that's in the bucket that they just need to release but yeah I don't know.
[00:18:44] Yeah Agatha Kevin of chaos and fall 2024 I haven't heard too much. I'm gonna have seen little snippets here there but like if you heard much about that title we did get the confirmation that it will come in fall 2024 and there was a few scenes that were like.
[00:19:04] They were used in behind the scenes content on the physical release so this is I guess a little bit of news we didn't really cover it here ever but. Disney Marvel decided to release the first.
[00:19:19] First season of Loki and wand division as well as Falcon Winners older I think. On physical so they released him on Blu-ray and in the special features for that there was this kind of it was like a two minute little thing that was really highlighting Agatha but.
[00:19:40] During that little two minute thing they said hey Agatha is coming back in her own show in fall of 2024 so that that kind of confirmed it and it that's the most we've heard about it in a while. Yeah one division was 20 20. Is that right? Yeah I think so.
[00:20:01] Yeah so um I mean it goes to show like I mean they had the idea back then just go to show like how long some of this content really takes to produce.
[00:20:10] Spider-Man freshman year which is an animated series which will be coming out in TBD 2024 and then Marvel zombies also TBD 2024 so that's the slate of Marvel content. And through in the sixth prize this was something through the end of 2024.
[00:20:29] Yeah so one movie several TV shows which is cool I mean a lot of them are animated right. What if it's technically in 2023 but. X-Men 97 Spider-Man freshman year Marvel zombies those are all animated projects which those are a little bit easier to get done in a hurry.
[00:20:53] Just because you you have the animators one weren't on strike and two. They they can just come together a little bit quicker and easier well I mean let's be honest any comics are animated. Yeah it's really well.
[00:21:11] Yeah yeah it's but it is I think it's easier I mean you still have to have stories you still have to have voice actors you still have to produce everything but the budgets are lower you should know you could hopefully I'm really hopeful that the animated.
[00:21:28] Line of content really takes off and it's not like your typical maybe not your typical Saturday morning cartoon kind of stuff but but to be able like in what if certainly was not.
[00:21:40] And so if they're able to like leverage that more until more stories that might be the you know the Disney plus content.
[00:21:49] They can bounce out more with that with the live action and the stuff that requires a lot of CGI and production value and so forth and then are a lot more expensive to produce as long as they set aside a little bit of that budget to get the theme for X-Men 97 I will be happy.
[00:22:07] For those who aren't who aren't familiar go watch X-Men the animated series just turn it on for 30 seconds and enjoy that opening riff because that that like that was a ringtone for me for a while.
[00:22:19] That's what you said had so funny back when we're in tons for a thing. But I don't know you're near.
[00:22:27] Cool man. Well yeah, it should be good time you had it because we have recording this in the tenth of December coming at soon hopefully you had it being the holidays you had a segment you wanted to do on Marvel holiday things to do.
[00:22:47] Heck yeah man heck yeah so this started off as a way for me to extol the virtues of Iron Man 3 but realistically I wanted to talk about you know I developed into kind of a watch list with a little bit of video game and even some music at the end so.
[00:23:08] So yeah I'm going to get into this and all kind of commentate as we go along David feel free to add in your flavor as we go here but. But yeah so things to watch you know we're we're in the holiday season.
[00:23:24] You want to bundle up under a blanket sit down watch watch some good content and you want to do it with your favorite MCU titles.
[00:23:32] First and foremost I'm going to cut right to the chase I'm not saving the best for last I'm going right to it Iron Man 3 best holiday movie in the MCU.
[00:23:43] It is I think the best and only newsy of movie that we have in it's ended anyway we've got into this before yeah it is it is. Go ahead you just want to get your be quiet.
[00:23:57] I just want to get my holiday be quiet as he turns my own joke against no it's it is it is.
[00:24:07] It is absolutely set during the holiday season you can debate what constitutes a holiday movie a Christmas movie what have you I don't think anyone will doubt that like Shane Black likes to do Christmas themed movies set at Christmas time if you will.
[00:24:26] And it definitely evokes that with the with the Christmas tree the stocking one is for Jarvis which still cracks me up.
