Big Disney Parks news at last! Josh D'Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, shared some exciting details about ongoing Parks changes from his virtual podium at the IAAPA Expo. Details were scant, but we will take what we can get!
As we have seen before, the Avengers Campus being built in the place of the former Bug's Land is going to be an exciting addition to Disney's California Adventure. The great news is that Disney continues to make progress on this area despite being closed. The main attraction for the area's opening day is WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. This ride is potentially a shooter like Toy Story Midway Mania and we can all hope that the title really is in all caps.
Josh gave no official dates for opening, likely because we all know what happens when Disneyland announces dates. Imagine if when Disneyland finally throws open its gates, we could also enter into the world of Marvel Comics in a whole new way!
Now imagine a world without a pandemic so we can go see it. Please?
