[00:00:00] It's time for the show that brings the magic right to your speakers EarzUp!

[00:00:12] Hey, what's going on everybody? EarzUp Podcast and apparently it's Twin Day because Eric and I are wearing the same exact shirt. We are both fine. Thanks.

[00:00:22] I love it. I'm proud of you guys. Thanks man. Bye! Thanks. That's great. Yeah well, Eric is being a poser because I probably put it on first.

[00:00:32] I don't know. I do live in a different time zone. It's slightly in the future. I mean that's probably true man. That's probably true.

[00:00:42] What's up everybody? Happy to be here with you. Today's show is basically about big hard hitting news. We don't have in depth anymore.

[00:00:50] I didn't love the commercial. I'll do that on the break. We don't have in depth anymore. There's no outlet for these big large news stories that have been hitting.

[00:01:03] And quite frankly, Disney has been really terrible at releasing good news. There's no good news out about Disney. There are several shows in a row where Jeremy and I are like I really have no idea.

[00:01:13] There's one play in the bathroom now. Specifically, there's no good news. That was also hard to. There was a string of just nothing positive coming out.

[00:01:26] And so I think that our personalities sort of hyper fixated on that if you will. But today is a little mixed bag baby we got some good news. We got some weird news and we got some news.

[00:01:41] Excuse me to take care of that. I don't know if it's good or not. It's up to you depends on what you want to do. It's like an episode of Black Mirror.

[00:01:49] Oh, so you don't mean me. Not you. Well, I mean it couldn't. It could mean you. I don't know. Do you want to mean you? I don't know. It sounds kind of intense. Yeah, I like that. You like watched Black Mirror. Like you haven't even finished the show, but you always use it as a reference point and you don't like it.

[00:02:06] Right, because it's it's funny to me. It's like, oh yeah. You know, what if your mate was your girlfriend and also was what if your dog had Wi-Fi kind of thing?

[00:02:18] It's like, oh man, that's so wild and crazy. I love that. I love the concept. What ifs are cool. That's like my whole life is a what if that's why I but they weren't creative. What ifs do you know what I mean? They were just like, I don't know. It's like what if what if you know you're you put your shoes on your hands.

[00:02:34] Whoa, wow. Everyone look out. Crazy time. And it's just an hour and a half of people wearing shoes on their hands and can't open the doors. This is like what that what else going on with me have designed different doors. I mean when did the shoes thing happen? Well, I guess this is why you got to watch that

[00:02:51] I'm so behind. Yeah, that's all right man. I can't find my read man. I sent Sully my John and I didn't I can't find it. Oh, that was for this show? Yeah. Oh, I didn't realize that. So I have to read some stuff. Oh cool. You got a full on commercial. Yeah, listen to it. Okay. Okay. All right. Let's do a commercial. Won't we?

[00:03:18] Summer is just around the corner and our friends at the 21st Amendment brewery are welcoming the warmer weather with open arms and a refreshing favorite hell or high watermelon wheat.

[00:03:31] Picture this a sunny day, a smell of barbecue in the air and a cold crisp hell or high watermelon in your hand. It's the ultimate summertime companion perfect for those unforgettable gatherings with friends and family.

[00:03:45] But what makes hell or high watermelon so special? It's not just its bright straw color or tight white bubble. No, it's the subtle blend of wheat beer with the hint of sweet biscuit and a kiss of juicy watermelon that sets it apart from the rest with its refreshing flavor and delightful light fruit notes. Hell or high watermelon is bound to become your go to summer beer and at just 4.9% ABV you can enjoy it all day long without missing a beat.

[00:04:12] So when you're looking for that perfect beverage to compliment those sunny days and backyard barbecue look no further than hell or high watermelon wheat. Find it wherever great craft beer is sold and make this summer one to remember.

[00:04:29] There you go. Thank you to Sully everybody. Good job. I love that commercial. Thanks, man. Okay. I want to say we get into news but let's introduce Terence friend Nicole and Nicole. What's up dude?

[00:04:42] Oh God, that was an awful sound. Yeah. Hey guys, how's it going? That was welcome Nicole.

[00:04:48] Now listeners of this show will wonder why we have a second another body in this studio and Nicole tested and everything like that so that's why she's able to come hang out with us. So we appreciate it. Nicole Nicole how long have you been friends with Terence my lovely wife.

[00:05:04] I don't know like 25 years. 26. 25 26 years. What's the most embarrassing story that you can tell on a family podcast.

[00:05:19] I have to come back to me for that one. Okay, okay, I can do that. But before you pass the mic over and make that awesome squeaking sound again. You were just in the parks right you went with your parents.

[00:05:30] Parents went with an uncle and I was the I won't tell me age child. The older child. They know how old I am. Oh man. Yeah, you're good. So now.

[00:05:41] Okay, all right. And you hadn't been since like elementary school. Like you don't even remember the last time. Don't remember the last time. So I want to get your insight every now and then on some of the stuff we talk about perhaps and maybe I'll forget. I don't know but overall how was it as an adult with your obviously adult parents.

[00:05:57] How is that going to a park for children? How do you feel about yourself?

[00:06:02] A little weird with the old folks did a lot of single writer lines.

[00:06:08] I don't know my parents and the aunt uncle wanted to wait in line so I single writer thing.

[00:06:15] So they wanted to wait in like the normie walk on and you were like, I don't want to do that. I'm going to go single writer.

[00:06:20] Well, I mean it was for them. And I'm the fifth. So I was going to be a single writer anyways.

[00:06:26] So that's great. Why not?

[00:06:29] Road space mountain like six times. I don't know. So what's the time differential between you going and getting the single writer where you done before they were and if so how many minutes apart because I feel like this is good data for us to collect.

[00:06:42] So space mountains probably like I said six times so maybe like hour and a half probably online.

[00:06:52] Can't remember the other rights. Lincoln right now. Oh cars.

[00:06:56] Okay, well, so space mountain they were in line for an hour and a half. How long were you in line? You rode six times.

[00:07:01] First time got on within five minutes.

[00:07:03] You rode you rode space mountain six times before they rode one. Oh, yeah.

[00:07:10] Oh, man. That's great.

[00:07:12] So there's a lot of power out outages over there in California. I was California. Is that were cars? I don't know where all the things are. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:07:20] There are so many power to just so like we happen to be in lines or like passing when they opened.

[00:07:25] So I got on cars within five minutes too. And they were in line again for like another hour and a half. I rode it like three times.

[00:07:33] Damn, I love it. Great. And then so I just love the fact where it's like you're basically going as a teenager also because I feel like that's what teenagers. Yeah, I'm just gonna do we're gonna do single writer line mom and dad. It's fine.

[00:07:47] Yeah, I don't need experience with them. Like I said, yeah, going by myself anyway is with the like the other family that's like, hey, where does that?

[00:07:55] Well, I think about myself. The coolest thing I heard I overheard you telling a story. Maybe maybe you're telling me I don't really know.

[00:08:01] The coolest part about your parents or maybe the attention point I suppose is that you're a foodie. You like to eat food. Your big food person and your dad's supposedly a great cook.

[00:08:14] But what how did they address eating in the parks? Please explain that to me. You know, a little backpack, a little, a little hotel grilled cheese sandwich.

[00:08:30] So you're telling Taren that they hit the breakfast buffet at the hotel and loaded up with goodies in a kutramol. And then just like eight basically like a road burrito. Yeah.

[00:08:41] And you're like, dude, I want to eat food. Like I want to try the food here. What's going on? But you guys are making weird sandwiches out of backpack food.

[00:08:50] Yeah, I had to go. I don't know what I did. I had a euro, I think somewhere.

[00:08:55] Oh, the Ranto rap probably in Star Wars land. Marble. Oh okay, you have the Sorma. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:09:05] Is that good? I heard it's great. It's all right. Okay. Okay. All right. In fairness, I heard it was great from Beth and she likes Taco Bell. So.

[00:09:14] And I do not there's a comparison there. There we go. All right. So we got a foodie here. We go.

[00:09:19] That's really great. I think that sounds cool. And your parents are very eclectic. It sounds like. Yeah. I just I love the fact in my mind,

[00:09:29] I picture your dad whom I've never met. Just taking have I? Oh, who cares? Doesn't know. You're not on the microphone. So there's no reason to talk.

[00:09:41] Um, like unfolding a napkin and like scooping eggs into the napkin and like rolling it up like he's a like a hobbit on a track, you know.

[00:09:50] You know, just take that plastic bag to the face. Yeah. Throw him in the first. Tell me your mom like, oh, Mr. Frodo, it's too heavy. Let me share the burdenings eating the scrambled eggs online for a ride.

[00:10:01] As somebody who does know this man, that is exactly what would have happened though. Like 100% he probably brought like containers for this purpose.

[00:10:11] I love it. I love it. I think that's great. Oh my God. Be one of those people who brings little Tupperwares specifically to load up in the buffet line and then you're snacking on powdered eggs or whatever.

[00:10:24] I kind of love that idea. It's got a fun. Yeah. All right. Well, thank you very much. Nicole. I know you didn't want to talk to the microphone. That's why I started with you.

[00:10:33] Great. I love it. All right. You're an attainment. Give the microphone back to Terry before she tries to talk with her.

[00:10:40] Going that way. Nothing there you go. The sign. All right. Well, let's dig into it. Home. What do you think? A little bit of news. Let's first up today for the news.

[00:10:51] We have an announcement from the Disney company regarding the latest batch of Disney legends to be inducted into the Hall of Halls of the company's history renowned host Ryan C.

[00:11:02] Chris will present the awards to incredible visionaries and talent at the forefront of their fields, including Colleen Atwood, Angela Bassett, Martha Blanding, James L Brooks, James Cameron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Miley Cyrus, Steve Ditko, Harrison Ford, Mark Hen, Frank Oz, Kelly Ripa, Joe Rody, and John Williams.