[00:24:36] The reason why I quit it with a New Year's Eve more film is just the folks like especially in the film be folks change of time and you know turning over new leaf and there are fireworks and so that's why to me it's more black and years.
[00:24:54] I'm just going to be great for the first there for sure no worries no worries.
[00:24:58] If you wanted to dedicate a little bit more time to your watch you could watch Hawkeye so the first season of Hawkeye which actually that's a couple rumors I should mention that was you mentioned that earlier a couple rumors that came out couple weeks ago where that several of the MCU.
[00:25:16] TV projects are going to get second season so I'm going to try and get in the habit of saying season the first season of so the first season of Hawkeye.
[00:25:26] Was set during Christmas time you go through rock a feller center with the Christmas tree as a major plot point I think if I remember right. I'm trying to get home for Christmas is another big part of it so definitely very Christmas themed at released at Christmas time.
[00:25:48] And so definitely it's got that good Christmas feel to it plus who doesn't like pizza dog and you'll ain't up below was super spicy so Rocha mac and cheese so.
[00:26:02] I'm going to put it in the blue for about the mac and cheese that's so funny yeah definitely a definitely holiday movie he's trying to get back home for the holidays it's just a kind of a common theme you see in a lot of.
[00:26:15] Christmas holiday movie types that are not marble as well so yeah. To call.
[00:26:21] We also have Guardians of the Galaxy so a little bit less time now Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special this one's a really good one it's on Disney plus it's I and I should mention everything I think everything I'm going to mention is available on Disney plus so you can go check it out there but.
[00:26:41] Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special super fun actually establishes stuff for the MCU that they end up using that and Guardians three it establishes.
[00:26:52] And it also brings in Kevin Bacon in a really hilarious way with like getting kidnapped off earth and I really enjoyed the Guardians of Galaxy holiday special. the holiday special, it was pretty fantastic. It's pretty great.
[00:27:14] It's a little bit of a nod to the Star Wars holiday special, I think, just in terms of it's kind of like ridiculous campiness and just ideas if you will. Just the very premise plot of kidnapping Kevin Bacon to bring Christmas to Star Lord is just
[00:27:32] just, you just imagine kind of breaking the concept of you well. It does there's some stuff that are the ties to the dust hide to Guardian 3, it's your Cosmo The Dog, you have to see him in a slot.
[00:27:48] There was a lot there, it's very short, it's a great watch, it's pretty funny, you get to see anything on one spot, let's go watch it, it's good. Yeah, it's a very good one if you've been skipping it because you're like, oh, it's a special,
[00:28:02] it doesn't matter to the movies, go watch it, it does matter to the movies for one and for two. It's just a good time. I'm going to mention a couple others here. Well first, first let me mention what if season 2 is coming out through Christmas.
[00:28:19] Go enjoy that, that's obvious we talked about that just second ago, go enjoy that. And then I'm going to get to some stretches here. So first, stretch is Spider-Man No Way Home. This is definitively set in November to separate time frame.
[00:28:35] But it does end in the Christmas season. So when Peter goes back into the diner at the very end of the movie, there is Hanukkah and Christmas discord throughout the the diner.
[00:28:52] And we actually see in his like in the suit reveal and they're like doing the reveal of like the new Spider-Man suit at the very, very the last scene of the movie. He swings through Rockfeller Center past the Christmas tree.
[00:29:07] So it is set Christmas Eve. I don't know that it's got the Christmas feels to it. I guess that redemption story is a little bit Christmasy and maybe maybe you'll make your feel good. But
[00:29:21] you know that's my stretch here. And David, I saw you also through it another one that I think you'll want to watch with the same night that you watched Nightmare before Christmas. Yeah, the number for Christmas. You mean where will we find night?
[00:29:38] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We're planning a Halloween film. We're really good. I remember first time I was watching as well. I'm a completionist and Disney Plus is telling me to watch where we're both by night and White Ots. And it's really good. I enjoyed it.
