[00:00:42] If you watch on YouTube, I'm going to put up on, with this hand, I'm going to put up a lot of graphics and stuff on top of here also.

[00:00:49] Nick has been super busy. I've been waiting to do a show with Nick, but he's been super busy.

[00:00:57] So I'm keeping Bantha Milk Podcast alive temporarily by throwing out some news articles every week.

[00:01:06] I'm going to try doing this every Saturday and then giving you some updates throughout the week on different news articles and updates and stuff like that

[00:01:13] that I have scoured the internet to find. So some very important news and stuff like that.

[00:01:20] Before we do that, where can you find us? Bantha Milk Podcast on Instagram, on Facebook.

[00:01:29] Join also our group on Facebook, Sacred Jedi Texts, where we repost a whole bunch of memes and stuff like that.

[00:01:37] That is a lot of fun. Bantha Milk Podcast on Instagram, Facebook. There's something there on X. I don't even know.

[00:01:44] There is a TikTok account, Bantha Milk TikTok account that doesn't have a lot of things on it.

[00:01:53] But it is Bantha Milk Podcast at TikTok. You can follow us there too.

[00:01:58] Every once in a while you may just see pictures of me and my family dancing for some unknown reason.

[00:02:03] I don't know why. So that's where you can find us on all of our social medias.

[00:02:09] Nick will be back and we will be going back to our regular shows again once there is also new content to come out.

[00:02:15] We missed a lot in the past month and a half, but I'm going to give you a rundown of news that has happened this past week.

[00:02:31] In comic book news, Kylo Ren returns in Marvel Star Wars Legacy of Vader.

[00:02:38] Show me again the power of the darkness and I will let nothing stand in our way, says Kylo Ren.

[00:02:47] Kylo Ren is ready to finish what his grandfather started soon.

[00:02:51] The supreme leader of the First Order will follow in the footsteps of Darth Vader with the new Marvel comic series,

[00:02:58] Star Wars Legacy of Vader.

[00:03:01] So it's a brand new series.

[00:03:01] So for those of you who collect comic books, get out there.

[00:03:04] Get it now. Get the first edition.

[00:03:06] It'll be worth something in 50 years from now.

[00:03:09] Written by Charles Soule, who previously penned Star Wars The Rise of Kylo Ren and Star Wars Darth Vader,

[00:03:15] Dark Lord of the Sith, among others.

[00:03:19] The story begins with a journey to Mustafar where Ren will descend into Vader's castle.

[00:03:25] Later issues will take Kylo to the familiar sands of Tatooine as he tries to unlock the secrets of his family's past.

[00:03:33] Soule, who first teased the series at New York Comic Con in 2024,

[00:03:36] is expected to return to the Knights of Ren for a story that bookends his previous miniseries,

[00:03:43] which explored Ben Solo's fall to the dark side.

[00:03:46] When fans talk to me about my Star Wars work, two of my Marvel comic runs come up more than anything else.

[00:03:53] My 2017 run on Darth Vader with Giuseppe Camaculi and my 2019 series The Rise of Kylo Ren with Will Sliney.

[00:04:05] Soul tells Star Wars dot com.

[00:04:07] I think both of those works so well in part because they were set in parts of Star Wars timeline

[00:04:12] full of unanswered questions in the character audience really loves.

[00:04:16] This new series is not just a combination of those two books,

[00:04:20] but also a chance to explore an extremely rich selection of the timelines that almost entirely open.

[00:04:27] Kylo Ren's time as Supreme Leader of the First Order,

[00:04:30] set between the events of Star Wars The Last Jedi and Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker,

[00:04:34] Legacy of Vader revisits Kylo's enduring connection to his maternal grandfather,

[00:04:39] the Empire's enforcer Darth Vader,

[00:04:43] and future explorers and further explorers how the events of Vader's past guide Kylo's choice as he leads the First Order.

[00:04:52] So if you're into comics, new comic for you.