[00:11:24] Now, I don't know about you guys, but I'm only familiar with a few of these people. It's always fun to learn new things, I guess. So I sort of went through everybody and see what they did. What's their CV like?

[00:11:34] Okay. Colleen Atwood. And I'm not going to go through everybody because who cares. But Colleen Atwood Colleen Atwood is a costume designer and she designed costumes for Edward Cesar hands.

[00:11:46] And I guess that was her first pairing with Tim Burton. And she's done like 12, like 12 Tim Burton movies since then. Oh wow. Yeah, she's like his go to whatever.

[00:11:57] Also, I'm fairly certain that that was Ryan's mom in the OC, not the actress but Colleen Atwood. I believe that was her name just very important.

[00:12:08] I don't know what that means. The show, the OC one of my three favorite shows ever. Yeah, it's been a bit. Is she an actress? No, no, the character's name is Colleen Atwood.

[00:12:19] Good. Okay. So relevant to this conversation. Okay. Great. She also did the costume design for Dumbo and Alice remix.

[00:12:27] Oh, those were good costumes. Not good movies but good costumes. She did the costume for the upcoming Beetlejuice sequel, which I have seen the trailer for.

[00:12:36] I am hyper excited about it except I wish that Jenna or Tegga or whatever her name is wasn't in it. Is not her name? That's her name. Yeah. I don't like her.

[00:12:45] But you have no reason to not. I do because I didn't like her in Wednesday and we stopped watching that show because of her only because of her. I don't like her. I just I wish she wasn't there.

[00:12:55] I just stopped watching it because of her. I thought you stopped watching because you just didn't like the show because of her. Oh, yeah. All right. She did the lady in the tramp remake costumes.

[00:13:05] She did a little mermaid costumes. Did any of those recent ones have great costume? I don't know. Did they maybe I never saw them. If you designed the costumes for Edward Siserhands though, like that's enough. It's pretty good. Like you did it. You you're a legend.

[00:13:22] I don't know. I guess maybe who knows? She's been nominated for Academy Award 12 times, but no wins. Well, they got to me sucks. Well, I'm sorry. I like my Disney Legends to be award winners. So I feel like that's not very good.

[00:13:37] We go dig and she probably wants something, you know, Dr. Trophy. She did. She wanted. She's won awards but not Academy Awards. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Nominated is never awarded. Yeah. Martha Blanding. She helped put the happy and the happiest place on earth as the first permanent full time black tour guide.

[00:13:55] Martha personified the philosophy of creating happiness for others while embodying the principles of hospitality and courtesy. Well, Disney sought to establish for Disneyland cast members. You can tell I wrote this.

[00:14:05] Once hired as a tour guide, she quickly climbed the ladder to become a VIP hostess. She worked the champagne room, I guess. Martha later became the first ever black woman in management at Disneyland as an expert merchandise candy and film buyer for 16 years and later became the senior manager of Disneyland resort merchandise special events.

[00:14:24] She did a much other stuff but yeah, it's pretty cool. She was the first long career. Yeah, she was the first black cast member to commemorate 50 years with Disneyland Resort.

[00:14:34] 50. Yeah, that is a lot of years. Yeah, dude, that is a longer. Um, let's see who else did I want it? Oh James Brooks. Uh, apparently he wrote uh, taxi or he created taxi that series.

[00:14:51] Um, he his production company. He found a Gracie films which does the Simpsons and uh, yeah, a bunch of other stuff. So I don't know. I guess like James old Brooks need to be a Disney legend. It's kind of one of those like, you know, they bought the IP and therefore now he's like famous in the other.

[00:15:13] I don't know. Yeah, I was going to say it's like the Star Wars and Marvel stuff. They bought the IP and I mean James old Brooks is huge for, for the Simpsons and so many other TV series before that. I mean he is a legend. And now I guess he works for Disney. So yeah, I guess so. I don't know. I just always found that weird. It's like what have you done for Disney? Nothing. So why are you a Disney legend? It seems weird. I don't know. It's like, uh, yeah, I don't know whatever it is. Uh, James Cameron everybody knows James Cameron done so that's fine.

[00:15:42] Jamie the Curtis of course, you know, huge Disney person and seems like a nice person in general. Miley Cyrus sort of threw me for a second.

[00:15:50] Um, I guess, you know, she did Hannah Montana and that was pretty influential. It's a pretty big show for the Disney Channel apparently premiered in March 2006 just to make you feel old to the largest audience for a Disney Channel original series with an average of 4.4 million viewers per episode.

[00:16:08] A 2007 episode of that series still ranks as the highest rated basic cable series telecast ever with almost 11 million total viewers. I think it's wild.

[00:16:20] People used to all watch the same thing. Yes. Oh, that is true. There were less options. Yeah, exactly.

[00:16:27] Anyway, so there you go. God bless her. Good job. She's been through a lot and she's doing great. You know, so what are you going to do?

[00:16:33] God Steve Ditko. He's a Marvel comics artist and, uh, you know, he created a bunch of characters. Are he re-envisioned many of Marvel's iconic characters. He redesigned Iron Man's armor into the popular red and gold design.

[00:16:46] And in the Hulk comics, he codified Bruce Banner's transformations to be a function of his anger. He worked on Dr. Strange. He did a bunch of stuff. So there you go. Good job.

[00:16:56] Harrison Ford. Of course, everybody knows Harrison Ford. Mark time. Yeah, sure. That's a good one. Mark He served as the supervising animated for young Simba as well as five female leads more than any artist in the history of the studio.

[00:17:12] Ariel Bell. Jasmine Mulan and Tiana. He supervised animation for all those. So big influence or everything from big hero six to Ralph breaks the internet.

[00:17:23] Just a Frank Oz don't even get me started man. That guy's awesome. Yeah, of course. Um, but what I don't understand and this is where I'll end it. Kelly Ripa.

[00:17:36] ABC. Yeah. She's enormous. I don't know the it starts with Kelly Ripa is one of the most powerful voices in media. I forgot she was alive until I saw this.

[00:17:49] I don't understand. I don't think she's one of the most powerful voices anything. You're not a boomer. A woman.

[00:17:56] I have. There you go. Because my mom traveled to Vegas wore a mask for like six days just to see Kelly Ripa. She loves her. Absolutely. Well, whatever she didn't really go for six days, but I was exaggerating because it.

[00:18:14] But yeah, people love Kelly Ripa. Absolutely. Okay. I don't know if she deserves to be a Disney legend because I don't think she's only done the one thing she has.

[00:18:25] That's what I understand. It's, it's you know, ABC. Yeah, but it's the same with the other one that you said before that. Well, no, she doesn't deserve it at all. Um, I hate her so much.

[00:18:42] There was some of the other things that broke, you know, like, oh yeah, they're property. Yeah. It's ABC.

[00:18:48] So the one that you were talking about like Dr. String, maybe that was it. I don't know. Anyway, Disney buys all this stuff so they have to expand and make all these things legends. Otherwise what's the point of doing it? I guess.

[00:19:00] I mean, yeah, sure. But I think with Kelly Ripa and ABC, I don't know why I don't know. I mean, I'm never going to get my answer. It just doesn't make sense to me.

[00:19:09] I get it from a brand umbrella standpoint, you know, the company owns these things and you have to select and highlight the people that are within there. Right?

[00:19:20] I mean, I think it's weird because I think of a Disney legend as someone who works at the Disney company making movies or at the parks or some influence in that sphere. Not the not the spin off of ABC. Not like a medium mogul. Yeah, not not someone who interviews people. Yeah.

[00:19:37] I just don't really, I don't know. You know what I mean? You don't strive to be a Disney legend. I didn't say that. I was joking to interview people. Yeah. I know.

[00:19:45] I'm just saying that's a big question. I'm just saying that's a big question. I'm just saying that's a big question. Yeah. I mean, I'm not going to get my answer. Thank you. Yeah. Weird stuff. Weird stuff happening at the Disney company, which is, you know, not out of the realm of reality.

[00:19:58] I think this class seems a little more relevant than some previous years.

[00:20:02] I would agree. I'm not angry. Yeah. For sure. For sure. I forget who was on it last year. But it was bad.

[00:20:10] I think like what is happening? I think it was a lot of TV people and wasn't it like a Broadway person or something. I kind of forget now, which maybe

[00:20:17] is a bad. I know he was there, but he also actually kind of deserves it. Yeah. Yeah. At least he's been in a Disney movie, right? That's kind of my point. Yeah. It's kind of weird. I don't know.

[00:20:31] Valet at ABC studio in 20 years is going to get a Disney legend. It's been there for 50 years. He deserves it.

[00:20:38] Let's talk a little D 23. That was announced recently. The dates are August 9, 10 and 11th in Anaheim of course.

[00:20:47] And I think Eric correctly if I'm wrong, but this is like the big one, right? They cornered the sort of alternate with like sort of boring stuff, which was last year.

[00:20:55] And then now this one is going to supposedly going to be where all the major stuff is announced, right? Yeah. Last year was destination D. That was the quick one,

[00:21:03] where sometimes they throw out a few really, really strong things. But last year was the year of the concept art. And this year we hope it's going to be more

[00:21:14] because they moved everybody to the Honda Center for the big stuff. Oh wow. That's huge. And then were the ducks loose I think. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. They used to be the pond. Now it's the Honda Center. So there's a lot going on at

[00:21:28] at the convention center like usual, but they are shuttling people over to the Honda Center for some of the big events. The really big stuff.

[00:21:38] So from what I hear you actually get you actually get like by assigned seating. So you're not waiting for seven hours. You're not waiting all day just to see the parts panel.

[00:21:49] Okay. You're buying your seats and because of what it is, I haven't looked into it too much myself. But from what I was told earlier this week, you there are some like VIP areas that cost ridiculous amounts like to to grand a seat where you can be up front.

[00:22:08] And up front, you count the leg hairs of daddy jobs. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You'll catch a little bit of his spit once in a while and you can rub it on your face and never wash it again.

