[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_03]: EarzUp!
[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, what's up everybody?
[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_04]: EarzUp Podcast.
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_04]: We are...we're doing something fun and crazy today.
[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_04]: We are over on Twitch for the very first time
[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_04]: on this show.
[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_04]: This show is on Twitch.
[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, that's fun for everybody, I'm sure.
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Except you.
[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Except me.
[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because it's like I'm sitting here.
[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_04]: So, like those of you who haven't turned the stupid music off,
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_04]: those of you who are familiar with Twitch,
[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, that's cool.
[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_04]: For those of you who aren't Ask Your Kids,
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_04]: but you can like, you know,
[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_04]: play different sounds and people follow you or whatever.
[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm sitting here and Mr. P is trying
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_04]: to blow my ear drums out.
[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_04]: He's like triggering all this crap and I'm like,
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_04]: oh man, this is going to actually be painful for editing.
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_04]: But it's cool.
[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It's all good stuff, obviously, right?
[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_04]: But it's just like, it's like one of those
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_04]: audio things that you don't think about until
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_04]: it's in your ears and you're about to work.
[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_04]: And you're like, oh, oh yeah, that's right.
[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Here's a whole, you know, thing.
[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm sure it'll be all right.
[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_04]: But I think if this works,
[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_04]: if I can figure out how to get the show properly edited,
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I think we'll live on Twitch instead of YouTube.
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I've been threatening that for a while.
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: And tonight I was like, let's just do it.
[00:01:50] Yeah.
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot of fun.
[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's obviously a free account, twitch.tv.
[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_04]: And you set up your account.
[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And then if you Google linking your Amazon Prime account with Twitch,
[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_04]: because they're owned by the same company.
[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_04]: If you do that, it's also super easy too.
[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you get a free Prime subscription
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: to any streaming channel that you like, which would be ours.
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_04]: So you go and you can link them
[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you go to our account, which is twitch.tv.
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Slash ears up and you can follow us, which is good.
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you can also sub.
[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_04]: You can subscribe to our channel.
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_04]: We get a couple of Bezos bucks a month.
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's a good way to help the channel out.
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's literally free to you.
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_04]: It just takes maybe five minutes for you to set up.
[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you'll get alerts when we go live
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_04]: and you can have cool emotes.
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And eventually I'm going to trigger.
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_04]: So Mr. P printed this thing out as Tiki drummer.
[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_06]: That's kind of cool, right?
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_04]: But I'm having my buddy kind of scale it up a little bit more.
[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to motorize it.
[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_04]: And that I'm going to have, you know, people can trigger that
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_04]: during the show. It'll be fun.
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_04]: It'll be a fun thing.
[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_04]: It's way more interactive than YouTube.
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, we'll check that out.
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_04]: The unfortunate side is Twitch plays ads.
[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's something I didn't really tell anybody.
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Because I kind of just realized like, oh no,
[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I have things that I need to tell everybody.
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_07]: But it only plays ads for people who are not subscribed.
[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Correct.
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_04]: So if you use your Amazon, your free Amazon Prime sub,
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: God, I don't feel like I feel I'm age.
[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm so old. I feel like my age right now.
[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_04]: If you use your, you know, Amazon flybo flaves to coordinate the
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Riz factor on the skibbity, then you should be, you know, chill.
[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. Then you don't see any ads or whatever.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_04]: So I apologize.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_04]: And then, you know, they're not very long.
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh well.
[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And pro tip for anybody like me, if you see the price of the
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_02]: subscription and you're like, where's the free one?
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_02]: There's actually a little checkbox just above that that you have to check.
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_04]: It's real close by.
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a huge Prime sub or whatever.
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_04]: On another note, on a positive note,
[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_04]: this is now the coolest night that I've spent in the studio in like three months.
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It is 79.5 degrees in here.
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations to us everybody.
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_04]: It is almost chilly.
[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Round of applause for us because yeah, it's
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_04]: usually it's 83 and I can't work in that.
[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't do it.
[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I've refused it.
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm 46 years old.
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to do that anymore.
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not trying to sweat for my art, but I'll do it for my fart.
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Just very different.
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, on today's show we have the great RGH.
[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_04]: We have Mr. Ryan on from puny pod and he's going to be talking about
[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_04]: the shape of Wolverine's buttocks in the new movie, Deadpool movie.
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And we're going to go into great detail about those, how they were formed.
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Are they indestructible and all the different ways that he would like to destroy them?
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And the Xbox controllers based on them.
[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_04]: No, Ryan's talking about Disney cruises for some reason.
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_04]: For the last, I don't know, in the last eight months or whatever,
[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: you're like a Disney cruise expert.
[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I apparently have become that.
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I went on one and booked another like in two months.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Geez dude.
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Spoiler alert.
[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_07]: That must be good.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_04]: They suck and I'll tell you how to do it.
[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Terrible.
[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's what we're going to be talking about today is how to plan a Disney cruise,
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_04]: what to do because if anybody knows the tips and tricks on first time cruising
[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_04]: on the Disney cruise line, it's apparently Ryan.
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Are you going to be the next, are you going to be the next
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_04]: person in our community to go work for Conti years now?
[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Is the Disney cruise line.
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say the whole segment is just work with Conti years.
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Just call it a day.
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Go to concierge.com and book your career, have them do it for you.
[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_04]: And then we sit in silence for an hour and occasionally just like a clearing of the throat
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_04]: or something happens.
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_04]: And then we just that's it.
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I loudly drink water to an ASMR podcast.
[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Hell yeah, dude.
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm surprised those things lasted as long as they did.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_04]: And I guess they're still around, but they're not as hype anymore.
[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_07]: What?
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_07]: ASMR.
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, they're all over TikTok.
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Are they?
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw, I saw a TikTok.
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It was, I think it was a joke.
[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_04]: It was ASMR, but I think it was a joke.
[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_04]: It was someone had soaked their feet in water and like, you know, before trimming their nails,
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess.
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_04]: And so, you know how if you have like really short nails and you have like,
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_04]: we get out of the pool or whatever and like your skin kind of comes over the nail
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_04]: sometimes a little bit.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_04]: They had a little like a herb, like a crab and a little crab.
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_04]: What?
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Clipping the skin off of this person's toes, these little toes areinos.
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_04]: No.
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_04]: It was really good.
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_04]: And it was like ASMR.
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_04]: You can hear it.
[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And it was disgusting and it's in the bathroom.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_04]: She hasn't responded.
[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_07]: So that's awful.
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess you're not friends anymore.
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's not fun.
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That's why she left the show.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan, do come up a little bit.
[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Would you please?
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, in all series though, if you want to have somebody do your booking for you for
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Cruises or just, you know, the parks in general, that kind of thing, concierge.com,
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_04]: check them out.
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_04]: They will help you plan your vacation.
[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Though if you're going to Florida, they'll help you figure all that out.
[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Everything seems to be changing.
[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_04]: It seems like there's some new rule every six months on what you can do
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_04]: and how you can do it and when you can do it and with whom you can do it.
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_04]: And if you can read a book on it first or not, we don't actually really know anymore.
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's best to have somebody in your corner that can help you figure things out and be a
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_04]: little more clear than the company themselves.
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_04]: So go to concierge.com.
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_04]: They will work with you.
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_04]: They'll plan you a really good vacation.
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_04]: And the best part is you literally can be as involved as you want.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't have to really do anything.
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_04]: But if you want to be, if you want to be a helicopter customer, you can do that too.
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_04]: But if you want to be like me and you should be like,
[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_04]: just point me in a direction, brother, please.
[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_02]: To do it for you.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Truthfully on cruises, they are like primo for cruises because you have all the control over
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: the cruise still, but they also can jump on and you have to book things at midnight six months
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_02]: out and stuff.
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And they'll jump on and do that for you.
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's great.
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I've thought about doing that and, you know, like doing like working at concierge or whatever
[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_04]: or at least inquiring not that they would hire me.
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_04]: But that's what I don't want to do.
[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to set my alarm at midnight and get up and do that.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I'm not doing that.
[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Like kudos to people who do.
[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I couldn't, I can't.
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why we love the service.
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I know myself well enough to know that I wouldn't do that.
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I would go like, it's fine.
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_04]: They're not, they don't really want to eat there.
[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_04]: That's fine.
[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_04]: They don't care.
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_02]: It's filled up.
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's filled up.
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_04]: It's fine, man.
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_04]: It's midnight for God's sakes.
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I need to watch this episode of ABFAB again.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_07]: You know?
[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_07]: They're definitely not going to hire you now.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_07]: They know.
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_05]: We have a lot of people on the, on the West Coast that do get up really,
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_05]: really fricking early to do, to do the job when it comes to Florida reservations.
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_05]: I should mention right now that there is a promotion running for a couple more days.
[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_05]: Depending if you're listening tonight, you might be able to get it if you're interested.
[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_05]: Otherwise, I don't know when you're going to post this, Jason.
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_05]: It depends on how, uh,
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_05]: Shrug emoji.
[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_05]: How thoroughly we screw up the audio.
[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_05]: But book by the end of the day, July 31st.
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_05]: And if you're getting, um, at least two nights and two days or three days,
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_05]: uh, two nights, two days at Disneyland or three days at Walt Disney World ticket wise,
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_05]: you can get a $50 Disney gift card.
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that's barely a t-shirt to buy.
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_05]: That's good.
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_05]: That's, that's a good, that's good though.
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_05]: That's like, uh, that's like half a spirit drinks on the, on a cruise.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_05]: There you go.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_04]: See, there you go, man.
[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Good job.
[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Go for that.
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's great.
[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_04]: You can do that too.
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Everybody.
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, all right.
[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, Ryan, let's go baby.
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's go on a cruise.
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's go cruising.
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I wish I had, I wish I had cruise music for you, but I don't.
[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Toot toot.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Love boat theme.
[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Just a big pineapple right behind you upside down.
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, that's for after hours.
[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, yeah.
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a secret show.
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, yeah.
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_04]: How to get STDs on Disney Cruises.
[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh man.
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's uh, yeah, let's talk about cruise, uh, Disney cruise specifically.
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_02]: So I kind of the way I structured this was starting off with just making the
[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_02]: decision to go on a cruise.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_02]: We're, we're a lot of parks people here.
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, how does it compare to the parks?
[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_02]: What's it look like?
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_02]: That sort of thing.
[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_02]: So one thing that I noticed and what convinced me to go on our very first cruise was that
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: although the price range is varied everywhere from like a windowless cell on a boat,
[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_02]: that doesn't cost you very much up to like really great multi room deals.
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Your average ocean view room, so you get a window, you can look out and see where you are.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: That, that room will run you about the same or in some cases less than a good day in the parks,
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_02]: including your hotel, including your food, including everything.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Huh.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_04]: That's an interesting way to look at it.
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And I will say like, I don't know how they are on Disney cruises, but the rooms that Bev and I had
[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_04]: on our cruise that we went to a couple years ago.
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm always going to refer back to that because it's the only, you know,
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_04]: interesting work vacation I've ever been to is we had a window in our cell
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_04]: and it was half covered by the lifeboat.
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_04]: So you look at the window and it's just the bottom of the lifeboat or whatever.
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_04]: It's, you can kind of see up, but not really, but it's a window room.
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_04]: And you know the lifeboats are there.
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It tends to go the other way.
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_02]: If you have any obstruct, there's actually some, if you get really deep into Disney cruise planning,
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_02]: you can find these like secret rooms that are, they're sold as inside rooms.
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So the ones without a view, but they actually have a view.
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Huh.
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_02]: But how does it, okay.
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Why?
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Because it puts out onto lifeboats.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah.
[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_04]: So I can tell you, those aren't worth it.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't do that one.
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Those are bad.
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, those weren't good.
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Those are not fun.
[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, like I say, ocean view room, it's running you about the same as your hotel,
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_02]: your food and your day in the parks all added together per person.
[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So what is included in that price is most of your food.
[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You could actually include all your food if you wanted to.
[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_02]: If you want to be a fancy boy, you can go to the fancy food,
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_02]: but other than the fancy food, you have a buffet that's open for lunch and breakfast
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_02]: that's actually really, really good.
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It's, I would say like, it's not like crappy golden corral buffet, but it's,
[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like an elevated buffet that's available to you for breakfast and lunch.
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_02]: You also have dining rooms available to you for breakfast and lunch where you can sit down
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and have a meal.
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_04]: How about this?
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Compare it to the average hotel buffet in Anaheim.
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I would imagine it's on par.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Like the free breakfast hotel.
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, free breakfast hotel.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, free breakfast way above.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Like a, yeah.
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Like far away.
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So like not part of eggs, like actual eggs.
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, actual eggs.
[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking like eggs, Benny.
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Different, uh, Benny's every day on the lunch buffet.
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You've got fresh seafood like crab claws and.
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_04]: The captain's off the stern.
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I swore, I'm sorry.
[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Just like, you know, pulling in the crab pots.
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll be right there.
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I got to catch lunch for the buffet.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean on the buffet you've got, so you've got like an international section
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_02]: because they have a lot of international travelers that usually cycles through like
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_02]: some sort of Indian food, some sort of Chinese food.
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_02]: What's the, okay.