[00:04:56] I do own DVDs of the original trilogy,

[00:05:00] and I think I own multiple different versions because I had Blu-ray,

[00:05:05] I had regular DVD versions of it,

[00:05:07] but then once Disney Plus came out,

[00:05:10] I don't really ever pop the DVDs in.

[00:05:12] But for those of you that don't have Disney Plus and want to buy the DVDs so that you always have them,

[00:05:20] which is an interesting concept.

[00:05:22] My friend Eric says that he does it all the time.

[00:05:24] Any movie or thing he likes,

[00:05:25] he always buys it on DVD.

[00:05:27] That way he doesn't have to worry about which streaming service is it on,

[00:05:31] or is it on cable or HBO or whatever the case may be.

[00:05:34] So if you are interested in Ahsoka or The Mandalorian,

[00:05:38] the third season,

[00:05:40] this December,

[00:05:41] Star Wars Ahsoka,

[00:05:43] the complete first season,

[00:05:44] and the most recent adventures of the Clan of Two,

[00:05:47] Star Wars The Mandalorian,

[00:05:49] the complete third season,

[00:05:51] both arrive on collectible physical media.

[00:05:54] Pre-ordering starts October 31st.

[00:05:56] This set marks the first time these seasons of the Emmy-nominated Star Wars shows will be available to own.

[00:06:04] Like previous Lucasfilm Collector's Edition releases earlier this year,

[00:06:08] including Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi and Star Wars Andor Season 1,

[00:06:12] each of these new releases will be available nationally on 4K UHD Steelbook

[00:06:18] with brand new box art designed by Atelier,

[00:06:22] Cezark,

[00:06:23] collectible concept art,

[00:06:25] cards,

[00:06:25] and other bonus materials.

[00:06:28] Additionally,

[00:06:29] the four titles will be

[00:06:30] the first Disney Plus originals to be included in the 4K Ultra HD Dolby Vision,

[00:06:37] along with Atmos Audio for a home theater experience with stunning visual and immersive cinema sound.

[00:06:44] So there's,

[00:06:45] I need to get everything all over again now on 4K,

[00:06:47] because I had it on Blu-ray and I had it on whatever,

[00:06:49] now I need to get everything on 4K.

[00:06:51] So the Star Wars Mandalorian,

[00:06:53] the third season,

[00:06:54] once a lonely bounty hunter,

[00:06:56] Din Djarin returns with Grogu,

[00:06:57] meanwhile the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history.

[00:07:01] Bonus features,

[00:07:02] so these you can't get on Disney Plus.

[00:07:05] Honoring the Magistrate,

[00:07:07] a tribute to Clara Weathers.

[00:07:09] Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni pay tribute to Clara Weathers,

[00:07:12] the unforgettable talent behind Grief Cargo.

[00:07:16] We lost Clara Weathers this past year,

[00:07:18] so that's nice.

[00:07:20] Galactic Legacy,

[00:07:21] the creatures and droids of the Mandalorian,

[00:07:23] discover the secrets of Season 3's memorable creatures and droids

[00:07:27] with the artists who bring them to life.

[00:07:29] That's pretty cool.

[00:07:30] Forging the Covert,

[00:07:31] Part 3,

[00:07:32] Jon Favreau,

[00:07:33] Dave Filoni,

[00:07:33] and the filmmakers explore the expanding world of Season 3's Mandalorian Warriors.

[00:07:38] And then in Ahsoka,

[00:07:40] bonus features in Ahsoka,

[00:07:41] Ahsoka Legacy,

[00:07:42] join cast and crew for a look at the developing Ahsoka's live action series.

[00:07:46] Path of the Apprentice,

[00:07:48] explore the dynamics of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka

[00:07:51] within the world between worlds.

[00:07:54] Ghosts of the past,

[00:07:56] go deep with a spotlight on Ahsoka's allies,

[00:07:58] Sabine, Hera, Ezra, and Chopper.