[00:22:21] It's great for your pores. Yeah. Right. But most of the smells awesome too. Oh man.

[00:22:27] But the rest of the seating is pretty good because I mean, it's not a huge. It's a hockey place. It's it's not enormous. You can see pretty well. The way the stage seems to be set up. So there.

[00:22:40] It's more space than they've ever had, but it's probably easier to see everything and everybody can kind of get in there without too much inconvenience. Yeah. And you know what I like about I'm assuming they're going to be streaming some of this, which the place is already littered with cameras.

[00:22:53] Anyway, they get the good angles. I think that's going to be a lot better for everybody. Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. RGH is hassling me in the chat and he says all of Frank Oz's work has been acquired.

[00:23:06] That's who I was thinking of when I had brought it up. Yeah. But it doesn't that doesn't matter. But it's the same as ABC as having them up it. They bought them up. It's now he's a Disney legend. How is it different?

[00:23:18] Because Frank Oz is cool. Okay, and he's done stuff for Disney. Well, Kelly Ripa has done the candlelight procession. All I think I don't like that either.

[00:23:31] Disney fans around the world will once again gather in anaheim, California for a D 23 the ultimate Disney fan event presented by visa. What a kind experience showcasing the unparalleled storytelling and innovation from across the Walt Disney company and ABC.

[00:23:51] Let's see, it's going to be expansive and more immersive than ever before Eric offering stands like you access to more of what you love from across the world of Disney at an amazing value. Can you imagine that? This is the literal second sentence in this announcement of D 23 is the amazing value that it's providing you push that push that agenda. Everything's valuable.

[00:24:16] Oh, man. Okay, I really hope that they are streaming some of this. This is going to be I would love that highlight of what's new three nights of marquee showcases the Honda Center D 23 day angel stadium on Sunday August 4th.

[00:24:29] So if you're in town, I guess by tickets is that baseball time baseball time start soon, I guess right. Opening day was today. Oh, there you go. Yeah. So get your rest in D 23 day. Disney and resort on Thursday August 8th.

[00:24:43] The largest most expansive show floor in D 23 history. I don't know what that means, but let's go for it. I would say that's like an expo expanded shopping experience and then sweepstakes, which is the biggest sweepstakes in Disney history.

[00:24:59] They're going to be. There you go. They're going to begin with a lot of stuff away. So okay, Thursday August 8th is D 23 day at Disneyland resort.

[00:25:08] And let's see, you can kick off the weekends festivities at the first ever D 23 day at Disney and resort on Thursday August 8th.

[00:25:17] Both Disneyland Park and California venture will welcome ticketed D 23 fans from rope drop to late night featuring unique offerings for fans, including a custom cavalcade.

[00:25:28] Oh, I don't know what that is. What is that? Something something you would say to me, cavalcade is a short parade basically a custom cavalcade.

[00:25:36] Oh, like specifically for D 23. I guess right, right. It's like you each get your own. That's what I was like, you get a cavalcade and you get a cavalcade. You are a cavalcade.

[00:25:46] An energetic dance party, which again, I love the term of energetic dance party. Special photo opportunities and more.

[00:25:56] And I think I have some Disney junior stuff going on Sunday, August 4th in downtown Disney. You're going to find special offers, decor and magical moments. I love finding a magical moment here and there. It's fun. It's good time.

[00:26:09] Let's see at the Honda Center. They're going to do a lot of stuff. I think of a Disney entertainment showcase, which is Friday, August 9th at 7 p.m.,

[00:26:18] a glimpse into what to look forward to from film television stream services, live stage, all that kind of stuff. Disney experiences showcase Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Honda Center. That's with Josh tomorrow. This is the headline, the marquee, which is the special showcase featuring the latest on new and highly anticipated projects and development around the world for Disney parks experiences and beyond.

[00:26:43] So I bet we're going to hear more about Disney and forward in this. Yeah, that's what I've been waiting for you to say is like, where's the part where they talk about everything that they're going to be doing in the parks? That's the only part of care about it.

[00:26:56] That's probably it. I would guess. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, assuming everything gets voted on approved. When is that? Well, I think we're talking about that later.

[00:27:05] I have a question here happening. Yeah, maybe what? Okay. And I maybe I've asked this before, but Disney forward as a term.

[00:27:14] Disneyland forward. Yes. Disneyland forward. Is that a specific thing like when they bought that parking lot or whatever across the street? Or is that their term for doing something at the park?

[00:27:24] That is the project. Okay. So all of the expansion that's happening. Yeah, it's that's all the Disneyland forward project. So it's like what's happening in the parks for the next 60 years is the plan.

[00:27:34] For the for the parks. Every expansion everything that's happening there that's going to be happening moving forward.

[00:27:41] Falls under that umbrella term of Disneyland forward. It's a project. It's not specific. I mean, it's specific to like.

[00:27:48] It's not one thing where you go Disneyland forward. Oh, you mean when they did Ralph Brennan or whatever? It's it's it's everything. That's just so that it's their marketing a term for expansion or changes.

[00:28:01] Sure. Okay. Yeah, rezoning all the exciting stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Man. I don't know if I like that but I'm going to try and be positive about it. It's great. I think it's fine. I think everything is okay.

[00:28:13] Here's a fun just a fun story. Just a light assault and that's fine. Man arrested after forcefully snatching Mickey ears from woman's head at Disney World.

[00:28:24] A tourist visiting magic kingdom was arrested after quote forcefully snatching Mickey ears from a woman's head because he thought the hat belonged to his daughter.

[00:28:35] Man was from Illinois was arrested on December 14 according to the affidavit. The woman told deputies she was getting off of a ride at magic kingdom with her child.

[00:28:46] And husband when she heard a man yelling behind her the woman said she didn't realize he was yelling at her when he snatched the hat from her head.

[00:28:56] The woman said she bought the hat a few years ago at an outlet store but the man argued that it belonged to his daughter.

[00:29:02] The man told deputies he got off a ride with his daughter who asked to return to the Buzz Lightyear attraction because she thought she left her Mickey ears there.

[00:29:10] Back to the ride when the man said he noticed the woman wearing the same style hat as the one his daughter lost. Whoa. Wow, that's so weird Kevin the Callister off face.

[00:29:20] I mean if she got it several years ago which is the same thing it of course there's probably 10 people walking her that same hat on.

[00:29:28] He snatched all of them. Yeah, I want to see the hat. I want to see how unique it is. I know right.

[00:29:33] The man snatched the hat off the woman's head before her husband intervened.

[00:29:38] And that's it security was contacted the tourists was arrested on account of robbery by sudden snatching.

[00:29:45] Wow, yeah, no, that was a thing specific Florida. Yeah, sudden snatching.

[00:29:51] It's almost like you know energetic dancing.

[00:29:57] It is a double that's saying the same thing twice. It's a little weird.

[00:30:02] It's a little it's fine. It's in the police code. It's an 1139.

[00:30:06] I really do want to see the hat though because I want to understand if it's pretty unique then I kind of might stand by this dad.

[00:30:12] And no, then you then you don't snatch it yet. Yes, that is true.

[00:30:17] If you're in a cosplaying real fast going back to D23 you can go enter the mouse parade which is the ultimate Disney costume contest that's going to be taking place at D23 as well.

[00:30:27] You go to mouse parade good luck spelling that dot D23 dot com and enter inner to win man, inner today do do all this stuff man.

[00:30:36] Yeah, that's what's happening.

[00:30:40] Okay, what to do Nessie. I do have a portion of this that need to share screens with this is going to be some art being shown and you know whatever so we're going to wait on those parts and we're going to get right into this weird part Disney and Ron DeSantis.

[00:30:55] Oh no, my light felt even my light didn't want to participate in this.

[00:31:00] Like, oh my God, meatball Ron. I don't want to talk about meatball wrong.

[00:31:05] You know what guys you guys know what's been going on back and forth.

[00:31:10] DeSantis is suing Disney and Disney is suing DeSantis and they're all suing each other and it's all fun.

[00:31:15] Well a little bit of that has as wound up and gotten tidy up in courts recently actually a special district board selected by governor Ron DeSantis that oversees the Walt Disney company's Florida theme park properties settled its litigation with a company today.

[00:31:29] It was March 27th. So what yesterday? Hell yeah, the deal this deal in the long and bitter battle between the mouse house and the failed GOP presidential contender.

[00:31:41] Wow, that's just new.

[00:31:43] Oh no comes just days before a hotly contested shareholder vote for Disney and CEO Bob Iger the legal actions between Disney and DeSantis over the past year and a half have become quite personal with Iger at one point chastising Florida governor for being anti-voting.

[00:31:58] That seems all to be in the rear view mirror now quote we are pleased to put an end to all litigation pending in state court in Florida between Disney and the central Florida tourism oversight district Jeff Vail president of Walt Disney resort said and a statement quote this agreement opens a new chapter of constructive engagement with the new leadership of the district and serves the interest of all parties by enabling significant continued investment and the creation of thousands of direct in the world.

[00:32:27] The settlement does not apply to the federal litigation that the company has against the Santis over his move to strip company of control over the theme park district.

[00:32:43] As part of this settlement Disney has agreed to set aside a set of development agreements it entered into with the special whatever basically right before dissantis kicked everybody out and took over the reedy creek district past some sort of regulation saying that like the company has more power than it did before in dissantist freaked out about that.

[00:33:04] And so that's nullified and I guess dissantist appointed somebody who is kind of pro Disney to overseeing some aspect of park development or whatever.

[00:33:15] So people are saying it's kind of like a win for Disney.

[00:33:18] It's a very big concession on dissantist part.

[00:33:22] Interesting. Okay.

[00:33:24] But we no longer have any part of any part of the we don't have the fun part of all of this where Disney created the rule that said by the way we have the power forever until King Charles is the last of King Charles is direct great great great grandchild's at home finally falls into the sun.

[00:33:47] And I'm sad that we won't have it.