[00:29:54] I'm not going to watch the color version that to me seems to be just a cash grab to like just a content grab, just to like get something else out there. You know, so it's super
[00:30:06] something else big produced. But I will allow Spider-Man No way home. I you know again, something that is set at during the holidays may not necessarily be a holiday movie, but it does have
[00:30:18] some of the themes and you know 30 rock followers. I've very kind of well known kind of iconic Christmas tree scene or Christmas tea, Christmas tree scenery, I should say. Absolutely. Absolutely. Well, before we get off movies and into even some non-mainline MCU stuff,
[00:30:40] well I guess this is all, this all falls into non-mainline MCU. Before I get back into some marble stuff, I do want to also give a special shout out. I hid this one from David in our show notes.
[00:30:52] This one is a superhero movie. It is definitely a Christmas movie and it is the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic, Jingle all the way. Arnold Schwarzenegger is in bed. I mean, you know what, if you're a
[00:31:10] superhero fan, you will enjoy Jingle all the way, I think, because not that it hugs on your superhero side sensitivities, but if you are anywhere between, if you, if you are someone who read any
[00:31:26] marble comics or liked marble TV shows as a kid or anything, you probably ask for action figures as a kid. And so I do think Jingle all the way will probably warm your holiday heart.
[00:31:38] Yeah, that was not expecting that one. Just yeah, though the turboman doll, like yeah, I could go to sorry, it's terrible. Ah, well played, well played my man. So then I do want to mention some non-mainline TV shows that do have marble or that are marble
[00:31:59] and do have Christmas episodes. I'm only going to, I'm going to try and highlight only the ones that I know because everything has a Christmas episode, agents of smash, which I have not watched has a Christmas episode. I think it's called It's a Wonderful Smash. Guardians of Galaxy
[00:32:17] has a Christmas episode, ultimate spider-man. There's this called the Moon Night before Christmas. X-Men evolution, big hero 6, spectacular spider-man, all of them have Christmas episodes. I'm not going to highlight them too much because you can definitely go, I found like literally
[00:32:36] a database online that was all the Christmas episodes of anything that exists. It's pretty great resource, but definitely go check that out. If you want to go see the Christmas episodes of those shows if you're familiar with them. But the other ones that I am familiar with is
[00:32:54] Spidey and his amazing friends, which is a preschool spider-man show. I watch it with my son all the time. They the way that they show those on Disney channel is kind of two episodes back to back
[00:33:07] and so they have halted holiday and merry-spidey Christmas. They're fun, it's silly, it's definitely preschool, so like go watch out with your kids. It's really enjoyable. X-Men the animated series which we mentioned earlier, season 4 episode 12, have yourself a more lock little Christmas,
[00:33:29] which I just have to share the synopsis from IMDB for this one because as I was like trying to remind myself of what existed, this one came up and this synopsis just absolutely killed
[00:33:44] me. Storm and Grouchy Humbug Wolverine go last minute shopping in Manhattan only to be caught in a life-redeck crisis involving Leech the littlest more lock. It's very, very silly, very, very fun.
[00:34:03] And then the last one this is actually a special that's set in the same universe as Agents of Smash, Guardians of Galaxy. There's an Avengers show and that's same universe as well. It's called Marvel Super Hero Adventures Frostfight. I've actually watched this one back in 2015. I know not
[00:34:20] 2015, 2018. I watched 300 movies within the year and this was one that I watched. It's fun, it's silly, the Avengers fighting Frost Giants at Christmas time, holiday themed hijinks in Sue. So pretty fun one and I believe all that is also available on Disney+.
