In the past, this has included chocolate chip cookies baked in the shape of a shot glass or red velvet cookies, but this year's version is a "waffle shot" made with a wafer cone-like texture and lined with chocolate. You can order it with milk or egg nog, or with one of 11 different liquors. Most of these options will set you back $17, but there's one that's a bit more exclusive. Simply labeled "Inquire," this liquor is none other than Remy Martin Louis XIII Grande Champagne Cognac.
The waffle shot is made with a wafer cone-like texture lined with chocolate, and you can order it with milk or egg nog, or with one of 11 different liquors. A bottle of Louis XIII typically sells for around $4,000, and a standard 1.5-ounce pour can go for around $500 at trendy restaurants in Los Angeles. So, when you consider that the waffle shot filled with this top-notch cognac is "only" $185, it starts to feel like a pretty good deal.