[00:33:49] Oh well.

[00:33:51] So speaking of voting, speaking of the board, speaking of a company in general I am I have already voted on this as a shareholder five point two eight percent shareholder.

[00:34:08] To kick Bob Iger's butt to the curb tick is keyster out of here and bring on Nelson Peltz.

[00:34:13] I mean, we need some fresh faces whatever he has gone on a record saying a couple things but one he says that he supports Iger but he wants the board gone.

[00:34:23] And I'm like, okay fine.

[00:34:25] I'll still support Nelson Peltz that's fine.

[00:34:27] The board can go to the board compound sand.

[00:34:29] I don't really care.

[00:34:30] But recently in variety.

[00:34:35] Nelson Peltz decided to put his foot in his mouth and lose my sponsorship first of now I'm upset with him.

[00:34:41] Yeah, Nelson Peltz who's the activist investor agitating to win two Disney board seats criticized the company's woke strategy specifically questioning Marvel's black Panther and the marvels which featured black and women leads respectively.

[00:34:58] The 81 year old Peltz who has admitted he never claimed to have experience in the media business made the comments about the marvels and black Panther in a recent interview with the financial times quote.

[00:35:09] Why do I have to have a Marvel movie that's all women?

[00:35:13] Not that I have anything against women, but why do I have to do that? Why can't I have marvels that are both?

[00:35:20] Why do I need an all black cast?

[00:35:22] Oh boy.

[00:35:23] Yeah.

[00:35:24] Peltz.

[00:35:25] Hey, king dipshit.

[00:35:27] Peltz you are now everybody's good list.

[00:35:30] So and then the very this isn't variety the very next sentence black Panther does not have an all black cast nor does the marvels have an all female cast.

[00:35:40] So I don't even think this guy has seen any of these movies.

[00:35:43] No, he just heard about it.

[00:35:44] But it also doesn't even matter like it's even it's almost worse if he hasn't.

[00:35:48] It's just worse.

[00:35:50] It's all it's all bad.

[00:35:51] Yeah.

[00:35:52] Well, and then they say like black Panther was a bona fide blockbuster reaping 1.35 billion at the worldwide box office.

[00:36:01] And then Marvels was a flop.

[00:36:03] Yeah, you might have a point.

[00:36:06] I'm just saying no, but it's like that's why that's not why you have to have it.

[00:36:12] But if you want to take over our company, at least understand the product that they're making and and shut up even if you feel that way.

[00:36:20] Shut up.

[00:36:21] It doesn't shut up, but also like yes, I agree.

[00:36:25] And also the fact that he thinks a women cast or a person of color cast is considered woke is in and of itself like dude.

[00:36:37] Yeah, got to go like your 81 you're two.

[00:36:41] I'm sorry, but you're too old for this just like, you know, all of our presidential nominees like y'all are too old.

[00:36:47] He cooked himself.

[00:36:49] This one absolutely and I want I wish I could take my vote back.

[00:36:52] Yeah, oh yeah, you're here on the dirty side of history now.

[00:36:56] Well, it's not going to pass any.

[00:36:58] I go speaking last fall, the New York Times deal book summit acknowledged that Disney productions should focus on storytelling rather than advocating particular agendas.

[00:37:09] Quote creators lost sight of what their number one objective needed to be we have to entertain first.

[00:37:15] It's not about messages, I guess said.

[00:37:18] On that point, Pelt said in the financial times interview quote people go to watch a movie or show to be entertained they don't go to get a message which is bull crap because the the movement that

[00:37:30] black Americans and black people worldwide had behind black Panther because it was a specific type of character that reflected them.

[00:37:43] You can't you can't create you can't just craft that with an agenda.

[00:37:48] That's an organic thing, right?

[00:37:51] Because not to mention they didn't Disney didn't make that character up.

[00:37:54] It's not like they invented a black character to push an agenda black panthers been around.

[00:37:58] Right? And I guarantee if you tried to craft that, you would do it wrong.

[00:38:01] Oh, you fail spectacularly absolutely.

[00:38:05] But like that's what even I got right here when he's saying like creators have lost sight of what their number one objective needs to be black panthers made over a billion dollars.

[00:38:14] You wrinkled jerk.

[00:38:16] Like, of course, what are you talking about?

[00:38:18] This is what I don't understand these people are out of touch with what and I said this millions of times about I get.

[00:38:24] He is out of touch with what people actually want out of this company.

[00:38:28] It doesn't people we don't care do not care if the agenda and you can call it an agenda.

[00:38:35] If it takes over the story takes place of a story, then that's one thing.

[00:38:39] But you could say that anything could take place of a story if the story is bad.

[00:38:43] If the story is bad like in the marvels which I didn't see but clearly the box office backs me up they barely made 200 million dollars in box office right?

[00:38:51] That story I heard was very fractured it was not very good.

[00:38:54] The acting wasn't very good.

[00:38:55] It doesn't have anything to do with the women being cast.

[00:38:58] It's just the writing was bad.

[00:38:59] Yeah.

[00:39:00] So I think when you're pumping out a lot of these superhero movies, you're going to get bad writing whoever's in charge of the cast whoever's on the cast is going to be screwed basically.

[00:39:10] You need to have better writing and then you can and then you then just cast for the story.

[00:39:16] But the people in charge need to not go back on the record and say you these people in the past did a poor job because they pushed an agenda when that's not the case.

[00:39:28] Right.

[00:39:29] Well, and just just to your point about the writing versus the acting all of those women were in their own shows and they did a good job minus that one.

[00:39:39] I'd be large.

[00:39:40] I didn't see it.

[00:39:41] But now I haven't seen it.

[00:39:43] You've seen let me take Umber just the person that has seen all of the things.

[00:39:46] Please do.

[00:39:47] Whoa, whoa, whoa.

[00:39:48] We have a bona fide expert on the show.

[00:39:50] Hang on hang on hang on.

[00:39:52] I might not have a Marvel themed podcast.

[00:39:55] Please listen to Puna pod on the years up network.

[00:39:58] They'll get to the Marvel's six years from now.

[00:40:01] And but I mean, the story.

[00:40:06] I think it's something that I've heard.

[00:40:08] Well, I've had this discussion with David and Ryan about personally.

[00:40:12] I don't know if I think they've said similar things on the show.

[00:40:15] It all starts to blend together when you listen to a show with people who are your friends.

[00:40:19] Yeah.

[00:40:20] But the stories that have happened lately are stories that appeal that are in some ways.

[00:40:28] They're not they're not even designed for every single person anymore because what.

[00:40:33] I'm not sure they know how to make a giant blockbuster like because you're trying to.

[00:40:39] If you try to make the giant blockbuster, it's not going to work.

[00:40:42] They've tried to do that at times.

[00:40:44] Now they're going to go with hey, we've got these three characters.

[00:40:47] We've got a story we can put together.

[00:40:49] Let's tell a fun story and the nerds are going to like it.

[00:40:52] And maybe we can rebuild from the start.

[00:40:54] Maybe we can get that momentum going like we had back in the day when we had just.

[00:40:58] Captain America Thor and Ironman.

[00:41:01] And then suddenly, suddenly 10 years later, everybody's in a, you know, frothing at the mouth looking for for the Avengers.

[00:41:09] It takes time to build these things because of the story.

[00:41:12] You're right.

[00:41:13] Black Panther isn't a new story.

[00:41:14] They added they added new elements because of the way the MCU had developed and but yeah, that you're right.

[00:41:22] There weren't trying to prove anything other than maybe that maybe there's a little bit of a.

[00:41:28] A whole bunch of people are going to go see a movie that is that doesn't have like the main character isn't white.

[00:41:35] Right.

[00:41:36] Like this is a superhero movie.

[00:41:37] Maybe it was a risk.

[00:41:38] I think by the time they got into that point, they knew it wasn't a risk.

[00:41:41] They were just going like they knew that this was going to be amazing.

[00:41:45] And and we're talking about yeah, Iger.

[00:41:49] Iger isn't.

[00:41:50] Iger's kind of out of touch with this stuff.

[00:41:53] He's listening to the guy who used to head up Marvel, who said once upon a time we don't need to sell girl action figures.

[00:42:03] No one buys those.

[00:42:04] We don't need to we could change the casting of this black character because nobody cares.

[00:42:10] No, we could tell the difference.

[00:42:11] This is like for a mother.

[00:42:13] This is what he said in public out loud.

[00:42:16] Yeah, let's we had a bill cause me let's put Chris rocket.

[00:42:20] I don't want to know.

[00:42:21] Well, it's funny you say that because as the chairman of Marvel,

[00:42:25] Pearl Mudder famously fought Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige over making black Panther and Captain Marvel on the belief that movies with black or women lead characters would not be commercially successful until Iger

[00:42:37] intervened to overrule Pearl Mudder in his 2019 memoir The Ride of a Lifetime.

[00:42:43] Iger describes the tensions that had built up between Feige and the New York office, which is Pearl Mudder.

[00:42:48] He says quote, we had a chance to make a great movie and a showcase an underrepresented segment of America.

[00:42:54] And those goals were not mutually exclusive.

[00:42:57] I called I can told him to tell his team to stop putting up roadblocks in order that we put both black Panther and Captain Marvel into production.

[00:43:04] But then three years later, Iger goes creators lost sight of what their number one objective needed to be.

[00:43:09] We have to entertain it's not about messages.

[00:43:12] So it's only it's only not about messages when that movie makes a billion dollars when it makes 200 million dollars.

[00:43:17] Then it's about messaging and we got to like figure it out.

[00:43:20] But that's exactly that's exactly a perfect representation of Iger where in his previous dent as CEO of Disney.

[00:43:30] Yeah, he was great.

[00:43:32] He did really great things and he was the golden boy.

[00:43:36] It was just when he is as when he came back.

[00:43:39] He's come back now because he left.

[00:43:42] He's wanted to leave for many years and then he got roped back in.