[00:08:00] Darkness Rising,

[00:08:01] uncover the secrets of Ahsoka's foes.

[00:08:04] So, if you like bonus features,

[00:08:06] both of these discs have it.

[00:08:08] But, um,

[00:08:09] one thing that I was reading while going through all this,

[00:08:12] they have not released the Book of Boba Fett yet

[00:08:16] on hard,

[00:08:17] physical copies of

[00:08:20] videos that you can buy.

[00:08:22] Which,

[00:08:24] I mean, let's think about it.

[00:08:25] The Book of Boba Fett wasn't a very good series.

[00:08:27] So, I understand.

[00:08:28] But,

[00:08:30] the second half of Book of Boba Fett

[00:08:31] was basically

[00:08:32] The Mandalorian part,

[00:08:34] season 2.5.

[00:08:37] So, you need that

[00:08:38] to see

[00:08:39] where did Goku grow?

[00:08:40] When did he come back?

[00:08:41] What's Luke,

[00:08:42] who's this character,

[00:08:43] Luke Skywalker,

[00:08:44] that you speak of?

[00:08:45] All these other things

[00:08:47] that we missed out on

[00:08:48] are not going to be physically released.

[00:08:50] So, the only way that you're going to be able to keep up with them

[00:08:52] is by watching Disney+.

[00:08:54] And who knows?

[00:08:55] They could take them off at Disney+.

[00:08:56] And then,

[00:08:57] we got

[00:08:58] nothing.

[00:09:00] Alright,

[00:09:00] this is a two-parter story

[00:09:02] because

[00:09:02] the first part of this

[00:09:04] came out two days ago.

[00:09:05] And then,

[00:09:06] the second part came out a day ago

[00:09:07] where it changes everything that happened in part one.

[00:09:11] Daisy Ridley shares an exclusive update on Rey's return

[00:09:14] saying,

[00:09:15] Things are evolving.

[00:09:16] Hints more news

[00:09:17] soon to come.

[00:09:19] I don't know if this is the more news that she was referring to.

[00:09:22] Rey Skywalker actress,

[00:09:23] Daisy Ridley,

[00:09:24] has given a brand new update on Rey's upcoming Star Wars movie.

[00:09:27] Rumored to be titled Star Wars New Jedi Order,

[00:09:30] which could mean this exciting addition to Star Wars upcoming movie

[00:09:33] is making some long-awaited progress,

[00:09:36] New Jedi Order will be set 15 years after Star Wars Rise of the Resistance.

[00:09:41] And based on the rumored title,

[00:09:43] it seems safe to assume Rey will be establishing her own Jedi Order

[00:09:48] following the fall of the First Order.

[00:09:50] Beyond that, though,

[00:09:51] updates on the new Jedi Order,

[00:09:53] particularly regarding the story,

[00:09:55] have been thin.

[00:09:57] She says,

[00:09:58] Things are evolving.

[00:09:59] I continue to be very excited.

[00:10:01] There will be an update soon.

[00:10:02] While this may seem like minimal news,

[00:10:04] the update to this first Star Wars has given in some time

[00:10:07] regarding new Jedi Order.

[00:10:08] And in light of the recent updates,

[00:10:10] Rey's comments could suggest

[00:10:12] the movie may finally be making progress.

[00:10:15] But then,

[00:10:17] the latest Rey film is now apparently in jeopardy.

[00:10:21] This is one day later this came out.

[00:10:23] According to a new report from Puck screenwriter,

[00:10:26] Stephen Knight,

[00:10:27] screenwriter Stephen Knight of Peaky Binders fame,

[00:10:31] has apparently left the project,

[00:10:33] which now means the film,

[00:10:35] if it does end up existing,

[00:10:37] will probably miss its rumored December 2026 release date.

[00:10:42] Already over two years from now,

[00:10:44] the director,

[00:10:45] Sharmini Obadi-Chinobi,

[00:10:47] is still attached,

[00:10:49] from what we can tell.