[00:34:41] Well yeah and I think they do a pretty good job. I remember going into Disney+, a little while ago and they have a big section of like holiday themed content. So this probably
[00:34:55] find these there or and or other titles as well. Yeah, then a quick quick plug for a video game to play if you haven't yet. So the Suedo sequel to the PlayStation Spider-Man movie or video
[00:35:12] games sorry so there was Spider-Man and then there's a Suedo sequel that Spider-Man Miles Morales. That one is set at Christmas time and so you get to whip your way around a snow covered
[00:35:26] manhattan as Miles Morales. I haven't played all the way through it but I do love those games. The second one just came out so the actual sequel Spider-Man 2 came out. But it is those are
[00:35:40] really good time and honestly like killing some time playing those games and just swinging around manhattan is a good time. So definitely a good one there and then a couple plugs for music. One is
[00:35:53] the the Guardians holiday special does have a a soundtrack that's out on like Spotify and that's or stuff. It's really good. There's some pretty funny like songs in there but the other one that
[00:36:09] I discovered this is based on a throwaway joke from the into the Spider-Verse movies where it was like oh Spider-Man made a Christmas album. They actually produced there's a five song album that was actually produced called a very spidey Christmas that has Shemik War who voiced
[00:36:35] Miles singing Christmas carols about wanting to get paid a spider-man at the end he plugs he plugs away to pay for his web shooters. You have Chris Pine who played Peter Parker in Miles
[00:36:53] Morales's universe and he dies kind of at the beginning of into the Spider-Verse spoiler alert for several years old but yeah so that Peter Parker he sings two different songs and they're very much it's very tongue-in-cheek. I actually it's funny because he played Kirk in the Star Trek
[00:37:20] Remakes and they are very that his songs are very reminiscent to me of some of William Shattner's like musical exploits which is just funny that it's Chris Pine doing that. Yeah the
[00:37:35] form one Kirk to another right? Right and then you have Jake Johnson who played Peter B Parker in those movies he also does a fun little like kind of lounge singer E Christmas tune and then the
[00:37:53] very last track on there which is so good is Jorma I can't remember or pronounce his last name but Jorma from the lonely island who voiced spider ham in those movies doing a reading of
[00:38:10] the night before Christmas and it is hilarious. I was like I showed my wife this because I discovered this in research and I was like playing it for my wife and she was like oh this is funny and then
[00:38:23] like we're getting ready for bed and I was still listening to it and whatever and she heard the night before Christmas and she was just like dying laughing. That's too fun. So good so go check that out
[00:38:35] it is on Spotify if you're Spotify subscribe or I'm sure it's on a lot of your your places that you go to find music but that's called a very spidey Christmas it is a good time for sure.
[00:38:47] And maybe we can include some names in the show notes for people so if you want to look at any of this content of yourself like especially some of the musical songs are played because
[00:39:00] it doubt your writing things down with a pen paper. Yeah in the show notes I'll put I'll put titles and also put like episodes for the Christmas episodes of the various shows so
[00:39:13] that if you want to go straight to it you don't have to go searching it out too much but yeah so with that all being said happy holidays everybody it is it's the you know the end of the year here
[00:39:27] we're we're wrapping up our first years of podcast and really exciting time here so the next episode that you will hear is Ant Man we just recorded it that's why my voice sounds so awful right now
[00:39:40] but we just recorded Ant Man remember to check out the other shows on our network scraping the vault should be doing some some holiday stuff here soon too so go check them out for for more
[00:39:53] holiday themed content the our flagship show years up also does a holiday themed episode around this time of year and I'm trying to get my voice onto that one so some fun fun stuff there and
[00:40:11] spring resort is also out there. Bantha milks also out there I don't think Bantha milk is doing anything particularly holiday themed or anything like that but yeah yeah they should do a rewatch
[00:40:22] of the original holiday special they did they did that they were Star Wars podcast a few years ago they did like a livestream of themselves watching it. Have you watched it recently? Oh yeah oh yeah
[00:40:35] to the part that are just wild like yeah but cocaine was being consumed. Well look at carry fishers pinky the pinky nail and I'll tell you all need to know. It's definitely like to try with
[00:40:47] people and like okay here's the it's got mod in it like what's happening yeah and let me and just like yeah so we're like pornographic. I'm a horny bookie and just like the man but but birth of
[00:41:03] the first rival of BobaFat which is the like that anime to part of the best part of that thing. Yeah yeah and Jefferson Starship somehow. Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. But yeah so
[00:41:16] so yeah everybody you know happy holidays and happy new year we'll talk to you in the new year with Ant-Man and we certainly appreciate your support and support your support and we are so
[00:41:33] glad that you are with us here for this year and we will look forward to several more I think we've got five more years of content planned out so look forward to the marbles in 28. Yeah well until I get
[00:41:49] replaced with AI and Robert and then you rise this to him to show by himself right. Exactly exactly. All right y'all well I think that's enough said.