[00:43:47] Got rid of his guy and he got roped back in, but then he kind of likes being back in.

[00:43:53] But I think his personality is different now.

[00:43:56] I thought personality maybe but like his objectives are different.

[00:44:00] He's older.

[00:44:02] Probably a little full of himself more more so now than he was before.

[00:44:06] And it's just his goals.

[00:44:08] Everything is different about him now than it was in his previous term.

[00:44:11] Well, I think especially that generation as they get older, they sort of see things changing and they don't like it.

[00:44:17] They try to make sense of it in a little wrinkled brains and they can't.

[00:44:21] So you probably have people around to go, oh man, can you believe that the black man movie made more than the woman movie?

[00:44:28] And they probably joke about they probably are pitting to underrepresented classes together when they're having cigars and port or whatever, right?

[00:44:36] That's kind of what these people do.

[00:44:38] But I'm also a fan of sizing about that because I really don't like Iger.

[00:44:42] Yeah, it seems like a bit of fun.

[00:44:44] But it also doesn't make any sense to me to like say, oh on the one hand, I stood up for black panther and got it made.

[00:44:50] And then on the other hand, we're losing focus.

[00:44:53] And we shouldn't push agendas.

[00:44:55] But like you fought for it because it represented underrepresented people, which I would say isn't a gentleman.

[00:45:01] That literally isn't agenda at that point if you say that that's your justification.

[00:45:06] It's no longer about the story is about what it means to black America and Dan in the chat says he worked for a movie theater when block panther came out and they would have entire families

[00:45:14] dressed literally in their Sunday best to go see the movie and it was really something special.

[00:45:19] And it's like that's that's the momentum that you.

[00:45:22] Anyway, imagine if that story sucked, if that move is awful, forget about it.

[00:45:27] You're never going to see it again.

[00:45:28] You're never going to see anything like it ever again, but it was good.

[00:45:31] Great. Yeah.

[00:45:32] I don't know.

[00:45:33] Whenever.

[00:45:34] Anyway, Peltz.

[00:45:35] Yeah, I can't do anymore.

[00:45:37] I can't and Iger they both got to go so Joshy tomorrow.

[00:45:40] It's your turn.

[00:45:42] Well, I want Chaypek to come back in.

[00:45:44] That is literally never like that.

[00:45:46] That's the gift that gift of oh, man.

[00:45:49] I just lost it.

[00:45:51] W.W.E.

[00:45:53] Chairman the chairman of W.W.E.

[00:45:55] Oh,

[00:45:57] Mike.

[00:45:58] Marty McFly.

[00:45:59] Vince McMahon.

[00:46:00] Vince McMahon.

[00:46:01] Yeah.

[00:46:02] You know that gift of Vince McMahon.

[00:46:03] He's like strutting.

[00:46:04] Come and do the curtain.

[00:46:05] I want that to be Chaypek just walking around because he left and came back so many times.

[00:46:10] Let's take a quick break.

[00:46:11] Everybody we're going to come back.

[00:46:13] I got some pictures to show you.

[00:46:15] Some stuff to talk about and then we'll wrap things up so hang on to when it's ears up.

[00:46:18] We'll be right back.

[00:46:19] And now back to the show that ignites your dream wish of imaginations and magical color wonderment of forever.

[00:46:30] Ears up.

[00:46:31] Alright, thanks for hanging on everybody.

[00:46:36] Okay, let's talk a little bit about what's coming to the Disneyland resort soon.

[00:46:41] We'll see this as the news I like.

[00:46:43] Yeah, so they have some new characters that have been revealed are going to go into Tiana's

[00:46:48] Bayou adventure, formerly splash mountain rest in peace, rest in pieces.

[00:46:54] Oh smart to call them critters.

[00:46:56] It's a critter country, but it sure is, but is it critter country?

[00:47:00] I believe it's supposed to stay critter country.

[00:47:02] Yeah, really?

[00:47:03] Okay.

[00:47:04] I just I would have a sit.

[00:47:05] Yeah, I don't know.

[00:47:06] I have some I have theming problems with this whole setup, but, but that's you know whatever.

[00:47:12] The Disney blog is, you know boring.

[00:47:14] It's just the Disney blog or whatever they say in the Bayou princess Tiana is getting ready to throw a big party,

[00:47:20] but there's a bit of a mix up between Prince Naveen and Louis.

[00:47:23] Uh oh, the princess suddenly finds herself in need of a band.

[00:47:28] I guess this is the theme of the ride.

[00:47:30] We previously shared that all new Disney characters were being created for this attraction.

[00:47:35] And that's where the critters come in, even with the richest room for your gumbo and the most delicious

[00:47:41] binyes, a true Marty Gras celebration isn't complete without music.

[00:47:46] We'll follow Tiana and Louis into the Bayou in a last minute search for this essential missing

[00:47:50] ingredient for her party musical critters.

[00:47:53] So she wants to hire a band but she can't find musicians smart.

[00:47:57] She's not a very good party planner is what we're learning.

[00:47:59] Well, Louis the big alligator keeps eating them.

[00:48:02] Here's a sneaky snack.

[00:48:04] Well, then the first critter encounter will discover a group of critter music.

[00:48:10] Can we say critter even more by the way?

[00:48:12] Gotta gotta focus on critters because it's critter country.

[00:48:15] Yeah, who are the musical critters?

[00:48:17] Who are the critters in the first critter encounter?

[00:48:19] We'll discover a group of critters.

[00:48:20] How many critters will you critter encounter if your critter counter critter critters?

[00:48:23] Uh, we'll discover a group of critter musicians playing a rendition of one of our favorite songs

[00:48:27] from the princess and the frog gonna take you there.

[00:48:30] This raucous zydeco musical recipe of fiddle accordion washboard and other instrument voices

[00:48:36] will have you singing along as you float down the river under dancing fireflies.

[00:48:41] Please nobody sing along.

[00:48:43] When you're on the ride, please don't sing because everyone wants to hear the ride.

[00:48:47] They just like in the haunted mansion elevator.

[00:48:50] Nobody wants to hear you say along with the with the narrator.

[00:48:53] No, but he wants to hear you scream.

[00:48:56] You was is not you are not the lead character in a movie.

[00:48:59] You know what's so hard is you're absolutely right.

[00:49:02] Thank you.

[00:49:03] But everybody wants to sing like I understand it's like going to a concert.

[00:49:06] It's called self control in public.

[00:49:08] It's like it's a little.

[00:49:10] It's a little different though once your I mean the elevator yes please keep it to yourselves.

[00:49:16] Once you're in the ride, I mean the doom buggies are facing away from you.

[00:49:20] I mean, you're being a log in a different part of the room than other people.

[00:49:24] Maybe it'll work.

[00:49:25] Well, I mean, you know, are you going to fill up the log with everybody in your party or usually you're a mixed bag.

[00:49:32] Nicole, what's your thoughts on public singing?

[00:49:36] I'm fine with it.

[00:49:37] It's like public dancing, right?

[00:49:39] Yeah, but you don't like dancing either.

[00:49:41] I love dancing.

[00:49:42] You don't?

[00:49:43] Yes, I do.

[00:49:46] Oh, Taren informed me that was all sarcasm.

[00:49:49] So there you go.

[00:49:50] Okay, well, um, it's turned into Jeremy for a minute.

[00:49:54] Cool.

[00:49:55] So, yeah.

[00:49:56] Um, they're familiar melodies being played on charming makeshift instruments constructed from natural materials and some human made found objects.

[00:50:04] Human made found objects.

[00:50:06] Human made like discarded sports.

[00:50:08] Yeah, I know I understand.

[00:50:09] Yeah, but like it's just very odd.

[00:50:11] You very whatever.

[00:50:12] Why not just found objects?

[00:50:14] Right.

[00:50:16] Who cares?

[00:50:17] But who's behind the critter band meet some of the adorable musicians, in get to know them a little more.

[00:50:23] So there's a beaver and there's a really old dilapidated turtle.

[00:50:29] Counts high to play in a harmonica.

[00:50:32] That's Rufus Apollo is a raccoon who's playing a little squeeze box there.

[00:50:37] Gritty which is a rabbit playing a strumming on a license plate.

[00:50:44] Human made found object.

[00:50:45] There you go.

[00:50:46] See there you go.

[00:50:47] What's this?

[00:50:48] Timoleon is an author playing a fiddle and then bow is a possum playing a stand up base.

[00:50:54] What is by what is the beaver playing?

[00:50:58] Bile of the beaver doesn't just build dams she helps build musical instruments using natural materials and buy you as a strong willed percussionist.

[00:51:06] It's safe to say by Hala Bahalia is the heartbeat, uh, the heartbeat of the band.

[00:51:13] It's so hard to tell a size.

[00:51:15] Yes, right?

[00:51:16] It's interesting to have an instrument designer as part of your lore in a ride where you're going to pass it in 10 seconds.

[00:51:28] Like it's not a movie.

[00:51:30] Well she's the percussionist but what is interesting is they give these people back stories.

[00:51:34] Yeah.

[00:51:35] Of like how they came to be in the band and it's like, is that going to come through?

[00:51:38] I don't know maybe not.

[00:51:39] Maybe it doesn't matter.

[00:51:40] Right who cares?

[00:51:41] What I just thought about is like, you're right.

[00:51:43] They all have back stories and that's the job I want because it's clearly important to like maybe two people who might be your bosses but it's not important to anyone else.

[00:51:54] And so like ultimately who cares?

[00:51:56] Yeah.

[00:51:57] Yeah.

[00:51:58] Gritty the rabbit always willing to dig a little deeper to help others.

[00:52:02] Gritty plays the washboard.

[00:52:04] A found automobile license plate with a high energy flare.

[00:52:07] It's the perfect instrument for someone who's often overzealous and digs to relieve her nerves.

[00:52:12] Okay, so she has some kind of anxiety that she needs to get rid of but she is relatable.