[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_04]: You can't, no, I'm, I'm stopped.
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm interrupting the whole time.
[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_04]: No, go for it.
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Indian food.
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Because the Indian food and the Chinese food that most people in America are, are
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_04]: subjected to isn't very good or it's kind of like blah.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_04]: What, what, what is, I don't know how your culinary experiences range, but you know,
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_04]: out here on the West coast we're, we're refined.
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So please, okay.
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Is it, is it, is it good?
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you have that?
[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I'm interested in those, those.
[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I would say flavors.
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_04]: The level of, the level of quality because if you're gonna,
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_04]: if you're going to specify like we're rotating country of origin food,
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_04]: you would imagine it, it actually has some sort of kick.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_02]: So I would say flavors wise, quality wise, I would put it at probably a C plus to a B.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So how many, how many, how many Bob Chapex out of 10?
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's call it seven Bob Chapex out of 10.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_04]: That's pretty good man.
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So not too shabby.
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Two curries basically.
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_02]: There, there's, there's some kick, a little bit of kick.
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not, it's Disney kick, right?
[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's not, you know, you're not going to burn your nose hairs off or anything.
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I would say the variety of food is what actually surprised me.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they had kanji every morning, which I have never seen on an American buffet ever.
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Like Japanese writing?
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_02]: No, like the rice pudding, the, that yeah.
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You keep that dude.
[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I find it super good, but rice porridge, rice porridge.
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, from like the Indian Indian style dessert?
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Like the breakfast, almost like grits, but with rice.
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_02]: So lots of offerings there and also really approachable offerings too.
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You've got like your chicken fingers and your mac and cheese and that sort of stuff.
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And I will say chicken fingers on Disney cruise line are another level.
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Everywhere you go, they talk about it and it is absolutely true.
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_02]: They are some of the best chicken fingers I've had in my life and I enjoy myself a chicken finger.
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Why?
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, why do you like chicken?
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm kidding.
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Why?
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_04]: What's what's the what's the what's the hype?
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like crispy on the outside without being dry on the inside.
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And like you don't have like to be a spectacular chicken finger,
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_02]: you don't have to be that fancy, right?
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And so it's just good.
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_02]: They're just really good but that's available to you in the buffet.
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I mentioned, you also have dining rooms where you can sit down if you want to kind of
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_02]: take a slower pace.
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It's usually less busy in the dining rooms for lunch and breakfast.
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And then on deck all throughout the day, you have quick service places you can walk up to.
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You have a pizza place on every ship.
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That's usually like theme park pizza.
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It's okay.
[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, kind of okay.
[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It's there.
[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It's also usually the one that's open the latest.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So when you're drunk, you can get that one.
[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Chicken tenders are always available on deck.
[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So you can go get that.
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_02]: There's usually kind of burgers and dogs on the wish.
[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_02]: There's actually a barbecue restaurant that has pretty good barbecue.
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't.
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I imagine they have to smoke it and then bring it on or something.
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't imagine that it is cooked on the ship.
[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I would imagine you're right.
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_04]: It's probably like freeze packed or something like that.
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's gotta be.
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Like smoked and then frozen, you know, vacuum packed and then frozen and then you're reheated
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_04]: or whatever.
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_05]: That's probably most of it.
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_05]: The food that is.
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I know.
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_04]: But I think that there's something and I don't know if it's just the lore or the appeal
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_04]: or the sort of like cultural implications of a barbecue restaurant.
[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_04]: But authenticity is like the point.
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_04]: So sometimes you go like, oh, this was smoked off, you know, on shore two weeks ago, but
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_04]: freeze packed or whatever.
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Now I don't want to eat it even though it tastes perfectly fine.
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It's just something.
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_04]: There's something about that.
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Like there was a barbecue joint that moved into the little shopping center at the old house
[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_04]: that we had and they literally would take like it.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_04]: You can see it was like preformed meat.
[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It was like pre-sliced.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_04]: So it was like from the U.S. foods or whatever.
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_04]: And you can see like the electric knife marks in the thing and it was like the meat was too smooth
[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_04]: and they just like put it into like a smoke sauce and go, here's the brisket.
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, brisket doesn't look like strips.
[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_04]: This is not it.
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_04]: They are calling it a barbecue.
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: The barbecue is fresh on there.
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's probably frozen, warmed up and then but they do cut them fresh, which is nice.
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_04]: And I guess my point is, you know, when you're on a cruise line and you use the word barbecue,
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_04]: instantly you go like, ah, it better be authentic barbecue or whatever.
[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_04]: But I feel like it is maybe you get this impression too.
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Is it where you have to sort of set aside your normal landlubber standards
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_04]: and kind of realize everything in context of like, look, bro,
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_04]: you're in the middle of the friggin ocean.
[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_04]: What are you going to get?
[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_04]: A I'm swearing too much dude.
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Because you're on Twitch.
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_04]: You're like, you're forgetting that we're doing a show.
[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I there's some of that.
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_02]: There's some of the mindset of like, if I was paying 20 bucks a pound for this, this would suck.
[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm paying nothing for this.
[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So or I already paid for this, I guess is the, you know, more cynical way to say that.
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, you know, it's good.
[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_02]: It was not what I went back to on my cruise.
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We were on the cruise for like four days and I ate the barbecue once and it was good.
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Like the ribs were, ribs were tasty.
[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_02]: The brisket was more like a pastrami, which was kind of weird to me.
[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_07]: But okay, but to be fair, to beef air, get it guys.
[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, hey.
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Beef.
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_07]: If you were to get barbecue at say Disney World or Disneyland, it would be the same.
[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_07]: You're not going to get true authentic Southern barbecue either.
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Like I feel like just like it's the same standard that it's theme park standard,
[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_07]: but it sounds like even it's a little bit higher.
[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I would say it's like a notch higher than theme park.
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a good way to put it.
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Which seems weird to me.
[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I would think it'd be a notch lower.
[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Really?
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Cruises are known for their food.
[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, just because they've got a captive audience doesn't mean that you're
[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_05]: going to have to eat garbage.
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, but I guess it's because of the facilities, like the logistics of having
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_04]: good tasting barbecue on a cruise ship would be much more difficult.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I would imagine just because you can't have the open flame and everything.
[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right.
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right.
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So yeah.
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_04]: And I mean that's very interesting to me.
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why for sure on the other ships.
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_02]: You do have a stand that does like little sandwiches and salads and wraps, which
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_02]: that's not on the wish.
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't have that kind of fresh on the on the deck on specifically the Disney magic.
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And I wrote this one specifically down for you, Jason.
[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_02]: They have a Euro stand.
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_07]: I'd be there all day.
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's got a what?
[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_02]: What did you say?
[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_02]: It's included.
[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's in your price.
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_02]: You can eat all the euros you want.
[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Euros and shawarma.
[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Dog.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I think I would just alternate between the two constantly.
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Yum.
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_04]: There's no reason to get because I'll tell you what, the perfect food is a burrito
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_04]: wrap kind of thing.
[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_04]: That's the perfect food.
[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Then you have a sandwich that's lower tier and then everything else.
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And imagine like sitting in the like fresh salt ocean air just enjoying your Euro.
[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Creamo.
[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Do mean you're just back in the motherland at that point.
[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Is that one of the...
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if you, well, you probably have a whole thing about what's available
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_05]: like all day long because they've got food 24 seven, right?
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So the quick serve, all the things that I just listed that are the quick serve,
[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_02]: that's available most of the day.
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_02]: It's open through dinner.
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_02]: They close varying times throughout the night.
[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I think the latest that I saw anything open was midnight.
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's when everything kind of shuts down, but they do open after breakfast.
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So they're not open early, early in the morning, but they open up a little bit later.
[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And then all the ships also, and they're kind of known for this,
[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_02]: they have soft serve ice cream.
[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So on all the older ships, it's serve yourself.
[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You grab a cone, get yourself some soft serve ice cream on the wish and then beyond,
[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_02]: because those were built or the wish was built during COVID,
[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_02]: they set the service back and a cast member serves you your set.
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_07]: And it's ice cream.
[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_07]: It's not frozen yogurt.
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Correct.
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_07]: It's not frozen yogurt.
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_07]: That is so dangerous.
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_02]: It's, yeah.
[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like they vary their flavors too.
[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And so there's always one that's your OG chocolate and vanilla,
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_02]: but they'll put in a banana and they'll put banana in a machine with chocolate
[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_02]: so you can get a banana chocolate swirl real good.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_02]: They have like mango, they have strawberry that kind of floats in and out.
[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe not always the best, but you know what?
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It's free.
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Might not be the best.
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_04]: You eat it once and then don't ever do it again,
[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: but the vanilla and chocolate are top tier, right?
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_02]: You walk up, you get a cone on a hot day.
[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing beats that.
[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_07]: This has nothing to do with anything,
[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_07]: but I worked at a little snack stand one summer right after college
[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_07]: and we sold not only soft serve, but French fries.
[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_04]: That's French fries.
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_07]: French fries and soft serve.
[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_07]: And it was available to me the entire shift all summer.
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_07]: And I think I gained like 25 pounds because it's like just those,
[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_07]: the combination of those two things.
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_07]: And then I thought I was doing really good
[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_07]: because I'd always have a diet coke.
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_04]: That totally balances it out.
[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, I have a large pizza and a diet coke.
[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_07]: That would be really hard for me.
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's all, that's all available to you all day, right?
[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_02]: At night, they do what's called rotational dining for dinner.
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is a step above most of the table service restaurants in the park.
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_02]: They say that it's fine dining.
[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_02]: That definition is a little bit loose in some of the dining rooms.
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It's fine, but dining is fine.
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's fine dining.
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But it is good.
[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It is very good food.
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It would be, like I say, in the parks, you're talking a character meal or a place you would
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_02]: go and sit down and eat.
[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's, you can get as much of anything that you want.
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I literally sat down every night and I ordered one of every appetizer.
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That was my first order every night.
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_02]: You can order one of everything.
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_02]: They probably will frown upon it if you don't eat it.
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_02]: But, and you can also order off of the menus.
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a little tip for people.
[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You can order off of the menus from the other restaurants.
[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you liked something the night before, you're like,
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_02]: hey, bring me that back.
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_02]: They'll do it.
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh wow.
[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Cool.
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that I could do that.
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that I could bring myself to order off menu.
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Because I just, I put myself in the position of the server going,
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_04]: bro, I kind of got a lot of tables.
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, come on, man.
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is something, I don't think I mentioned this anywhere else here.
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_02]: The Disney difference, they taught, that's always been a thing, right?
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_02]: The Disney difference.
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Is the price.
[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It's alive on the cruise ships.
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It is alive and well on the cruise ships,
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_02]: and particularly with your dining staff.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So your waiters stay with you every night
[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_02]: and also serve you breakfast.
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_02]: In your cabin.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_02]: On the day you get off the ship.
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_04]: They don't sleep with you in your cabin, right?
[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_05]: you can ask.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_05]: There's nothing creepy about it.
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_04]: No, right.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_04]: They hang a hammock, make sure that you're tucked in.
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Read your stories.
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_04]: So you get the same servers the entire trip.
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You get the same servers the entire time.
[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_02]: They'll learn your drink orders.
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_02]: They learned like we took Ted on our first cruise.
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_02]: They learned that he has milk with every meal.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_02]: So they would bring out the milk.
[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_02]: That's cool.
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_02]: They got used to my like every appetizer thing
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and they would just bring it out.
[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_04]: They saw you coming on my way.
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh God, here it comes.
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: But Lisa is allergic to mushrooms
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_02]: and this is the one time I've ever seen that like not questioned.
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Even at even at like Disney World Disneyland,
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_02]: they'll usually question that like,
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_02]: is it you just don't like it or is it an allergy?
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: On the cruise, they were like,
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_02]: cool, this may be touched a mushroom.
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So don't do it or we'll make it fresh or whatever.
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So I would say that Disney difference is so
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_02]: it comes through so clearly,
[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: especially in those dining rooms on the cruise.
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_02]: The dining rooms usually are kind of set up
[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_02]: where two are themed, one is not.
[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_02]: One of them has a or one of them is like lightly themed,
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess I would say.
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_02]: So one lightly themed one kind of character experience
[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and then one, I would say just story experience,
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess is the best way to call it.
[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So for example, on The Wish,
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_02]: your three restaurants that you get are 1923,
[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: which is themed to Golden Age of Hollywood.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's got a bunch of,
[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_02]: they actually pulled a bunch of stuff from the archives
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_02]: and made replicas of it in some cases,
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_02]: used like actual stuff from the archives
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's like on display in the restaurant.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And it feels like a 1920s steakhouse.
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_02]: They have it divvied up really well and it's super cool.
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_02]: We actually sat in a corner or like in a table that had
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Mary Blair, Alice in Wonderland drawings on display all around it,
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_02]: which was awesome to see.
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_02]: That's nice. That's cool.
[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_02]: On The Wish, your other two are Marvel,
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: which of course I was all about.
[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a story, it's like a screen driven story.
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: There's screens all around the room that drive the story
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_02]: and Spider-Man comes in at the end and says hello to everybody.
[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Like for real or like on the screen?
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he come, no, they have a character come through.