[00:10:50] The film was supposed to return Rey to screen

[00:10:52] after the events of Rise of Skywalker

[00:10:54] for further adventures forming a new Jedi Order.

[00:10:57] But if this doesn't end up happening,

[00:10:59] it is yet another Star Wars movie project

[00:11:01] falling to pieces,

[00:11:02] which has happened in stunning amount of time

[00:11:04] before this year.

[00:11:05] We have,

[00:11:06] these are all of the Star Wars movies

[00:11:08] that have fallen apart.

[00:11:10] They canceled,

[00:11:10] Patty Jenkins' Rogue Squadron movie.

[00:11:13] The canceled,

[00:11:14] David Benoff and D.B. Weiss Star Wars trilogy.

[00:11:18] The canceled,

[00:11:20] Ryan Johnson's Star Wars trilogy.

[00:11:23] The canceled,

[00:11:24] Kevin Feige's Star Wars movie.

[00:11:27] The canceled,

[00:11:28] J.D. Dillard's Star Wars movie.

[00:11:30] Taika Waikiki's Star Wars movie

[00:11:32] is supposedly on indefinite hold.

[00:11:35] So all of these movies

[00:11:36] we are supposed to be getting

[00:11:37] are all canceled.

[00:11:39] Disney only managed to get out

[00:11:40] the sequel trilogy,

[00:11:41] Rogue One and Solo

[00:11:42] before the underperforming Solo

[00:11:44] had them put on the brakes

[00:11:45] to switch Disney Plus content.

[00:11:47] I disagree.

[00:11:48] It was not underperforming.

[00:11:51] It did very well in the theaters.

[00:11:55] It was only underperforming

[00:11:57] in the fact that

[00:11:58] the fans weren't really fond of it.

[00:12:02] But I think more recently

[00:12:05] both of these movies

[00:12:07] have gotten a new cult following to them

[00:12:12] because in my opinion,

[00:12:13] they're not bad movies.

[00:12:15] They're pretty good movies

[00:12:16] and I enjoy them

[00:12:18] better than some of the prequels

[00:12:20] and sequel movies.

[00:12:21] In video game news,

[00:12:24] Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft

[00:12:26] have released a new

[00:12:27] Star Wars Outlaw update.

[00:12:29] The game's third update

[00:12:31] since its release

[00:12:31] back on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S

[00:12:35] and Xbox Series X

[00:12:37] back in August.

[00:12:38] And just like the game's

[00:12:40] original release,

[00:12:41] the new update is available

[00:12:42] on all platforms.

[00:12:43] According to the official patch notes

[00:12:45] for update 1.03,

[00:12:48] so it came out in August,

[00:12:49] this is now October,

[00:12:50] they've had three updates

[00:12:52] in two months.

[00:12:53] The new update is focusing

[00:12:54] on improving stealth in the game,

[00:12:57] Enemy AI and Speeder Travel.

[00:13:00] This is not the full extent

[00:13:01] of the update though.

[00:13:02] However, there aren't any new features

[00:13:04] or any new content.

[00:13:05] The former is apparently coming

[00:13:07] in the game's fourth update

[00:13:09] on November 21st,

[00:13:11] though an update to the aforementioned

[00:13:12] described as the game's biggest yet.

[00:13:17] I haven't played it,

[00:13:18] Nick has.

[00:13:19] Whenever we get Nick back in here,

[00:13:20] he can tell us all about gameplay

[00:13:22] and tell us how it was

[00:13:23] and maybe this update makes it better.

[00:13:26] In Star Wars book news,

[00:13:29] Dark Horse Book presents

[00:13:31] Star Wars The High Republic Adventures

[00:13:33] Phase 3, Volume 3.

[00:13:36] As the heroes of Iwar do their best

[00:13:39] to celebrate their wins

[00:13:40] and resist the brutal Nile occupation,

[00:13:44] Padwan Ram Jomarma

[00:13:47] shows up with the urgent mission

[00:13:49] deep within the occlusion zone.