[00:52:18] Just digs holes instead of dealing with her personality issues.

[00:52:21] Also relatable.

[00:52:22] That's what it means.

[00:52:24] I'm seen.

[00:52:25] Yeah.

[00:52:26] And it goes on and on and on.

[00:52:28] Who cares?

[00:52:29] In addition to these talented new friends, Tiana wonders who else we might discover in the value.

[00:52:33] Oh, Tiana take the ride.

[00:52:34] You'll figure it out.

[00:52:35] More on that soon, but it's not every day we get to debut brand new original Disney characters

[00:52:40] as part of an attraction in our theme parks.

[00:52:42] I mean, that is true and cool, I suppose.

[00:52:45] And if you wish you had a critter friend of your own, you are in luck.

[00:52:49] Bo Apollo and Rufus will soon be available in the form of hugable plushies for you to take home.

[00:52:55] You can hug him, you guys.

[00:52:56] I don't know if you knew that.

[00:52:58] That's cool.

[00:52:59] Hey, look at that.

[00:53:00] The artist with a very nice high quality mask on good for this woman.

[00:53:05] I'm proud of her.

[00:53:06] What's her name?

[00:53:07] I do like the designs they look like they belong in the movie.

[00:53:10] Yeah, if you watch this little video.

[00:53:12] I can't I would not have a body on it.

[00:53:15] No, the designs look great.

[00:53:16] It looks cool.

[00:53:17] Awesome.

[00:53:18] Kudos.

[00:53:19] Yeah.

[00:53:20] I think it's going to be great.

[00:53:22] I actually really think it's going to be pretty.

[00:53:28] Yeah, of course.

[00:53:29] I mean, the ride, I think it's the ride is definitely better served anything else other

[00:53:35] than splash mountain because you can't.

[00:53:38] I mean, if you're not releasing the movie and I get it mainly because the movie is bad,

[00:53:45] like people who lament the fact that splash mountain is going, they've never seen song in

[00:53:52] the South.

[00:53:53] It's a terrible movie.

[00:53:54] But you've already said, okay, there's there's racial things to it.

[00:53:57] So we're not going to release it.

[00:53:58] We're not selling merch.

[00:54:00] It's literally a ride that you can't really sell a whole bunch of merch to accept things

[00:54:03] that say splash mountain.

[00:54:04] But this, you can purchase a hell out of every single.

[00:54:07] I mean, these characters aren't even like in the ride yet.

[00:54:10] Yeah.

[00:54:11] And nobody knows about them and they're any of plushies.

[00:54:13] I'm honestly surprised it didn't end up being like a little mermaid or something long,

[00:54:17] long ago.

[00:54:18] Like they really held out and waited till somebody was like, hey, isn't this racist?

[00:54:23] And they're like, oh, yeah, no, we have a plan.

[00:54:25] There's like, oh, you finally noticed.

[00:54:27] You don't know.

[00:54:28] Yeah, it's like Charlie and the chocolate.

[00:54:30] You win.

[00:54:31] We've been waiting for somebody to tell us just to pick it out.

[00:54:35] You figured it out.

[00:54:36] I've always known it was racist.

[00:54:37] But yeah, I mean, refer to a few people to that episode where Terrence reviewed the movie

[00:54:43] just just was it this week?

[00:54:46] No, it was last week.

[00:54:47] Yeah.

[00:54:48] This last week I referenced it to a few people and I'm like, oh, I'll listen to it.

[00:54:52] Yeah, it's not a good movie.

[00:54:54] It's really boring.

[00:54:55] The cartoon parts are cool.

[00:54:56] I've never been able to finish it.

[00:54:57] I've fallen asleep.

[00:54:58] It's boring.

[00:54:59] Good, boring.

[00:55:00] I've never set down to watch it now.

[00:55:02] Okay.

[00:55:03] So let me share this other little lurb portion of screen.

[00:55:12] So in addition to revamping splash mountain, they are put in and then they have Tiana

[00:55:22] in a couple of different locations in New Orleans, square proper.

[00:55:25] They took over La Bata on Rouge and made it Princess and the Frog thing and they took

[00:55:29] over the French cafe or whatever it is.

[00:55:32] They're pushing into critter country.

[00:55:34] Everybody there advancing.

[00:55:35] The front is moving.

[00:55:36] They're advancing into critter country.

[00:55:38] Disneyland announces two shops inspired by Princess and the Frog.

[00:55:44] And it starts at another stop to your trip down to the bayou because two reimagined retail

[00:55:50] stores inspired by Walt Disney animation studios.

[00:55:53] The Princess and the Frog are coming to Disneyland resort because that's what we need.

[00:55:58] We need or IP to infect stores now, not even as rides, not just shopping experiences.

[00:56:05] Yeah.

[00:56:06] Why can't this just be a critter store?

[00:56:09] Why can't it just not exist?

[00:56:10] The reimagined merchandise locations coming to our critter country in Disneyland park will

[00:56:14] include rays, burrays and Louise critter club.

[00:56:20] Their stories will further immerse you into Princess Tiana's story along with the opening

[00:56:25] of the attraction.

[00:56:26] Tiana's Bayou Adventure later this year.

[00:56:28] Take a peek at just released concept art of these stories or these stores from Walt Disney

[00:56:33] Imagineering below.

[00:56:34] Oh, this is just concept art.

[00:56:36] Yeah, but this used to it looks like this used to be the winning the poo thing or whatever

[00:56:40] right?

[00:56:41] At the very end of critter country.

[00:56:43] That's like kind of where we're winning the poo and take her and everybody like came out

[00:56:47] of, but don't which they had a they had a splash mountain store.

[00:56:51] Didn't they?

[00:56:52] No.

[00:56:53] Or am I mixing this up with Walt Disney World?

[00:56:55] There was a hat store and a candy store in.

[00:56:58] Yeah, that hat store is raised burrays now.

[00:57:01] Yeah.

[00:57:02] Well, raise raise.

[00:57:03] Yeah, it used to be the briar patch.

[00:57:04] Oh, okay.

[00:57:05] So this is entering into the lane.

[00:57:06] Oh yes.

[00:57:07] Yeah, this isn't at the end.

[00:57:08] This is where you go into splash mountain.

[00:57:10] All right.

[00:57:11] Yeah, the line.

[00:57:12] I guess.

[00:57:13] I don't know.

[00:57:14] I mean, it makes sense.

[00:57:15] Here's my problem when I when I first heard about this is okay.

[00:57:20] So Tiana is taking over splash mountain in my head.

[00:57:26] I'm going, well, that must mean since it's taking place in New Orleans at New Orleans

[00:57:30] Square is going to take over that portion of critter country, which was splash mountain,

[00:57:36] right?

[00:57:37] But I guess they're keeping it separate.

[00:57:39] Oh, I'm not that offended.

[00:57:41] I guess by it now because I don't care enough about critter country to like care.

[00:57:45] I thought that, okay, well, if you're tying in, if you're tying in a ride to a city location

[00:57:52] that has a land in Disneyland, but the ride and it's not in the land, the incongruent factors

[00:57:59] make my brain hurt.

[00:58:00] Well, okay.

[00:58:01] So here's a thought that I just had.

[00:58:03] So Princess in the Frog takes place obviously in New Orleans.

[00:58:07] But some of it takes place in the town.

[00:58:09] But then she gets turned into a frog and it takes place like in the Bayou area where critters

[00:58:14] live.

[00:58:15] So if haunted mansion weren't there, this would actually be the perfect transition.

[00:58:19] It's really now haunted mansion.

[00:58:21] That's the problem.

[00:58:22] So now they just have to redo haunted mansion into some sort of Tiana thing and then the

[00:58:26] whole thing like.

[00:58:27] Imagine I mean, I know you're trying to.

[00:58:36] I mean, at least at least haunted mansion is in the stuff.

[00:58:42] Is it in a Southern style?

[00:58:43] But imagine you just took a hovercraft tour just straight past the haunted mansion and

[00:58:49] to the Bayou.

[00:58:50] I guess what I mean is I don't like it because I like that.

[00:58:56] I like the delineation between lands.

[00:58:59] I don't like the lands bleeding into one another like this.

[00:59:02] I don't like the fade.

[00:59:04] I don't like it.

[00:59:05] I enjoy it.

[00:59:06] I think it's weird and I think it causes confusion.

[00:59:09] Are we still especially because then they put Tiana bold stuff into Noreland square?

[00:59:14] Yeah.

[00:59:15] They got the two shops.

[00:59:16] So like where what's happening are those canonically?

[00:59:20] Is it both critter country and Noreland square?

[00:59:23] What's going on?

[00:59:24] Well, see, I think I think Criticontry is just not.

[00:59:28] It doesn't your Bay Area was showing right there when you said Critter Country.

[00:59:31] Critter Country.

[00:59:33] I think Criticontry.

[00:59:35] Criticontry is just it's non, it can be in Noreland.

[00:59:42] It can be anywhere.

[00:59:43] It's critter.

[00:59:44] It's about the critters.

[00:59:45] It's not about the location.

[00:59:46] No, I don't, I disagree with that.

[00:59:49] Traveling further into the land, you'll come across Louis Critter Club currently the left

[00:59:53] hand side of poo corner.

[00:59:55] This is the sea pustel there.

[00:59:58] But sort of fully slightly candy part.

[01:00:02] Oh, bother.

[01:00:03] I have to make room for more critters where friends of Tiana's Bay Area adventure call

[01:00:08] this local hotspot their home away from home.

[01:00:13] Home away from home.

[01:00:14] Sorry, the spot on my monitor made it.

[01:00:15] It's not looking like that's a period.

[01:00:18] Louis Critter Club is a place to go for a parallel accessories home decor and more featuring

[01:00:22] some of your favorite critters and Princess Tiana.

[01:00:25] The treats side of poo corner will remain as a designation for must have merchandise from

[01:00:30] 100 acre wood, including beloved sweet treats like Tigger tail.

