Two Hot Holiday Toys For Sale At The Disneyland Resort

Just in time for the holidays, Disneyland Resort sent out a fun gift guide to our inboxes. Two items in particular look like absolute must-haves and one of them is part of a special offer for Annual Passholders! Let's have a look, shall we?

First up is a crazy-looking Spider-Bot based on what we will see at the Worldwide Engineering Brigade attraction in Avengers Campus. These remote control bots look like they're pretty agile as they spin and crawl around. You can also battle other Spider-Bots, practically demanding you buy two. Watch the video and let us know below where they fall on the cute v creepy spectrum!

The toys become available everywhere on December 4th, but it looks like Disney is expecting some high demand. Disneyland Annual Passholders can get a first glimpse at the toys and purchase between November 30th and December 3rd. If you are an AP who lives near the Downtown Disney District, you should hit up the official AP Facebook page starting on November 25th to sign up for your time slot to purchase.

Strange that we are signing up on Facebook for the chance to go to Downtown Disney and maybe buy a robot spider, but there you go. At least this is a benefit for APs other than a character magnet. No word on pricing of this toy yet, but Disney does like its expensive toys. Other unspecified Avengers Campus merch will also be for sale during this event.

If you're still in the Marvel mood, you might be interested in the new Baby Groot interactive action figure Disney rolled out. The little guy responds to more than twenty spoken words and phrases. Check out the video for more details, but you can bet some of the responses will be, "I am Groot."

Groot retails for about $60 and is already available in Disney Stores and online at shopDisney.com