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: They're a character, yeah.
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And he stops at every table and takes a picture.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_02]: How big is the dining room?
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a big dining room.
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And on The Wish, they have them split up into,
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_02]: for 1923 and Marvel,
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_02]: they kind of have it split into two different dining rooms
[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_02]: just with the way the walls are built and everything.
[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the big dining room is Frozen.
[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_02]: They do a Frozen show, it's super cute.
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Characters come around.
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_02]: There's an animatronic Olaf that's part of the show.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit self aware for Let It Go.
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: They have Kristoff and Oaken seeing it instead of Elsa.
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I would listen to that.
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_07]: But Frozen is self aware, that's why I actually do like it.
[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Is it self aware?
[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Does it really know?
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_04]: The second one is self aware for sure.
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_07]: The second one's more so, but the first one too.
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_07]: We can argue that at another time.
[00:29:47] Sure.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so it's a character dining with a story.
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_02]: The story is you're at Anna and Kristoff's engagement party.
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, great.
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you have to bring them a gift?
[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_02]: They theme the menus to everything too.
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Frozen is all very Nordic food.
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_02]: The Marvel show was all themed to different places.
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Marvel stuff takes place.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So African inspired dishes from Wakanda and old school American stuff for like
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Captain America types things.
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Some Southeast Asian influence on with like Shang-Chi and that sort of stuff.
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And then 1923 was just, it's supposed to be California cuisine.
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_02]: They throw a California name on the front of some decent steakhouse food.
[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_02]: So you do have three dining and you can chew, you get one of two seatings.
[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_02]: You either eat at 530 or 815.
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you get entertainment on the backside of that.
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you eat early, you get Broadway style show after dinner.
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: If you eat late, you get it before dinner.
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's all included.
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Your soft drinks are all included as long as you're pouring them from a fountain.
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: All included at your price.
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously your room, one of the things Disney is known for is their split bathrooms.
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So your toilet is in a room with a sink.
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And then your bathtub is in its own room also with a sink,
[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_02]: which is really nice for like getting ready and stuff.
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_02]: You have a bathtub?
[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Not a shower.
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_02]: A bathtub with a shower.
[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_02]: The tub is small, but we could wash, like we wash Ted in it.
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I think that's probably why.
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like you just put them in a basket and lower them down in the water in the ocean.
[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, pull them back in.
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Perfect.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Anything we catch you, we eat.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_04]: That's how we save money on the Disney cruise.
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_04]: We lower our child in his bait.
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So also included in that is all.
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so that's your room.
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Your room is they're small.
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_02]: They're not large rooms.
[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_02]: They're small rooms.
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's the thing.
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_04]: It's I would get into that room and I would look at the bathtub and I go,
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I would rather have this space to walk around it.
[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_02]: That's fair.
[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't need a bathtub.
[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Why do we have a bathroom?
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_04]: But I guess it's for kids.
[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think, you know, we were in what was called a deluxe family ocean view room,
[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_02]: which that's a lot of word salad for the specific room.
[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_02]: But it comfortably had.
[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_02]: We could have comfortably had a family of four in there.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_02]: There's like a queen ish.
[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a larger than queen size bed and then essentially a fulled out couch
[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and a bunk that comes down over the fulled out couch.
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like the word comfortably is doing a lot of work in that sentence.
[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're not in the room all that often, truthfully, because you're.
[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You're out doing stuff.
[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're out doing stuff.
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And so you're not in the room that often.
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You're really only sleep in there.
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's it's pretty comfortable and they make the best out of the storage too.
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_02]: There's tons of closets.
[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_02]: They lifted the bed extra so that you could shove your stuff under the bed.
[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_02]: All of the walls are magnetic so you can go buy magnetic clips.
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what we did is we bought magnetic clips and stuck them to the wall
[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and just hung stuff up.
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_02]: What?
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, wait, what?
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_04]: That's awesome.
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_04]: The walls are magnetic.
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Like the metal, the painted metal.
[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they're metal.
[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_04]: So weird.
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you can bring like magnetic hooks, hang them up and hang up your hat or whatever,
[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_02]: hang up backpacks, all that kind of stuff.
[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_02]: It sounds cold.
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're in you're in the Caribbean for the most.
[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I guess that's true.
[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I would guess an Alaskan cruise might get cold.
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Gotcha.
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but.
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I doubt it.
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_04]: You're in still in a room.
[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_04]: That's odd to me.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_05]: I've never heard of that.
[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Right.
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_05]: All right.
[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, go ahead real quick.
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Well, maybe not real quick.
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_05]: We'll see.
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Are you are you planning on talking about some of the weird cultural stuff like the
[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_05]: cruisey things?
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll get that a little bit later.
[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_05]: We'll just save that then.
[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll save that because there is some cool cultural stuff, not just upside down
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_02]: pineapples, but just.
[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Just weird enough.
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so you so I will say for Disney cruise specifically, the two oldest ships,
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_02]: so the magic and the wonder, and then the newest line of ships, the wish, treasure,
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_02]: and soon to be destiny.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Those have the metal walls, the two middle, the fantasy, and I have it right in front of
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_02]: me dream do not have the metal walls.
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a that's a pro tip for everybody.
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I know I dropped it like nonchalantly, but those magnetic walls,
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_02]: primo for like organizational type stuff because you can't take over the door
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_02]: hangers.
[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't use like an over the door hanger.
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Disney will confiscate that for scratching up the door.
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That's such a weird like selling point to hey, we have magnetic walls.
[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Great.
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's less of a selling point and more of something that people discovered.
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess.
[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_07]: Just like my question.
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Did they tell you ahead of time that they were there were magnetic walls or
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_07]: did you just know from your own research?
[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Disney did not.
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_07]: OK.
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Concey ears might.
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Lindsay might have included that in some of what she told us.
[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And then I'll talk about the Facebook groups for cruises later.
[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's really where where we found out about that.
[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, cool.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_02]: But outside of all that staying on the topic of what's included right
[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_02]: tons of entertainment.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_02]: You cannot be bored on a Disney cruise.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_02]: There are character meet and greets.
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_02]: We met Spider-Man.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_02]: We met Black Panther.
[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_02]: We met the fab five.
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_02]: We met Ray and Chewbacca.
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_02]: There's trivia going on all the time.
[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I was was one question off of winning Marvel trivia on our cruise.
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_02]: What was the question you got wrong?
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It was a shame you for what city is what city our vision and Scarlet Witch
[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_02]: hiding out in prior to their involvement.
[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's easy.
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_05]: It's like some city New Jersey or something right now.
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_05]: They're in like Amsterdam or it's Stockholm.
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_05]: If I remember correctly.
[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_05]: OK, I should remember that.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, there you go.
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So so lots of stuff.
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Kids the kids clubs are second to none, which you expect with Disney, right?
[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm talking on the wish.
[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to go hang out in the kids club like they had the
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Imagineering Bay for for kids and I took pictures of all this stuff.
[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_02]: There is all this like all the models that they used to build old
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_02]: rides and stuff are in this Bay for the kids to look at.
[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_02]: They also have the ride simulators like they have at Imagineering,
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_02]: the big like rooms that simulate the ride.
[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh gosh.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's me.
[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Ted and I like we did because Ted's too young for the kids club,
[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_02]: but we did the open house and I built like a big Thunder Mountain
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_02]: and I sat down in the simulator and got to experience that.
[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_02]: It was super cool.
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_04]: That's nice.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_04]: That's awesome.
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they also run first run movies on all the ships so you
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_02]: can watch all throughout the day.
[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_02]: It's playing all day if you want to take a couple hours and
[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_02]: watch, you know, first run movies like in your cabin or
[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_02]: is there like a theater going on theater?
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_07]: What's a first run movie?
[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Like what movie that's run first?
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_02]: What are it?
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_02]: What's in theaters right now?
[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh cool.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_05]: And that's is that an indoor theater versus the one that
[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_05]: they play out by the pool.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So there is an indoor theater and actually during our cruise,
[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_02]: War of the Planet of the Apes premiered and they put that in
[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_02]: the big Broadway theater one that night that it premiered.
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_02]: They played it there and then they also played it in both
[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_02]: of the movie theaters on the boat.
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh wow.
[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It was super cool.
[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Super, super cool.
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm really looking forward to my next cruise should be
[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_02]: well Captain America is still in theaters and my room is just
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_02]: down the hall from the movie theater.
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So God, you're going to be there all the time.
[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't even know Captain America was getting a new movie.
[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I didn't know that.
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's Sam Wilson, Captain America.
[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know who that is.
[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Falcon.
[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I bear that.
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I've been watching the boys lately again.
[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm getting him confused with the A train.
[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Which I'm sure there's like some sort of,
[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, art direction taken from the Marvel, you know,
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_04]: costumes because they look very marvelish.
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_04]: With like the carbon fiber padding or whatever.
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_07]: And now when I hear Captain America, I just think of
[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Homelander, which is not good.
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so and then Eric mentioned it.
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_02]: They do play Disney movies all day on the like out by the pool
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_02]: on this big giant screen.
[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_02]: So you can chill in the pool, watch a Disney movie.
[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That goes all the way till like midnight as well.
[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Super, super cool.
[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's all included in your price.
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So when I say like a day in the parks plus your hotel
[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_02]: plus your food is all covered by that.
[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_02]: So when I say like a good day in the parks is equal to a
[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_02]: cruise, that's, you know, it really is truly equivalent.
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And when I say a good trip to the parks,
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to be specific, right?
[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Because somebody out there is probably like
[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_02]: day in the parks is the hotel's six and,
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, whatever.
[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking like an on property stay at Disney.
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Plus, you know, and then at Disney World,
[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_02]: you're looking at, you know, a moderate or an upper
[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_02]: moderate resort probably plus park ticket and all that stuff.
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So it was like 200 bucks a day, you think?
[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe something like that?
[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It depends on your itinerary.
[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_02]: It depends on your your stuff for a basic itinerary.
[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I think something like 700 bucks a day per person.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a lot.
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a lot.
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It is a lot.
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It is a lot.
[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, you look at like the cheapest on property
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_02]: at Disneyland and you're paying 500 bucks that night.
[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And you're paying another 200 bucks for your park tickets
[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and how much more food, you know, that sort of thing.
[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, it's excellent, excellent, excellent.
[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all what's included, right?
[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not talking about the extras right now,
[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_02]: but that's all what's included.
[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_02]: The other thing, because the kind of subject to this
[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_02]: is how do I choose to go on a cruise?
[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people get nervous about seasickness.
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Lisa, my wife gets seasick on smaller boats.
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_02]: She experienced it for one night.
[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_02]: She bought one of those relief band things that shocks your wrist
[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and keeps you from being sick.
[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Shocks your wrist.
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's got like these little like electronic pulses
[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_02]: that hit a nerve in your wrist and is supposed to help with nausea.
[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_02]: She did that for one night.
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_02]: She didn't wear it again.
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And she felt fine.
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Those boats are so big and so technologically advanced.
[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Once you're moving off that first night,
[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_02]: you don't ever feel it again.
[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. I was nervous about that too.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_04]: And I read up a little bit about seasickness
[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_04]: and I read about the seasickness patches.
[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_04]: And specifically I was warned off of them
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_04]: because people were, they tended to,
[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_04]: once they removed them when the cruise was over,
[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_04]: all that sickness hit them.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_04]: And they felt awful afterwards, which I thought was weird.
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_04]: It felt like you were delaying the reaction.
[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Interesting.
[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_04]: But what I did is you can get these like little,
[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_04]: they're like sweat bands for lack of a better term
[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're tight.
[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they have a little button.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.
[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Leave a little button or whatever that goes in the inside of your wrist.
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_04]: And it pokes and it just, it applies pressure the whole time.
[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_04]: And I wore, I felt great.
[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, why are really neat?
[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Is it doing anything?
[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's see.
[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's see.
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_04]: So I took them off for like a couple hours
[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_04]: and I started not feeling good.
[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like, okay, I'm going to put them back on
[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_04]: and it was gone.
[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_04]: So whether or not it was, you know, a placebo
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_04]: or it actually worked, I don't care.
[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I felt fine.
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like, okay, this is good.
[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to be seasick on the beer cruise, please.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_04]: That's fair.
[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to be beer sick on a sea cruise.
[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_02]: So though, so that's, how do you make your decision?
[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Can I afford it?
[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it going to be comfortable?
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_02]: The answer is yes, it's going to be comfortable.
[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And can you afford it?
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_02]: It's sort of like looking at a park, right?
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And there are varying levels.
[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_02]: You can definitely do the inside rooms and be comfortable,
[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_02]: enjoy your stay, all that kind of stuff.
[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's actually more, what shocked me
[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_02]: was how affordable it was.
[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Now if you're comparing cruise to Disney cruise,
[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_02]: like something like a Carnival or something like that,
[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_02]: there is a sticker shock there
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_02]: because Carnival Cruises, you're going to get off
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_02]: for like 500 bucks for a cruise per person
[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_02]: versus Disney you're looking at, you know,
[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_02]: that same cruise itinerary running you double or triple per person,
[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_02]: which that is a shock.
[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But then when you think about all the things that are included,
[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_02]: it starts to line up, right?