[01:00:34] Oh, Tigger tail.

[01:00:36] So uh, Carter country is going to be temporarily closed May 1st and I don't know when it's

[01:00:41] going to reopen later this year.

[01:00:44] Apparently.

[01:00:45] Let's look at the comments.

[01:00:47] It's my favorite excited.

[01:00:48] Well, you know that they delete the bad ones.

[01:00:50] Sometimes sometimes they don't catch some times.

[01:00:53] Yeah.

[01:00:54] Be ha excited.

[01:00:55] Comment interested poo corners.

[01:00:57] Perfect.

[01:00:58] Please don't erase it.

[01:00:59] I'm going to get a long guest dot, dot, dot, guest.

[01:01:01] That is actually.

[01:01:03] Jason.

[01:01:04] I had a feeling that it would be a matter of time before the briar patch bit the dust.

[01:01:08] Nice no one yo comma BP.

[01:01:11] That was from John very succinct john.

[01:01:14] Very cool and it's great that the treat to side of poo corner will remain.

[01:01:18] That's from Fred.

[01:01:19] Good job, Fred.

[01:01:21] Uh, question from Lindsey that was never answered any news on when the Carter country specifically

[01:01:26] the Winnie the Pooh attraction will reopen.

[01:01:28] Uh, no, if you read the story, they say later this year.

[01:01:32] Uh, Elaine with a very passion, a passionate response.

[01:01:37] Please do not take away space from poo corner.

[01:01:39] The poop merchandise is very popular and well loved by children and adults, especially since

[01:01:44] it is right next to poo and friends meet and greet spot as well as the poo ride that

[01:01:49] area is specific to Winnie the Pooh.

[01:01:51] A staple Disney character for over 100 years.

[01:01:54] She's not around.

[01:01:55] Yeah, but also they know this except for the 100 years part.

[01:01:59] Well, yeah, I mean, yeah, I just like what are you telling you're telling Disney their

[01:02:07] demographic?

[01:02:09] Uh, Jennica, Jennica, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, don't change poo.

[01:02:16] Okay.

[01:02:17] And there you go.

[01:02:19] That's that's it.

[01:02:20] There you go.

[01:02:21] Um, okay, a very powerful question on Reddit popped up.

[01:02:25] Oh, and this is in response to this article first.

[01:02:29] I found about it on Reddit Marvel ride overlay coming to it's a small world in Tokyo

[01:02:35] Disneyland.

[01:02:36] And I want to know you guys' thoughts on this.

[01:02:38] I want everybody's thoughts.

[01:02:39] They are, I mean, I guess I can read a little bit of the article, but Disney has announced

[01:02:42] that it's a small world with Groot.

[01:02:45] Well, debut in winter 2025 at Tokyo Disneyland as the world's first version of the iconic

[01:02:51] boat ride with characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

[01:02:55] So already, to me, that means it's going to happen in other parts, but they're doing

[01:02:59] Tokyo Disney first.

[01:03:00] They're testing it out.

[01:03:02] Yeah.

[01:03:03] Um, my initial thought is how dare you?

[01:03:08] Yeah.

[01:03:09] Let me finish it.

[01:03:10] Let me finish your article first and then, uh, yeah, according to the press release from

[01:03:13] Tokyo Disney Resort, the attraction overlay will feature MCU characters designed in the

[01:03:17] endearing style of the Tokyo Disneyland attraction.

[01:03:20] It's a small world in the attraction, guess board.

[01:03:24] We know what the attraction is.

[01:03:26] And it's a small world with Groot, Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy film trilogy and

[01:03:30] his friends from Marvel Studios film are visiting Earth for vacation.

[01:03:35] Groot encounters his friends in various locations on Earth and experiences their regional cultures

[01:03:39] and music with them as well as with children from all over the world.

[01:03:44] Right all the fun moments Groot has spending his vacation with his friends.

[01:03:49] Guests will continue to see their favorite character in Disney animation films throughout

[01:03:53] the world.

[01:03:55] Don't miss it's a small world with Groot where for the first time characters from Marvel

[01:04:00] Studios will penetrate your brain they can never leave.

[01:04:04] Yeah, first of all, this article is bad because it just keeps repeating itself every paragraph.

[01:04:10] It's just a slight version.

[01:04:11] So here's a concept art.

[01:04:14] It's so cute.

[01:04:15] It looks cute.

[01:04:16] It's very, very Blair style or whatever.

[01:04:19] But I don't know anyway.

[01:04:21] So I found that I found this post on Reddit which I'll put up here on the Disneyland sub and

[01:04:28] this poor person would.

[01:04:31] So here's the thing is two days ago, would you like them?

[01:04:34] First of all, them.

[01:04:35] Would you like them to add Marvel characters to it's a small world like they just announced

[01:04:39] they're doing at Tokyo and he posted the, you know, the concept art zero up votes.

[01:04:46] Oh, rude.

[01:04:48] Yeah, zero.

[01:04:50] The first comment this feels like an April Fools joke come early.

[01:04:55] I know it's a real thing in Tokyo just feels like something someone would run with for

[01:04:59] April Fools people.

[01:05:02] The people don't like it overwhelmingly in the sub and it's only 35 comments in it but

[01:05:05] it's like it people, it doesn't fit the vibe.

[01:05:10] Someone just literally says no.

[01:05:13] The characters within the Disneyland small world are a nice addition and I'm glad they're

[01:05:17] only here and not at Walt Disney World but that what's there currently is enough.

[01:05:22] So I guess we're talking about like Lilo and Stitch and whatever in our thing.

[01:05:25] Yeah, I don't even think you need to add extra IP but whatever.

[01:05:28] And someone goes, no, what?

[01:05:33] Blah blah blah.

[01:05:34] Seriously, enough with this shoe horning of IP into existing and beloved attractions.

[01:05:39] Totally lame.

[01:05:40] Anyway, people don't want it.

[01:05:45] Nobody nobody wants it.

[01:05:46] I want it.

[01:05:47] No, you don't.

[01:05:48] I actually do.

[01:05:49] I do.

[01:05:50] No, you don't.

[01:05:51] I didn't but listening to the backstory of it and knowing it's just an overlay.

[01:05:56] It's not like, I mean, jingle crews was an awesome overlay.

[01:06:01] You don't want it every time you go on the jungle crews but it's cool to see once in a

[01:06:04] while.

[01:06:05] I have no problem.

[01:06:06] Also, those character drawings were so adorable.

[01:06:09] 100% I'm on board with this.

[01:06:11] I'm okay with it.

[01:06:12] It would make me go on small world when maybe I wouldn't have before and so hey, you know

[01:06:17] I.

[01:06:18] What do you think, Nicole?

[01:06:21] I don't know because I just went on small world and it was different than I expected

[01:06:28] and I don't know how I feel about it.

[01:06:30] It was too new.

[01:06:31] I'm expecting the same thing like pirates.

[01:06:34] Do you are you a big MCU fan?

[01:06:40] Nope.

[01:06:41] Do you dislike it or you just not a fan?

[01:06:43] Don't watch it.

[01:06:44] Cut.

[01:06:45] So you don't care either way.

[01:06:46] You don't have to go on me like, oh cool that's a character from something I've seen.

[01:06:50] Okay.

[01:06:51] And you're like, oh, it's more like, oh the design is cool and it's not intrusive into

[01:06:54] the ride and so like who cares?

[01:06:56] Yeah.

[01:06:57] Okay.

[01:06:58] That's very in the call answer too.

[01:06:59] Yeah.

[01:07:00] So okay, there's that.

[01:07:02] You were of no help.

[01:07:03] Thank you very much.

[01:07:04] Eric, what do you think?

[01:07:05] I'm frantically trying to access the Tokyo press site because I want to confirm that this

[01:07:11] thing is real.

[01:07:12] I think it's cool.

[01:07:13] I mean, if it's an overlay, why not?

[01:07:16] It's a different country.

[01:07:17] Things work out differently there.

[01:07:18] The Tiki room has stitching it and apparently everybody loves it.

[01:07:22] They're still doing country bears there but mostly the vacation hold down which I don't

[01:07:27] know what that is but that sounds amazing.

[01:07:30] Like, it's a different group of people, different group of fans and they don't hold things

[01:07:37] as beloved as we do here from what I understand about the culture.

[01:07:41] So why not try out something and see if it looks interesting?

[01:07:44] I don't think that they would, I don't know that just because they're doing it in Tokyo

[01:07:48] means that they're going to do it here because we still don't have stitch in either Tiki

[01:07:52] room here because they tried.

[01:07:53] Oh lord, they tried to mess with Tiki room under new management at Walt Disney.

[01:08:00] World, somebody will do a show about it on the Supreme Resort.

[01:08:04] They keep begging to do it.

[01:08:05] They keep telling me now and do it as a segment of our show.

[01:08:09] Do come on.

[01:08:10] It's not like you don't have four shows.

[01:08:12] That's right.

[01:08:13] Oh man.

[01:08:14] We're doing it live.

[01:08:15] I were doing it now.

[01:08:16] Yeah, this now is the dome.

[01:08:18] Yeah, when will now be?

[01:08:20] At first, I was like, you know what?

[01:08:22] I don't care.

[01:08:23] No, actually, that's not true.

[01:08:24] At first, I was like, this is stupid.

[01:08:26] But you know what?

[01:08:27] The more I think about it, I think Tara might be right.

[01:08:31] I think maybe I don't truly care.

[01:08:34] Like yeah, why not?

[01:08:35] I'll see something new because it's not like small world is great.

[01:08:40] Anyway, it's cool.

[01:08:42] It's very.

[01:08:43] It's not even that.

[01:08:46] It's very, the imagery is great.

[01:08:49] The colors are awesome.

[01:08:50] The artwork is great.

[01:08:51] And if it blends in with that, I think it's fine.