[00:13:51] A young ally with a secret

[00:13:52] broadcast transmission program

[00:13:54] has gone mysteriously silent.

[00:13:56] Ram has teamed up with his fellow underdogs

[00:13:59] to launch a rescue attempt,

[00:14:00] but he'll need some help

[00:14:01] from the Jedi as well.

[00:14:03] All the while,

[00:14:04] tension mounts as the allies

[00:14:05] of the Republic prepare

[00:14:06] for the final showdown

[00:14:08] against the Nile.

[00:14:09] I read the first two books

[00:14:11] of the New Republic series

[00:14:14] and they're very good.

[00:14:14] So I highly recommend

[00:14:16] checking them out.

[00:14:18] And if you can catch up

[00:14:19] all the way to this one,

[00:14:20] that'll be amazing.

[00:14:21] And finally,

[00:14:23] Mandalorian and Grogu update.

[00:14:25] This is all over all the feeds today

[00:14:27] on Saturday.

[00:14:29] Mandalorian and Grogu

[00:14:31] has apparently completed

[00:14:33] principal photography.

[00:14:35] Screen Rant claim

[00:14:37] that the shoot went smoothly,

[00:14:38] which gives Favreau skill

[00:14:40] as a producer and director,

[00:14:41] is hardly surprising.

[00:14:42] And now we wait

[00:14:44] for May 22nd, 2026

[00:14:46] and the arrival of the film

[00:14:48] to the big screen.

[00:14:49] So it's done wrapping film

[00:14:51] and is on track.

[00:14:52] Pedro Pascal's

[00:14:53] Din Djarin

[00:14:53] and his delightful award

[00:14:54] brought Star Wars

[00:14:55] Disney Plus back in 2019

[00:14:56] and the duo is leading

[00:14:57] charge back to theaters

[00:14:58] with Mandalorian

[00:14:59] and Grogu production

[00:15:00] on Star Wars.

[00:15:01] Next movie officially

[00:15:01] began in July this year.

[00:15:03] The relatively few leaks

[00:15:04] or set photos

[00:15:05] due to the use

[00:15:06] of the volume.

[00:15:07] So we don't know.

[00:15:08] There's still plenty

[00:15:09] of work to be done

[00:15:09] as the movie enters

[00:15:10] the post-production phase.

[00:15:12] There will almost certainly

[00:15:13] be reshoots

[00:15:14] backed into the schedule,

[00:15:17] can get their teeth

[00:15:18] on the VFX.

[00:15:19] Ludwig Garrison

[00:15:20] can work on the score.

[00:15:22] Pedro Pascal

[00:15:22] can lend his voice

[00:15:23] to the character

[00:15:24] once again

[00:15:24] and the fandom

[00:15:25] can prepare

[00:15:26] for some impressive fireworks

[00:15:27] as we ponder

[00:15:28] just what is the story

[00:15:30] could bring us.

[00:15:31] Din Djarin

[00:15:31] is essentially

[00:15:32] a marshal

[00:15:33] of the New Republic

[00:15:33] tasked with bringing down

[00:15:34] members of the Imperial Remnant

[00:15:36] and as the final scene

[00:15:37] of Ahsoka showed

[00:15:38] Grand Admiral Thrawn

[00:15:39] leaving the other galaxy

[00:15:42] and heading back

[00:15:43] to the GFFA

[00:15:44] could be

[00:15:45] could we be gearing up

[00:15:47] for a meeting

[00:15:48] between the two?

[00:15:49] There's clearly

[00:15:50] plenty of juicy plot

[00:15:51] real estate

[00:15:52] to build some

[00:15:52] engaging stories upon.

[00:15:55] So thank goodness

[00:15:56] they're done filming

[00:15:57] now they just have to add

[00:15:58] two years of special effects

[00:16:00] into it.

[00:16:00] They're the stories

[00:16:02] that I have

[00:16:02] for this week

[00:16:03] here on