[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_02]: You start, it starts to make sense.
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_02]: So now that you've chosen,
[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_02]: hey, I'm going to go on a cruise, I can afford it.
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Also one last thing before I move off of affordability,
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_02]: because I just noticed this in my notes,
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_02]: is you only have to put a deposit of about 10% to 20% down
[00:43:17] [SPEAKER_02]: when you book and then I think it's three months
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_02]: before your cruise the rest is due.
[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_02]: That's really helpful for budgeting kind of stuff.
[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you're looking at it and you're like,
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't pay that much right now,
[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_02]: just know that that is something that I didn't know existed
[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_02]: until I really started to look in earnest.
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. Cool. Interesting. I love earnest.
[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's take a quick break.
[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Cool. Let's do it.
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_04]: All right. Let's take a break.
[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll be right back here.
[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to talk a little bit more with RGH
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_04]: about booking Disney Cruises,
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_04]: not only what else is included in Disney cruise,
[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_04]: but how you go about it in the first place
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_04]: and maybe a little bit of a little bit clues
[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_04]: into some research and maybe what you guys can do
[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_04]: to make your first cruise the best cruise possible.
[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_01]: All right. Hang on everybody.
[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_01]: It's your double. You're right back.
[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Eugh.
[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Back to years up where the opinions never stop.
[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Ever.
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_04]: All right. Thanks for hanging on everybody
[00:44:41] [SPEAKER_04]: with the great Twitch experiment.
[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Hopefully it's going well for everyone.
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I know Mr. P loves it.
[00:44:45] [SPEAKER_04]: The chat is popping off.
[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_04]: It's mainly Mr. P. You're just reacting to himself.
[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_04]: But Rob from Bantha Milk is on,
[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_04]: which is nice to see.
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And he says, ha ha, the four of you
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_04]: have four different levels of facial hair.
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Which I suppose he's right.
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_04]: That is true.
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_04]: And then I looked at everyone's hair
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_04]: and then I realized that Eric has a butcher
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_04]: from the boys thing going on.
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, totally.
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, Huey.
[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I see it.
[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Homely headed and killed my wife
[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and took me bloody son.
[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_05]: I haven't watched in a while.
[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if that's true.
[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. Well, you it is true.
[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_04]: You said that you stopped watching after season two.
[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. I just never got back into it
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_05]: when season three came out.
[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, you should because I'm forcing Taryn to watch it
[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_04]: and we just watched the season opener for season three.
[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. Yeah. That's good, dude.
[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I bet it's great.
[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I need to get on that train.
[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I have not started it yet.
[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, God.
[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you haven't started the boys, bro.
[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I have the whole series in comics.
[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So good, dude.
[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I collected it back then.
[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_07]: That show is just that should not be on TV.
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_07]: They know it should not be in anyone's brain
[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_07]: to have made it to paper
[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_07]: to have made it onto a television show.
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's true.
[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_04]: All right. Anyway, Ryan,
[00:46:02] [SPEAKER_04]: what are we talking about now? Sorry.
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. So talking about, you know, okay, cool.
[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I know I can go on a cruise.
[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Now what's the next step?
[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Right. How do I choose?
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_02]: There's so many options out there.
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_02]: You go to Disney's website and you see all the itineraries,
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: all the ships, all the everything, right?
[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's super overwhelming.
[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't necessarily know the differences.
[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't know what you're getting into.
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm here to help.
[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I kind of broke this down
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: into three different methods of choosing.
[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they're all very valid.
[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And they also all kind of just help build off of it, right?
[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_02]: So first method is pick a ship that has stuff you like, right?
[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Take a look at the currently four or five ships,
[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_02]: soon to be six ships,
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and choose the one that has something you like.
[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And here to help you with that is, hey, it's me.
[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So the magic and wonder are the two oldest ships in the fleet.
[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_02]: They were floated in 1999 is when they set sail.
[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_02]: They are very old school, lots of like dark woods,
[00:47:13] [SPEAKER_02]: very old school crews feeling.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_02]: When are we going to get the Iger as a ship?
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like Captain Iger is already represented on Castaway Key.
[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So I feel like we're already we're there.
[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_04]: We're almost there.
[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Once he leaves, we're going to get a frigging cruise ship named the Iger.
[00:47:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I just I can I can feel it.
[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, the magic and wonder they're much smaller than any of the other ships.
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_02]: There are only about 2000 passengers.
[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_02]: So these are much smaller ships.
[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_02]: The wonder has some princess in the frog theming in it.
[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So one of the restaurants is Princess and the Frog theme.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I wonder why?
[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_02]: It's got a princess in the frog lounge as well.
[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So a bar that's New Orleans themed, I think actually when Terrence was on,
[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this was the boat that he was on.
[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And he talked a little bit about that lounge and how it felt super well themed.
[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_02]: They just rethemed that I think just pre covid is when they took that from being kind of a
[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_02]: hotel lobby bar to being a a Tiana bar.
[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, and so I tell you what covid was the best thing that could have ever happened to the
[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_04]: princess and the frog.
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
[00:48:29] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, it opened up the world.
[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It really did.
[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It did.
[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the magic, which is the oldest ship in the fleet.
[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_02]: It has a soul themed bar.
[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's right.
[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_04]: That movie.
[00:48:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I haven't seen it though.
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_02]: The jazz bar that he performs in.
[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the the like character show dinner there is tangled.
[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, cute.
[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_02]: OK.
[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So so if that's you know, if you're a tangled fan, maybe the the magic is on your itinerary or if
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_02]: you're a princess and the frog fan, maybe the wonder is something that's coming up for you.
[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Are they let me ask a question, Ryan.
[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Are they and you might not know this.
[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_04]: So if you don't, I will harass you.
[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Are they are the shows that you get like the tangled show or whatever,
[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_04]: are they sort of akin to the stuff that you would find in the parks
[00:49:17] [SPEAKER_04]: or are they totally different?
[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So so your dining show, I'm trying to think if there's anywhere in the parks that has
[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_02]: like dinner and a show like that because most of the character dining in the parks is like
[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_02]: you're eating and somebody comes around and bothers you while you're eating.
[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, which is super cool.
[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I have ketchup all over my face.
[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Let me get a pic.
[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Goofy.
[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So so yeah, the those shows with your dinner, it's it's the greatest hits of the movie.
[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?
[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the it's the greatest hit songs from the movie they sing.
[00:49:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And there's usually some sort of dance number like the cruise I was on.
[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It was Frozen was the show Frozen was the dinner show and they did like it's performed in the
[00:50:05] [SPEAKER_02]: round and the characters came out and walked through the aisle and formed a conga line for
[00:50:10] [SPEAKER_02]: one of the songs or something.
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess let me clarify.
[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess what I want to sort of put a point on is even if you're not like a take a look,
[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_04]: you say like a tangled fan or whatever, right?
[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_04]: The entertainment is different than you would find in the parks.
[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_04]: So you could still go on if you want to go if you just want to see a cool show that you
[00:50:30] [SPEAKER_04]: won't see anywhere else.
[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And you're eating themed food with it too, like which is kind of cool, right?
[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it immerses you in the experience a little bit more or whatever.
[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_02]: The entertainment shows that are like after dinner that are separate from dinner,
[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_02]: which is in a Broadway style theater and all that.
[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Those are the shows that were in the Hyperion those kind of shows.
[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So you know, good shows.
[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Moving on to the next class of ships, the fantasy and dream slightly larger about
[00:51:00] [SPEAKER_02]: 4,000 passengers.
[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Generally these tend to be the favorite for most longtime cruisers that I talked to.
[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So we actually talked to somebody who had been on 75 Disney cruises.
[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Holy cow.
[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh my goodness.
[00:51:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Dude, how?
[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_02]: There are like two day cruises that like go out to Catalina from from San Diego or something
[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_02]: like that.
[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I could imagine maybe there's some way to game the system a little bit there.
[00:51:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And your cruises do get cheaper as you go.
[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I was about to do the math.
[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm like 75.
[00:51:38] [SPEAKER_04]: You what are you blowing $100,000?
[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Something like that maybe more probably more.
[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, dude.
[00:51:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that would be a hundred.
[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_02]: A hundred grand would be a pretty safe bet, assuming that they stayed about average with
[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_02]: what their itineraries were and everything.
[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Most people kind of like the fantasy and the dream.
[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_02]: This is the middle class of ship.
[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_02]: They have a princess themed dining, but it's not really a show.
[00:52:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's more like the character dining in the parks.
[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_02]: They also have the animators palette.
[00:52:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'll talk about the animators palette a little bit later,
[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_02]: but animators palette is on the first four ships and it's kind of a special thing.
[00:52:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's a little different on fantasy and dream.
[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_02]: People tend to like it.
[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_02]: These first two classes, so the magic wonder and fantasy and dream
[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_02]: are not overly Disney themed.
[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_02]: You can walk around that ship and not see a Disney thing.
[00:52:34] [SPEAKER_02]: That's nice.
[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_02]: That would be great.
[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_07]: I disagree.
[00:52:38] [SPEAKER_07]: If I'm going to pay pretty much double the price that I would pay on a regular cruise,
[00:52:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I want all the Disney stuff because otherwise I'll just pay half price and go to the other cruise.
[00:52:48] [SPEAKER_04]: That's fair.
[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I would get that.
[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I would like a break from some of it sometimes.
[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I would like a safe space to go where I'm just in a normal area pretending I'm
[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_04]: a normal human in a normal universe.
[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_04]: And if I want to go see all the Disney stuff, then I can go,
[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_04]: you know what I want it to be?
[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I want it to be Mr. Dietz's den in Beetlejuice where he's like, just don't touch this room.
[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's it.
[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_04]: This is the room that I want to be normal.
[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Then I can go outside for the horror show and all the other weird stuff that you go on.
[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_04]: But here this is where I can relax and get away from nonsensical thing.
[00:53:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Rob's in the chat and he says there's our drink package on the Disney boats.
[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_02]: There is not.
[00:53:32] [SPEAKER_02]: So there's not an alcoholic drink package.
[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I mentioned, all your soft drinks as long as you're getting them from a tap included.
[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I also forgot to mention talking about soft drinks made me think of this 24 seven
[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_02]: room services included as well.
[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Soft drinks are not included on room service.
[00:53:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You have to pay for the soft drinks on the room service, which is interesting.
[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Kind of a pain or go upstairs and get yourself up four floors.
[00:53:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you got to do it.
[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Climb through the tubes.
[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But but yeah, your the room service 24 seven and you can get it's not on the menu,
[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_02]: but you can ask for Mickey premium bars at any dining including room service.
[00:54:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So you could get a Mickey premium bar like you get in the parks delivered.
[00:54:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And we did.
[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_02]: We did very intoxicatingly for a Mickey premium bar delivered to our room.
[00:54:28] [SPEAKER_02]: How much was it?
[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Free.
[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_04]: But you said you had to pay room service?
[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_07]: No, all the room services included.
[00:54:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Room service.
[00:54:35] [SPEAKER_04]: You said you had to pay for the except.
[00:54:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, OK.
[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_04]: God, what a confusing like.
[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_04]: She either do it or don't.
[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why I pay for drinks at the room service,
[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_04]: but you're carrying a bar down for free.
[00:54:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[00:54:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's weird.
[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_02]: But no, there are not.
[00:54:51] [SPEAKER_02]: There are not alcoholic drink packages that is a that's a Disney thing.
[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_02]: There are some ways to make your booze cheaper.
[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Actually, those of you watching live up behind me,
[00:55:00] [SPEAKER_02]: it's kind of hard to see in the blue light.
[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually have my beer mug from the Duzzi cruise.
[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_02]: If you buy the mug so you get I think it's four extra ounces of beer every pour
[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and by your sixth beer, your mug is free.
[00:55:14] [SPEAKER_02]: By at some point, you've had the equivalent of a free beer.
[00:55:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how the math works out.
[00:55:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:55:21] [SPEAKER_04]: See, me, I would be like those dudes in England for a camera where they
[00:55:25] [SPEAKER_04]: measure the foam on the top of the glass and be like,
[00:55:29] [SPEAKER_04]: why is this?
[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Why is this three times the amount of foam?
[00:55:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Scrape this off.
[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Give me a full pipe of beer because in England they don't we don't want to have your beer.
[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't want to have your beer.
[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And then now they do have head on the beer in on Disney cruises
[00:55:42] [SPEAKER_02]: because they have the little latte art machines in the bar
[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and they'll print things on top of your beer on your beer.
[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That's wild to me.
[00:55:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
[00:55:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Mr. P says that's beer math.
[00:55:53] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, instead of gold.
[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Perfect.
[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And you can also get.
[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_02]: So they have a drink of the day, which is five bucks,
[00:56:01] [SPEAKER_02]: premixed tropical drink typically like first day it's always a Mai Tai.
[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_02]: At some point it'll probably be a margarita of some sort, whatever.
[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_02]: You can get a cup for that that also gets you the extra pour
[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_02]: and works out about the same by the sixth one.
[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_02]: The cup is free at some point.
[00:56:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Your your drink is free.
[00:56:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[00:56:20] [SPEAKER_04]: So then at the end, then the seventh, you can just keep going with that one
[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you just you're getting extra beer.
