Halloween Fun Around the Disney Parks

And here we are, at the culmination of this spooky season. Halloween is upon us! In a normal year, we
would expect to go to bed tonight and wake up tomorrow with the beginnings of Christmas decorations
around Disneyland. This year, who knows?

In any case, we can enjoy some of the Halloween fun even though Disneyland is far from letting guests
into its gates. Disney Parks Blog has a few treats for us, just in time for you to idly flip through pictures
while waiting for your kids to grab another handful of candy out of some stranger’s bucket.

If you are comfortable looking at pictures of people having fun in another Disney park, the PhotoPass
Service at Walt Disney World has an Instagram account and a FaceBook page. In a departure from
normal years, Disney is allowing guests at the Magic Kingdom to wear costumes every day this month.
Normal years restrict costumes to Halloween party nights.

It’s a sign of the times that Disney is letting people have more fun without paying more.

Disneyland Resort isn’t able to celebrate the season in its normal fashion this season, but this makes for
some interesting opportunities. Disney Parks Blog features another story on the probably-bored horses
of the Circle D Ranch.
These equine Cast Members are usually too busy pulling trolleys around Main
Street to have a fun costume party. This year, the horses and their trainers get to have a little more fun!
Take a trip to the original post for the whole story, but prepare yourself! You are about to witness horse
costumes the likes of which you have never imagined. From the ambitious but tame idea of turning a
giant draft horse into an okapi to the bizarre transformation of a horse into a baked potato, you’re in for
a show.

What kind of Disney Halloween fun are you having tonight? I can guarantee that at least one of your
EarzUp Family friends is wearing something Disney-related right now. Let us know what you’re up to in
the comments!