[01:08:54] I guess my problem is the whole group thing, especially

[01:08:58] Guardians of the Galaxy and just Marvel in general.

[01:09:00] I guess it's so overdone.

[01:09:03] It's like, oh my god, dude, it's like putting a Captain Marvel.

[01:09:06] I don't know.

[01:09:07] I feel like of all the things, why the group thing?

[01:09:12] It's like baby Yoda.

[01:09:13] It's like, it's done to death.

[01:09:15] It's done too much.

[01:09:17] And so that's my thing.

[01:09:18] It's like, I think that's where I'm hitting on it.

[01:09:20] Where it's like, it's too obvious, I suppose.

[01:09:24] Yeah.

[01:09:25] But what are they going to do?

[01:09:26] Put steamboat Willie driving down the frigging, you know, Minneapolis River or whatever

[01:09:30] it is?

[01:09:31] Mississippi.

[01:09:32] LGH brought up a good point that she doesn't necessarily like it because none of those

[01:09:37] creatures are earthly characters, which is a good point since it's a star-lord world

[01:09:43] is all about.

[01:09:44] That's not true.

[01:09:45] Star-lord is only half well.

[01:09:46] Star-lord is born in Epcot.

[01:09:48] There we go.

[01:09:50] It would almost be cuter if it was like they got their own little section.

[01:09:54] That'd be cute.

[01:09:56] Well, I mean, I don't know maybe-

[01:09:58] But there are vacation.

[01:09:59] I don't know.

[01:10:00] I- the storyline, it, I don't know, it kind of spoke to me.

[01:10:03] I kind of, I kind of, I think I'm on board.

[01:10:06] Good.

[01:10:07] Okay.

[01:10:08] Okay.

[01:10:09] Well, there you go.

[01:10:10] That's all the news I really had to cover.

[01:10:11] It was a lot of, actually, that's not true.

[01:10:13] Have one more, one more new story than we're getting out of here.

[01:10:15] And this one's the most important new story of them all.

[01:10:18] Oh boy.

[01:10:20] Former Disney CEO, Bob Chaepeck breaks his silence.

[01:10:24] Says there's no strategic need for ESPN partners.

[01:10:28] So I love that Bob Chaepeck is still commenting on-

[01:10:32] It can't let it go.

[01:10:33] No, he can't.

[01:10:34] Like somebody else I know.

[01:10:35] Yeah, who's that?

[01:10:36] Nicole, she's sitting right there.

[01:10:37] That's not very nice of you, except.

[01:10:39] In its first public comments since Disney fired him as CEO in November 2022,

[01:10:44] Bob Chaepeck told CNBC he sees no reason for Disney owned ESPN to add minority partners.

[01:10:50] First of all, I don't know if you can say that these days.

[01:10:53] Quote strategically, I don't really see a benefit in bringing on yet another minority partner

[01:10:58] into ESPN.

[01:11:00] CEO Bob Igertold, CNBC's David Faber in July that he'd consider selling a minority

[01:11:06] stake in ESPN to strengthen the sports networks content or technology.

[01:11:11] Either one either the content or the technology.

[01:11:14] I don't really know.

[01:11:15] I have no plan.

[01:11:16] My brain is soaked in rum.

[01:11:17] I have no idea what's going on.

[01:11:21] He plans ESPN to offer a direct consumer thing, which he said would launch by fall of 2025.

[01:11:28] What does direct consumer?

[01:11:29] I'm so confused.

[01:11:30] I guess I should read the article.

[01:11:32] The company hasn't yet announced the deal to sell a stake in ESPN, but they're talking

[01:11:37] to like a major American professional sports leagues and whatever about investing in.

[01:11:42] ESPN owns 80% of ESPN, hers publishing owns 20%.

[01:11:46] By searching for a partner, Disney wants to enhance the content distribution and marketing

[01:11:50] of the direct consumer ESPN which has not yet been priced.

[01:11:56] Yeah.

[01:11:57] So Chepex says that's stupid basically.

[01:11:59] While Chepex said he didn't agree with the need to bring on a partner for strategic reasons,

[01:12:03] he did acknowledge Disney might do it to bring in cash to pay for Comcast's one third stake

[01:12:07] in Hulu.

[01:12:09] There's already one minority strategic partner in her.

[01:12:12] So this would be bringing on a second minority strategic partner, Chepex said.

[01:12:16] Obviously the benefit of doing that is what you make available from cash and given some

[01:12:20] of the conversation that's been happening between Comcast and Disney in terms of needing

[01:12:23] to buy the final share of Hulu, it's possible that maybe cash itself is what they're after.

[01:12:32] He says if I'm on Apple TV and I want to watch a movie, I have no idea whether if it's

[01:12:37] on Prime or Netflix or Disney Plus or Hulu or whatever it's at.

[01:12:41] The way I find out is I go to Apple TV, I plug in the movie that I'm looking to watch

[01:12:46] and they direct me exactly to where that movie is and then they connect me seamlessly without

[01:12:51] me then having to exit and go to another app to go find the show on that app.

[01:12:56] I think ESPN should be that source for a central clearinghouse.

[01:13:00] Apple TV does that?

[01:13:01] Yeah, I didn't even know it did that.

[01:13:03] That sounds kind of like magical.

[01:13:04] Yeah, that's super useful.

[01:13:05] You know, who else does that is Plex?

[01:13:07] Yeah.

[01:13:08] It's free.

[01:13:09] It's free.

[01:13:10] Oh, it's like a personal media server but you don't have to have any meeting.

[01:13:14] You can download it and you can like share libraries of stuff with other people but they

[01:13:18] also have like live TV and it's free and you can do that too.

[01:13:22] You can plug in whatever it will say like this is where it's available.

[01:13:25] You can add your Netflix account and whatever and it'll just bring it right in.

[01:13:30] It's pretty great.

[01:13:31] Closing, Cheypex says how do you make yourself indispensable to the sports viewer so

[01:13:34] that they stay on with you as you evolve over to a streaming world?

[01:13:38] I think solving that problem would be one big way to do it.

[01:13:41] First of all, evolve into a streaming world dog.

[01:13:44] Where have you been?

[01:13:45] We're there.

[01:13:46] Yeah, we're living it.

[01:13:48] We're in the streaming world.

[01:13:50] Yeah.

[01:13:51] Um, so there you go.

[01:13:53] Cheypex.

[01:13:54] Well, your boy was talking.

[01:13:57] Yeah, he's saying something about his little baby.

[01:14:00] Yeah.

[01:14:01] His former baby.

[01:14:02] That was stolen from him.

[01:14:04] Uh, whatever.

[01:14:05] All right.

[01:14:06] We are leaving Nicole.

[01:14:07] I want to thank you very much for being on the show.

[01:14:08] I appreciate it.

[01:14:09] Hope you enjoyed your time visiting here.

[01:14:11] I did.

[01:14:12] Thanks guys.

[01:14:13] Yeah, you're welcome.

[01:14:14] And we're going to go try some rum, I guess.

[01:14:16] I don't know what we're going to do.

[01:14:18] Who do?

[01:14:19] And watch botched.

[01:14:20] Eric, we need to plan for a handshake.

[01:14:22] We need to plan for a secret show recording.

[01:14:25] Yes, we do.

[01:14:26] Maybe tomorrow.

[01:14:27] I don't know.

[01:14:28] Yeah, sure.

[01:14:29] Whatever.

[01:14:30] I don't drink again, but you know, oh, you're on that

[01:14:34] train again.

[01:14:35] Back on that wagon.

[01:14:36] Back on that wagon.

[01:14:37] You're back, you're not drinking anymore.

[01:14:39] What's going on?

[01:14:40] You all right?

[01:14:41] You want to talk about an hour now?

[01:14:42] It's just a little over thing.

[01:14:43] Oh, it was like last time.

[01:14:44] Let's we're giving in a little more time this time.

[01:14:46] Nice.

[01:14:47] Okay.

[01:14:48] Well, then, um, I figure out a trick.

[01:14:52] You know what, Thomas?

[01:14:53] You know what, Thomas?

[01:14:54] Whatever you want.

[01:14:55] I'll substitute in something interesting.

[01:14:56] Well, Thomas has always wanted the virgin cocktails.

[01:14:59] So true, true, true.

[01:15:00] I would say, you know, bring, you could bring that recipe

[01:15:02] to the team.

[01:15:03] Yeah, there you go.

[01:15:04] Figure something out here.

[01:15:05] And the follows fails.

[01:15:06] I'll grab another athletic.

[01:15:07] There you go.

[01:15:08] All right, everyone.

[01:15:09] Thanks for listening.

[01:15:10] I really appreciate it.

[01:15:11] Um, thank you to, um...

[01:15:15] Oh, God, I forgot.

[01:15:16] I mean, no, yeah.

[01:15:17] Thank you to you.

[01:15:18] Thank you to everybody.

[01:15:19] I really appreciate it.

[01:15:20] And by the way, if you are looking to go to the parks

[01:15:22] and see any of the cool stuff we talked about,

[01:15:25] your best bet is to go with Conceeers.

[01:15:27] You're going to Conceeers.com, plan your Disney vacation,

[01:15:30] plan your vacation to wherever you want to go.

[01:15:31] You want to go Legoland.

[01:15:32] You could do it.

[01:15:33] Conceeers can help you, but they are Disney planning experts

[01:15:36] to go there.

[01:15:38] They will hook you up.

[01:15:39] They will make reservations for you.

[01:15:40] They will do everything for you

[01:15:41] and they will charge you nothing more

[01:15:43] than what the parks charge you for tickets.

[01:15:44] That is it.

[01:15:45] They're a full service outlet.

[01:15:47] They're great people.

[01:15:48] They support the show.

[01:15:49] And they support you making memories in magic

[01:15:51] and whimsical, magical, wonderful times.

[01:15:55] Yeah.

[01:15:55] All right, buddy.

[01:15:56] Thanks a lot.

[01:15:57] And until next time, we'll see you.