[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:56:25] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Coming back to the ships, right?
[00:56:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So magic wonder fantasy dream old school cruising.
[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_02]: These are these are the things that kind of built these.
[00:56:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Those are the four ships that built Disney's cruise line.
[00:56:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Then we get to the wish and my own theory is that the wish is intentionally designed
[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_02]: to pull parks people onto the cruise line.
[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And the fantasy is doubling down on that through some of the theming they're using
[00:56:53] [SPEAKER_02]: like with the haunted mansion and that sort of stuff.
[00:56:56] [SPEAKER_02]: The wish fantasy and destiny are in our theming overload.
[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Like you can't walk around without seeing some something Disney themed, right?
[00:57:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything is Disney on these ships.
[00:57:10] [SPEAKER_02]: They are the largest but not by that much.
[00:57:14] [SPEAKER_02]: They're about the same size as the fantasy and dream.
[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_02]: They have 4100 passengers.
[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So about 100 more passengers than the fantasy and dream.
[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_02]: They're the newest.
[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_02]: They're the coolest.
[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_02]: They they have, like I say, all kinds of theming star wars.
[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_02]: They have the the hyperspace lounge, which is a really cool space.
[00:57:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Very themed out feels like you're on a luxury liner.
[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It's it's the closest thing to the star cruiser that is left in the company at this point.
[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a big screen behind the behind the bar where every seven minutes you jump into hyperspace
[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_02]: and then you jump to a different planet.
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Super cool, super highly themed.
[00:57:57] [SPEAKER_02]: That's where the $5,000 drink is that everybody talks about that gets you a ticket
[00:58:00] [SPEAKER_02]: to Skywalker Ranch and all that stuff.
[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I already mentioned the Marvel dining.
[00:58:05] [SPEAKER_02]: There's also the frozen dining on the fantasy.
[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_02]: They're going to replace frozen with a cocoa dining,
[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_02]: which should be really cool.
[00:58:15] [SPEAKER_02]: The only weird thing to me is like they're going to sail to Mexico with that ship
[00:58:19] [SPEAKER_02]: and have a Mexican restaurant on it, which feels strange to me.
[00:58:23] [SPEAKER_02]: The haunted mansion lounge that everybody's freaking out about.
[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_02]: We're all pretty excited about that one that's going to be on the fantasy.
[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_02]: The Aristocats lounge that's going to be there on the fantasy.
[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_02]: So very, very deep themed.
[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything is Disney every moment you're on that ship.
[00:58:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And I was on the wish.
[00:58:44] [SPEAKER_02]: This is I went on the wish.
[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_02]: That was the one that was on in May.
[00:58:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It was a blast, but you are absolutely in the bubble 100% of the time.
[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sounds like it.
[00:58:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I could take that.
[00:58:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if I could deal with that.
[00:58:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Like sometimes like walking into downtown Disney's kind of a refresher.
[00:59:02] [SPEAKER_04]: That's like cleanser.
[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's I mean, because like so on the the magic and wonder fantasy and so magic and wonder,
[00:59:10] [SPEAKER_02]: they have like the adult neighborhood.
[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is also something that's different amongst the ships is the first four,
[00:59:16] [SPEAKER_02]: the magic wonder fantasy and dream have a have all their bars in one area of the ship.
[00:59:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything is just in one little spot of the ship.
[00:59:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And in the magic and wonder you have like either an Irish pub or a British pub.
[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_02]: You have like a nightclub and then you have like a piano bar.
[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_02]: The piano bar is either themed to pianos or to Cadillac cars.
[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't ask me how Cadillac scored that, but you know.
[00:59:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And then on the fantasy and dream, you have like a skyline lounge,
[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_02]: which is like the Star Wars lounge, except it's themed to sitting above the skylines of the world.
[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And so you're looking out onto the skylines of the world instead of different planets.
[00:59:58] [SPEAKER_02]: You have a Venetian bar.
[01:00:02] [SPEAKER_02]: You have like a bubbles bar that is loosely themed to Dumbo.
[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, all right.
[01:00:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Great.
[01:00:07] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.
[01:00:08] [SPEAKER_02]: So so you know those are not Disney'd out.
[01:00:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Whereas on the wish your one, your bars are spread out.
[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Your bars are all over the ship.
[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_02]: There is not just that neighborhood.
[01:00:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And then every single bar is themed to Disney.
[01:00:23] [SPEAKER_02]: So your pub is it's supposed to be kind of Norwegian themed,
[01:00:28] [SPEAKER_02]: but like you have crackings on the wall holding Mickey pretzels.
[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And like a map on the ceiling that has all the oceanic Disney stories plotted out on it.
[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You have the nightclub is themed to the Disney short Luna,
[01:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: which is a light theme at best.
[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?
[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a star.
[01:00:47] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I like the idea of having the bars, little drink spaces,
[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_04]: little spaces in general that are, I don't say sub themed, but not overtly themed.
[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you get a light theming for something that's maybe a little bit off the focus of whatever movie it is.
[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_04]: That's kind of neat.
[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_04]: And I think that would be cool.
[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Like instead of having the again in Kanto bar theme to Casita,
[01:01:10] [SPEAKER_04]: it would be like some offshoot, whatever, coffee house or whatever that they had.
[01:01:15] [SPEAKER_04]: They were drinking coffee at that would be kind of fun.
[01:01:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that would be a nice little way that on the wish
[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_02]: is where like so like the Tiana bar that's on the wish, it's called the bayou.
[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's got like Spanish moss hanging or not Spanish moss, the leaves.
[01:01:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't Magnolia leaves.
[01:01:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Hanging from the ceiling.
[01:01:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But there's not like frogs everywhere or anything like that.
[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?
[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And like the coffee shop that's on the wish is Moana themed sort of.
[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It's got like Maui's hook sitting on a shelf or like Polynesian art
[01:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: and kind of the colors of Moana, but not.
[01:01:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's good.
[01:01:56] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a good touch.
[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_05]: And so you're saying that the complete opposite is the upcoming haunted mansion lounge
[01:02:02] [SPEAKER_05]: where there's literally a story.
[01:02:04] [SPEAKER_05]: There's another ghost you've got to learn about.
[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And you have to do it.
[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_02]: You have to learn about it.
[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of stories for my for my SEA fans, Mary Oceaneer is Mary Oceaneer runs the kids' clubs
[01:02:21] [SPEAKER_02]: on The Magic and Wonder.
[01:02:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And she is a member of SEA, which is I'm really looking forward to Wonders My Next Cruise.
[01:02:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm really looking forward to checking that bit out and getting some of those story bits.
[01:02:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Other things that are different on the ships.
[01:02:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Your shows are different on every ship.
[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_02]: So check out there's actually a really great resource.
[01:02:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It's called Disney Cruise Line Blog.
[01:02:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a fan run blog, but they chronicle everything.
[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_02]: You can check out there.
[01:02:51] [SPEAKER_02]: They list all the shows.
[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So like on the wish right now, they're running a montage show that's like goofy,
[01:02:57] [SPEAKER_02]: jumping through all the different stories, getting the greatest hits, right?
[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Then you have a little mermaid show that's told from the perspective of people on the beach
[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_02]: who are like retelling the story of the little mermaid in like a Broadway style.
[01:03:14] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you have like tech videos where it's like people are peeler making TikTok videos
[01:03:19] [SPEAKER_04]: of the little mermaid, like what's up, fam?
[01:03:22] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got to check this out.
[01:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: This check is wild.
[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Look at this and it's like a shaky zoom in camera.
[01:03:29] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you guys think?
[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Leave a leave a comment below.
[01:03:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Let me know what you think.
[01:03:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Is this real or not?
[01:03:35] Yeah.
[01:03:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And then some shows, some ships have like a tangled, some have Lion King.
[01:03:42] [SPEAKER_02]: They have so go check that out.
[01:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm not going to go through all of them.
[01:03:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to bore you guys with the specifics.
[01:03:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Disney Cruise Line Blog lists what the current shows are on every ship.
[01:03:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you're looking for a show, right?
[01:03:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That might be a reason to pick a specific ship.
[01:03:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_02]: The sports offerings are different.
[01:03:59] [SPEAKER_02]: The fantasy and dream actually have mini golf courses on them.
[01:04:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Jesus.
[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_02]: The other ships don't.
[01:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of cool.
[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:04:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And then I would say the food is the best on the wish.
[01:04:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is a consistent thing I have heard,
[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: is that the wish has the best food.
[01:04:22] [SPEAKER_02]: The other four ships, the Magic Wonder Fantasy and Dream,
[01:04:26] [SPEAKER_02]: they have like a general fancy French-ish restaurant.
[01:04:31] [SPEAKER_02]: They have a restaurant themed to a princess.
[01:04:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they have Animator's Palate, which is kind of just elevated dining.
[01:04:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And so the wish has the most interesting food
[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and has what I've heard over and over is the best food.
[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
[01:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're a foodie, get on the wish.
[01:04:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's one method, right?
[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You choose your ship, right?
[01:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Easy peasy.
[01:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Pick your ship.
[01:04:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And you don't care where it's going.
[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You just want to get on the ship.
[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Other option here is to look at the itinerary, right?
[01:05:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you want to look at where you're going.
[01:05:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Disney has two private islands-ish.
[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_02]: One is actually a private island, Castaway Key.
[01:05:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything I've seen about Castaway Key
[01:05:15] [SPEAKER_02]: is that it is the superior private destination currently.
[01:05:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It is a private island.
[01:05:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Very chill.
[01:05:22] [SPEAKER_02]: It is go lay out on the beach, have free barbecue,
[01:05:26] [SPEAKER_02]: get a tropical drink, put your toes in the sand.
[01:05:30] [SPEAKER_02]: They do have snorkeling, which is kind of fun.
[01:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: They have like Disney statues that they have sunk
[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: and are using as artificial reefs.
[01:05:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, nice, dude.
[01:05:38] [SPEAKER_02]: They even have a 20,000 leagues under the sea submarine
[01:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: that they took from Disney World and sunk off the shore
[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: that you can swim out and check out.
[01:05:49] [SPEAKER_04]: That's cool.
[01:05:50] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a good touch.
[01:05:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I like that.
[01:05:52] Yeah.
[01:05:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's Castaway Key.
[01:05:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's great.
[01:05:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You can do stingrays.
[01:05:57] [SPEAKER_02]: There's all kinds of stuff to do there,
[01:05:58] [SPEAKER_02]: but really it's about hanging out.
[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Lookout point at Lighthouse Key or whatever they're calling
[01:06:04] [SPEAKER_02]: the word salad that is the new one.
[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a bit more of like a private resort on an inhabited island.
[01:06:13] [SPEAKER_02]: It's on the island of Elutra in the Bahamas.
[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_02]: They did design it to be more steeped in the local culture.
[01:06:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So they have a lot of Junkanoo
[01:06:21] [SPEAKER_02]: and a lot of Bahamian culture that comes in.
[01:06:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I noticed their beer menu even has local craft beers
[01:06:29] [SPEAKER_02]: like Pirate Republic from the Bahamas, which Castaway Key didn't.
[01:06:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It's got some drawbacks.
[01:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's got you have to walk about a quarter of a mile,
[01:06:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I believe it is, from the boat to get to the tram
[01:06:42] [SPEAKER_02]: and then ride that tram another half a mile to get to the beach.
[01:06:47] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's on the other side of the island, right?
[01:06:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:06:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[01:06:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's not terrible.
[01:06:52] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got to walk off all that soft serve that you stick to.
[01:06:55] [SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
[01:06:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It is very new.
[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: There's not a whole lot of shade, that kind of stuff.
[01:07:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, think early days Mad Earth,
[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_02]: early days Animal Kingdom before the trees grew up.
[01:07:06] [SPEAKER_02]: But I haven't been to Lookout Key.
[01:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I went to Castaway on my cruise.
[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It was great.
[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Super fun time.
[01:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Look out.
[01:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything I've seen on it is it's going to get good.
[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: It just right now is new.
[01:07:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[01:07:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That's fair.
[01:07:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and you're all inclusive benefits
[01:07:23] [SPEAKER_02]: extend to the islands.
[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_02]: So soft drinks, soft serve on the islands, barbecue on the islands,
[01:07:31] [SPEAKER_02]: all that's in your price.
[01:07:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Nice.
[01:07:33] [SPEAKER_04]: What a free salad.
[01:07:34] [SPEAKER_04]: What about a frigging apple?
[01:07:36] [SPEAKER_04]: There is salad.
[01:07:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Nobody's getting that.
[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_02]: There is and there's fresh fruit.
[01:07:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I took Taheen on my cruise so that I could put it on the like fresh water,
[01:07:46] [SPEAKER_02]: fresh cut watermelon that was on the island.
[01:07:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It was great sitting on the beach.
[01:07:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So then outside of their private islands, which are down in the Caribbean,
[01:07:56] [SPEAKER_02]: you can do all kinds of cruises in the Caribbean.
[01:07:58] [SPEAKER_02]: They have they visit the Bahamas, they visit San Juan, all over the Caribbean.
[01:08:05] [SPEAKER_02]: They also have Alaska cruises that depart from Vancouver and go up into Alaska.
