Disneyland Resort Cast Members were treated to an exclusive party last night, where the new costumes for the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Cast Members. After the park closed, Cast Members were invited to an after-hours party in Tomorrowland where they able to enjoy a few attractions as well as free popcorn and churros at the Galactic Grill and Alien Pizza Planet. Cast Members were also able to purchase merchandise at The Star Trader.
Soon after the party got started, the resort debuted the costumes on a catwalk located at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Included in the model line-up was the resort's president, Josh D'amaro who modeled one of the Food & Beverages Busser costumes, and DCA and Downtown Disney's Vice President, Patrick Finnegan who modeled a Villager costumer. The catwalk featured costumes for various lines of businesses including custodial, which is not typically included with new lands. In addition to the new costumes, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Cast Members will also have Star Wars themed name-tags that feature their name in Aurebesh.
Though the costumes have been revealed, there is no set opening date for the land. However this does give us a glimpse into just how immersive the land is going to be.