[01:08:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So if that's something you're into, really cool like characters in Alaskan garb that are on
[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_02]: the cruises for that really unique opportunities there.
[01:08:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You also have Mexican cruises.
[01:08:25] [SPEAKER_02]: So those usually leave from San Diego and go down to the west side of Mexico.
[01:08:31] [SPEAKER_02]: They also do stop in Cozumel from Galveston sometimes too.
[01:08:35] [SPEAKER_02]: They also have some stuff in the South Pacific and for our Australian listener that I know we have,
[01:08:40] [SPEAKER_02]: they also do move a ship to Australia at least once a year.
[01:08:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they also move a ship to Europe at least once a year and do like metatraining cruises.
[01:08:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
[01:08:53] [SPEAKER_02]: There's also the days at sea options, which unfortunately are starting to like shrink
[01:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: in the offerings that Disney is offering on these.
[01:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: So they used to offer a Star Wars day at sea, a Pixar day at sea,
[01:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Marvel day at sea, Halloween at sea, Christmas at sea, those sort of things where
[01:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: it's a day where you're not in port.
[01:09:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It's very themed to those days.
[01:09:15] [SPEAKER_02]: At this point, the only itineraries that they have left are Marvel, Halloween and Christmas.
[01:09:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Christmas at sea would be cool.
[01:09:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I know for our cruise, and I think it's like cruises in general,
[01:09:27] [SPEAKER_04]: you have to spend a day at sea and you just are doing like figure eights in the ocean.
[01:09:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you're not going anywhere.
[01:09:32] [SPEAKER_04]: You're just literally doing a weird pattern in the ocean.
[01:09:35] [SPEAKER_04]: But that'd be kind of neat.
[01:09:36] [SPEAKER_04]: A Christmas at sea would be fun.
[01:09:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Halloween, I don't know.
[01:09:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I love a Halloween, but for some reason there's something
[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_04]: a little bit more special about Christmas on the sea.
[01:09:45] [SPEAKER_04]: But I think that would be the one I would pick.
[01:09:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It can't be magical.
[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I've seen some of the menus too, and they'll do like on Christmas.
[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_02]: They'll do traditional dinner instead of the like
[01:09:54] [SPEAKER_02]: dining menu for that day and stuff, which is kind of cool.
[01:09:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:09:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I would also say for any first time cruisers, get an itinerary with a day at sea.
[01:10:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Because they do have itineraries that are nothing but ports.
[01:10:08] [SPEAKER_02]: There's so much on these boats to do.
[01:10:10] [SPEAKER_02]: You want a day at sea.
[01:10:12] [SPEAKER_02]: So you can't shop when you're at port.
[01:10:15] [SPEAKER_04]: It's true.
[01:10:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I think also the chaos of getting off and on the boat
[01:10:21] [SPEAKER_04]: is it can't really be understated either.
[01:10:23] [SPEAKER_04]: It's very much like you're waiting in line.
[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_04]: So you're going to the parks, you're used to waiting in line.
[01:10:29] [SPEAKER_04]: But waiting in line to get off the boat, do that whole thing,
[01:10:32] [SPEAKER_04]: make sure you're on at five or seven or whatever your time is.
[01:10:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Because they will leave your narrow ass on the beach.
[01:10:40] [SPEAKER_04]: They will leave you behind and that is up to you to get home at that point.
[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, Disney, my experience in the Bahamas was it was super quick on and off the boat.
[01:10:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Disney hasn't worked out with like local authorities and stuff to where like
[01:10:53] [SPEAKER_02]: on the on mine, you could scan your magic band at customs and they're like,
[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: well, yep, you're with Disney.
[01:11:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Go to your boat, get on.
[01:11:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Hell yeah, dude.
[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Bring in some pills home.
[01:11:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And then there's also kind of there's a cool option that you can do.
[01:11:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is my next cruise is going to be one of these.
[01:11:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So they there's these transfer cruises.
[01:11:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So anytime they're moving a ship from place to place,
[01:11:19] [SPEAKER_02]: they're going to sell that passage, right?
[01:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: So you have transatlantic cruises, which a lot of people know about.
[01:11:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That's, you know, going from usually somewhere in Florida to
[01:11:29] [SPEAKER_02]: England usually is where where they end up.
[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's the transatlantic 14 days you're going across the Atlantic and
[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: you get a lot of days at sea.
[01:11:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I know that Eric's co-host on some of his other shows,
[01:11:42] [SPEAKER_02]: tag just did one of those and it sounds really cool.
[01:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It's it's definitely on my bucket list.
[01:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sounds awesome.
[01:11:49] [SPEAKER_02]: The cruise, the next cruise that I'm on is actually a transfer cruise
[01:11:53] [SPEAKER_02]: from Vancouver down to San Diego.
[01:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's a one way cruise from Vancouver down to San Diego.
[01:11:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's actually the end of several transfer cruises that the wonder is doing
[01:12:02] [SPEAKER_02]: where they're moving it from Australia.
[01:12:04] [SPEAKER_02]: They're moving it from Australia to Hawaii.
[01:12:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So you could go one way Australia to Hawaii.
[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Dude, how many days is that?
[01:12:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Like two weeks?
[01:12:13] [SPEAKER_02]: 14 days.
[01:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[01:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[01:12:15] [SPEAKER_02]: There's another one.
[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_02]: 14 days from Australia to or from Hawaii to Vancouver.
[01:12:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I also feel like if you're going from Australia to Hawaii,
[01:12:25] [SPEAKER_04]: you're basically just doing you just home.
[01:12:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, I don't know.
[01:12:28] [SPEAKER_04]: It's you're going from one island to another, but one is, you know, has more trees.
[01:12:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:12:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just the South Pacific at that.
[01:12:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You're just experiencing the South Pacific.
[01:12:36] [SPEAKER_02]: You're right.
[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And then occasionally they'll do a Panama Canal cruise.
[01:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Now those haven't been done a whole lot in the last couple of years.
[01:12:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And actually they are doing one and one of my close friends is going to be on
[01:12:49] [SPEAKER_02]: the next Panama Canal cruise that they're doing in 2026.
[01:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It sold out the day that it released.
[01:12:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And because people want to do Panama Canal, it's going from Galveston, Texas through
[01:13:03] [SPEAKER_02]: the Panama Canal and over into San Diego.
[01:13:06] [SPEAKER_02]: They're moving the magic to the West Coast, which is interesting because they're going
[01:13:10] [SPEAKER_02]: to have the two smallest and oldest ships now on the West Coast.
[01:13:13] [SPEAKER_05]: Well, they've got a lot of smaller, those Mexico trips are only what like three days usually.
[01:13:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's really what it boils down to is like they can run,
[01:13:22] [SPEAKER_02]: they can run one up in Alaska more full time or sail one over two,
[01:13:27] [SPEAKER_02]: like have it alternate between Alaska and Australia.
[01:13:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And the other one just runs those Mexico cruises year round.
[01:13:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Interesting.
[01:13:36] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[01:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Pee is in the chat.
[01:13:39] [SPEAKER_04]: And of course he is.
[01:13:40] [SPEAKER_04]: He says, were there any negative experiences on the boat?
[01:13:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Like drunk people getting rowdy or Karens talking to managers or whatever?
[01:13:49] [SPEAKER_02]: On my cruise, there wasn't.
[01:13:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to think through that.
[01:13:53] [SPEAKER_02]: There wasn't too much of that.
[01:13:54] [SPEAKER_02]: There was one guy who was kind of awkward.
[01:13:58] [SPEAKER_02]: He sat next to me at the bar during Marvel trivia and he was just an awkward dude, but
[01:14:02] [SPEAKER_02]: he's a Marvel fan.
[01:14:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, come on.
[01:14:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Trying to think.
[01:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing else that I can think of, which I think part of that is the price tag.
[01:14:11] [SPEAKER_02]: That would probably elicit more Karen behavior, I would guess.
[01:14:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I think part of it's a price tag out.
[01:14:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It also sounds like the drinks packages are non-existent and therefore that's going to
[01:14:20] [SPEAKER_04]: really kind of curb a lot of that enthusiasm.
[01:14:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:14:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's not expensive for drinks, like I mentioned, five bucks for the drink of the day,
[01:14:31] [SPEAKER_02]: which is a mixed drink that's premixed.
[01:14:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Drink of the day.
[01:14:34] [SPEAKER_04]: If I remember, Terrence was saying he was paying like 11 bucks for Blanton's or something
[01:14:39] [SPEAKER_04]: like that on his cruise.
[01:14:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Like dude, or eight or some infuriatingly low amount of money.
[01:14:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Beers or like domestic slash cheap imports are like six, seven bucks, which isn't terrible.
[01:14:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not.
[01:14:54] [SPEAKER_04]: No, it's not bad.
[01:14:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Like we went when we did our cruise, I bought the drink package was 75 bucks a day
[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_04]: and all I drank was new castle.
[01:15:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I had mojitos and stuff too, but I don't think those counted.
[01:15:06] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's just beer and it was like that's a lot of new castle to drink.
[01:15:10] [SPEAKER_04]: That's like eight new castles a day.
[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Or maybe nine to get your value and that's a lot.
[01:15:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:15:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot of beer, but I did it.
[01:15:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I want you to know that.
[01:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's not too...
[01:15:21] [SPEAKER_02]: There wasn't too much of that.
[01:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: There's like some story that stuck in my mind, but I can't think of it now.
[01:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I will say I did pay $52 for one specific drink when I was on the cruise.
[01:15:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Dog.
[01:15:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So this was a very specific thing on the wish the barbershop is called Hook's Barberry.
[01:15:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And for three hours a night, I think it is.
[01:15:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It's from 5...
[01:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
[01:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: They pull back a map of Neverland and they like the rest of the day there's this big
[01:15:56] [SPEAKER_02]: map of Neverland on the wall.
[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_02]: They move that map of Neverland that's in the barbershop and there's this huge
[01:16:05] [SPEAKER_02]: wall of whiskey and they do custom old-fashioned.
[01:16:11] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no menu to it.
[01:16:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Just the cast member who's working there.
[01:16:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I talked to the cast member for a good long time because you want to get your
[01:16:18] [SPEAKER_02]: experience out of it, right?
[01:16:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm talking to this guy and he's been on...
[01:16:22] [SPEAKER_02]: He had been on the wish since it set sail
[01:16:27] [SPEAKER_02]: and had worked his way up to getting that spot.
[01:16:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And that was like his goal was he wanted to be there.
[01:16:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
[01:16:35] [SPEAKER_02]: That's probably what all the tips are, honestly.
[01:16:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah.
[01:16:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Cayenne drinking?
[01:16:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:16:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It's also the creativity.
[01:16:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Because there's no menu so like for mine he did...
[01:16:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It was rye.
[01:16:50] [SPEAKER_02]: It was a whistle pig rye, custom bitters that he had made.
[01:16:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I forget what was in it now.
[01:16:56] [SPEAKER_02]: A habanero simple syrup and then habanero candied bacon.
[01:17:02] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[01:17:02] [SPEAKER_02]: You lost me at the bacon.
[01:17:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It was...
[01:17:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and it smoked.
[01:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: That's one of the few places on the ship that they're allowed to have open flame.
[01:17:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So they have these little smoking cloches that they can smoke the...
[01:17:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Like the glass and stuff?
[01:17:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:17:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Dude, they have a...
[01:17:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[01:17:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I know you didn't sell these.
[01:17:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I know you didn't like set this up.
[01:17:22] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not your thing.
[01:17:23] [SPEAKER_04]: But they have little handheld units.
[01:17:25] [SPEAKER_04]: They're like 300 bucks.
[01:17:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And you can put little wood chips and stuff in the thing
[01:17:30] [SPEAKER_04]: and it's like a like a crumbly torch kind of.
[01:17:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:17:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And it just emits smoke out of there.
[01:17:34] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't even need an open flame.
[01:17:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, they use that in the Star Wars bar.
[01:17:38] [SPEAKER_02]: The Star Wars bar and there's also like a Cinderella bar
[01:17:42] [SPEAKER_02]: that has a bunch of bubble drinks.
[01:17:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh yeah.
[01:17:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Based on like her cleaning and that sort of thing.
[01:17:48] [SPEAKER_02]: But they do make...
[01:17:49] [SPEAKER_02]: They make smoke bubbles, right?
[01:17:50] [SPEAKER_02]: They use those same things.
[01:17:51] [SPEAKER_02]: They just dip it in some edible bubble solution and...
[01:17:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
[01:17:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
[01:17:57] [SPEAKER_04]: All bubble solution is edible if you're under 10.
[01:18:00] [SPEAKER_02]: True.
[01:18:00] [SPEAKER_07]: I thought you meant champagne drinks.
[01:18:02] [SPEAKER_02]: They also have a bunch of champagne drinks.
[01:18:04] [SPEAKER_07]: I was like, I am there.
[01:18:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, bubbly.
[01:18:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:18:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So they do bubbles on all of its understandings, right?
[01:18:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So smoke bubbles, like these ice,
[01:18:13] [SPEAKER_02]: like spherical ice bubbles that they fill with the booze
[01:18:15] [SPEAKER_02]: and then you get a little hammer that you crack it open with.
[01:18:18] Oh, fun.
[01:18:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And then also champagne-based drinks.
[01:18:23] [SPEAKER_05]: If I recall, on the inaugural, the maiden voyage of the wish,
[01:18:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Josh Demiro spent a lot of time at that Barbary whiskey bar
[01:18:34] [SPEAKER_05]: drinking George Washington Rye and Happy.
[01:18:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they had that very prominently like, oh, look what we have.
[01:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a cool experience.
[01:18:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was really...
[01:18:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually...
[01:18:49] [SPEAKER_02]: My beard trim happened on the ship
[01:18:52] [SPEAKER_02]: so that I could be there to get a drink.
[01:18:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I was like...
[01:18:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, so you staked out your spot?
[01:18:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, kind of.
[01:19:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, you're like, oh, it's timed this perfectly for the transitional...
[01:19:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, then what I did was I transitioned it poorly
[01:19:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and I didn't end up getting the drink that night
[01:19:10] [SPEAKER_02]: because there was a tasting going on.
[01:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And they do...
[01:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the other thing, you know,
[01:19:14] [SPEAKER_02]: they offer tastings and stuff, but really cool there.
[01:19:18] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, you could choose by your itinerary, right?
[01:19:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Where do you want to go?
[01:19:22] [SPEAKER_02]: That's how a lot of people choose their cruises.
[01:19:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Where do I want to go?
[01:19:26] [SPEAKER_02]: These transfer...
[01:19:27] [SPEAKER_02]: The transfer cruises, which is the last thing I mentioned there,
[01:19:30] [SPEAKER_02]: they tend to be a little cheaper too than an average cruise
[01:19:32] [SPEAKER_02]: because it's one way.
[01:19:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So there's more logistics.
[01:19:35] [SPEAKER_02]: You as the passenger have to figure out,
[01:19:38] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, we're departing Canada,
[01:19:40] [SPEAKER_02]: ending up in the US.
[01:19:42] [SPEAKER_02]: What does that look like for us?
[01:19:44] [SPEAKER_02]: That sort of thing.
[01:19:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
[01:19:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And on spoiler alert, that doesn't mean a whole lot.
[01:19:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It just means our passports need to be up to date.
[01:19:49] [SPEAKER_02]: But...
[01:19:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[01:19:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So the last method I would say is picking by departure port.
[01:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?
[01:19:57] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're cheap like me,
[01:19:58] [SPEAKER_02]: you're going to look for where it's cheap to get to.
[01:20:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And so Vancouver, San Diego, Galveston from here in Colorado,
[01:20:06] [SPEAKER_02]: those are under $100 on Southwest.
[01:20:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I can pop out to those versus getting to Florida to get on a cruise
[01:20:14] [SPEAKER_02]: is going to cost us, you know, a couple hundred bucks each for each flight.
[01:20:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So choosing specifically where it's leaving from also very valid.
[01:20:26] [SPEAKER_02]: It's something that not a lot of people think about, right?
[01:20:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Is how do I get there?
[01:20:30] [SPEAKER_02]: How do I get to the...
[01:20:32] [SPEAKER_02]: To the port.
[01:20:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they don't come pick you up.
[01:20:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[01:20:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Spoiler alert.
[01:20:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:20:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And so pick a port that is easy to get to or a port that you want to do things in.
[01:20:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is one of my best, biggest tips for cruises is know that you need to be in the
[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: port city the night before you leave and the night after you get home.
[01:21:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, when you return or when you disembark, stay the night where you are.
[01:21:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And so tack on some extra fun, right?
[01:21:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So for example, my cruise next March, we're departing from Vancouver.
[01:21:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So we're flying to Seattle.
[01:21:20] [SPEAKER_02]: We're spending the day in Seattle taking the train up to Vancouver,
[01:21:25] [SPEAKER_02]: spending the day in Vancouver departing on the cruise the next day.
[01:21:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:21:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And then we get a day in San Diego on the backside.
[01:21:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Do not do Disney parks after a cruise.
[01:21:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I have talked to so many people that have horror stories about that.
[01:21:40] [SPEAKER_02]: You basically waste all the relaxation you just got off that cruise.
[01:21:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, absolutely.
[01:21:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Speaking of ways to relax.
[01:21:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Summer is just around the corner and our friends at the 21st Amendment Brewery
[01:21:54] [SPEAKER_04]: are welcoming the warmer weather with open arms and a refreshing favorite
[01:21:58] [SPEAKER_04]: hell or high watermelon week.
[01:22:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Picture this, a sunny day, the smell of barbecue in the air
[01:22:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and a cold, crisp hell or high watermelon in your hand.
[01:22:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the ultimate summertime companion, perfect for those unforgettable gatherings
[01:22:13] [SPEAKER_04]: with friends and family.
[01:22:15] [SPEAKER_04]: But what makes hell or high watermelon so special?
[01:22:17] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not just its bright straw color or tight white bubble.
[01:22:21] [SPEAKER_04]: No, it's the subtle blend of wheat beer with a hint of sweet biscuit
[01:22:24] [SPEAKER_04]: and a kiss of juicy watermelon that sets it apart from the rest.
[01:22:28] [SPEAKER_04]: With its refreshing flavor and delightful light fruit notes,
[01:22:31] [SPEAKER_04]: hell or high watermelon is bound to become your go-to summer beer.
[01:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: And at just 4.9% ABV, you can enjoy it all day long without missing a beat.
[01:22:42] [SPEAKER_04]: So when you're looking for that perfect beverage to complement those
[01:22:45] [SPEAKER_04]: sunny days and backyard barbecues, look no further than hell or high watermelon week.
[01:22:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Find it wherever great craft beer is sold and make this summer one to remember.
[01:22:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, other cruise ports obviously Port Canaveral is right there by Disney World.
[01:23:06] [SPEAKER_02]: We actually went to Epcot the day before our cruise.
[01:23:10] [SPEAKER_02]: We flew in and went to Epcot and then got on the cruise.
[01:23:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So Port Canaveral is right there by Orlando.
[01:23:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
[01:23:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So think about that too.
[01:23:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Also, just to put a finer point on it, when I was doing my cruise, we actually missed our flight.
[01:23:29] [SPEAKER_04]: So we were leaving out of Miami and we planned to fly in and then do stuff during the day
[01:23:36] [SPEAKER_04]: in Miami and then the next day go on the cruise.
[01:23:41] [SPEAKER_04]: But we missed our flight because someone in our group decided to take too long.
[01:23:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And we were 15, we were 45 minutes or before takeoff, but American wouldn't take our bags
[01:23:59] [SPEAKER_04]: at that point.
[01:24:00] [SPEAKER_04]: We were five minutes over the deadline for the cutoff.
[01:24:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like we're in line.
[01:24:05] [SPEAKER_04]: We've been standing in line, but the ticket taker took so long to get to us that it blew our
[01:24:12] [SPEAKER_04]: timeframe and they wouldn't let us on the.
[01:24:13] [SPEAKER_04]: So we had to spend 12 hours in SFO.
[01:24:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Just roaming SFO and getting massages and stuff like that.
[01:24:22] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's also a thing too is don't plan on leaving that day.
[01:24:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I'm going to fly into Miami at two because I have a three o'clock boarding.
[01:24:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you might miss your flight.
[01:24:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't do that.
[01:24:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And enjoy the port cities, right?
[01:24:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Vancouver is a cool place.
[01:24:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Disney leaves out of like Vancouver, San Diego, Galveston, which is Houston, and then Miami
[01:24:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and Port Canaveral.
[01:24:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool, cool places to hang out.
[01:24:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, for sure.
[01:24:51] [SPEAKER_02]: At this point we've picked our crews, right?
[01:24:53] [SPEAKER_02]: We either found a ship that has stuff we like.
[01:24:56] [SPEAKER_02]: We're like, okay, cool.
[01:24:57] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm going to do.
[01:24:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Found an itinerary that's going somewhere cool.
[01:25:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Or we were like, hey, there's a port city here that has cool stuff that I want to do
[01:25:06] [SPEAKER_02]: or is close to me and that's how I want to do it.
[01:25:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure, sure.
[01:25:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So then you've booked your crews.
[01:25:12] [SPEAKER_02]: How do you start your pre-work?
[01:25:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to tell you it's not like Disney parks where you need to get a four year degree
[01:25:21] [SPEAKER_02]: to make sense of it all.
[01:25:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[01:25:24] [SPEAKER_02]: You can pretty quickly get a good feel for what you're going to experience in a few ways.
[01:25:33] [SPEAKER_02]: First and foremost, join the Facebook group for your crews.
[01:25:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Search for the date, search for the ship name, join that group.
[01:25:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Our Wish crews had about 500 members in it.
[01:25:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So of about 4,000 people on the ship, 500 of them all got to know each other through this
[01:25:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Facebook group.
[01:25:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's where you set up Fish Extenders, which Eric alluded to earlier.
[01:25:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Fish Extenders are a really cool kind of secret Santa type gift exchange that goes on
[01:26:05] [SPEAKER_02]: on cruise ships where you have like a pocket organizer outside your door and people drop
[01:26:11] [SPEAKER_02]: off little $20 gifts to you.
[01:26:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, what Terrence was talking about.
[01:26:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't like that.
[01:26:16] [SPEAKER_02]: It's uncomfortable for me.
[01:26:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to do it.
[01:26:18] [SPEAKER_02]: It's definitely one of those things where it's like, do it or not, it's kind of up to you.
[01:26:23] [SPEAKER_02]: We got some kind of cool stuff.
[01:26:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I will say for anybody who's looking at cruising, get disposable things for your
[01:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Fish Extender.
[01:26:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Do not give people hard goods that they have to figure out what to do with after the fact
[01:26:38] [SPEAKER_02]: or make it really nice hard goods.
[01:26:42] [SPEAKER_02]: What are you talking about?
[01:26:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Our group gave like, Tervis tumblers.
[01:26:46] [SPEAKER_02]: What's a Fish Extender?
[01:26:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the Fish Extender is the gift exchange.
[01:26:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
[01:26:51] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[01:26:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:26:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I must have blacked out.
[01:26:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a weird name.
[01:26:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You're all good.
[01:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: You're good.
[01:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: You're good.
[01:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Somebody gave like Tervis tumblers that were like customized with custom decals and
[01:26:59] [SPEAKER_02]: stuff.
[01:26:59] [SPEAKER_02]: That's nice, right?
[01:27:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Those are high quality if you're going to splash out, splash out.
[01:27:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess.
[01:27:04] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're not going to splash out though, just get like a bunch of like put Mickey
[01:27:11] [SPEAKER_02]: stickers on some red solo cups and give people like toppings for the soft serve so that they
[01:27:16] [SPEAKER_02]: can have a little Sunday party, right?
[01:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I see.
[01:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a popular one I see or like.
[01:27:21] [SPEAKER_02]: That's too much for me dude.
[01:27:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't deal with it.
[01:27:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Or food from your country.
[01:27:25] [SPEAKER_02]: We were in a Fish Extender group with two Mexican families
[01:27:29] [SPEAKER_02]: and they brought Mexican candy and gave it to us.
[01:27:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Or like things that can happen on board.
[01:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Like we gave coloring books and decks of UNO cards for people
[01:27:40] [SPEAKER_02]: so that were for kids, right?
[01:27:43] [SPEAKER_02]: The coloring books were for the kids in the group.
[01:27:45] [SPEAKER_02]: UNO cards for the parents so that when they're in their cabin at night and
[01:27:49] [SPEAKER_02]: they're not doing anything else, they have something to do.
[01:27:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[01:27:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Seems a lot like socialism to me, right?
[01:27:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[01:27:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't really go for that.
[01:27:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I think also Terrence experienced, if I remember correctly, what's called Pixie dusting,
[01:28:03] [SPEAKER_02]: which is kind of more of a random gift exchange.
[01:28:06] [SPEAKER_02]: People drop off friendship bracelets or...
[01:28:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Dude, who has time for that?
[01:28:12] [SPEAKER_04]: No.
[01:28:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Enjoy your own cruise.
[01:28:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Go do your own thing.
[01:28:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't worry about how I participate in my life.
[01:28:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't worry about it.
[01:28:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm also not going to bring on a bunch of gifts for random strangers.
[01:28:23] [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm not going to go to the dollar store for Tina and Ben and the bratty little kids.
[01:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I will say so.
[01:28:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Mr. P mentioned bringing on a bottle of hypnotic or a bottle of Hennessy for everybody.
[01:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, that would not work.
[01:28:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And one of the people in our Facebook group forgot about that until literally the day they were getting
[01:28:44] [SPEAKER_02]: on, you are not allowed to have hard alcohol in your cruise room.
[01:28:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And so there was like a group there.
[01:28:52] [SPEAKER_02]: One of the families was from Canada and they were going to bring Canadian whiskey
[01:28:56] [SPEAKER_02]: and give it to all the people in their group.
[01:28:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, everyone has a bottle of screech.
[01:29:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, cool.
[01:29:03] [SPEAKER_04]: What else, Ryan?
[01:29:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Join the Facebook group.
[01:29:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Great place to ask questions, right?
[01:29:08] [SPEAKER_02]: There are people who have been on 75 cruises in that group.
[01:29:12] [SPEAKER_02]: There are people who have been on...
[01:29:13] [SPEAKER_02]: This is their first one.
[01:29:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So really cool kind of option there to really get to know who you're cruising with,
[01:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: which you're on the equivalent of a hotel, right?
[01:29:29] [SPEAKER_02]: You're on this small space for several days with the same people.
[01:29:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to see the same people all the time.
[01:29:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's really nice to kind of get to know them ahead of time a little bit.
[01:29:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And there is a really cool culture that has grown around that.
[01:29:41] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of people who get really into it.
[01:29:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Usually there's a WhatsApp group that gets formed because WhatsApp works
[01:29:50] [SPEAKER_02]: without buying the Wi-Fi package on the ship.
[01:29:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You can just connect to the free Wi-Fi and what's Apple work.
[01:29:57] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you're trying to organize, hanging out with people...
[01:30:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, nice on our crews, man.
[01:30:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you're at the mercy of service.
[01:30:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I would also say as far as pre-cruise prep work,
[01:30:11] [SPEAKER_02]: there's a lot of YouTubers out there that do vlogs and tours
[01:30:17] [SPEAKER_02]: to cut through some of the noise out there.
[01:30:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I do want to mention just a couple that I found that aren't terrible, right?
[01:30:26] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of Disney vlogs, as we know from our time with Walkabouts
[01:30:33] [SPEAKER_02]: that are just absolutely obnoxious.
[01:30:36] [SPEAKER_02]: But Ben and David are a cruise couple from England
[01:30:42] [SPEAKER_02]: and they do all kinds of cruises, not just Disney cruises,
[01:30:46] [SPEAKER_02]: but they have content about most of the ships.
[01:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Ordinary Adventures is a YouTube channel that's all about Disney stuff
[01:30:55] [SPEAKER_02]: and they do Disney cruises.
[01:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Mammoth Fam is another one and then Super Enthusied.
[01:31:02] [SPEAKER_02]: So all four of those, I would say I use them for various research purposes
[01:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: about these ships.
[01:31:10] [SPEAKER_02]: They'll do walkthroughs.
[01:31:11] [SPEAKER_02]: They'll show you what they're eating, those sort of things with minimal annoyance on most of them.
[01:31:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, YouTube and minimal annoyance don't really go together.
[01:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: That's cool.
[01:31:22] [SPEAKER_07]: I gotta say Super Enthusied really missed the boat pun intended
[01:31:26] [SPEAKER_07]: by not calling themselves Super-Encruised.
[01:31:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's fair.
[01:31:33] [SPEAKER_02]: They do theme park stuff mostly, but they also cruise.
[01:31:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[01:31:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And when you're doing that research, it's important to know your sister ships.
[01:31:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So like I mentioned, the magic and wonder are essentially the same ship,
[01:31:48] [SPEAKER_02]: just different stuff, just different themes,
[01:31:51] [SPEAKER_02]: but they have the same menu in several of their restaurants.
[01:31:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
[01:31:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Also knowing your menus.
[01:31:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So like Animator's Palate is the same on the Four Older ships.
[01:32:01] [SPEAKER_02]: The experience of Animator's Palate is a little bit different between the oldest ships
[01:32:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and then the second class.
[01:32:08] [SPEAKER_02]: So the oldest ships, Animator's Palate is really cool.
[01:32:11] [SPEAKER_02]: The walls kind of, they have all these screens and you watch sketches go from concept to full
[01:32:16] [SPEAKER_02]: animation and then the phantasmic music plays at the end and Mickey comes out and says hello to
[01:32:23] [SPEAKER_02]: everybody, which is kind of fun.
[01:32:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
[01:32:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That's neat.
[01:32:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And then on the second class of ships, on the Dream and Fantasy,
[01:32:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Animator's Palate is basically Turtle Talk with Crush.
[01:32:33] [SPEAKER_02]: He just comes to a screen by your table and talks to you.
[01:32:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
[01:32:38] [SPEAKER_02]: There's also on the Four Older ships, Lumiere's Triton's Royal Palace and Royal Court,
[01:32:43] [SPEAKER_02]: all the same menu.
[01:32:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you're looking at a review of one of those four, you're looking at a review of all of them.
[01:32:51] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[01:32:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And then like I mentioned earlier, Disney Cruise Line Blog, fantastic for this research.
[01:32:57] [SPEAKER_02]: They have fan submitted menus so every time they get a new submission about
[01:33:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I would say probably once or twice a month where somebody has gone on the cruise,
[01:33:08] [SPEAKER_02]: they've taken a picture of the menus, they upload it.
[01:33:10] [SPEAKER_02]: You can see everything there.
[01:33:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Super great for kind of knowing what you're getting into.
[01:33:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Knowing is this going to have something for me?
[01:33:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Disney Cruise Line Blog is fantastic for that.
[01:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
[01:33:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Now you've done your prep work.
[01:33:27] [SPEAKER_02]: You're doing your research, you're figuring out, now you go on your trip.
[01:33:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Enjoy your trip.
[01:33:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I mentioned, get to your port at least one day before and leave at least one day after.
[01:33:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't stress the rest of it.
[01:33:41] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're in Orlando, there's cool stuff to do that isn't Walt Disney World.
[01:33:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Actually on this trip.
[01:33:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Universal Studios or leaving one of those two things.
[01:33:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Or Gatorland.
[01:33:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I guess.
[01:33:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually did Gatorland during my cruise trip.
[01:33:59] [SPEAKER_02]: We stayed with some friends who lived down there and we got to do Gatorland.
[01:34:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We also got to do a soccer game.
[01:34:06] [SPEAKER_02]: We went to the friends we stayed with, they score for the teams in Orlando.
[01:34:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So we got to go for free to the Orlando Pride, which is the female team there.
[01:34:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Lots to do in Orlando is more than just Disney World.
[01:34:25] [SPEAKER_02]: So even if you don't want to try and figure out how to do a Disney World trip,
[01:34:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I think our concierge called it a land and sea or a surf and turf trip.
[01:34:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You can still figure out other things to do around Orlando as well.
[01:34:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Excellent.
[01:34:39] [SPEAKER_02]: That is it.
[01:34:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I would say the I had a note here about packing, but I think that that's so dependent on your
[01:34:46] [SPEAKER_02]: itinerary that my packing tips are magnetic hooks.
[01:34:51] [SPEAKER_02]: You get six.
[01:34:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You get a six pack of beer.
[01:34:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You can take a six pack of beer or two bottles of wine on.
[01:34:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, just not hard liquor.
[01:34:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[01:34:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:34:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:34:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I wonder if you could just buy pre-made the cans of pre-made alcoholic drinks.
[01:35:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure, they're only 10%, but water.
[01:35:07] [SPEAKER_04]: You could probably sneak that by them.
[01:35:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I know, right?
[01:35:10] [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm not going to pull out any labels or whatever.
[01:35:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Interesting.
[01:35:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Or if you're a home brewer, you have a canning system at home.
[01:35:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Then you could go.
[01:35:20] [SPEAKER_04]: You could just can your own, you know, just straight tequila.
[01:35:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:35:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Just a can of literal liquor.
[01:35:26] [SPEAKER_04]: No one will ever know.
[01:35:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't definitely pay attention to Disney's do not bring rules.
[01:35:32] [SPEAKER_02]: They have some weird stuff on there, so don't just think of vacationed before.
[01:35:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I know what not to bring.
[01:35:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Check those out.
[01:35:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Things like power strips aren't allowed.
[01:35:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Surge protected power strips, I should say.
[01:35:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Stuff like that.
[01:35:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So check that stuff out.
[01:35:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to hear that from everybody.
[01:35:49] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't need me to tell you that kind of stuff.
[01:35:51] [SPEAKER_02]: That's it?
[01:35:52] [SPEAKER_02]: From there, yeah.
[01:35:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Just enjoy your cruise, man.
[01:35:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Genuinely, the Disney difference is real and it is absolutely real on the cruise line.
[01:36:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I am a huge advocate of Disney cruises at this point.
[01:36:04] [SPEAKER_02]: It is.
[01:36:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the the parks feel that you miss everything you miss about about the parks,
[01:36:10] [SPEAKER_02]: all of the cool stuff that used to happen in the parks,
[01:36:13] [SPEAKER_02]: the free plushies that would show up on strollers and all that stuff.
[01:36:17] [SPEAKER_02]: That's happening on the cruise that that's moved to water.
[01:36:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:36:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that was very informative, Ryan.
[01:36:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate you very much.
[01:36:26] [SPEAKER_04]: It was very detailed and you did a great job.
[01:36:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I am glad to have shared.
[01:36:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:36:33] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[01:36:33] [SPEAKER_04]: We are out of here.
[01:36:35] [SPEAKER_04]: That was a long time, man.
[01:36:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I hope everyone, you know, is okay with that.
[01:36:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Actually, I don't really care.
[01:36:41] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of good information.
[01:36:42] [SPEAKER_04]: That's great.
[01:36:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sitting there going, wow, I keep forgetting like I keep having these people on that
[01:36:46] [SPEAKER_04]: do like eight hour shows.
[01:36:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:36:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.
[01:36:49] [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no, no.
[01:36:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm tired of me.
[01:36:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Definitely not a, definitely an apology scenario.
[01:36:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Just coming off the scraping of all that beside, I was like, oh man, I forgot.
[01:36:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I keep forgetting.
[01:37:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Keep forgetting.
[01:37:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Everyone have like big, like details.
[01:37:03] [SPEAKER_04]: They have like good details.
[01:37:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just like, I don't know.
[01:37:05] [SPEAKER_04]: The ship floats.
[01:37:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It does.
[01:37:08] [SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
[01:37:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[01:37:08] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, as long as it's not the Titanic.
[01:37:10] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
[01:37:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's what, well, it floated until it didn't.
[01:37:15] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why I had you do this instead.
[01:37:17] [SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know.
[01:37:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know from anything.
[01:37:18] [SPEAKER_04]: So I appreciate it.
[01:37:20] [SPEAKER_04]: It was very detailed and, and that's the important part about cruises, right?
[01:37:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Because if you've never done one specifically and you go on a cruise,
[01:37:27] [SPEAKER_04]: it is a completely different animal than you ever expect.
[01:37:31] [SPEAKER_04]: There are a lot of rules to it.
[01:37:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And there's just different ways to have a good time and you,
[01:37:36] [SPEAKER_04]: it's, it's a whole different learning experience.
[01:37:39] [SPEAKER_04]: So hopefully this helps somebody at least plan for that and prep for that
[01:37:41] [SPEAKER_04]: because it sounds like the Disney Cruises have a lot more diversity when it comes
[01:37:47] [SPEAKER_04]: to entertainment options.
[01:37:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
[01:37:48] [SPEAKER_04]: So you can actually pick what you want to do.
[01:37:50] [SPEAKER_04]: It sounds like, and then you can, then you can tailor stuff around.
[01:37:54] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what I would never think about.
[01:37:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I go on the Disney Cruise website or have concierge and like,
[01:37:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, I just want to go up here and I don't really, I don't know.
[01:38:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[01:38:02] [SPEAKER_04]: But now you can do some of that groundwork before you call concierge and I'm booked for you.
[01:38:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:38:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:38:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It's impossible not to have a good time on a Disney cruise.
[01:38:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you are, you will enjoy it.
[01:38:15] [SPEAKER_02]: There is, there is things to enjoy and it is impossible to over prepare for it the way that you,
[01:38:25] [SPEAKER_02]: the way that sometimes people get really, I myself included obsessive and over prepared
[01:38:30] [SPEAKER_02]: for the parks because you don't, you don't have access to a lot of the information until
[01:38:34] [SPEAKER_02]: day that you get on the ship.
[01:38:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Like you literally don't, you don't know when trivia is going to be until the day
[01:38:42] [SPEAKER_02]: you get on the ship.
[01:38:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And so you can't go, Hey, I need to be at this place, this place, this place.
[01:38:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I need all these things until you get there, which is kind of refreshing coming from a
[01:38:52] [SPEAKER_02]: park's lens where you're like, okay, I know that Dr. Strange's show happens at 2pm.
[01:38:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[01:38:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I know that I have a lightning lane at 1pm.
[01:39:01] [SPEAKER_04]: But also the, the, I think the good part about being self-contained on a cruise
[01:39:05] [SPEAKER_04]: that you don't really need.
[01:39:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not like you need a whole bunch of stuff anyways.
[01:39:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[01:39:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Anything you ever need is on the ship.
[01:39:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[01:39:11] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not a big deal.
[01:39:13] [SPEAKER_04]: So have fun.
[01:39:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Alrighty, buddy.
[01:39:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you very much for tuning in.
[01:39:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate it.
[01:39:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And until next time, let's see in the parks.
[01:39:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Jesus Christ scared the shit out of me.
[01:39:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Thanks P for the bitties baby.
[01:39:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I gotta figure out how to turn that down.
[01:39:31] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[01:39:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I got a lot of work to do.
[01:39:33] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, buddy.
[01:39:33] [SPEAKER_04]: See you guys.
